Chapter 14 - Return To Sanity

Seto placed his lover on the bed so he could sleep. He heard Mokuba and Isabelle giggling in the room next door. Seto shook his head, thinking, *What are they up to?* Ignoring the laughter, he climbed into bed beside Yami. The tri-color haired teen next to him wrapped his slender arms around Seto.

"Now, what are you up to, Yami?" he inquired, slowly running his fingers through Yami's silky hair. Yami began mumbling something incoherent, but kept his soft yet firm grip around the brunette. Seto began to struggle to escape, but his lover mumbled, "...Sleep?" in such a childish way, he couldn't help but laugh at the cute factor of the single word. He tried to get in a comfortable position, but that task was nearly impossible with Yami clinging to him.

"Could you let me go so I can sleep?" Seto asked, hoping Yami hadn't fallen asleep yet. He smiled when the sleepy teen merely rolled over, curling in on himself to keep in the warmth. The brunette sunk into the comfort of his bed and shifted to his side, waiting for sleep to take him.

Yami's POV

As I wait for my lover to fall into a blissful slumber, I reflect on how my day has been so far. Well, for starters, I was kidnapped by my psychotic ex, Valencia. Then, I was practically tortured for the last few days because she wanted me to be her's again. After that, I spent my time by either sleeping or bashing my head into the nearest wall. Strange, I know, but that's how I passed the time while I was being 'taken care of' by a fucking lunatic!

Sorry for raising my voice, but no one really knows what that feels like. I heard a squeal from Mokuba's room. What in the world are they up to? I listen to Seto's gentle breathing, checking to see if he had drifted off into his dreams. Feeling confident that he had, I silently slid out of bed and crept my way outside.

I walk outside to the balcony, watching the beautiful scenery. I glanced up to see the midnight sky gorgeously painted with the bright glowing stars that I believe are well placed. I pick out each of the constellations I can see such as Orion and Ursa Major, the pale full moon shining dimly in the center of my sight.

Glancing down, I watch as the cherry blossom float across the gentle breeze, the insects alive and harminious with the constant chirping, and little fireflies lighting up to give a golden sparkle to the green grass below, complimenting the darkness I so adore. It was absolutely perfect.

Well, almost perfect. The only thing that would complete this would be-

"Are you sure you should be up?" Oh, it's Seto. "You've been through enough today. You need your rest." I look back towards the cloudless sky. "It's beautiful out here, though." I felt his arms wrap around me and asks, "Have I ever told you how stunning you look in the moonlight?" I laugh gently, stealing a sweet kiss from my lover. "You have now."

Normal POV

Seto pulled Yami towards him for another kiss, the sweetness turning to passion, the moment becoming deeper and darker. Yami felt a little faint since they had held the kiss for a moment too long. Parting for only a moment, Seto carefully pins him to the railing of the balcony and initiating another kiss with Yami, slipping his hands under the black silk shirt he had dressed his lover in.

Yami felt Seto's fingertips ghosting along his spine, a jolt of adrenaline shot through him, and gasped in shock when Seto groped his ass a little roughly, breaking the kiss. The brunette breathed hotly on his neck, making Yami want more. Yami felt like he was going to die from the amount of pleasure he was feeling in his already weakened state.

Seto, remembering that Yami was still weak from what happened with Valencia, he pulled his lover closer to him and led Yami back to the bedroom. He was certainly going to need his rest.

Yami: Oh? What's wrong?

Sakura: I completely did this wrong! Now I have to deal with everything from here to- *looks at everything again* Oh, wait... wrong story, never mind! X3

Seto: Everything is a mess with you right now, isn't it?

Sakura: I merely believed that I messed up somewhere along these lines again. No one's perfect! And if there's one person that is, then so sue me!

Yami: I see you in court ;-)

Sakura: Bullshit I will. XD

Seto: Alright, then, Please Review.

'February 14th, 2004,' it read. 'I've been having a lot of blackouts and memory lapses lately. I think I'm losing my mind...'
