Sorry this is so late. With school starting and getting my schedule and all that I've been kinda busy. But, lateness or not, it's here now so enjoy and be sure to leave loads of comments cuz I need feedback badly. Love you all. P.S I have a YouTube channel now, there's nothing on it but I'll be sure to let you guys know when I upload my first video.

I had stayed home with a cold today. I felt like crap. I didn't tell the Professor this, though I'm sure he knew, but my recent headaches where from a new ability that I had discovered. I could 'clear peoples minds' or in a cense, calm their minds if there where too many thoughts. I walked down the empty hall, sighing and giggling at the small echo. I walked into the kitchen and quickly made some tea before everybody got home.

"Feeling better, Dan?" I turned around and saw Kurt walk in. I smiled, heart fluttering little when he smiled back.

"Yeah, I'm fine." I said. "Just a small headache and a cough now." he smiled and walked over turning off his holo-watch.

"That's good." he said. I nodded and took a sip of my tea. I closed my eyes and sighed in content. It was the small things like asking if I was OK that made me love him.

"I'm gonna go back to bed now." I said. "I'd give you a goodbye-bye hug but I don't wanna get you sick." he chuckled.

"Well thanks." he said. He pat my head and walked out of the kitchen. I smiled and climbed the stairs back up to my room.

The next day

My cold was feeling a lot better, but the Professor said I should stay home just in case. So I was dressed and feeling great by the time everybody got home later that day. And ready when the Professor alerted us that there was a problem with Jean, I was up, dressed, and ready to go in about a minute.

I met up with Kitty, Evan, Rogue and Kurt and we all waited for more instructions. Soon, Logan walked in the room, helping Scott walk in beside him and pushing the Professor in front of him. Scott's clothes where torn and burnt in some places.

"What is going on up there!? Kurt asked as the whole building shook. "It's like someone's nukin' the place." Evan said.

"Yeah, is Jean alright?" Kitty asked. "No she's not." the Professor responded. "Her powers are evolving too rapidly for her to control." the house shook again. "Been there, done that." I mumbled as I regained my balance. "Probably not on this scale, but that in itself wasn't fun so this is really bad."

"I've gotta get back up there!" Scott exclaimed. Logan put a hand on his shoulder. "Wait." he said. "You can't even get close to her. We need a plan." Scott pushed Logan's hand away.

"Like what?" he yelled. This time it was Rogue who put a hand on his shoulder. "I have an idea." she said. "You say there's too much goin' on in Jean's head?" she took off her right glove. "Then let me drain some off."

"No Rogue." the Professor said. "It may be to much for you." Rogue stepped towards him. "I can handle it." she said. "Just let me try!"

"There's so much chaos in her mind." he said. "What she needs is something to focus on." Scott stepped up next to Rogue.

"If Rogue can clear her thoughts," he said. "Then maybe I can get her to focus on me." I nodded.

"We don't have too many options Charles." Logan said. "Very well then." he said after a moment. We then all went up to Jean.

"Oh my god." I murmured. The room had been completely demolished and many heavy, and very possibly fatal if they landed on anyone, things where flying dangerously fast around her. A table was launched our way and Logan dragged me to the side to avoid it.

"Her telekineses seems to be rearranging matter at a molecular level." the Professor said. "I fear we haven't much time."

"Clocks running." Scott said. "Let's move!" we all ran forward and it tool almost all of my concentration not to get hit with anything. A filing cabinet was thrown in my direction and I ducked underneath it, only to jump over a desk mere moments afterwords. Everything was going so fast and eventually something managed to hit me in the back of the head. I fell to the floor and my vision went fuzzy. I realized that if I tried to move forward in this condition that it was very possible that I could die. I also realized, that if I didn't move forward, Jean might loose herself. And I know how it feels. I had changed myself during the beginning of my friendship with Ann. I don't want that to happen to her. I stood up and forced my vision to focus and began to move forward in a straight line, dodging only when necessary and trying to move my head as little as possible. I saw Kurt grab Rogue and port her toward Jean. I was almost to her. Just a few more feet. I could almost touch her hand, but then some kind of force pushed me back and I flew into the wall. I tried to get up. I really did. But I couldn't. If anything happened to Jean I wouldn't be able to forgive myself. I kept telling myself to calm down. That Rogue could do the same for Jean that I could but my paranoia was getting the better of me. What if it doesn't work? What if she gets pushed away like I did? What if she doesn't make it in time? I closed my eyes and tried to focus on staying awake, I had to make sure Jean was OK. If I couldn't help, then I would at least see what happened.

"Now Rogue!" I heard the Professor yell. "You must do it now!"after a few moments I heard Rogue scream and my eyes shot open, expecting the worst. But she'd done it. She had her fingers placed on Jeans forehead. And it seemed that simple touch was enough. For a moment. The she was thrown away. I clenched my eyes shut and forced myself to stay awake. I tried. I kept trying. But I couldn't. Everyone's voices became muffled, my vision became black. It was so slow. So painful. I thought I heard somebody call my name, but I blacked out before I registered anything else.

Kurt POV

"Jean, Jean!" Scott called. "Please listen to my voice! Focus on it!" we all expected Jean to respond. But instead her voice came from Rogue.

"Scott?" she asked, her eyes closed tight. "Scott where are you?" Scott looked at her slightly confused.

"Jean?" he asked. "Help me, Scott!" Jean pleaded through Rogue. "I will Jean." Scott said. "Just focus on me."

"I-I can't." she said. "I'm loosing you." Scott held onto her shoulders. "No! Don't tell me what you can't do." he said. "I know you better than anyone ever has, or ever will. Come on you can do this!" Rogue opened her eyes.

"Scott."

"Scott." her and Jean said at the same time. We all turned back to Jean. There was a bright light and we where all pushed back. When the light faded, Jean fell back onto the table in the center of the room. "Jean!" I heard Scott call. I looked up and saw him running to her. I looked around for Danni. I saw her against the far wall. I thought she had only now been pushed back like the rest of us. But none of us where that far back. And if the force of that blast wasn't enough to knock us all back, then it certainly wasn't enough to cause the small amounts of crimson on the wall and floor. I was frozen in shock for a moment. And when I was finally able to do something it was only to call her name.

"Danni!"

Danni POV

To me it felt like only a moment, even though I knew it had been much longer. I opened my eyes and sat up, feeling only a slight pain in my head now. I looked over and saw the Professor. He looked at me and smiled. I smiled back.

"How long was I out this time?" I asked. "About 3 weeks I'm afraid." he replied. I gasped and pulled my knees to my chest, burring my face in my arms.

"I was never this bad before." I groaned. "What's happening?" the Professor looked to me for a few moments before he answered.

"It appears that your physical abilities have stoped evolving, and that your powers that are continuing to develop are more along the lines of telekinesis." I looked to him. "The challenges that you and the others are facing are getting harder, and you are used to relying on your physical abilities to protect you, but they are not strong enough to handle what happens anymore. That is why you have been injured so much." I sighed.

"Wait!" I exclaimed sitting up. "Jean, is she OK? Did she-" "Calm down, Danni." the Professor said. "Jean is perfectly fine. And worried sick about you, just like the others." I smiled.

"She's alright." I mumbled. "I'm glad." I stood up and said goodbye to the Professor, quickly going to my room and changing into some baggy camo print jeans, white running shoes, and a plain whit T-Shirt. I opened my door and walked into the back yard. I was sitting on one of the benches, eyes closed and knees pulled up to my chest, enjoying the breeze against my warm skin.

"Danni!" I looked behind me and saw Jean. I smiled as she ran up to me. I stood up and greeted her. She hugged me tight.

"I'm really sorry." I smiled and hugged her back. "It's nothing, really." I said. "I'm just glad your OK." we walked back inside together, talking about the 3 weeks that I had missed. She had just told me a funny joke that Even had told her earlier that day as we walked through the door and I laughed. After a moment I heard many people call my name and was soon surrounded by almost everybody. The only person missing was Kurt.

"Hey where's Kurt?" I asked after a few minutes. "He's up in his room." Evan said. I ran up their after a quick goodbye and knocked on the door.

Kurt POV

I heard a knock on my door but I didn't bother answering it. It was probably just Logan again. After a few moments I heard the door creak open and I turned around.

"Danni?!" I exclaimed. She smiled and waved. "Hey!" she said. "The others said I would find you up here, and I just wanted to let you know that I'm all better now." I quickly got up and hugged her.

"Please, stop getting hurt." I begged. "I was really worried." I felt her arms wrap around me. "Promise?" she laughed and my heart nearly melted.

"I promise." she said.

Danni POV

I pulled away and looked in his eyes. After a moment I swear he was leaning closer. Was I getting closer? No it was definitely him... And me. Is what I think is happening what's actually happening? My heart was racing a mile a minute and our faces where an inch apart.

"Danni!, Kurt! It's time for dinner!" Jean called. We both jumped apart, me blushing a deep crimson. I quickly willed my face to return to it's natural color before I looked at him.

"We should- we should go." I said. He nodded and we walked down stairs.
