Recap

Eddie walked out and got the rest while I was introduced to Isa's, she had told us she didn't like Isabella and Rose called her Isa, father. An older man with brown hair and a moustache. The rest joined us after that and they as well were introduced to Isa's father. After that Rose turned to the only unknown face in the room.

"And now, the grand finale. Ivan Zeklos himself!" He was blond with the same blue eyes that Tasha and Christian had. He was very handsome and had an arm around Isa and simply seemed amused at Rose her antics.

"Thank you for that introduction Rose but I think they had already come to that conclusion themselves." I liked him already. We started talking with each other after that, careful not to mention the supernatural because of Isa's father. Though he was probably already suspicious of everything, I mean he was a cop right?

We continued for awhile until the bell rang and Rose stood up to get it. That's when we heard it.

"Tasha!"

I had been getting suspicious of the guy's story but now it was just getting weird. The guy and his girlfriend had a reason to come here but the others had no reason whatsoever and how did they even know the Cullens?

They were all nice and very polite, well except for the older boy, Adrian, he was a drunk and apparently also a chain smoker. Not to mention the fact he kept on flirting with Rose, completely disregarding Dimitri's presence and only acknowledging the guy as cradle robber.

Lissa, who was apparently Rose's best friend was very polite but when I refused to get her something she seemed insulted and if she was better than me.

Maybe this was nothing but my instincts were telling me something was wrong and Bella, Ivan and I would be having a talk very soon.

The bell rang again and Rose simply stood up to get it, she felt really at home here. I could hear the door open and then a scream. "Tasha!"

I was up on my feet and towards the door immediately as were Dimitri and one the new kids, Eddie. Dimitri moved her behind him and Eddie moved in front of me, that's when I got my first look at the women that had scared Rose. She was tall, incredibly pale and bright blue eyes. Next to her was another woman with the same eye colour. The first one started to move forward but Dimitri stopped her.

"Tasha, what are you doing here?"

This was just getting ridiculous.

"Now I've had it. I want to know exactly what is going on and I want to know now." I had had it. Something was going on and I would find out right now.

"Of course sir, why don't we go back to the living room for this. It's quite a long story." His voice was placating but worried. What the hell is going on here?

We sat down again with the two women with us and I could see the Cullens or Whitlocks or whatever tense. What was so dangerous about the women?

I should have seen this coming. My dad wasn't stupid and would have figured out something was off sooner or later. I had simply hoped I would be able to explain before he started demanding answers. Now it was too late.

"Okay, dad, but please listen to everything before you decide that we have gone crazy."

"Just start explaining Bella." Great, he was pissed.

"Okay, so let's start with the easiest. Vampires exist." He was so going to think we were crazy.

"Before you go off on a rant on how that's impossible let us explain. Ivan, could you handle your part of this?" Please, do this for me.

"Of course, Charlie there is more than one kind of vampire." And that launched us into an explanation on the moroi, strigoi and dhampires. Jasper immediately took over after that with his explanation about the cold ones. When he was done I looked at my dad expectantly, please don't hate me.

"You knew about all of this? And you never said anything? Why not?" He looked so hurt that I hadn't trusted him with all of this earlier, that he had had to find out all by himself.

"And what would have happened if Edward had turned you? Would you have simply faked your death? Or would you have just disappeared?" Oh god, I had been a horrible daughter.

"Dad, I never wanted anything with Edward, he practically forced me to be with him when I found out his secret. I would have never left you behind, I couldn't do that to you or myself. But I couldn't tell you dad. It would have endangered your life and I really don't want you to die because of me." Please see it my way, please.

"He forced you?" The barely contained rage surprised me. I hadn't expected him to focus on that, more on the whole dying part.

"Dad? He never forced himself on me, just the dating. He never touched me." He seemed relieved yet still angry.

"If he ever comes back here I will kill him." That's when Rose decided to jump in.

"Sorry Charlie but I've already got dibs on that, you can help though. We do have to train you if you want that." Charlie's eyes practically bugged out at her words. Right, we didn't tell him Rose was deadly and had asked permission to kill Edward.

"You're going to kill him? But you're so tiny!" I almost laughed at Rose's indignant look and I could see the rest trying to hold in their laughter as well. Christian was the first to burst.

"You hear that Rosie, you're tiny."

"Really Chrissie, I'm tiny? Have you looked at yourself?" To finish it off she threw a coaster at his head.

Charlie was still slightly shocked with everything so I figured we might as well make sure he knows not to worry about Rose, or the other guardians.

"Rose, why don't you show my dad why you want to be one to kill Edward." She started beaming and dragged Dimitri towards the backyard. We followed them to see them already in fighting stances. Charlie seemed worried about Rose and I almost went into hysterics.

That's when they started. It didn't take long for both of them to get in and take some hits but after awhile Dimitri had her pinned. Rose simply smirked and did something I would have never expected. Instead of trying to get out of his pin, she simply put her legs around him and grounded into him. His eyes went wide and she used his momentarily distraction to reverse the pin and beat him. Charlie looked shocked.

"You fight?" He was still looking from Dimitri to Rose and back again, probably wondering how the hell such a tiny looking girl could beat a guy as big as him.

"Yeah, we're trained from the age of twelve to fight. I know how to use a gun as well, plus I already have two molnija marks." Rose looked proud to have shocked my dad this bad and was smirking at his shocked look.

"What's a molnija mark?" Okay, next time we explain something we should do it good. Rose decided to explain this. And afterwards Charlie looked even more shocked, I don't think he wanted to believe a girl the same age as his daughter had already killed two 'people', even though they were evil beings.

We went back inside after the mock fight to talk about what would happen now. It was decided, after the two older guardians agreed, that the moroi and dhampires would stay here for the remaining of the year and finish school with us.

The dhampires would still be trained every afternoon and they would be able to graduate ad full fledged guardians. The moroi would simply study their elements on their own since they were all very advanced and if needed Ivan could help them.

Adrian would simply stay with the older Cullens who had already 'graduated'. In other words, he would be in a house with Emmet, Rosalie and Jasper all day doing nothing and getting drunk.

Mia was ecstatic. And that was to put it mildly, she was overjoyed she would be able to stay with Jasper who she had already fallen in love with. Or at least that's what I think. I'm happy for them though, Jasper deserves to be happy after what that pixie bitch did and Mia seemed to need something good in his life as well.

I had a feeling everything would be all right, even with Edward and Alice on the loose. My friends and new found family would protect me and I would protect them. I was going to ask Dimitri and Rose and the other guardians to train me so I wouldn't be defenceless and maybe it would improve my balance as well.

We made plans to go shopping the next weekend and after that everyone left, leaving me and my dad in the house alone. What a weird feeling that was after having such a full house for the entire weekend. Tomorrow I would go back to school and be joined by the rest of the gang and we would simply stick it out until the end of the year.

This would certainly be interesting….

So, kind of a short chapter but I hope a good one. It's my birthday today so this is my present to you since I have been AWOL for so long.

Review because that would be a great birthday present.
