I have not updated in a while and I do apologize. I am lazy but also have begun my first year at college which makes it very hard to keep up with anything but homework. Anyways, this chapter will introduce new ideas and I plan on continuing the story. If I do not update until late April to May or at the earliest May, then it is because I am busy with my whole new classes and won't be able to update. I will try to write the next chapter before then. So enjoy. C:

Chapter 13

Xiaolin Temple:
''Today feels like it is going to be a drag.'' Falkia murmured as she walked out into the courtyard seeing the others training.

''Hey, Falkia come to train?'' Kimiko said enthusiastically.

''Nah, don't need to besides it's too hot.'' she said lazily sitting by Rai on the grass watching Omi and Clay fighting.

''Oh, come on scared to lose. You never train.'' Kimiko mocked.

''Maybe she doesn't know how to,'' Omi said as he knocked Clay down ending the match.

''Fine you want a fight. Best choose a good weapon.'' Falkia calmly replied before pulling out twin sais and stood in front of Omi.

''I don't need one,'' Omi said proudly.

''Ready opponents.'' Kimiko refereed as the two bowed. ''Fight!''

Omi charged with a loud battle cry while Falkia calmly stood. At the last second, she sent one sai into the ground while holding on upside down as Omi barreled past the she kicked him right in a tree. Everyone watched in shock but Omi irritated shot up in a water cannon style before being blasted by a massive air maneuver. Unfortunately, he couldn't gain his balance midair before being kicked hard into the dirt leaving a ditch where he rammed down.

''Oww.'' Omi muttered as he slowly got up.

''Never underestimate your opponent. It can cost you the win.'' Falkia said before peacefully returning to her seat as though she never left.

''How did you-''Rai stuttered at how fast she'd taken down Omi, the best of the four.

''I practiced. If you train hard, you don't need to try you just do it naturally.''

''But you beat Omi!'' Kimiko said amazed.

''Like I said years of practice besides Omi's out of his element. The air today is dry as dust.'' Falkia stated like it really did affect the fight.

''You guys! Another Wu has revealed itself.''

''Guess that's the cue.'' Falkia murmured as the others ran off. ''Ah well, Jack doesn't need me to humiliate himself so I'll just take a walk.

Hours Later...

''Okay, this is boring. The others are not back yet and I swear this forest is the least interesting one in the entire planet. I haven't even seen a single animal all morning. Well, since I have so much free time maybe I can think up a solution to this dilemma.'' Falkia said to herself as she finished a four-hour hike through the empty plains and woods near the temple.

She sat silently at the temple's base contemplating her options. She could be honest but that would probably end badly. The others were too good to care whether or not her decision to help Jack was the honorable choice. Continuing with the lies would only work so long and that wouldn't help in the slightest. No, the best choice was to find a way out of this web without having everything crash all at once.

''Well, this is still not helping. If I can not come up with a good idea, then I'll go get some advice and maybe that will help.'' Falkia thought and with her mind made up stood up.

Within a few minutes, she wrote a note which she left near the vault telling everyone she was visiting a friend and would be back by the latest tomorrow. Then with that done she took off into the currents heading westward to an old friend.

New Orleans Outskirts:

Falkia landed softly out in a bayou near the eastern side of the Mississippi River. Then she walked down a nearby path heading for a magnificent mansion with one of the most beautiful gardens she had ever laid eyes on.

''Ironic that when I said we were visiting an old friend that I really have some here. Oh well, no one knows they live here so it's not like they'd come after the Key.''

As soon as she passed through the western gate, the smell of various flowers filled her senses with a serenity only matched by their unparalleled quality. Every flower from simple roses to gorgeous orchids and wildflowers were lined up in perfect harmony. At the center of the winding path of flowers was a rather ornate marble gazebo adorned with Sakura flowers as well as Phlox surrounded with Olve branches. In the gazebo, there was hand carved wooden chairs and a round table perfect for reading or outdoor tea. In the tallest and most elegant chair sat a young woman who upon looking up from her book smiled with a bright warmth.

She stood up with extremely great posture giving a wonderful view of all 6 feet of her. Despite being only 15, she held a kind of grace unparalleled to many women of today's youth.

''Falkia, my dear friend, to what do I owe this surprising visit?'' she said rising up and giving a courtesy bow to Falkia which returned one back.

''Gloria, I wanted to have some advice and figured why not come and see some of my most cherished friends. You still look as radiant as always.'' Falkia said observing her with a carefree eye.
Gloria much like Falkia wore a skirt but hers was woven by hand with yellow fabric with traces of silver, gold, and red dancing around in a design that looked like flames. Her shirt was of the same fabric that her skirt was. The other difference between the two's clothing was that Gloria's outfit extended only to her knees and her elbows which based off the climate she lived in made sense. Gloria's gorgeous brown locks cascaded down her back with sheer elegance with a single dragonfly barrette inserted with tiny emeralds, sapphires, rubies, amethysts and two diamond eyes. The last thing to notice was despite her age she wore black high heels and simple white stockings on her legs with a gold anklet chain that was barely visible.

''Honestly, the formal compliments are rather old or would y'all prefer it that way?'' Gloria said gesturing for Falkia to join her which she graciously did.

''Milady, whatever is more comfortable for you.''

''Since Y'all are here as a friend and not on some important affair we'll speak as we please. Would you like some Jasmine tea?'' she said gesturing to a simple teapot over an unusual burner wired to some black panels just outside the gazebo which kept it warm.

''That sounds lovely. I like that burner but how does it work?''

''Oh this thing. I made it so that rather than using oil it is heated with solar light which thankfully is abundant today.''

''You certainly are a true lady,'' said Falkia as Gloria handed her a steaming cup of tea.

''Well, we must work more diligently to helping the environment. By next year, Uncle has agreed to replace all electricity in the eastern farmlands with solar energy and hopefully work on the western to be finished long before the time he passes them onto me. It's so much work but will be worth it once the plant is done. After that, we'll come up for alternate sources should we encounter bad weather to ensure we stop using fossil fuels altogether.''

''That's very ambitious,'' said Falkia sipping the soothing tea.

''But enough about my work. How's life over in England? I know it must be hard without Sir Leo, your father. He is dearly missed even among my family.''

''You know as well as I do how hard it is to live with that man. Though I loved him dearly, he was strict and showed me the ways of a soldier. The truth is that I'll never be my father and I'm afraid the path he choose is not the path I should follow.''

''I understand. Uncle can be hard as well but he has my best interests in mind. Though his pride is irksome, I am thankful to be the one who shall take his place. After all, I am Lady Sunday or as my Jewish roots truly mean, Lady Sabbath.''

''So you never feel chained by the ways you must act, as one of the so-called Royal Families, the arguably strongest families among the witches, and the ones tasked with guarding the sacred seven objects that Dashi found?''

''No, but I suppose you do. I take it that is why you came to see me?''

''Yes, Jack asked me to do something and as you know my word is as unbreakable as diamond. However, complications have ensnared me in a web I may never break. What shall I do?''

''That is not for me to decide. All I can say is that you should follow your heart even if it breaks the honor you so uphold.''

''That's not helpful but thanks.''

''Look if life's answers were all solved we'd all be bored to death. I can't give you the right answer. You have to find it out on your own.''

''You sound so philosophical. Anyways, thanks for the conversation.''

''Anytime and may pleasant days come you way. Cheers.''

''And to you. Cheers,'' said Falkia as she turned and began to walk away.

''One more thing,'' Gloria said which made Falkia turn back to face her. ''The Golden Key has been acting rather strange it may be possible that soon they'll "activate" as those who seek the Wu call it. I'm warning you that if it gives off a signal then the others will as well. With all those Heylin rogues out and about it's just a precautionary warning. Cecilia has notified or will notify the others. If they do, the best solution is to divide them as far from each other as possible. I'll stay in North America but you and the others should move to different locations in case they try some rather unorthodox methods to seize their control. Wherever you feel is best will work.''

''Alright, I'll go southward then. To the place where my name was born. Now then, may you have a pleasant day and see you soon.'' Falkia waved before walking away then taking to the winds back to the temple.

Jack's Mansion Evening:

''Let me guess you blew it again?'' Katnappe purred as she was dusting around the lab.

''Who asked you? And what are you doing?'' Jack asked rather heatedly.

''Cleaning. I'd assume you'd be grateful considering you hate the scent of cat.''

''True and as for your question. Not entirely, I did seize the Sphere of Yun just had trouble along the way.''

''Well, it's better than nothing. Where's the old hag?''

''I don't know. Driving someone else batty for a change, I guess. Hey, want to take a bubble bath?'' Jack instantly turned.

''Why the witch ain't going to see anything...''

''Good point,'' said Jack grinning evilly.

''And remember the main evil rule, no strings, no particular reason, just to have a hell of a time!'' said Katnappe before kissing Jack on the lips pushing him onto the table.

''Someone's feisty today. Okay, let's settle this in one of the guest rooms.'' Jack said grabbing her and dragging her up the steps.

''You are so on.'' she said running eagerly after him.

Meanwhile at Chase's:

''Okay, your plan is to convince Omi to turn evil if that fails then use the Yin or Yang Yo-Yo to turn him evil and then use his powers to shift the balance and rule the world. Wow, that's crazy enough to work , although, I already tried that with Raimundo and failed!'' Wuya spat at Chase after hearing his plan.

''Which is why I always have a backup plan. Don't worry we'll win and crush those fools.'' Chase said wickedly.

''I like how you think but tell me how does Jack fit in?''

''We do need someone to do the dirty work after all and he plus Katnappe will work especially if I'm forced to move to plan B. Tell me have you ever heard of the Heylin Warriors.''

''No but now you've made me very interested.'' Wuya cackled wildly.

Okay so people are not confused then read this for some missing info otherwise I hope you enjoyed.

1. I did base off the royal families loosely from the Keys to the Kingdom Series by Garth Nix and each of the "Wu" are one of those keys.

2. The Jewish week is not the same as the Gregorian week in that Sunday is the 1st day. What I mean is Jewish days are based off numbers so it is First, Second, Third, etc.. day of the week. However, the last names of each character translate based off the specific number meaning that the 1st day in Judaism is actually Sunday but I gave that name translation to Monday. So Falkia's proper last name is R'vi'i or 4th day and Gloria's is Sabbath or the day of rest.

3. I'm technically not shipping any villain couples rather I choose a different approach. In this story, villains have a code to relieve their sexual tensions with each other with no attachments. That means any of the four main villains will do it with each other and whether any romantic feelings arise between them is up to whether the readers actually want it. So review if you want me to show signs of real romance between any of them.

4. After how long the one time I wrote an entire episode of the show came to be, I choose to limit Falkia's story interaction from those stories. And I already choose which episode will lead to the reveal which spoiler will happen and when it is only time will tell.

Anyways, please review and if you have any questions or comments feel free to ask. Cheers and since it's hour till then. Happy New Year! C:
