The Being Known As Truth

"Quit playing around and show yourself, Truth"

"T-Truth?"

"HAHAHA YOU ALWAYS LIKED TO RUIN MY FUN YOU GIANT KITTEN"

The being finished shifting and turned it's head towards Kiyome

"HELLO YOUNG AL-CHE-MIST" a giant toothy smile spread across the featureless face.

OoO

Truth unnerved Kiyome, it was unnatural how big its grin was, it almost took up all of its lower face, but that wasn't all, the fact that there was no facial features besides that creepy grin.

"Wh-who are you?" she stuttered as she looked at the being in front of her

"OH I'M SO GLAD YOU ASKED!" the being got quite excited as if it enjoyed answering the question.

"I AM CALLED BY MANY NAMES, I AM THE WORLD, I AM THE UNIVERSE, I AM GOD, I AM TRUTH, I AM ALL, I AM ONE, AND I AM YOU" Truth pointed toward Kiyome

"Are you done blabbing?" snarled Matanabe from behind Truth

"OH FEELING IGNORED KITTEN?" teased the being turning its head over its left shoulder.

"DON'T CALL ME THAT!" roared Matanabe as its claw paw came hurtling towards the white humanoid

"I'M THE DEVIL'S DOG OF DESTRUCTION! I'M NOT A CAT!" Truth raised a hand and blocked the powerful paw, and sent the giant dog hurtling backwards a few hundred feet, causing it to crash into the ground creating a giant crator underneath its self.

"Such power, its unbelievable" muttered Kiyome as she watched the exchanged between the two other worldly beings.

"NOW KIT-TEN YOU STAY THERE WHILE I SHOW THE YOUNG ALCHEMIST WHAT HER TOLL HAS PAID FOR" Truth grinned widely as it turned its head back toward Kiyome.

"Wha-what!" an ominous presence enveloped Kiyome from behind, as she shifted her gaze to look behind she was shocked at what stood behind her.

"This is!" She turned her whole body around as a giant gate appeared behind her

"YES THIS IS THE PORTAL OF TRUTH" Truth appeared to the side of Kiyome its grin widening further if that was possible.

The gate opened slowly, black shadows shot out from within the black void, wrapping themselves around Kiyome's body, in sheer terror she turned and started running away from the gate and it's shadow like tentacles but as she tried Truth loomed before her

"THIS IS WHAT YOU WANTED, ISN'T IT? I WILL SHOW YOU… THE TRUTH!"

"No stop please, NO!" screamed Kiyome as she was dragged in to the gate.

OoO

It felt like her head was about to explode, all the information that was being poured into her skull.

"It's to much! Stop please, STOP!" but her pleads fell on deaf ears as 'The Truth' kept pouring in.

"No, please! Make it stop!" she pleaded once more thrashing around within the shadows that held her

Suddenly a bright white light appeared in front of Kiyome, she slowly reached for it as if it was her last hope, all of a sudden everything inside her head became clear, about alchemy, Matanabe and even Truth its self, everything made sense to her now.

As fast as it began it was over, Kiyome found herself standing in the white void again still with her arm extended out in front of her.

"WELL? HOW WAS IT?" Truth asked from where it was seated on the floor

"It was amazing!" she started turning around to face the giant gate, now closed behind her, "all this information poured into my head, from alchemy to my ancestors before me, it was truly phenomenal!" as she made her statement she placed both hands onto the gate.

"This gate holds everything within it! Please you have to show it to me again!"

Truth snickered from behind her, slowly it raised its self from the floor

"I CAN'T DO THAT, I'VE ALREADY SHOWN YOU ALL THAT I CAN FOR THE TOLL YOU'VE PAID."

Kiyome looked over her shoulder to the being.

"Toll? What do you mean?" all of a sudden she doubled over in excruciating pain hit Kiyome's stomach, in her pained state she looked up at Truth who was pointing to where Matanabe had crashed landed after it tried to attack Truth before, to Kiyome's shock she saw half of the creature dissolve into what appeared to be smoke and was snaking it's way into her stomach.

"Wh-what is this!" she screamed in fear

"THIS IS THE TOLL THAT MUST BE PAID" Truth grinned widely at her and continued to talk.

"FOR KNOCKING ON THE AGTE OF TRUTH"

Fear, that's all she felt as half of Matanabe was inside of her, she felt sick to her stomach, collapsing to her knees with one hand over her mouth as she tried to hold in the bile that was in her throat, but a wave of pain shot through her and with her eyes closed she vomited onto the floor.

The taste and smell of copper hit her tongue and nose, slowly she opened her eyes, the shock of what lay before her, it screamed against the white floor, blood splattered in every direction.

"Wha-what have you done to me?" she slowly looked up at the white humanoid that was standing before her

"PAYMENT" Truth's grin widened immensely as it leant forward to come face to face with Kiyome.

"WELL YOUNG AL-CH-MIST, IT'S TIME FOR US TO PART, JUST REMEMBER BLOOD IS THICKER THEN WATER, HAHAHA" Truth's laugh echoed in Kiyome's ears as the white void dissolved in front of her eyes and was replaced by the ruin city of Yamagar before even that dissolved into darkness.

OoO

"Lady Kiyome hasn't awaken as of yet… Yes of course sir… I will"

'That voice it sounds familiar to me, but whose is it? It's so dark here, I wonder where here is?' Kiyome thought to her self as she tried to get a sense of her surroundings, beneath her body she felt soft as if she was floating on a cloud

"So I must be in a bed, okay but whose?" She thought to herself.

Slowly she tried to open her eyes, they felt like there was ten thousand tons resting on her eyelids, but slowly she managed to open her eyes just enough to let the dim light in.

"Where am I" she muttered softly to herself.

Slowly her eyes scanned the room in front of her, it was dimly light due to the candle that was placed next to her on the bed stand, beyond that was a window that had the curtains drawn over it, the rest of the room was very basic to what she could see in the dim light, basic set of draws in the corner by the window, a desk with a mirror situated above it on the wall was directly opposite the bed and the only door in the room was next to it.

"Where is this place?" she mumbled again, as she tried to sit up shooting pain shot through her body like lightening, causing her to gasp in pain and collapsing back onto the soft bed.

'Damn guess it wasn't a dream thought to herself'

'No it wasn't' came a voice that startled the young girl

"Who said that" she asked out loud looking around the room only to find nothing among the dancing shadows caused by the flickering candle.

'I'm in here' said the voice, Kiyome's eyes widened with horror

"Ma-ta…" but the rest of the name got stuck in her throat

'Yes young Yamagar I am here with in your being as well as spirit, well half of me anyway.'

"What do you mean only half?" she asked the creature that now resided within her.

'Truth knew my whole body would destroy your own so it cut me in half and sealed half of me inside you while the other half is trapped within the Dimensional Plain of Truth' stated Matanabe from within Kiyome's head.

Suddenly the door opened up causing Kiyome to look up and leave her previous conversation with Matanabe behind.

"Lady Kiyome you're finally awake!" a young man ran up to her bedside and knelt down next to her, his face was in shadow until he leant forward.

"Liore, is that you?" she stretched her hand toward his face, he took her hand in his own, kissing her fingers.

"I'm glad your safe, Liore" she said looking at his face, noticing the bandages that graced his right eye, tears welled up in her eyes, Liore noticed this.

"It's just a scratch" Liore said, smiling softly at her, gently he laid her hand on it

"It's my fault" she whispered looking away from his single eye gaze, a single tear escaping from her eye.

"Sorry to interrupt" a new voice said from the doorway

"But how is the young heiress doing?" a man dressed in oriental style robes of white, blue and gold stepped into the room holding a candle in one hand while the other was holding what appeared to be a scroll in the other

Kiyome starred at the new comer while he stepped into the room

"Greetings young heiress, I hope you are feeling better" the strange new comer was quite tall and looked to be in his thirties, with long blond hair and beard to match.

"You're Xerxian" mumbled Kiyome as she looked at the man who now stood a t the base of her bed.

"Yes my Lady, my name is Van Hohenhiem, welcome to Xing."
