Chapter 14: Awaiashi Shizuka.

She's a small, cute, and dangerous cat…right?

(Wyvern's POV)

*9:00 AM, In Wyvern's folly house.*

The morning light shined into my eyes as I slowly opened them. I didn't move my body for a few minutes because I was too tired to even move. After it passes, I slowly sat up on my bed. The bed curtains were closed around me. Before I could turn around, I hesitated and froze for a minute. My aura didn't detect anyone behind me. So I looked behind my back and…saw nobody. I was expecting Blake to sneak up on me like she always does. Still, I don't even know why she enjoys scaring me like that. I'll admit it's pretty funny, yet a jerk move if she keeps doing it to me. I yawned and pressed a button on my bedside table which showed me in the glass screen above was the time and weather. It was 9:07 AM with the temperature outside a comfortable 63 degrees fahrenheit or approximately 17 degrees celsius. I stretched and rubbed my eyes to clear my vision a bit and opened the curtains to get up.

Unexpectedly, when I opened the bed curtains and got up immediately,…yellow catlike eyes were in front of me. I flinched and fell back on my bed. It was Blake. Wow! I'm not surprised! I. Freaking. Knew it.

"Morning." She gave an innocent smile. That's kind of rare.

"I swear. You're trying to make me spit out my heart." I sighed.

"Are you confessing to me?"

"No!" I blushed and covered my mouth. To which her response was holding back laughter. "I meant you scare me too much."

"But it's…fun." Her ear twitched.

"Yeah. For you." I sighed and got off the bed. "I'll make breakfast for you guys. What would you like?"

"Is there a chance you have…fish?" Blake asked.

"Yes. I do. And sure, I'll make you some." I smiled and went down the stairs.

I made my way downstairs and went to the bathroom to brush my teeth and wash my hands. My hair was in a bed head state, so I combed it a bit and soon I would take a shower after breakfast. Well, I had to go to the store, which was in the capital city of my country. Perhaps I didn't tell my friends the real name of this country. The name is Doragon, sometimes people call it the Kingdom of Doragon. Or the Drahen Empire. But for now, back to what I was doing.

As soon as I finished, I went back to the kitchen and dug through my fridge, thinking about what should I make for everyone to enjoy. Meh. I'll make a usual breakfast that is commonly made, I'm making fired rice, egg, bacon and whatever you can think about as a usual breakfast. Not because I'm lazy, it's just anyone can enjoy it. I prepared everything and heated up the stove and began to do my job to cook them food. I learned how to cook because of my mom. She had to teach me when I was young just in case she was busy. Sometimes, I had to cook for them at times.

Footsteps were heard the stairs of the interior U shaped balcony. I looked at who was coming down and saw Ren. He rubbed his eyes and washed his hands in the sink. Nora was probably still asleep.

"Sleep well?" I asked.

"Yeah. Comfortable bed." He mentioned. "Need help with making breakfast? I'll make some pancakes or something."

"Sure. Thanks. The mix is up on the cabinet that has the letter B." I told him.

"Alright. Got it." Ren said and began to mix them up. "I heard you snuck out last night."

"Yup. Guilty as charged." I admitted without pretending to not know what he was talking about.

"Don't you think you work to hard?" He asked.

"I'm fine. Once my dad makes me the next emperor, I'm already set for it. Thanks to my Master, and my Parents."

Ren just shrugged it off and continued to cook the pancakes as I cooked the other things. Everything was quiet except for us working, until we heard a bang on the floor next to the kitchen. Someone landed on the floor. I saw that it was Nora, who successfully landed on her feet after jumping down from the U shaped interior balcony.

"There's stairs, have you heard?" I raised my eyebrow.

"Yup. Just thought I'd wake up my legs." She smiled.

Ren sighed and gave a small smile to her. "Just try not to break your legs."

Nora nodded back. "I won't." She said and made her way to the bathroom to refresh herself.

"You know, you both look like you would be a good couple." I commented.

Ren blushed and looked back at his cooking. "Well…I'll take that as a compliment for both me and her. She'll most likely find some guy better than me."

"Things can change, Ren. It is possible you can marry Nora." I snickered.

"You can't tell the future." He chuckled. Can't argue with that.

"Yeah I know. Just sayin." I shrugged.

"Really? What about you? Who do you think would match you?" He asked me.

Crap. I knew it would come to this. My body froze, preventing me to continue my work on cooking. I looked away to hide my face glowing red.

"I… don't know. Thanks for asking." I replied.

Before Ren can continue, Nora came out of the bathroom and slid across the floor with her socks still on her feet, like she was ice skating. At one point, she almost tripped but grabbed the couch in time before she can face plant on the floor.

"Careful." Ren said.

"Sorry."

"Well, breakfast is almost done. So can you call everyone else?" I asked Nora.

"Someone is awake already." Nora told me.

"Yes I know. But can you do it? I'm busy."

"No. I'm talking about behind you." She said.

I looked behind my back and saw those yellow eyes… AGAIN. I flinched, which almost made me slip on the floor. Blake. She covered her mouth to hold back the laughter. So did Ren and Nora.

I sighed. "Blake, are you asking me to get a restraining order on you?"

"No." She almost let out a laugh.

"You rarely laugh. I guess I'm the one that makes you do that."

"Come on. Are you scared of Blake or something?" Yang's voice was heard on the top. She was right there with Ruby, looking down from the railings.

I blew out a sigh. "No I am not! She just keeps popping out of nowhere!"

"Sounding defensive I see." Yang teased.

"How else am I supposed to respond?" I gave a stare. She just stayed silent for a few seconds.

Ruby snickered. "At least you're not as easily scared as Jaune."

"Hey! I'm that cowardly!" Jaune yelled out.

"BOO!" A popped up voice was heard, which made Jaune scream loudly. Pyrrha was the one who scared him.

"Oh you." Pyrrha playfully punched his arm.

"Yeah yeah." He looked away.

After around fifteen minutes have passed, breakfast was already done. Ren and I set the food up as the other seven sat down in the table. I prayed for my cooking that it would satisfy them enough. Then, I carefully set up the last plate on the table and just stood there, waiting for everyone to start eating. Ren cleared his throat and spoke.

"Bon appétit." Ren said.

"Guten appetit." I added.

Everyone picked up their fork and knife then started trying out our food. Weiss was the first one to try it. A few chews, her eyes opened and looked at the both of us.

"This is…very delightful." She commented.

Jaune was the second one to try it. "Wow. This is really good." He gave a thumbs up.

Then Pyrrha. "You both cooked it really good."

"Is there going to be enough for seconds?" Yang asked.

"I was about to ask the same thing." Ruby raised her hand.

"I knew you both weren't going to disappoint us." Nora launched her fist up with a huge smile.

"I love the tuna omelette. Overall, they're all delicious." Blake nodded.

Both me and Ren were flattered by everyone's comments and words for our cooking. I guess my mom's training for me cooking really paid off. I also thanked Ren for helping me out today for preparing breakfast. We both decided to just sit down with them and eat. This felt more different. Usually, I sit by myself before I even went to Beacon Academy. Feeling alone, hoping that the food would cheer me up, but it didn't really do much effort. I looked around my friends. All smiles, just the way I love seeing them like this. Without them, I don't know what I would do or perhaps how I would get through things without a problem.

I have no regrets for meeting all of them. But the question I've been thinking about is why Ostanes sent me to Beacon. I mean, I felt like I was finished with my training. Heck, it was probably to help me just in case. He did mention everything about the Grimm and the dangers out there.

My head shook to stop thinking about the question that was unanswered. I looked at the table and saw the others just doing their usual thing.

"Ren." Nora called while slicing her pancakes.

"Yeah?" He responded.

Nora left a slice on her fork and showed him it. "Say 'Ahh'."

Ren awkwardly looked around and just decided to accept her offer. He opened his mouth as Nora just put it in.

"That's a sweet image to see." Pyrrha commented.

Nora smiled. "It's fun doing it to him."

"Reminds me when I was fed by my mom." I said.

Nora's eyes widened and tilted her head. "In what way?"

At first, I didn't know what she meant. But about a few seconds, I know what she meant by 'The Other Way'. I blushed and shivered. "By spoon feeding! Not… by that way of feeding!" I didn't want to say it.

"Don't worry. We know what you meant." Weiss said.

Yang finished her plate and laid back. "I've been curious. About you and Ruby sneaking out last night, how was the Grimm there?"

"Ooo…you snuck out. You're gonna get in trouble." Nora teased.

Wyvern shrugged. "We fought many Beowolves, Ursas, a King Taijitu, and two Nevermores."

Everyone on the table just stared at him and Ruby. They couldn't believe just two people took care of Grimm outside the palace's guarding walls. Yang just looked at her little sister with a shocked look. She didn't expect that much from the outside. Well, at least she was as tough as nails. Perhaps more.

"Add a Death Stalker and a Boarbatusk, and you're completed by killing the common Grimm in one night." Pyrrha told them.

"I would like to point out that I was almost killed by a Death Stalker, if you remember." Jaune said and took a sip of his drink.

"Yeah. And I would also like to point out that the cup you're drinking is Pyrrha's." I pointed out.

Jaune almost spat out the drink for some reason. I'm glad he didn't. He awkwardly put the cup down and scratched his head.

"Sorry." He apologized.

"It's alright. It was just a mistake for a drink." She chuckled.

"And an indirect kiss." Nora added.

"Nora." Ren called.

"Okay." She shrugged and backed down.

After around fifteen minutes have passed, everyone finished their plate. They were going to wash their own plates, but I insisted and told them I would wash all of theirs. Later when I finished cleaning their plates, I changed on the interior balcony in my bed where the curtains covered. My usual outfit for going outside. I changed my cape with one that had my family logo. Also, I wore my eyepatch just because. Walking back down the stairs, I saw the others still chatting, then turned their direction towards me. Noticing that I changed my clothes and had my Dragon Tail swords on my back.

"Going somewhere?" Blake asked.

"I'll be in Diayamondo City, buying stuff like food. Is there anything you guys want?" I asked.

"I'm fine." Ruby answered. All of the others responded the same as her.

Yang stood up and stretched. "You want me to tag along with you? I kinda want to check out the place. And what stuff they have."

"I can buy you another motorbike." I told her.

Yang blinked. "Really?"

"Sure."

"But…don't you think it'll be expensive? Like- "

"Look who you're talking to. Prince of the empire, very wealthy, and what you expect from a prince." I laughed.

Yang chugged her glass of orange juice and sighed out. "I'm in!"

"Sis, just try not to do anything crazy." Ruby reminded her.

"Don't worry. Big sis will be okay." Yang messed up Ruby's hair and walked towards the door.

I looked at them again. "Are you sure there's nothing you guys want?"

"Don't worry. No need to make sure we're not bored." Weiss said as they all nodded.

"Alright. Just don't burn down this place." I laughed and opened the front door to make Yang go first. "Be back in around two hours." I shut the door and walked down the walkway.

Yang put her hands behind her head and laid it back. "You the errand boy for your family?" She asked.

"Kind of. But I love going around town as well." I replied.

"For what? Looking for a pretty girl-"

"And I had a feeling you would say something like that." I looked away as she laughed at embarrassment.

"Wyvern!" I heard my name get called out coming from the back door of the main palace. It was my mom, holding a letter in her hand. She dashed towards me and stopped immediately just fifteen centimeters away from my feet.

"Need something, mom?" I asked.

"Since you're going to Diayamondo City, your friend Schnell has a favor for you." She gave the letter to me and patted my head. "Run along now." She smiled and headed back inside.

Yang looked at me with that confused look on her face.

"Who's Schnell?" She asked.

"Schnell is the daughter of one of the governors of Doragon, aka The Drahen Empire. I'll be honest, I meet her almost every month, and I should say she's just like Nora." I chuckled.

"Wonder what it'll be like if they met each other." Yang thought about it.

"Two times the fun." I joked.

"What?"

"Nevermind."

Out of curiosity, I decided to open the letter now. If I opened it in the city, what happens if it might say that I need to bring something from my palace? Long trips back wastes my energy. I don't know. Just thinking too much. I opened the letter and scanned through the words on the paper slowly.

The note reads:
Wyvern Akua Kumawaka, Prince of Doragon, The Drahen Empire.
I would like to request a favor for you when there is a time when you go out into Diayamondo City. There have been reports of a girl around the age of seven or eight that has been roaming around the capital. I meet her everyday in the city and found out she has been struggling to stay alive by cold nights, hot days, and hunger. To the point I'm asking is, I would like you to find her and bring her to me. She will be taken care of over my responsibility. I think her name is Awaiashi, if that's how you spell it, a faunus cat that is around one hundred forty five centimeters tall, pale skin, green eyes, and purple hair. Good luck finding her. ;)

-Schnell Baioretto Gozen, Daughter of Silber and Jagerin.

The one thing that came to my mind was, "Why couldn't she done it herself?" Well, she's probably busy right now. And since I'm going there, I might as well do it for her.

(Third-Person View)

*Diayamondo City, Capital of Doragon (The Drahen Empire).*

A normal sunny morning shined through Diayamondo City, Doragon. Exotic skyscrapers were reflecting the sun beams, also the popular eye catching ones like the Diamond Building: A skyscraper shaped like a diamond full of windows, The Doragon Tail Building: Somewhat spiral building, and the Fallen Scale structure: Multiple buildings that looked like mountains that were aligned very well. This place was where it mostly gets busy. It is kind of more easier to find a job here to.

In one of the stores downtown, there was a farmers market where Wyvern and Yang mostly stayed. All Wyvern needed was a few fruits and vegetables with some drinks. Yang was eagerly reading a paper that had pictures of motorbikes from a shop close by. Wyvern was planning to get the things he needed first, then go get Yang her second motorbike.

He could hear her talking to herself a bit about choosing one that would match her.

"You look like a little girl eagerly reading a child's book." Wyvern commented on Yang's search to pick one.

"Well, girls want to try something that could match them." She smiled.

"Did you make up your mind yet?" He asked.

"I think so."

Wyvern reached for his pocket and gave the money for the food and walked towards the motorbike shop as Yang followed him. He opens the door and could already smell the oil and that 'mechanical' smell all over. Yang looked around eyes full around the place. There was all kinds of motorbikes everywhere. Her very own one was one thing, but these were ones that she never saw before. As Wyvern was talking to the cashier, Yang just wandered around looking at the place.

"So yeah. I'll just give you one million one hundred thousand Xens. Just make her choose which one she wants and it's all set." Wyvern told the cashier as she received his Xens, the Drahen Empire currency.

"No problem sir. I'll make sure the one your girlfriend chooses will be set." She bowed her head in respect.

He blushed and looked away. "Actually, she's not my girlfriend."

"Liar." She chuckled.

"Seriously. She's not." He blushed more deeply.

"Relax your highness. I'm just playing. So yeah, I'll make sure she gets what she wants."

"Thanks. I'll be in the shop next to this place. Just got to get a new volume of a book."

"Is it a sm- "

"No it is not."

"Alright. Have fun." She waved her hand as he made his way to the next store.

Wyvern sighed. "She didn't change a bit." He chuckled.

Wyvern opened the door to the book shop and saw only a girl was in there, not counting the cashier. She was in a Victorian type dress and was pretty short, like a doll. Her blank expression was all he can see from her. Her eyes dialed around each pages as they turned for a new sentence waiting to be read. He didn't realize he has been paying attention to her. Suddenly, her eyes aimed towards his which made him look away quickly. Those cat like eyes were just like Blake's except it was green.

He decided to just get back at his search for the new book. Easily, he found it on he New Releases shelf. How convenient. Making his way to the cashier, paying for the book, and before leaving, the door opened with two men in familiar looking outfits that Wyvern has seen before. Their outfits were white and black with an emblem that was a red wolf's head with three scratches on their gauntlets. They were no doubt members of the White Fang.

They both made their way to the girl reading the book peacefully. As they stood there for a great time, the girl closed her book and gave an intimidating look at the both of them.

"It's you two. What do you want?" The girl glared.

"You're in huge trouble kid. Now, you're coming with us." The man grabbed her hand.

"Don't touch me!" She shook her hand.

The one member took out a pistol and put it just two inches away from her forehead. "We can either play nice, or shoot this twice on your legs." He aimed it downward.

The cashier reacted by this and spoke out loud. "Excuse me, who are you two? There is no violence to be committed in this- "

"Silence!" The man yelled. "Or else I'll shoot you instead."

"Get off me you criminal dogs!" The girl tried to break free.

"Well, I'll put these dogs on their leash." Wyvern cracked his knuckles.

"You do that." The store owner said.

Wyvern walked towards the two men in their White Fang outfit and tapped one of them in the shoulder. The man turned around and spoke.

"Not now. We're busy sir." He said.

"I see you're harassing this little girl. Why?" Wyvern smiled innocently.

"Sorry pal. But we're not to tell the reasons why to outsiders like you. Move on." He turned his back at him and began to handcuff the little girl.

"Sure. Let us move this on, outside." Wyvern cracked his knuckles. He grabbed the man and kicked him so hard that he was sent flying out the door into the street. Next, he grabbed the second man and did the same, except he punched him this time. On the floor, he saw the key for unlocking the handcuffs on the girl. He grabbed it and used it to free her. Expecting the girl to stay put, she immediately headbutted his chin which made him fall on his back. Then, she ran outside the store in a dash. "Hey! Wait!" He got up, but froze for a sec. He looked at the door and saw it was just, almost obliterated. Wyvern decided to give the appropriate amount of money to the store owner. "Sorry about the door. Nine thousand five hundred Xens should do the trick."

"Oh. Thank you your highness." He bowed his head.

"Anytime." Wyvern dashed out and went to the rooftops. Luckily, he spotted her just jumping around the buildings. "Jeez. She can parkour in a dress?" He began to follow her tracks.

He noticed that she was climbing on one building like a spider. Wyvern bit his left palm and made his wings spread. Dashing towards her, she lunged upwards and flipped back, landing on feet first on a rooftop. Wyvern jumped towards her, but she dodged successfully as she continued her escape. She jumped down on another building and went through its rooftops. Wyvern stayed behind her until she comes across a dead end or no other route to go.

But instead of stopping, she tripped and fell down off the roof. Wyvern quickly went to her and caught her in time before she can hit the ground. He slowed down and started slowly descending on the docks of Diayamondo City. A few seconds, the girl started to shake around to break free from Wyvern's grip.

"Let go of me! Let go of me! Let go of me!" The girl whined out loud.

Wyvern tried his best to calm her down. "Easy easy! Will you stop squirming?!"

"Then I demand you to let me go so I can stop!" She yelled.

He dropped her without a word. Then sighed loudly as she got up. "Fine. I'll do what the grumpy kitten asks."

"UGH! You're lucky you didn't ruin my dress." She brushed herself off because of some dirt.

"Like I was worried for some whiny girl's dress." He smiled.

"Dummy! Have you no respect for ladies?!" She gave a deadly glare.

"I respect ladies and treat them well. But for you, you're a bit rough on the edge to me. I just saved you from getting hurt by those White Fang guys."

The girl stuck her tongue out. "I would've handled them myself. I can fight you know. This place is like surviving in the wild."

"But, why is an eight year old girl wandering by herself?"

She stomped her foot on the ground and clenched her fists. "I'll have you know, I'm fourteen. Not eight years old!"

"Considering the fact you act like an eight year old." Wyvern crossed his arms.

"BWAAAH~!" She started aiming her nonstop punches on Wyvern's torso, but he was easily blocking her blows. "Stupid Stupid Stupid Stupid Stupid!"

"Calm down kitty." Wyvern caught both of her wrists. He looked into her eyes and saw she was trying to act like she was…not afraid of him. His expression softened a bit and gave a warm smile.

The short statured girl looked away with a blush. She looked like a doll when she did. "Don't you look at me like that, creep." She turned her eyes back at him for a short moment, then looked away.

Wyvern began to look at the girl, scanning her appearance. A faunus cat with pale skin, green eyes, purple hair, and approximately one hundred forty five. He recognized those characteristics from somewhere. Then it struck him, it was from the letter Schnell sent him to look got a girl. This must be the one she was talking about. Awaiashi. She was in a gothic lolita type fashion, ribbons around her hair with some jingle bells and a side white rose bow on her head. By the looks of her, she was like a doll.

"What's your name?" Wyvern made sure if it was her or not.

"Awaiashi Shizuka." She said, still looking the opposite direction. "What about yours, weirdo?"

He sighed. "Wyvern Akua Kumawaka. Prince of Doragon and The Drahen Empire."

Her eyes widened. "You're the prince?"

"Yeah. I'm here to pick you up and drop you off to my friend, Schnell Baioretto Gozen."

"You know her!" She gave a wide smile.

Wyvern stepped back a bit. "Yeah. You sound really excited."

Awaiashi realized it and went in a calm state. "It's just that me and her are like best friends."

"Well, I think I knew that so…"

Suddenly, a growling coming from Awaiashi was heard. It was her stomach. She blushed and covered her belly area.

"You better not laugh." She said.

"I bet you're hungry. I can buy you a good meal if you want." He smiled.

"And how would I know you're not going to trick me?"

"Why ask that?" He gave a tiring stare.

She went close to his face and glared. "Why I asked that?" She froze and surprised Wyvern. "Boop." She poked his nose. "I'm just kidding. But seriously, I'm hungry."

"Alright. Let's fill that small tummy." He let out his hand.

She blushed by him lending her his hand. Awaiashi decided to accept it and walk with him. "Don't treat me like a small child. I'm not below twelve."

"Then don't act like little child."

"Stuff your mouth with some girl's lips will yah." Awaiashi told him to shut up.

"That's rude."

As they looked around for a place to eat, they realized they were still in the same area where both of them stayed. The farmers market, the motorbike shop and the book shop were right there. Well they didn't go too far when Wyvern was chasing down Awaiashi. Wyvern looked in the motorbike shop and saw Yang still inside while talking to the cashier. Even though he was curious on what they were talking about, he was hoping its nothing embarrassing about him. He also saw his bags still in the book shop. He went inside and picked them up and continued making their way to the restaurant just ahead.

Awaiashi could smell the food already. Her mouth was already watery just thinking about what she was about to eat. Wyvern chuckled by how excited she was getting. So without further adieu, he went inside as while she was still holding his hand like a little child scared of getting lost.

Inside a restaurant near the farmers market where Wyvern went, Awaiashi was munching all of the food she ordered. Thanks to Wyvern paying for it already. He was surprised she was on her third plate. Also, she ordered a lot of sweets like brownies, scones, and slices of pie. Already, she finished at least 75% of it. Well, Wyvern did know that she rarely had enough calories per day. Plus she perhaps had never had such good food for days or months or even years.

As for Wyvern, he patiently waited for her to finish since he only ordered a glass of iced dragon fruit tea. He ate breakfast already. So there was no point of ordering anything else to eat. Even though this was his favorite place to eat, he still decided not to eat. Just get a cold refreshing drink from taking down the two White Fang members and all that running from him chasing Awaiashi.

"How hungry are you?" Wyvern asked.

Awaiashi swallowed her food before speaking. "I've never had good food for at least… I don't know. Long time?" She continued to munch away.

"What did you mostly eat?"

"Food from a convenience store."

"Must've been rough getting used to it."

"No crumbs, genius." She rolled her eyes.

Wyvern sighed. "Why are you so mean to me? Are you showing your thankful side by being like this?"

Awaiashi blushed and looked away. "I'm sure you've gotten enough respect by your 'subjects'."

"Calling my people subjects? Really? Does that include you?"

"Shut up! You ask too many questions."

"Okay okay. Jeez." He put his hands behind his head and laid back.

Awaiashi sighed and made her tail touch his legs. "But… I… Thank you."

"Hmm?"

"Thank you! There, I said it." She blushed.

He smiled by her finally saying it. "Your welcome." He bowed his head and chuckled. "Is there anything else you need?"

She stayed silent for a few seconds thinking of something. Her ear twitched and looked down. "One favor, before we go."

"All right then. Before we go, what do you want me to do?" He raised his eyebrow.

"Pet my head."

"… What…?"

She opened one eye. "Does an imbecile on a chair like you have to hear me repeat myself?"

"What if I said, Yes?" He raised his eyebrow.

She blushed even more and gave an annoyed glare at him. "Pet me…."

Wyvern sighed by what she wanted. Well, it was just petting a faunus cat. He raised his hand as Awaiashi bowed her head forward and waited. She felt his hand touch her head and felt it rub against her hair and ears. By the soothing sensation of his hand petting her, she purred as her ears twitched. Wyvern looked around and saw that not much people were in the restaurant. Which means no embarrassing stares aiming at their table. He looked at her and saw her eyes closed with a drunken smile.

"Can I stop now?" Wyvern asked.

"More. Keep going." She started to quietly sigh out laughter.

"What are you doing, Wyvern?"

That voice. Wyvern froze as Awaiashi stopped her pleasured laughter. He turned his head and saw Yang just standing there with her new keys for her second motorbike. She gave a smirk and started patting his head. Wyvern put his hand back to his lap and blushed.

Yang laughed. "Don't even think of saying "This isn't what it looks like." Because I saw you through the window."

"Awaiashi told me to do it." He rolled his eyes.

"Awai- who?"

"Awaiashi Shizuka." She said her full name.

"Oh. Well, Nice to meet you, wittle kitty." Yang poked her nose.

Awaiashi gave a whine like a child. "Salutations to you to. I see Wyvern Kumawaka here is your invertebrate pet."

"Hey!" Wyvern glared.

"Aren't you sounding smart for an eight year old girl." She smiled.

Immediately, Awaiashi blushed and whined loudly. "BWAAAH~! I'm fourteen! Not eight years of age!"

Yang patted her head, which calmed Awaiashi down instantly. "Relax. I'm just guessing your age. I didn't really mean to call you that age. So, I'm guessing you're fun sized." She chuckled.

Wyvern snickered, but stopped when both of them looked at him.

"Hmm. You're a faunus cat just like our friend, Blake." Yang commented.

"You both know another faunus, I see. Is she part of that corrupted White Fang?" She asked.

"No. She was long time ago, but things have changed since." Yang replied.

"Good. Because that group is starting to just become down right stupid." Awaiashi took a bite of her scone.

Yang raised her eyebrow. "Why? Did you know anything about them?"

"Yeah. They got what they wanted for their rights, but they didn't have to keep going. The main question is, who is to blame? Is it the Humans or the Faunus Race? Anyway, those two should've just kiss and make up already."

Wyvern laid his head on his left hand. "Well, we can't argue that both humans and faunusi are naturally… 'dumb'… I suppose?"

"That's society today." Yang commented.

"We both need to get our heads together if we don't want any dumb motivations and decisions for an act. The main problem is The Grimm. That's all there is to it." Awaiashi said.

"I like the way you think." Yang smiled.

"Mm hmm." Wyvern nodded.

She blushed and looked down. "Thanks for agreeing with me. But, it's just my perspective for society today."
