Final chapter

The last few weeks have been amazing in Karma's eyes. No, she and Amy haven't kissed or done anything romantic. They both remain as friends but they have been hanging out nonstop. They went to the zoo like they were meant to because their first trip went wrong, went to the fair, and even went to at least one or two dozen chick flicks at the cinema near Karma's place. Although Amy hasn't talked just yet, she is making real progress and Karma is hoping she will soon.

But it wasn't going the way that Liam wanted too.

Tomorrow exams started. Today is that day where you tie up and loose ends and talk to them before exams. Technically tomorrow they ran through all eight classes, ate lunch, and then have their last two hour exams. And then the day after it was exams one through third hour, and then your final exams were four through sixth.

But people were giving Karma strange looks when she stepped into school. Some even patted her shoulder and told her that they won't let someone near her. But the people giving her their wishes never told her who they were all talking about. But then again she heard the sound of heels clicking down the hallway towards her. And she knew exactly who it was but this time she was greeted by a slap.

"You told!" Lauren hissed, glaring. She also had her two friends with her. Karma didn't really remember the names but they thankfully were holding Lauren back from any more pain she might cause.

"Told what?" Karma frowned a bit as she lied while hoping it wasn't what she thought. She tried moving around the girl eyeing her locker. But Lauren didn't want to let her prey run so she broke free from the grasp and took Karma's arm. "What the heck are you talking about?"

"The entire school knows Amy is gay! God, I swear I am going to kill you..." Lauren glared at her. Her two friends then tried holding her back again this time making sure there was no escape.

First she wanted to know how anyone found out. Maybe it was just a few kids making assumptions about the two. But then realization hit her like a ton of bricks. And Lauren could very well tell she remembered. "I only told one person!"

"Why? Why would you do this to someone?" Lauren was pretty much close to punching her this time.

Karma had that guilt look on her face. The scene of a few weeks ago had played back in her mind. It was during their shared class that she was making out with Liam in a closet after both asking to go to the bathroom. He was pushing for way more but she said no. That they were in school and that spark for Amy wouldn't go away. But she didn't even dare mention the second part.

He kept begging her that they can go out in the parking lot. If she even wanted to go to his house and leave early he was down for that. But she wouldn't let him. It just didn't feel right to sleep with him. Sure, it was Liam Booker who is the hottest guy in school! But for some reason he just wasn't what she wanted at the moment.

The two got into a small argument over their relationship. Somehow Amy was a threat to Liam because of how close the two were. And then Karma accidentally mentioned angrily that Amy may be a lesbian, but she sure wouldn't hurt her. And that's when Liam was in shock. He was also angry that the girl was sly enough to try and steal his girlfriend under the radar.

The more that the girls spent with each other; the more he was ready to announce it. He made sure to even discuss it a second time. This time with a camera hidden and he released it to the school just a few days ago. Shane was against this plan the entire time as he told him that it isn't fair. Liam also lost Shane as a friend because of his actions too. It was pretty much a matter of time before Lauren would have seen it. And that is something that Lauren or Amy should never see.

Amy sat against the tree. She avoided social media. She didn't want to be forever known as the girl who loves the straightest girl in the world (even though there were a few signs that she wasn't as straight as they thought). Heck, why couldn't her crush on Dianna Agron just be the only thing that is out there? She would rather it be that because she knows it isn't as crazy as that video out there now. It made her look like the bad guy.

That Monday was so terrible. They were treating her terrible only because she likes a straight girl who is with the hottest guy at their school. A couple that seems to cute that she played way to big of a threat (and Shane was the only one on her side). She left a little before lunch as she couldn't take the heat. And the fact that she can't get out of taking her exams in a room full of people who hate her at the moment? Well. She has been trying her best to ignore everyone while taking them.

Apparently yesterday after exams Karma stopped over. And Lauren told her to beat it unless she wants to get beat up. Lauren was pretty capable of pain if she was given the right motivation. Karma then left after a twenty-minute fight. Verbal fight that is as Farrah told Lauren to give it a rest and for Karma to please leave.

The woman has been finally getting to understand Amy. And the fact that she needs to be a grown up and put anything religious aside and help defend her daughter.

But she went to the one place after lunch where she could be alone. That was the place where only a few would know in case something terrible is happening. She didn't want to go up in the tree house as she can still imagine that night with Karma there. But then she realized that Karma would be able to find her as she was hoping it would be the last place she would look.

"Amy?" why didn't she just pick going to the movies instead? Dammit, Amy! Amy mentally scolded herself at this.

Amy looked over at her. She only could offer a sad smile before looking off into the ground. Karma took a seat next to her and sighed, "So I take it you saw that video too."

Amy tried her best to ignore the girl.

"Oh come on Amy! Write something!"

She didn't even grab her pen or paper.

"Amy Raudenfeld!"

Still not much movement from the blonde as she had that bored look on her face.

"I will follow you until you tell me something on paper."

Amy closed her eyes once again and continued to ignore her. She tried listening to anything else but her. Trying to make out what kids are shouting in the distance. She needed more of a distraction as the other girl's hand was in her hand. She then smiled a bit at Amy, "I broke up with Liam."

Amy opened her eyes and looked over at her. She gave that strange look. Why would she have dumped the most popular guy in school? Amy didn't want to even think that she played a role in this. That she dumped her... for her? No way. Amy and Karma were just close friends. Nothing more than that as she has to remind herself every day. The video also proved that she had no chance with her, or so she thought.

That was when Karma quickly started to talk. Something that made Amy's heard race a bit."Amy Raudenfeld, I am freaking in love with you! Or at least I think I am! I don't know, I don't want to sound lovesick but you have been stuck in my head. The past few days I have been worried sick about you. You are pretty much the sunshine to my day! I love seeing you smile when we are together!"

"Stop being sappy, I think that I love you too."

"And the fact that I don't even care that there is a chance that I am gay too! I mean I want to be with you! No one else in this world!"

"Okay, I get it."

"And trust me this isn't some kind of joke. I don't have some kind of camera on me. I am not doing this for more laughs next yea- wait a minute..."

Karma looked over at her. Her mouth dropped open. She couldn't comprehend what was going on. Did Amy just actually speak? Did Amy Raudenfeld have words come out of her mouth? Or was she just imagining this shit? Or maybe Amy could talk this entire time and Karma spoke way to much!

"You really need to calm down."

"You just... spoke... words. Oh my god. Am I imagining this? Or have you been talking this entire time? Dammit Amy! I am so confused." Karma got up. "Maybe this is all some kind of dream! And that when I get up you will still be mad and not talking to me at all!"

Amy sighed as she got up. "No, Karma. This is one hundred percent real."

The other girl took time to listen to her. Her voice seemed strangely okay for just talking again. But it still cracked every few words. Karma then took a deep breath. "Is this a strange joke?"

"Karma Ashcroft. No. You really have changed me... I didn't think I would find someone since Leaf. The last few weeks I have been practicing in the mirror when I am alone. Because of you. You are what makes me smile... and I think that I love you too..." Before the blonde could say anything else she found her lips with the other girl's. "Maybe we should give us a chance..."

"I liked you when you were silent. I think I am going to love you when you talk. Your voice... is so adorable." Karma stood up on her tippy toes and kissed the girl in between every word. "I will be by your house tonight at seven. And I think we should stay in tonight. And try and get you to say more."

Amy gave an awkward laugh. "Yeah. We have a lot to talk about."

Author's Final Remarks: I want to thank EVERYONE who has followed this story! I know that the ending wasn't that strong. And that it was much shorter. But I had to cut it down. This story may or may not have a sequel. I would have to draw every thing out for what could happen. I am proud with how it turned out! I hope you all do too. Look for more updates in the future! I am planning on having a one shot or two. I had another story planned for FI but I don't know if I will ever get around to writing it.

I am already having mixed reactions myself over how this ended. If it isn't getting positive things I can always try an alternate ending. I can just go back in and change things for you all.
