Alexandria shrugged. The young Vikings weren't looking at her with distrust or loathing, but instead they were looking at her with longing; like they were waiting for her to come home.
It was then that a young five year old walked up to Alexandria. He had fiery red hair and emerald green eyes. "Miss Alexandria? When are you coming home?" he asked. Hiccup and Astrid looked over at Alexandria with surprise. "I'll be back home in a few days. Why do you ask?" Alexandria said. The boy looked at her shyly and said, "Because I want a dragon."
This statement surprised Alexandria as she had not heard of anyone wanting to tame a dragon in the Meathead clan just yet, much less a five year old boy. Hiccup on the other hand was glad a that a young boy wanted to tame a dragon, but he too was surprised that anyone in the Meathead Clan wanted to tame a dragon.
"What dragon do you want to tame?" Alexandria asked. The boy's eyes lit up as he said that he wanted to tame a Terrible Terror. This wasn't too farfetched as the Terrible Terror was considered more of a pet than a dragon on Berk. Dragons like the Terrible Terror were easy to take care of and perfect for young children while dragons like the Nightfury were difficult to tame and very hard to take care of.
"Hey Alex, maybe we should go to Arthur's house so we can see if this has been going on for awhile since you've been gone," Astrid suggested. Alexandria nodded and looked over at Hiccup. He had started to explain to the boy how to take care of a Terrible Terror as well as how to tame it. "Hiccup, you coming?" Alexandria asked. Hiccup looked up from the boy and said, "Oh! Where exactly are we going?"
"Over to Arthur's house," she said. Hiccup nodded and started to make his way over to Alexandria and Astrid who had begun to walk toward the little house. It didn't take long before they were at the front door and when they knocked on it James was the first one to answer. "Hey you guys. What can I do for you?" he said.
Alexandria explained that a boy had asked her when she was coming home and that he wanted to tame a Terrible Terror. James upon hearing this smiled and said, "That's been going on for awhile and now that you're coming home in a few days much of the younger Viking on the island want to tame their own dragons."
Alexandria smiled. She was happy that the Vikings of the Meathead Clan were already warming up to the idea of taming dragons rather than trying to kill the lot of them. "By the way Alexandria, Arthur is pretty happy with you staying with us when you return," James said.
This confused Alexandria a bit. She had only heard that she was going back home in a few days. She hadn't been told where she was going to be staying or who was going to take care of her. She turned to Hiccup who looked quite embarrassed by the whole thing. "Yeah, I may have suggested to my dad and Maria that you stay with Arthur and James," he said rather nervously.
"We don't have a problem with it, in fact we would welcome you," James said.
The inviting atmosphere that James and his wife were putting off made this a little better for Alexandria. Since she had gone to Berk she had overcome many of her fears and became more comfortable around others. To her this was another step in life to total happiness. "Thank you so much. I hope I won't be a bother when I arrive," she said. James and his wife laughed and smiled at her. "It would be our pleasure," James said.
Hiccup and Astrid smiled as well. They saw that Alexandria was going to be quite happy when she went back home. They also knew it was going to be a long time before they saw her again. Hiccup and Astrid had become great friends with Alexandria and would miss her a lot.
"We should be heading back to the ship," Hiccup said. Alexandria nodded and said goodbye to James and his wife. As the three of them walked out the door they saw that Arthur was waiting for them. "Oh... Hey Arthur!" Alexandria said. Arthur had the most nervous look in his face that Hiccup and Astrid had ever seen. It didn't help that Alexandria wasn't giving him a chance to speak.
Alexandria began to rant and rave about Star and how she was going to be the best houseguest that she could be. As she did so Arthur simply sat there , biting his lower lip and fidgeting. "Alexandria," he finally said. Alexandria stopped dead in her tracks and began to apologize for talking for so long.
"Alexandria please. I just wanted to say good luck," Arthur said, interrupting her apology. Alexandria began to blush as Arthur began to blush himself. "I really hope you'll be happy living with us," he said. Alexandria smiled and walked up to him. "I know I will," she said. She then kissed Arthur on the cheek and began to walked with Astrid and Hiccup back to the ship.

Author's Note: Alright guys, I know that this chapter had taken so long to get out and to be honest the total time I had worked on it was maybe six days. I am a total procrastinator and the days have felt like they have been going faster and faster. Anyway, Hope you all have a good Christmas and a happy new year.
