"Uhhh" I looked up at the hole I just fell through. It was a long ways up, at least 100ft. I seem to have survived due to some very soft bushes. The only light there was, was coming through the hole. A silhouette suddenly blocked it.

"Kathren! Are you alright!?" It was Law, the concern in his voice was very touching.

"Yeah," I called up, "I'm fine." I slowly got up, my bones cracking as I did.

"Hold on I will find something to throw down to you!"

"Ok." I looked around, I was in a cave. It was dark and damp.

"I can't find anything long enough!" Law yelled.

"Do you have any matches on you!" I yelled up.

"Yeah, hold on!" He dropped a box of matches through the hole. I caught them and found some sticks on the ground. By some miracle I managed to make a torch. Now that the cave was lit I could see a lot more of the cave.

It was huge and the rocks sparkled in the light. I saw multiple trails," Hey Law, I think I can get out! Just head to the mountain, I will meet you there!"

"But-"

"Just trust me, okay? I can survive on my own."

Law agreed to meet me at the mountain, but he wasn't happy with leaving me on my own.

"He's so sweet.. Okay, now which way to go? I can feel a draft coming through.." I moved to each tunnel and looked to see which way the fire was flickering. I eventually found a tunnel that had a slight breeze running through it. I walked the tunnel all the while hearing noises all around me. Creatures scurrying around hiding from the light. Water was trickling from the ceiling. Every step I took echoed.

I was walking for a while when I entered into a cavern that took my breath away.

Old ruins of an ancient city laid in the cavern. I walked past the ruins, peering into crumbling houses. I entered into what used to look like a town square. The city was made out of stone and strange carvings embedded in the street. Ancient texts were scattered on the ground. I wandered through the town trying to find a way up. My wandering took me to a castle. There was a spiked metal gate surrounding it. I opened the gate and walked up to the front doors of the castle.

The doors were a dark wood, with a gold trim and handles. There were tiny swirls of silver, making it sparkle in the light. It was beautiful that I didn't want to even touch it, but I touched the handles of the door, wanting to go inside. As soon as I touched the door, it opened.

I stood in front of a grand entryway, paralyzed with fear. For someone who is so smart, I sure am stupid. The lights were on.

Laws Pov.

It didn't take me long to reach the mountain, or to find the herb, but Kathren was still not there. I was getting more and more worried, the sun was high up by now. It's been a few hours since I have last seen her. "Dammit I shouldn't have left her down there by herself. She's probably lost, or worse..." I mused over the choices I had, I could continue to wait for her here, or I could go look for her.

The second option seemed like the best. I leaned up against the mountain and closed my eyes. Then the wall of the mountain gave and I fell into a trap door.

Kathren Pov

I guess no one could blame me for not noticing this. Everything was just so amazing, but of course I make one mistake and that could be the last. So, as a last minute decision I dived into the bushes that were at the side of the castle. That was my second mistake, for I didn't consider that there would be trap door under the bushes. Although this time when I fell, it wasn't a long way, but it was also a hard fall. "Ughhhh." I got up... sort of, I couldn't really stand up, the ceiling was to low. I decided to go for a crawl instead. The ground was gross, dirt, worms, spiders. "I don't think anybody had been down here for a while."

I tried not to think about the my current situation and just looked forward. After crawling for what seemed like forever, I final saw a dim light. I approached it cautiously, and peered down into a big room. There was a whole lot of junk in the room; chests, lamps, papers, sheets, mirrors, it was like a setting for a horror story.

As I was looking around the room I got out of the crawl space. That's when I saw something move in the corner of the room.

"Kathren!?"

"Law!"
