Chapter 13: Orc Attack!

Unkown Elfa: *glides in* Oh is it finally time for my debut? Good. *goes off to sharpen her daggers*

True She-Wolf: *laughs evilly* Yes my dear. Sharpen your daggers my precious.

Miss_Movie_Girl: …..Um, what's going on? *rubs eyes from waking up*

True She-Wolf: Don't worry your head about anything. I got this. So onto the chapter.

Miss_Movie_Girl: One quick thing. SO SORRY for taking so long with this. School and life have been taking over. Hopefully waiting for chapters won't take months and months like it has been. So yeah, hope you all have enjoyed Battle of the Five Armies if you have seen it! We'll get to the next two films at some point! Here we go!

Disclaimer: Our characters are our own. The others belong to the amazing J.R.R Tolkien. And New Line Cinema.

Having won the argument, Radagast took off in his rickety sleigh, having a grand ol' time, swerving this way and that. Orcs riding wargs chased him as he shouted, "Come and get me! Ha ha!" He then took off in the opposite way of Gandalf, who was being as sneaky as ever, was going.

From behind a rather huge boulder, Gandalf watched Radagast lead the orcs away from them. When the Brown Wizard was but a speck in the distance, he motioned for the company to follow him, saying, "Come on!" They moved swiftly over the rocky plain, eyes ever on the pack chasing Radagast. The other wizard was obviously enjoying himself as he went under arched rocks and executed tight turns, knocking orcs off their wargs left and right.

As the company runs over the plain some started to fall behind, prompting Gandalf to state that they stay together and avoid being separated.

"Where are you leading us?" Thorin exclaimed to the wizard as they stopped for a moment to catch their breath. Gandalf did not answer, however. If he was to tell Thorin where he was leading the company, Thorin would have been very displeased. Suddenly, the group noticed there was a warg right above them. Thorin gave Kili a nod, motioning his nephew to take a shot to the warg with his bow and arrow. He manages the task perfectly and the company continues on.

However, the company was soon to be surrounded by even more orcs with wargs. Luckily, Gandalf found a secret cave that was hidden nice thanks to the crack in the ground covered by a rock.

"This way, you fools!" Gandalf shouted. And everyone made a run for the crack in the ground. But several of the orcs followed. Before the orcs could get to any of them, an Elvish horn is played loudly from the distance, and soon the orcs are shot down with arrows. The elves had taken all of them down which allowed the company to continue the path of the cave.

The dwarves did not know where the path would lead to, but they followed it anyhow. What other choice did they have? It was a fairly long pathway, and narrow as well. Much easier to stay together thankfully. Soon enough, the pathway lead to an open area, a gorgeous one in fact. There was a valley below, accompanied by a beautiful city. The company gazed at the sight, especially the girls. They had never seen anything like this before. Even Audrey had her mouth hanging open.

"Look how beautiful that place looks!" Sera beamed. "What is it?"

"The Valley of Imraldis. In the common tongue it is known by another name," Gandalf answered with a smile.

"…Rivendell," Bilbo says afterwards.

"I'm guessing you knew that from one of your books, huh? You have quite a collection by the way," Megan said to him with a grin.

"Why, yes. As a matter of fact it was. And, thank you. You must have been the only one to notice."

"Sometimes I'm good at spotting the small things. But it's neat. I was never a huge bookworm. Sera and Emma, they read a lot. Audrey, not even. Glad to say I've read at least a bit more than she has."

Bilbo gave a small chuckle. "Well, I could lend you some if you like. When we go back that is."

"Yeah. Sure. That'd be nice," Megan gave him a soft smile.

"Here lies the last Homely House east of the sea," Gandalf said.

"This was your plan all along, to seek refuge with our enemy," Thorin spoke up, a hint of anger in his tone.

"You have no enemies here, Thorin Oakenshield. The only ill-will to be found in this valley is that which you bring yourself."

"You think the Elves will give our quest their blessing? They will try to stop us."

"Of course they will. But we have questions that need to be answered. If we are to be successful, this will need to be handled with tact and respect and no small degree of charm. Which is why you will leave the talking to me."

And with that, Gandalf led the group into the city of Rivendell. Bilbo was fascinated by the sight he saw. He had always dreamed about visiting a place like this, and now he was finally experiencing it. The girls wished they could take pictures to keep forever, but sadly they would have to rely on their photographic memory inside their minds. The dwarves felt a bit tense to be in the presence of an Elvish city, but maybe they would feel more at home once they have felt welcomed. Suddenly, an Elven figure comes down the flight of stairs to greet the group.

Miss_Movie_Girl: Wa-bam! Here it is! After so long the next chapter! Yay!
