Danwood, Plumber HQ
Most of the people in the Plumber base were quite surprised at the people that Future Star had brought with her from Mewni.
"So uh… what's going on here?" Star prime asked looking right at her Future self, Hekapoo and Rhomulous.
"Something big is going to happen at Remnant, right now and we have to stop it." Future Star said.
"Let me guess, a colossus right?" Tucker guessed while he sat at one of the monitors
"You'd be right, but unfortunately our troubles don't stop there."
Aang stepped forward. "Let me guess, Malevolence right?" Future Star nodded. "Then we have no choice. If Malevolence is going to this Remnant place, then we can't waste any time."
Dipper quickly put his hands up and looked at Hekapoo. "So you can make a portal to take us there?"
"Or anywhere kid. Dimensional Scissors can take you pretty much anywhere." Hekapoo explained.
"Ooh, ooh. Can I have one?!" Mabel excitedly said.
Hekapoo ignored Mabel and turned to the others. "Like I said, I can get you guys there easy."
Rook looked over to both Max and Stacy. "It does seem like the best option that we have." He stated perhaps we can trust Miss… uh, what did you say your name was again?"
Hekapoo face-palmed. "Last time I'm saying this, He-ka-poo. Hekapoo!" she said in loud tone. Amethyst chuckled when she heard her name. "Is there something funny?" she hotly asked while the flame on her head grew.
"N-no nothing. Your name's pretty tight." The purple gem countered.
Hekapoo backed off before Garnet could comment on Amethyst's actions. "Nice save." She complimented in her usual low tone.
Max stepped forward. "Maddie and I will assemble the team to travel to Remnant as well as stopping the colossus."
Raven was in the background and she looked concerned. Mandy noticed this and approached her. "What's on your mind?" Mandy asked, getting right to the point.
"I don't like this; it's not just Malevolence we're fighting. But it seems like we have enemies all over the Universe that we have to do something about." Raven said.
"That's just the reality of the situation… and it could get worse if we're not careful. However, Malevolence is really a spanner in the works. Defeating him is only part of the solution, remember that." Mandy walked away. Raven looked at the little girl and felt that Mandy wasn't to be fully trusted yet. Raven had a feeling that Mandy was hiding something from the rest of them, something that she would only reveal if the situation called for it. Nevertheless Raven simply kept quiet and continued to meditate.
Unknown Location
Inside a lab with a dark red colour scheme, with walls that were lined with plenty of knobs and switches. There were pods that were big enough to house a variety of lifeforms. Looking in at one of the pods was Animo. "Hmm, interesting…" he commented.
Suzy walked into the room through a door that slid open automatically. "Alright, what have you got for me?"
"I've been analysing this…" he motions towards what looked like a rhombus cut, clear crystal that was on top of a device that sat in between the pods.
"A piece of rock?"
"Not just that, it apparently has the ability to fuse two different beings together." He explained.
"Fusion huh?" Suzy said. "So what have you made so far?"
Animo smirked. Inside the pod, there was a creature that was breathing heavily against the glass causing, mist to appear on it. The mist started to freeze into small ice crystals. "And this is just the beginning. The potential of these crystals are endless." Animo said.
Suzy looked curiously at the fusion crystal that was . "Hmm, yes... I wonder what else we could do with them?"

Remnant, Vale
Beacon Academy
Portals and vortexes of different shapes were opening all over Vale and while many of them remained open with nothing emerging from them. Some of them had beasts from other dimensions and planets. Some of the vortexes were even glitching in and out of existence because they led to a location that defied the current universe's laws of physics.
Many of the students of Beacon Academy were standing outside, some of them fighting off any inter-dimensional beasts and blood lust Grimm. Others were going heading to the City of Vale to make sure the citizens were safe.
Among the many students, Teams RWBY and JNPR were standing together watching the pure chaos that had befallen Beacon.
"This is really bad." June muttered, though her attention was locked onto the very large white seal that was in the sky above the large river that separated Beacon from Vale. The seal was spinning slowly in the sky. Suddenly a portal appeared in front of the group. A girl with turquoise eyes and short orange hair walked towards the portal.
She wore a black vest that had the symbol of a hammer with a lightning bolt on the back. Underneath the vest was a white sleeveless top that formed a tiny heart shape above her chest, below that were more layers of clothing that were coloured red and blue. Below that she had a pink skirt. On her arms were white detached sleeves with pink fingerless gloves. Her shoes were pink and white with pink laces.
"Ooh, what will happen if I do this?" she placed her head inside the portal and her head was seen hanging upside down out of another portal that was above them. "I can see you guys from up here!" she was pulled from the portal by another one of her team mates.
He had long black hair that was in a ponytail that ended midway down his back. There was a magenta streak that fell on the left side of his face. His eyes were also Magenta coloured. He wore a dark green and black tail-coat that was red on the inside, its long sleeves ended with pink cuffs. Below that he wore white pants with black shoes.
"Nora, don't do that…" he simply said pulling her from the blue and black vortex which quickly disappeared.
All the students and staff were extremely confused and stressed by the situation. Glynda Goodwitch was trying to bring some order to the chaos and was assembling students that had gone outside.
"Yang, what is going on!?" Ruby asked with a panicked tone.
"Don't look at me… I'm new to this too." Yang replied, though she glanced at June who looked to be deep in thought.
June was looking around. "I don't see him…" she muttered as she was on the look-out for Malevolence. "Listen guys, we should probably stay far away from these things. We have no idea of what's on the other side!" Blake did glance at June suspiciously, but decided to deal with her suspicions later.
"Don't have to tell me twice!" said Jaune who was dressed in a black, short sleeved hoodie with a white chest plate over it, there were also armored plates on his upper arms. He wore blue pants with a white patch on the left knee, below that were black sneakers. His hands were covered by brown finger-less gloves with orange sleeves on his arms. He had messy blonde hair with dark blue eyes.
The white seal in the sky that spun slowly came to a stop, turned grey and spun slowly in the other direction. While the seal continued to spin, a large robotic figure with sharp legs with no visible feet, robotic arms and a robotic head with orange glowing eyes. It was slowly falling through the seal. There were vertical, boosters on the back and a very large circular pack that had twelve blasters that could fire in any direction. The size of the mechanical marvel was minuscule to the other colossuses, standing at just below eight feet. There was a green power core on its chest. It hovered above the sea in between Beacon and Vale.
There was a silent calm as all the students and faculty looked at the colossus that came out of the seal.
It was soon charging a blast from the power core, a bright yellow beam fired and it created a trail of destruction on the ground and it exploded after hitting the bottom of Beacon Tower.
"Okay… any ideas on what this thing is!?" Yang asked.
"I don't know… Atlas could have built it, but don't think it's one of theirs." Weiss said. Soon five blasters launched out from the pack and it was firing green coloured beams at all the students and staff that stood outside the school.
Everyone was running to avoid the blasts. Pyrrha blocked a beam with her shield, while Jaune stood next to her. "Okay, what should we do?" he asked. The colossus was on land as it hovered above the ground.
June glares at the mechanical beast. "I don't know about you… But I'm going to fight!" June sprinted across the field while beams were firing at her. She leaped up and grabbed one of the blasters and forced it down before she spun on her feet and tossed it right to the colossus and it exploded on it.
"I like her idea." Ruby then grabbed her weapon, Crescent Rose while it was folded, she then unfolded it into a razor sharp, sniper death scythe. She aimed the muzzle of the sniper to the ground behind her and fired a dust round into the ground. The tremendous recoil of the weapon sent her straight into the air.
Yang smirked. "Well, no use standing here and doing nothing."
Danwood, Plumber HQ
Back on Earth, after learning about the colossus on Remnant, both Max and Maddie had assembled a team to deal with the colossus that had appeared there. Ben, Rex, Pearl, Amethyst and Aang were ready to leave. "Right, are the five of you ready?"
"You know it Maxie." Amethyst said with a smirk.
Aang gave a simple nod, while Ben and Rex had that look in their eyes to let them know that they were ready. Pearl was spinning around her bladed spear before it disappeared. "Bring them on."
Star meanwhile was pouting. "I don't get it, why don't I get to go!"
"Because, it's dangerous, plus if something happens here then we don't want to be outnumbered. So we need you here."
Max looked to the five of them. "Alright, now listen. Remnant isn't part of our jurisdiction, but since the colossuses are our problem, all bets are off. "
"Got it." Rex exclaimed.
"I got a question, what if the colossus is unbeatable like the last one." Aang asked.
"Then I'll use Alien X as a last resort!" Ben said in a serious tone. "June is there and where ever this colossus is, she hopefully will be there."
An alarm went off on Stacy's computer, notifying her that a colossus had appeared on Remnant. "Whatever you guys are planning, you better do it now! The colossus is there."
"Hekapoo, it's up to you." Aang said.
"Whatever you say." Hekapoo takes her split dimensional scissors and cuts an orange portal. The five of them jump through while Hekapoo stays behind.
"I'll keep track of them so long in case they need a way back." Stacy said.
"Good plan." Maddie commented. "Right now, we just have to wait and hope that they can pull it off."
Unknown Location, Black Providence HQ
Black Knight had walked to the hangar of the HQ and she saw that the three colossuses that they captured were standing still, ready to be deployed at any time.
She finds Christiana was standing looking outside at the mountains which was where their HQ was based. "You," Black Knight called. "What is our next move? We haven't done anything since the acquisition of the colossuses."
"Patience, Black." Christiana said. "You should know that Malevolence is on the move. the colossuses should only be used as a last resort. Maltruant is still out there and if he gains control of even of of our colossuses, we lose."
"Very well, but why can't we use them to destroy all our enemies now. Nothing in this timeline can beat them."
"Once again, you are not thinking ahead. I want to make sure that all threats are out of the way before be decide to pull that trigger, threats like Malevolence and Maltruant. We don't need an intervention from the future to show up and ruin our plans. This isn't the time to act recklessly. So let's keep our cards close to our chest for now."
Black Knight wasn't happy about waiting, but she figured that Christiana knew what she was doing. Before long Future Candace in her ninja suit showed up and looked to Christiana. "You called for me?"
"I need you for a very important job, the both of you actually. I have reason to believe that Malevolence will be arriving on the planet of Remnant. It is there where we will ambush and hopefully take him out for good."
Black Knight smirked. "So we're finally going to take him on huh?"
"Don't think it will be easy. Malevolence isn't a push over, and I can be sure he had acquired new abilities since he escaped from the Null Void. It is also likely that he had absorbed other powers from other sources as well."
Future Candace tightly clenched her fists. "He is another threat. I will take him out and anyone else who gets in my way."
"That's what I wanted to hear…" Christiana opened a portal that would take them to Remnant. "So let's cause some chaos." The three walked through the portal. Watching them leave was Heidi and her eyes had shone green and the sounds of Nanites were heard. She then left the hangar section of the base.
Remnant, Vale
Beacon Academy
Outside the walls of Beacon Academy, the eight foot tall colossus was still attacking the students, while doing that it was looking for threats that threatened its existence. The HUD of the colossus was scanning the building and it saw through the walls of the Beacon Tower and a targeting sigil locked onto a target inside the building, the face of Professor Ozpin showed on the display. Black text appeared on the HUD that read. 'TARGET LOCATED. PERFORMING ELIMINATION PROTOCOL'
The boosters on the colossus activated and it made its way towards Beacon Tower. Weiss saw where it was going and she raised her rapier Myrtenaster and spun the revolver-like chamber on it. She aimed her rapier to the sky and a large white circle with what looked like a snowflake design in the middle, appeared in front of the colossus. It crashed right through the glyph and Weiss collapsed to her right knee due to how easily it passed through her glyph. Soon it looked down at Weiss with its orange eyes. Twin blasters rose from the wrists and before it could fire green blasts to her, June quickly grabbed her and rolled so the blast would avoid them.
"Well it seems you got its attention…" June stated…
"Now what? My glyphs couldn't even slow this thing."
June glared at the colossus as it hovered above the ground, suddenly four of its now eleven blasters attached themselves to the pack on the back of the colossus and they aimed at June and Weiss.
Weiss quickly made a glyph in front of her and June and they were both blasted and they rolled back. Before the colossus could take another step, bright yellow explosive blasts exploded near the head area. It turned and saw Yang discharging explosive, shotgun-like blasts with her bright yellow gauntlets, Ember Celica. "Over here!" Yang exclaimed trying to distract the large automaton. Lie Ren was distracting it as well by firing rapid fire dust rounds from his machine pistols, StormFlower.
June was slowly getting up and saw the colossus attacking both Yang and Ren, with the both of them managing to avoid its lasers, which were being fired from its back and wrists.
"I don't get it, nothing we do it affecting this thing." June said. Suddenly she saw something in her peripheral vision and she was met with the sight of Malevolence who was casually walking towards Beacon Tower. "W-what… you!?"
Malevolence turned around. "Oh hi again, it's been a while."
June glared at him and she started to sprint towards him. "H-hey get back here!" Weiss called out. June was surrounded by a white aura and threw a punch, but Malevolence covered himself in a bright red spherical barrier.
"Settle down will you? Due to popular belief, I'm not here for you."
"Oh course not, but you're here for a reason, and whatever that it. I'm going to stop you!" she declared as the white aura around her died. "You made a mistake coming here!"
Malevolence laughed. "Haha, you think so?" he lifted up his right hand, revealing that his palm had half the Butterfly wand pendant in it, and that he was missing a finger.
"Ugh… what happened to you hand?" She asked while she backed away, sounding disgusted.
Before she could get an answer, Malevolence's eyes were glowing bright green. "Why don't I show you child." He replied in a different voice, indicating that Toffee had taken over. A green blast was fired to her. She managed to dodge it, but only narrowly.
"Seriously, that's all you got?" June put her hand into her fist. "I'm going to enjoy this, I've been waiting for you to show your face, and now here you are." She ran forward while she screamed a battle cry.
Mal-Toffee's eyes stopped glowing green and a red armored hood grew over his head and his eyes were covered by a three grilled visor. His skin turned orange and he ran forward to intercept June. Both of their fists collided and it made a tremendous shockwave that shook the entire area. Mal-Toffee's punch was stronger and June was sent sliding back. This allowed Mal-Toffee to fly towards her to strike her again.
June was wise to this however and she grabbed his right arm and she slammed him onto his back. After that she still had hold of his arm and she spun him around very quickly and she tossed him straight up into the air. June's white aura flared up again and she leaped up and reached Mal-Toffee who was still flying up into the sky. June released a barrage of punches and kicks to the limp body of Mal-Toffee. She even punched him in the face so many times that the visor that covered his eyes had shattered.
She then kicked him down using both feet and Mal-Toffee hit the ground very hard and he grinded to a halt as he was shaking, trying to get to his knees. June landed a distance from him. "I'm ending this!" she leaped forward to him and punched him on the back of his head and while he looked down she kicked him onto his back. Her aura flared up again and grabbed him by his throat and lifted him up with one arm. "This ends now! I'm going to do what no one else is willing to do. I'll end your life, right here and now!" she continued to try to crush his throat and Mal-Toffee sounded like he was choking.
But suddenly Mal-Toffee looked to her with a bored expression. "Are you finished?" his horns blasted a bright red electric pulse to June and she rolled backwards and got to one knee and glared at Mal-Toffee while her right palm was on the ground. "Did you honestly expect to kill me with just that? Really!? Listen, I was just humouring you." He said as both Malevolence and Toffee's voices were being heard. "I wanted to see how much stronger you've grown, but it turns out you're just weaker…? What's the matter? No life force today?" they asked. "You had no problems with using it before so why now?" they laughed.
"What's so funny!?" June asked.
"I'm laughing at the fact that you even thought you were a challenge. You couldn't beat me, not even in your wildest dreams, haha." June could only glare at Mal-Toffee but she knew that he was right; she could only do so much. She didn't even have the life force to help her because Christiana sealed it. Mal-Toffee was playing with her, and there was nothing she could do to change that fact. "Oh, there's that glare again, just what are you going to do this time? Hehe, you look like you're about to cry."
June screamed and ran towards Mal-Toffee; some droplets of tears escaped her eyelids as she got closer and closer to him. "That's what I was expecting." His eyes shone bright green again; he threw his right hand forward and made a bright green energy chain with a claw grab June's midsection and she was dragged closer to him. His left hand grabbed her arm and she was dangling above him. "You're nothing to me, and I'll prove that to you…" a bright green energy blade shot out from his right palm.
Right when June thought she had met her end, a storm of rose petals freed her from Mal-Toffee's grip and a slashing sound was heard as well.
While June was sat down, she looked in front of her and saw that Ruby stood with her back facing June. Crescent Rose was tightly gripped with her hands.
"R-ruby?" June said.
"You okay?" she asked, turning to face her.
"I-I think…"
"Good, I got to you just in time then."
They both saw that Mal-Toffee was missing his hand and he glared at both of the girls. "Oh, you have no idea who you are messing with, child." Suddenly his wrist started to regenerate and his hand grew back and he moved the fingers around before his bones clicked as he formed a fist with the new hand.
"I'm gonna wish I never saw that…" Ruby remarked. "So who is this guy?"
"The most powerful person you'll ever meet." June answered while getting to her feet.
"Aww, you flatter me." Malevolence said.
"Ruby, you need to get out of here, he's too strong. He'll kill you."
"That doesn't mean I'll leave you here to get killed."
"Why…? I mean we've barely even hung out. Heck I barely know you."
"So, that won't stop me. Plus, we're huntresses, saving people is kind of what we do." She said with a smile.
June couldn't help but smile back at her after hearing her response. It only reminded her of Ben and how similar she was to him. And if she was anything like Ben, she wasn't going to just leave her against someone like Malevolence.
She sighed. "Alright, try to keep up." June ran forward while Ruby stood, she aimed her scythe backwards and shot a dust round that shot her torward Mal-Toffee. Having not fought Ruby before he was completely shocked when she was right in front of him, he quickly generated red armour on his wrists but they completely shattered when the blade of crescent rose slashed right through them.
"What are y-" he was punched in the gut thanks to Ruby distraction. He flew up and looked down at both of them. "Don't mess with me!" he shot down towards Ruby. She jumped back as Mal-Toffee's fist hit the ground. He then made a second set of muscular arms grow from the sides of his midsection. He stood up and his gold eyes were covered by a bright green glow.
"Uh June… what exactly is he?" Ruby asked.
"That's complicated, how about I explain to you after we beat him."
Mal-Toffee started laughing. "You actually think you can beat me? Well lets you try…" the voice shifted to Toffee's as he took full control. He then generated an energy blade from his right hand. Ruby started sprinting to him and she swung Crescent Rose, only it made contact with Toffee's energy blade. Their exchange continued with Ruby trying to slice him but Toffee was easily able to block her strikes. "You're annoyingly persistent." He said with an angry tone. While he and Ruby were locked in a stalemate, he kept his eyes open for June, but he couldn't see her. "Where did you g-" he continued to block Ruby's slashes and she quickly spun in place, making a whirlwind that obscured his vision. All he could see in front of him were large amounts of dust and rose petals
While he couldn't see, June took advantage and she kicked Mal-Toffee in the shin and this made him buckle down on the hurt knee. June's aura flared up and she threw her fists to his face and chest. She then round house kicked him in the face. The whirlwind ended and once he Mal-Toffee got up and he saw Ruby aiming her weapon in its rifle form. He was getting hit with dust rounds and he was recoiling as they crashed against his body.
"ENOUGH!" Mal-Toffee exclaimed and he aimed his right hand and the pendant glowed green and he fired an energy chain with a claw at the end. When it got close to Ruby, June ran in front of her and grabbed the energy claw.
"Gotcha!" June pulled Mal-Toffee towards her. "Now Ruby!" Ruby ran forward with rose petals following her, she sliced right through his right arm and it fell on the ground. "Keep shooting at him, I'm going to finish him off before he regenerates."
Ruby saluted. "Got it!" she folded her scythe into its rifle form and started to shoot at Mal-Toffee who was on his knees.
June rushed forward but he made a bright red forcefield that made her recoil back. As the dust rounds bounced off the forcefield, the detached arm flew back to Mal-Toffee and it went through the forcefield and re-attached itself to him. "Alright, you girls had your fun… but I have a Maiden to absorb."
"What's he talking about?" Ruby asked.
"No clue… but why does that sound familiar." Suddenly Mal-Toffee was surrounded by an orange flaring aura.
"Remember this power?"
June gasped. "Oh no, that's the life force." Mal-Toffee smirked before the orange aura turned pure white and Ruby ran towards him while flipping crescent rose back to its scythe mode. "No Ruby, wait!" She leaped up but Mal-Toffee quickly caught her wrist and he used his free hand to knock her attack scythe from her hand. Suddenly she was pummelled by three fists while she was held up. Ruby was thrown back and landed on her back.
"Ruby!" before she could move a beam froze her legs in crystal.
"No, no. You stay right there and watch…"
Mal-Toffee menacingly walked to her. "So… what to do…?" he then made an energy blade extend from his right hand, "It will have to do…"
June tried freeing herself from her crystal restraints. "NO! It's me you want, Ruby has nothing to do with all this!"
"Haha, that just makes it all the more better."
June was struggling to get free and Mal-Toffee quickly grabbed Ruby's cape so she wouldn't get away. June quickly surrounded herself in a white aura but it wasn't enough to break the crystal. "DON'T TOUCH HER!" the triangular seal that was on top of her right hand opened its previously closed eye and suddenly a bright orange, fiery aura surrounded her and the crystal cracked before it shattered. The white aura of her semblance was the outside layer of June's power boost. She leaped to Mal-Toffee and managed to free Ruby from his grasp.
"Oh now you-" June quickly blasted a bright white energy beam that engulfed him and he grinded into the dirt.
The power quickly faced and the eye of the triangle closed its eye, re-sealing her powers. Both June and Ruby were covered by red pulsing sheens because their auras were almost depleted. "R-ruby are you alright…?"
"Ugh...I'll live." She cheerfully said while getting to her knees.
"Oh no…" June said as she saw Mal-Toffee getting up. "Why won't this guy go down!?"
"Because I have much bigger goals than dealing with the two of you," The half star pendant shone bright green.
June got to her feet and looked back at Ruby after protectively standing in front of her. "Stay down Ruby!"
Suddenly a large bright green beam was fired toward both girls and it engulfed them. Both of them screamed while they stood close to each other. While it engulfed them, the crystal in June's pocket was shining bright.
Mal-Toffee stopped firing and he looked to Beacon tower. "Those two should be done for now." He walked to Beacon Tower where his prize was waiting.
Danwood, Plumber HQ
Future Star was flipping the pages through her self-made time journal. "I can't make sense of this!" she whispered to herself. Her younger self, snuck over her shoulder.
"Whatcha doin'?" Star asked in a sing-song voice.
"Gah!" Future Star exclaimed before getting over her shock. "D-don't do that!"
"Sorry… so what is that?"
"You wouldn't understand." She coldly replied.
"Well that's rude, since… well I am you."
Future Star closed the book. "Listen to me Star." She started, in a serious tone. "As far as things go, I'm not sure how this will end."
"So what? We'll just kick the butts of everyone who get in our way!" Star said while making karate poses behind her.
Future Star sighed. "Like I said, you just don't understand."
Star then ran in front of her. "Then make me understand! You're me from the future! Do you have any idea what that means?"
"Yes." She answered. "I can warn you of future dangers, like pop quizzes and monster attacks among other things."
"Man, you're no fun at all are you…? No offence, but I hope I don't turn out as gloomy as you."
Future Star had a depressed look on her face as she looked forward. "Me too… because if you've seen all the stuff I've seen…" tears were falling down her face. "Sorry, I can't talk about this. Listen Star, if I am in a situation when I tell you to run away from something, you run! Got it?"
"Is that a warning?"
"Like I said, I don't know how this will end. But should anything happen, you run, run as fast as you can and don't look back. No matter what you hear, just get as far away as you can."
"B-but I can't leave-"
"Star… please…" her future-self pleaded. "You need to listen to me on this…" she said with a soft but serious tone. Star knew that something big might be happening, and her Future Self didn't want her to see it. "Promise me…"
Star looked into her Future Self's eyes and she noticed something in them. Fear, dread, but most prevalent, sadness. So Star really only had one choice to make, if anything she could use it as an opportunity to cheer up her older self.
"I promise…" Star promised.
A sigh of relief escaped future Star's lips. "Thank you…" she then gave Star a very faint smile.
Marco watched their exchange but he didn't hear what they were saying, but after seeing Future Star's concerned face and her tears, he got worried.
Remnant, Vale
Beacon Academy
"Ugh… what happened?" a female voice asked.
"Hmm… I don't know… but everything hurts…" oddly enough the response came from the same voice.
The source of the voice opened their eyes and looked up at the cloudy sky covering Vale. The faces of Weiss, Yang and Blake was looking down at the figure, their faces showed shock, intrigue, and surprise.
"Why are you looking at me like that? Do I have something on my face, Yang?"
"Hmm, you could say that…" Yang replied.
"Wait… who are you?" Weiss asked.
"It's me Ruby…Seriously, you don't recognize me? I'm June remember… Wait… What did I just say!?"
"Hold on… Ruby and June…?" Blake questioned.
"What are you talking ab-" Crescent Rose was picked up and the figure looked at the reflection and as soon as she saw her reflection she screamed and flinched. She had fair coloured skin with an almost flat nose. She had shining sliver eyes. Her hair stretched down to the middle of her back and red highlights were seen through the dark hair. There was a long stripe of hair that was coloured white and it stretched down from top to bottom. She had a black v-neck short-sleeved shirt with a red juniper flower on the front of it, with a bracelet housing a purple crystal on it. Below her torso was a black skirt with a red trim, a silver rose brooch hanging from a grey coloured belt. She had black stockings with black combat boots. Finally there was a red, hooded cape that ran down her back. "Whoa…I look like June! No Ruby? Wait… WHERE ARE YOU!?"
"It's both of you." Blake replied. "You're both Ruby and Juniper… Almost like you fused…"
"Huh!?" the fused girl touched her upper chest and she felt a red crystal there, it slightly stuck out from her shirt. "What is this?"
Yang quickly shook her. "WHO CARES ABOUT THAT!? Where's my sister!?"
"I'm still here… I think…?"
"This is too weird." Weiss remarked. "How did this happen!?"
"I don't know… but this is soooo cool! I look so cool! And my hair is so bouncy!" she exclaimed and was waving her hair and the rest of team RWBY looked on in confusion. She suddenly gasped. "Malevolence!" she sped to the three girls. "Did you see someone weird passing by?"
"You mean, besides you?" Weiss said.
"Hey! Don't poke the bear Weiss!" the fusion said pointing to her. "Whoa… I'm a lot taller now…" she noticed. She shook her head and regained her focus. "Y-yeah… Malevolence… you see any weird looking guy pass by?"
"Besides these monsters and… that." Yang jerked her thumb to the colossus that many of the students and faculty were holding back. "By the way, if you're really June and my sister fused… what should we call you?"
"Juniby!" she blurted out. "No… how about… Rubiper…" the fusion shook her head and picked up Crescent Rose. "We don't have time for this!"
"Well at least we can tell them apart." Weiss noted as it wasn't hard to tell whether it was June or Ruby that was speaking through the fusion.
"What about Rune." Blake suggested. "Short and sweet."
Suddenly one of the blasters that were on the colossus shot a green ray to the four girls, The fusion reacted quickly as she leaped towards the beam with Crescent Rose in her hands. She deflected the explosive beam with the blade of her scythe.
"Rune… huh?" the fusion said. "Thanks Blake!" the colossus launched the blaster off of its circular pack. Rune shot up and towards the blaster and effortlessly sliced through it with her scythe. "Whoa, I'm even faster now… It's like I instantly thought of slicing it, then I am a second later!" she said reducing the colossus to ten blasters
She noticed that the colossus was glaring at her. It showed Rune's face and its HUD showed a message that read: 'UNKNOWN THREAT DETECTED'
Rune folded Crescent Rose into its carry mode and she cracked her fists. "Okay you fusion… thing… let's dance!" she leaped up from the ground and was speeding for the head and the boosters of the colossus ignited as its attention was focused on Rune.
Elsewhere an orange portal opened, stepping out of it was the team of Ben, Aang, Rex, Pearl and Amethyst. They had safely arrived on Remnant.
"Hmm, so this is Remnant." Pearl noted.
Suddenly a very black bear with white bone armour was rushing to them. Rex quickly punched the beast with his smackhands. After it bounced back it growled before rushing back. Pearl summoned her bladed staff and she gracefully leaped up and impaled the beast's back and Aang quickly jumped and when his right foot hit the ground, pillars of earth sped to the black bear and it hit the beast. It tried getting up but Amethyst's whip wrapped around the torso of the creature. Ben transformed into Eye Guy, right after the green flash surrounded him, three green lasers fired at the beast. After the lasers went through, the black bear disappeared into smoke.
"Man, what was that?" Amethyst asked.
"Probably the many beasts that roam this planet," Pearl guessed. "But that monster wasn't that hard to beat."
Before long they were surrounded by a pack of beowolves, each one of them waiting for the right moment to pounce on them, "You gotta be kidding me." Rex said. He switched from his smackhands to his omega fun-chucks. "Alright, who wants some!?" he angrily asked.
"We have no time for this!" Ben as Eye Guy said and he shot six green beams in all directions which killed some of them, as they turned to smoke.
"Doesn't look like we have a choice," Amethyst said as her whip wrapped around the muzzle of the Beowolf and it was dragged to the others as she spun in a circle.
Aang was blowing them back but one quickly leaped up behind him. Before he could intervene, a red and orange javelin impaled it. The large Grimm collapsed, turning into smoke after its demise. Aang picked up the slightly hefty weapon. "Uh, does this belong to one of you?"
"My apologies…" Aang turned to see the red haired warrior, Pyrrha Nikos. She tossed her shield in order to stun a beowolf that was approaching Aang from behind. "That is mine, are you okay? A child like you shouldn't be out here."
"I can handle myself." Aang proved his point by blowing back an approaching beowolf just from blowing a huge gust of wind from his mouth. He then forced back a line of five grimm by making a tall earth wall that stopped their progress.
"How remarkable, is that part of your semblance?"
"I uh… have no idea what you're talking about…"
Before long they all heard what sounded like maniacal laughter. The orange haired girl Nora Valkyrie looked to be falling from the sky and landed on close to where Pearl and Amethyst were standing. The first part of her to hit the ground was her very long hammer, and once it hit the ground, an explosive shockwave was sent through the ground sending the Grimm upwards for brief seconds. "Whoa!" Amethyst said in awe. "Where can I get one of those?"
"Focus Amethyst!" Pearl said as the grimm landed back on the ground, dazed from what had happened earlier.
"Huh? Who are you two?" Nora asked.
"Uh, how about we explain that after we survive this battle!"
Nora laughed. "Don't worry; this won't take longer than five minutes!"
Amethyst grinned to her. "That's nothing! I can do this in two minutes."
Nora grinned evilly. "Is that a challenge?"
"Oh you better believe it, but you're not going to win, so there is no point."
"Ha, Challenge Accepted. I'll take out more Grimm than you!"
"We'll just see about that." Amethyst immediately curled up and spun like a wheel to one of the beowolves and dazed it before she used her whip to toss it off and into the water. "That's one!" she looked back to see Nora bashing the skulls of two beowolves and she dragged her right eyelid down while she stuck her tongue out at the purple gem. "Oh it is on!"
Rex had defeated another Beowolf but suddenly a portal opened and walking out of it was a scorpion-like Grimm with a golden glowing stinger. This one was different as its black exoskeleton was covered by bone-like armored plating. "Alright, time to clean house!" he built his Big Fat Sword and the long orange blade shone before Rex shot forward, the Death Stalker blocked his sword strike with one of his pincers that was surprisingly durable. "Or maybe not…" Its eyes shone red and it threw the golden stinger forward. Rex jumped back from the attack, but when the stinger hit the ground. Rex was blown back and rolled before stopping quickly.
A figure dressed in green ran past him and he was firing green dust rounds onto the creature's carapace. "Go for its stinger, that's a weak spot." Ren told Rex.
Asking no questions, the EVO generated his Boogie pack and he took off and while in the air, his right hand turned to the BFS and he sped back to the Death Stalker. Ren kept it distracted and Rex managed to completely slice the stinger off, causing it to fall to the ground. He wasn't done though as he flew back up, above the Death Stalker and he switched to his smackhands. He dropped back down to his target and when he was fully in free fall he spun the right fist like a drill, sending the fist through the bone armor. He quickly switched to his sword and jabbed it right through the exposed part, instantly killing it. The fallen creature instantly turned to smoke.
Ren walked to him. "You're not from around here, are you?"
"Depends… Can I trust you?"
Ren quickly decapitated the head of a fast approaching beowolf and both the head and body turned to smoke. "I think I should be asking that question, but for now let's focus on them!"
Rex glared towards the approaching Ursa. "Agreed…"
Ben had blasted frozen a couple more beowolves before the omnitrix on his chest started beeping. 'Corrupted DNA detected, Omnitrix functions disabled…' after that message the Omnitrix shut down Ben's transformation,
"What… are you kidding me!?" he exclaimed. The corrupted DNA was detected from a wild boar Grimm. It looked like a boar with four red eyes, it had the typical Grimm bone armaments on its face. The tusks were, long, curved and sharp. Its red eyes were locked onto Ben. "Uh… nice… uh whatever you are." The Grimm growled and it started to curl and it spin-dashed towards Ben.
"AHHH!" Ben looked behind him and saw a blonde teen running towards the four eyed boar. He had a shield in front of him while he held a sword in his right hand. He crashed into the beast shield first which staggered him back.
Jaune yelled again, trying to slash past the Boarbatusk but it knocked his sword out of his hand. Ben meanwhile was trying to activate the omnitrix. "C'mon, work you stupid thing!"
"Uh, I'm pretty sure now is the worst time to be checking your watch!" Jaune remarked as he was rammed by the Boarbatusk. The Grimm turned its attention to Ben and shot forward but a ball of fire crashed into its face, forcing it to step back. This distraction allowed for Pyrrha to throw her javelin, right through the body of the Grimm.
"Jaune are you alright?" Pyrrha asked running to him.
"Oh I'm fine, apart from my bruised ego." He said.
Amethyst was seen killing a Boarbatusk by squeezing it with her whip. "That's six!" she exclaimed.
"Eight!" Nora cheerily yelled.
"Oh come on!" Amethyst shape shifted into her Purple Puma form and let out a low scream. "WHO WANTS SOME!?"
"You're friend's semblance is… odd?" Pyrrha said after seeing Amethyst transform.
"Forget about that." Ben said. "Just tell me one thing… Where is Juniper Lee?"
Elsewhere, Mal-Toffee was inside Beacon Academy and he was making his way to the elevator. "Ha, this was too easy." He then sees ten soldiers running to him. They wore black, sliver and blue armor. They all had helmets over their faces and only their mouths could be seen. "Listen I'm not here for you. I just have to get to the basement and I'll be on my way."
"Stand down!" one of the soldiers said. "Get on the ground now!"
"You don't want to do this. I'm telling you, it will end really badly… for you." They all still aimed their rifles at Mal-Toffee and they didn't stand down, at Mal-Toffee's request. "Alright… I gave you fair warning!" the corrupted Butterfly pendant shone and he stretched out a bright green energy blade that struck the lead soldier in the heart, instantly killing him. He threw his lifeless husk to the side of the hall.
"OPEN FIRE!" all the remaining Atleasan Soldiers opened fire on Mal-Toffee who turned around. His black cape was protecting him from taking damage. He then made a red electromagnetic ball float above his hand.
"You only have yourselves to blame. I gave you an out!" he slammed the red electro ball into the ground, making a tremendous electromagnetic shockwave that spread through all the Atlesian Soldiers. They were all collapsed on the ground, convulsing from the electric shock. "Hmm, pathetic… if you're going to build an army, at least make sure your grunts are up to the task."
He heard the sound of a gun click; it sounded like a revolver. "Oh seriously!?" he heard the gun fire and while he shifted his cape to block it, the force of the bullet was enough to make him fall to his knee. "Okay, who's the dead man who made that mistake?" He had seen someone who was dressed in a white, formal military uniform, even his hands were covered with white gloves. "I'll assume you're the General of these… weakling grunts…" The person aiming the weapon was a middle aged man with light skin; he had clean, short black hair with the sides being grey. He had a serious look about him. "Listen, you will die if you choose to fight me, so make the smart decision and walk away."
"Who are you and why are you here?" the man asked.
"OH isn't that the million dollar question… actually I think you people use lien here… anyway… I'm not going to be the predictable villain and tell you my plan. That would be way too easy… though if you're a smart man I'm sure you'll figure it out." Another round was fired and it hit Mal-Toffee's shoulder and he slid back from the force of the bullet. His skin turned Tamaranian orange and he got back up. "Now that is just rude, you expect me to reveal my plans and you want even introduce yourself."
Before the man could fire another shot, a purple vortex appeared in between them and walking out was Christiana, Black Knight and Future Candace who was in her Ninja Suit. Christiana was still in her human disguise as she hid her blue coloured skin.
"And so the plot thickens!" Mal-Toffee said. "Christiana, boy it has been a while hasn't it? I suppose you've come crawling back."
She chuckled. Before looking at the man who engaged Mal-Toffee, "That will be all James Ironwood, make sure that Ozpin locks the Vault." She said.
"What is going on!?" he asked, not taking his aim off Mal-Toffee.
"Trust me James… I will hold him off, now warn Ozpin!" James obviously knew something was up with her but if he really was trying to get to the vault, then it was important that he let Ozpin know.
"I am not waiting!" Future Candace said as she threw a smokebomb on the ground and immediately the hallway was filled with smoke. "If I were you, I'd listen to her old man!"
Ironwood managed to slip away and Future Candace ran at Mal-Toffee and tried to get a cheap slash in but it was blocked by a bright green energy blade. The smoke was starting to clear and he saw Future Candace jumping back and away from him. "I'm sorry have we met?"
"You won't live long enough to figure the answer."
"Ease up." Christiana said extending her arm in front of her.
"So you've got a rough ninja girl, and Black Knight on your side… so what are you planning? Do you want to rule alongside me?"
Christiana laughed. "Yes because things went so well the last time… Listen here, we are not on the same side. I am here to eliminate you from the equation. You are a being that is aiming to rule over the infinite universe, maybe even the multiverse if you could."
"So? Got a problem with that?"
"Yes… you see things are different now. More heroes, more villains, it seems like everyone and their mother wants to conquer something. The problem is, there can only be one true leader of the cosmos… you are too unstable, you would kill your allies for no apparent reason. So understand, it is my responsibility put you down so that the multiverse doesn't fall into ruin."
"So you basically want to rule the universe, is what you're saying? Well too bad, because once I absorb the powers of the Fall Maiden, I will be that closer to being unstoppable."
Christiana chuckled. "See, you have grown too powerful to be allowed to exist. It won't be long before you are stopped."
Mal-Toffee laughed before Toffee took full control. "What makes you think you can stop me?"
Black Knight generated a shorter version of Rex's BFS that was made completely out of purple energy. Future Candace had Ninja balls in between her fingers. Christiana grabbed her whip and she let the end of it fall to the floor. "Your move Malevolence… or do you go by Toffee now."
Both Malevolence and Toffee were laughing and both their voices could be heard at the same time, making the scene uneasy and ominous. "Haha, well just call me Mal-Toffee." They both said.
"Fine… Mal-Toffee… your path of destruction ends here!"
"Oh no… not even close because my path of destruction goes through the three of you," he generated his second set of arms and he shot bright green lasers from his eyes, instantly dazing Future Candace as she rolled back. Black Knight went forward but Mal-Toffee turned intangible for a second, using Omnitraxus' power. He grabbed her face with his left palm and Black Knight was shot back with a powerful torrent of water. "Haha, this is too easy!" he looked to Christiana. "So are you ready to come back yet."
She smirked. "Luckily, I've been preparing to face you…" he whip was surrounded by a red energy.
"I'd like to see you tr-" before he could finish his sentence he was tossed around the hallway, he crashed into the walls and the ceiling several times.
"I can do this all day, Mal-Toffee, now stand down." she said tossing him around using her power of telekinesis. She had only used her fingers.
She dropped him on his stomach and the sadistic fusion was laughing. "So you have indeed gotten stronger." Suddenly Mal-Toffee began to multiply and he formed a circle of doubles that surrounded her. "Just give up, Christiana, you can't beat me…"
Christiana chuckled before her tone became serious. "Nice try Emerald Sustrai, but your tricks won't work on me." she cracked her whip and suddenly the fake Mal-Toffee's shattered into glass.
They all they heard footsteps that were coming from the hall behind Christiana, Black Knight, and Future Candace. "You've managed to see right through Emerald's semblance… I'm impressed."
Christiana rolled her eyes. "Please, anyone with a sharp enough mind could have seen through it, humans are simple creatures to manipulate."
She looked at the three new figures that stared them down. The one in the middle was the same girl that was spying on June during her time at Beacon; she wore an elegant, maroon, off the shoulder dress that ended above her knees with a feather-like accessory at her hip. Her dress had bright yellow accents on it that almost looked like they were glowing, below that were high heeled shoes. She had medium long dark hair that fell over her left shoulder and partially covered her left eye, her eyes were ember coloured. She had a black tattoo on her upper back that looked like two high heeled shoes that were placed sole to sole, forming what resembled a heart.
"Cinder Fall, I thought you weren't going to acquire the Maiden's power until…" Christiana looked at her wrist like she had a watch. "The Vytal Festival…"
"Considering the chaos going on outside, there isn't a better time, than now. But how did you figure it out…"
"There is a lot of stuff you don't know Cinder… stuff that I'm sure someone as sadistic as you couldn't even stomach."
The young woman standing next to Cinder had medium brown skin, dark red eyes and odd mint-green hair with a straight fringe and bangs with two long locks on each side. She wore a white top with an olive crop-top covering her chest. She had grey armbands on her left upper arm. Below that she wore white pants with brown chaps that end at her calves. Her weapons which appeared to be twin revolvers that were coloured dark green.
On the opposite side of Cinder was a young man who was pale, had gray eyes and was well built. He had shot grey hair that was slicked back, but the front was unkempt. He wore a slate grey and black zip jacket that covered his upper body. He wore simple black pants and shoes.
"You shut up!" she mint haired girl said. "Who are you supposed to be anyway?"
"You don't want me answering that question Sustrai; your mind wouldn't comprehend it anyway. But seeing as we are outnumbered…" she outstretched her hand and a purple portal appeared. Walking out of it was Alpha and he had a serious expression. "Right, Alpha… we have work to do."
"As you wish…" He communicated to the Gamma Nanite inside him and he built a large energy cannon which charged a red beam and he shot it to the grey haired young man which sent him flying across the hall.
"Finish off Mercury. We're on the clock." Alpha generated his turbine pack and propelled himself through the hall to fight against Mercury. Emerald was shocked but Cinder was glaring right at Christiana. "You have no idea of the forces you're up against."
Cinder smirked when she eyed Christiana. "Neither do you…"
Mal-Toffee simply watched the two teams stare each other down and Christiana sighed. "Well we've already made enemies around the universe. What is three more?" Future Candace tossed silver and purple accented Ninja Rings to Emerald who quickly deflected them with her revolvers. Her fingers moved down to the triggers and started firing. Future Candace took out her short sword and she was blocking the bullets as she moved her arm extremely fast.
"She's mine…" she said before dashing to Emerald.
Black Knight replaced her right arm with a bright purple, energy cannon and shot an energy blast to Cinder. "You want the Maiden; you'll have to go through us."
Cinder smirked while she raised her right hand. "Fine… then." Flames appeared above Cinder's palm. Though BK was quick to blast her, the bright purple energy blast was blocked by an invisible energy that Cinder produced just by outstretching her hand. BK decided to switch to close combat and she summoned her plasma version of the BFS and when she ran to slice Cinder. Her attack was blocked as Cinder looked to have conjured a single charcoal coloured blade that was made of glass. However BK's plasma blade completely sliced through it, forcing Cinder to step back. After the glass blade shattered Cinder unleashed a burst of fire that struck BK, it only forced her back however.
"Don't make me laugh! You'll never hope to beat me!" Black exclaimed as her plasma blade continued to shine brightly. "As good as you are, you'll never hope to beat a powerful EVO like me." Cinder's eyes had flames in them as the gold accents on her outfit started glowing. She summoned her glass blades, only she dual-wielded them and she allowed BK to come to her. She managed to her block the slash from the plasma blade but both her weapons shattered, she leaped in the air and she made the glass shards of her weapons rise with her as they glowed fiery red. After hitting the ground she summoned a charcoal grey, glass bow and two arrows made of the same material. The very second she released the arrows, the glass shards from her weapon fired and they shot towards Black Knight.
She quickly constructed her plasma whip that ended with a spiked ball with her left hand, she was trying to parry the glass projectiles that were thrown at her. While she deflected some of them, she was scratched and impaled by some of them. BK rose to her feet as Cinder condescendingly looked down at her. "Hmm, so you're not as bad as I thought. Defeating you will be even more satisfying."
Cinder smirked. "Well then I'd look behind you." Black decided to humor her and after turning she saw Mal-Toffee about to impale her with his bright green energy blade. She gasped and stepped back.
There was a loud, metal hitting metal sound, Black Knight turned and saw that Future Candace protected her from a decisive attack from Emerald who had the blades from her revolvers retracted in a sickle-like mode.
"That was a mind trick!" Future Candace said before she jumped back and got her and Black Knight separated from Emerald and Cinder. "Using cheap tricks to get the upper hand, I'll make sure that you are defeated right here and now."
Christiana looked to Mal-Toffee who was trying to get ear wax out of his ear. "Well, I suppose we must fight now. The Maiden is coming with me; neither you nor Cinder will get to her."
Mal-Toffee laughed. "Look at you, you have your own villain alliance and everything… but maybe I need to remind you who is top dog around here." His eyes shone green, which meant that Toffee prepared to unleash an attack.
Outside, the colossus was still causing trouble as it was moving towards Beacon Tower. "OVER HERE!?" the body turned to see Ruby and June's fusion leaping to slice it with Ruby's weapon. The colossus pulled out a bright purple beam saber and it clashed with the scythe and Rune was thrown back by the force. She slid back on her feet after rolling back once. "This isn't good…" she said to herself. "Where did this thing even come from?"
Before long the dimensional distortion continued to worsen as many beasts from the Null Void appeared. And even one male Way Bad had come through a huge portal. It towered over everyone in its path and it roared loudly.
"Okay, we're dead." Yang said.
The colossus looked up to the Way Bad and its HUD examined it. 'MAJOR THREAT ENTITY, MUTANT TO'KUSTAR. DO NOT ENGAGE.'
The Mutant To'Kustar's presence was so frightening that many of the Grimm that were on the property of Beacon Academy had retreated. Some of them even ran into the many open portals that were still open.
The colossus activated its boosters and made a bee-line for Beacon Tower. So it could take out its intended target.
"Ugh! I got it!" Rune exclaimed and she quickly tailed the fast moving colossus to Beacon Tower.
"Rub- I mean Ju…" Weiss called out but she quickly forgot the fusion's name. "Whoever you are, you better get back in one piece."
"You're worried about her? What about us?" Blake asked.
Glynda stepped in front of the three girls. "You three get back to the school. I will handle-" before she could finish they heard the sound of aircraft engines and they all saw Rex with his smackhands and Boogie Pack equipped. His fist made contact with the face of the To'Kustar and the impact force was so high that it forced it to step back.
Rex was falling but he landed on his feet after deploying his Punk Busters. "That thing's head is harder than it looks."
"W-w-what the…" Weiss stuttered.
"Oh hi, uh no time to really explain but we've got the situation handled."
"What do you mean 'we'?" Blake asked. Her question was immediately answered as two, very large tentacles of water wrapped around the arms of the Way Bad.
Aang who was in the Avatar State was doing his best to pull the colossal creature into the ocean that separated Beacon and Vale. It was managing the out power the water tentacles but not by much. Rex was quick to generate his smackhands but looked at the woman behind him. "You four can help you know!"
Glynda aimed her riding crop at the To'Kustar and it was surrounded by a thick pink outline as Glynda was using her telekinesis to slow it down. Rex flew up and he gave a hard punch to the large beast and this was enough to make it tumble backwards. It roared before it was finally dragged into the water.
Ben looked down at the To'Kustar which was sitting on its butt in the water. He dived in and he activated his omnitrix, he slammed the core and turned into Shocksquatch. Once he was under the water he unleashed a discharge of bright yellow electricity which electrified the water, shocking the Way Bad in the process, defeating it. Once this was done he swam back to the surface and he was lifted out by a water spout, courtesy of Aang.
"Thanks… now let's get some answers." He walked over to Rex, Glynda and what remained of Team RWBY. "Alright, I'm looking for a girl named Juniper Lee. Have you seen her?"
"Excuse me, and who are you?" Glynda demanded.
"I don't have time for this! Tell me or I'll find her myself!"
"Calm down sparky!" Yang said poking at Shocksquatch's chest. "First, who are you and where did you come from. Let's start with that." She said. She couldn't trust him, knowing that Ruby was still fused with June for some weird reason.
Aang sighed. "Where do we start?"
Rex looked around. "Well it looks like the dimensional distortion has calmed down, see we aren't really from here."
"What's that supposed to mean?" Weiss said.
"Off world, that's where we come from." Ben said.
Yang folded her arms. "Alright, I think I know what's going on. Follow me." Yang turned around to walk but she glared at the three of them. "And if I sense for a moment that any of you guys aren't being honest with us…" they saw her lilac eyes turn red for a brief second.
"I think they get the message Yang." Blake said. "But on the way, you three have some explaining to do."
"We'll try our best…" Aang said scratching his head.
Meanwhile a cloaked figure was watching them. "Yes… the Dimensional Distortion is coming to an end here." The cloaked figure said with low voice. "The colossus will be engaged soon, and those fools continue to fight for Amber's powers." He looked as if he was talking to someone in his mind. "I see, I must locate her… Yes with the right incentive I believe she will help us." The cloaked figure turned around. "Understood…" the unknown entity he was talking to was gone before he walked off he said. "Hail Lord Maltruant." He disappeared into maroon smoke, departing to fulfil whatever goal he intends to accomplish.

It's been way too long since I last uploaded an update. Truth be told, I was stuck for months, I wasn't feeling a particular plotline that I tried adding, so I scrapped it and this is the result. The original planned chapter was also supposed to be shorter, but it was too short and I couldn't leave you guys with a short chapter after months of nothing.
