Chapter 14:
Soon their temporarily vacation has come to an end as Vincentia and Elektra begins to work on the staff to make the treats and drinks for the upcoming Council meeting with the Legendary Figures.
"Alright, we will be there at one o'clock in the afternoon tomorrow," the female head elf says into the kitchen's phone before hanging up.
She lets out a sigh of either relief or exhaustion. Then a small breeze of coldness touches her hair as it dances a little to the breeze.
"Why Little Sister!" gleamed the Frost as he appear before Vincentia.
"Big Brother!" Vincentia grins happily, running towards him. "I miss you," she mumbles, hugging him tightly.
"And I have missed you as well," he mumbles back, gently stroking her dark locks. "When Edgar told me that you were getting married, I immediately had to come for you."
"Thank you Big Brother. Oh there's someone I would like for you to meet."
"Oh and who is this someone you want me to meet?"
The head female elf gently grabs his snowy hand and takes him to the main kitchen.
"Elektra?" she calls out.
Elektra hears her mother's voice and quickly comes over to her. "Yes Mommy?" the little elf asked to her before noticing Jack Frost himself.
"Elektra," her mother smiles down to her. "This is your uncle Jack Frost."
"Uncle Jack?"
"Why my little niece is cute!" Jack Frost gleams at the cuteness.
"Uncle Jack is staying with us for Christmas and the wedding."
"Speaking of which," the legendary figure speaks up, "is there anything I can help with the wedding?"
"We have an appointment with bridesmaids' dresses fitting," noted the female head elf.
"Can Uncle Jack come with us?" Elektra asked with a huge smile.
"If it is okay with him."
"I would love to see them!" Jack smiles wide as well.
"Very well."
At the end of the day, the small family meets up with friends at the bridal store. Both matron of honor and bride to be are a little nervous about how the matron of honor's dress is going to fit. Recently, the former assistant of Santa Claus is expecting her first child with her newly husband. Even though it's still early, she have some weight on now.
One of the consultants has help the bridesmaid and flower girl to get into the rooms for their fitting.
"You must be chilled now child," her big brother says to her.
"I know, but I am going crazy because of the stress happening here."
"Bernard doesn't want you to be like this Vincentia," Edgar steps in. "You need to have faith that he will be here for your wedding."
"I know, but I know his family too well."
Then one by one each bridesmaid and flower girl comes out. Abby is wearing a long red dress with a halter top with a bow on the side of her waist. Judy's wearing the same dress, but it has a one shoulder on her right shoulder. Vincentia notice that the dress are flowy so the matron of honor's body issue wouldn't be a problem. So that gave her a sigh of relief. Elektra's dress is a green dress that has some puff at the skirt with red flowers all over the top part.
"I love them!" Vincentia finally let out her opinion.
"Mommy I love this dress!" Elektra smiles brightly.
"Judy?" the bride asked, nervously at her matron of honor.
There was short pause before saying, "the dress fits perfectly." A big smile appears on her face as she twirls around a little.
"I love this dress sister," Abby smiles as well.
"You know what," Jack speaks up before smiling, "I love them too."
"Me too!" Edgar says, smiling.
Seeing there is no more further alterations to the dresses, Edgar pays for the remaining amounts to get the dresses.
Before going back home with her small family, Vincentia decides to spend some time at the main balcony, trying to figure out some things. It's only days away from Christmas and her wedding that she doesn't have her husband to be still.
"Don't want a lot for Christmas
There's just one thing I need," Vincentia sings, looking up to the cloudy night sky.
"Don't care about those presents
Underneath the Christmas tree," Bernard sings along, sitting under a tree.
"I just want you for my own
More than you could ever know," Vincentia sings.
"Make my wish come true," Bernard sings.
"You know that all I want for Christmas
Is you…" the head elves sing together.
Vincentia walks away from the balcony to walk around the workshop, "I won't ask for much this Christmas."
"I won't even wish for snow," Bernard throws a snowball to a random direction. "No, I'm just gonna keep on waiting."
"Underneath the mistletoe," they both remember their first kiss.
"There's no sense in hanging stockings," the female head elf helps their daughter to hang their stockings over the fireplace. "There upon the fireplace."
"Cause Santa he won't make me happy," the male head elf touches his necklace "With a toy on Christmas Day."
"I just want you here tonight," Vincentia snuggles up in the covers "Holding on to me so tight."
"Girl, what can I do?" Bernard lays on his bed.
"You know that all I want for Christmas
Is you…"
By the next day, Vincentia checks out of the elves working on the next Christmas, noticing the lights around her, "And all the lights are shining
So brightly everywhere."
Bernard smiles at the younger elves, thinking about Elektra, at the family reunion, " And the sound of children's
Laughter fills the air."
"And everyone is singing," Vincentia sings.
"I can hear those sleigh bells ringing," Bernard sings.
"Santa won't you bring me the one I really love," Vincentia notices her boss helping out with some of the elves.
"Won't you please bring my baby to me…" a few tears fell down from Bernard's brown eyes.
Vincentia begins to walk home with Elektra, Edgar, and Jack Frost running around her, "I don't want a lot for Christmas."
"This is all I'm asking for," they both sing together.
"No, I just wanna see my baby," Bernard looks up to the night sky.
"Standing right outside my door," Vincentia sits on the living room couch.
"I just want you for my own
More that you could ever know," Bernard sings, crying a little more.
"Make my wish come true," Vincentia cries as well.
"You know that all I want for Christmas
Is you...
Is you…"
