The dimensions were twisting and changing. When they were done they had dropped off a young man in a very familiar place. "What is this…why...why am I back home? That was my last jump and I'm home. No…no…no…"
"I've been waiting for you…Nii-san."
Seishirou sighed. His brother was still alive at least so everything he had gone through wasn't in complete vain. But alas it appeared giving up his right eye to search for that one person that had sparked interest in his dull life was in fact in vain.
"Good afternoon Otouto-chan, I see you're alive and well."
"One could say the same for you Nii-san and I'm not the only one that said that."
Mismatched eyes wore a look of confusion. What was Fuuma talking about?
He didn't have time to process the body that had suddenly attached itself to his own. "I'M SORRY!"
Seishirou looked puzzled at Fuuma first before looking down to the male attached to his body. Instantly the boy's name came to his mind. "Subaru-kun…what are you apologizing to me for?"
"I TURNED YOU AND LEFT YOU ALL ALONE I'M SORRY!"
"You saved me…and it wasn't your fault you left, more like that irritable twin brother of yours."
"Now Nii-san don't be too judgmental of Kamui...he'll be staying with us as will Subaru-san. Think you can live the life of the village priest again?"
A soft smile; a real smile; appeared on the older brother's face for the first time in heaven knows how many years. Long pale fingers pet through Subaru's hair. "I suppose. They never released what I was when I was younger so they won't figure out what I am now. "
After Fuuma led the twins inside where they would be staying he went out back to where his brother stood staring at the ancient Sakura tree.
"So Nii-san, going to feed me to it?"
"No, in fact..." The older male reached into the pocket of his robes and produced a book of matches. He struck one and lit the book on fire before flinging it at the tree. "I'm done being an assassin of the tree. I've got Subaru-kun and I've got my brother, that's enough."
"Sei-chan…"Mismatched eyes widened, he hadn't heard that nickname since he was fourteen and that felt like forever ago.
"Let's go in, so I can tell Kamui all about you when you were a kid." Turning his back on his little brother he headed inside.
Fuuma smirked, flicking his hand at the fire creating a barrier around it so it wouldn't attract unwanted attention or burn their house down. "So Yuuko, that's the last spell you meant I would have to use." Finally his brother's words sunk in. "WAIT A MINUTE SEISHIROU, DON'T YOU DARE!"
