Long time no see, eh?! *giggle* :P
So, who here is ready to find out what happens next in our beloved Bethan fairytale story! Huh?! Lol! ;P
Things are about to go down in Amaria, right now! Like, some serious stuff! So, you might want to prepare yourselves for what's about to come next! Cause this is it, folks! The moment you've all been waiting for! So, sit back! And get to reading, already! Will, yah?! *giggles* ;P
But first, it's time for some shout outs!:
k99y03- Thanks for adding this story to your follow list! And thanks for adding me to your favorite authors list and for following me, too! Also, thank you for favoriting/following some of my other stories, too! I'm glad you enjoyed reading them so much! :D
Jwugetmoney- Thanks for adding this story and MBAV Season 2 Tails Of Fun to your favorites list! :D
spacepan- Thanks for adding this story and it's predecessor (A Fairytale Kind Of Love) to your favorites list! :D
ohashiaayami- Thanks! *giggle* I'm glad you loved them so much! And wow! That's an accomplish, right there! Managing to read BOTH (or actually, up until this point in the sequel, that is ;P) stories, like that! I'd give you my hat, if I had one. But I don't. So, uh...how about a nice pat on the back then?! :D *gives you a friendly pat on the back, for a job well done* You've earned it! ;D It'd probably take me like...2 or 3 days just for me to finish reading all of A Fairytale Kind Of Love. And then probably another 2 or 3 more days just to read this one up to now! Lol! :D You must be one dedicated readers, huh? ;D
Louise- Thanks! I'm glad you think so! :)
champagnealec - Yes, he is! I can't just let the hero of our story die like! Lol! At least, not before he saves our adorkable spellmaster first, that is! ;P And yep...more trouble ahead for our daring heroes. I noticed that! Oh! But in case anybody doesn't know already (who I'm sure by now everybody already knows at this point) who's reading this! *clears throat* ATTENTION EVERYBODY! THIS HERE REVIEWER, CHAMPAGNEALEC, IS THE FORMERLY KNOWN AUTHOR, BETHAN FOREVER! There! Now everyone should already know that! :) Awe! Thanks! I too am also very sad to see it end, as well. But I am also very excited for my future stories to begin, like you are! I've been waiting a long time to finally get around to them. More with some than others, though! But I can't wait, nonetheless! :D
TiredOfBeingNice- Tee-hee! Sorry, for that. ;P But you know me! I love to keep you all in suspense! Lol! *bows down graciously at your applause* Thank you! Thank you, fanfic buddy! I must admit!...I've never even seen Game Of Thrones before, really. Lol! I've heard of it, but we don't get HBO in our cable package deal. Unless, we want to, but then we'd have to pay for it and yeah. :/ But I am glad that you really liked that little part of the chapter, though! :D In away, it's sort a hint to what's to come in this chapter, actually. You'll see, once you read it. ;) Really?! I'm so flattered that you think that! Lol! I guess, we can just add this fairytale to all those classic ones, out there then! Huh?! Lol! It'll be the first gay fairytale story, EVER! Lol! I would say maybe Disney would pick it up and turn both this one and it's predecessor into a movie, but both me and you know that Disney would never go for something like that due to their whole religious belief, thing. Although, I believe they are trying to get out of that a bit and catch up the 21st century and all. *giggle* But I still highly doubt they'll make a totally gay movie or tv series just yet, though. Right now, it's baby steps they're taking. Which I suppose is progress, to say the least! :) Anywoo, here's the next chapter now! I hope you enjoy it just as much as the last one! :D Though i'm pretty sure you're gonna want to kill me for what's to come. *giggles* ;P
Bennyweirlover17- Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it! Actually, with that part (with Alissa magically choking Benny) I sort a got it from Star Wars! It was suppose to be like she was 'using the force' against Benny to choke him! Lol! I just thought it would be fun to throw in one of Ethan's and Benny's favorite fandoms into the mix for a second. Lol! That and I believe there was a new Star Wars movie about ready to come out then, too, when I wrote that chapter. *giggle* ;P Lol! I think everybody wants that unicorn ride! Lol! But yeah...Alissa is such a pain, huh? And her evil deeds only get more worse from here. You'll see! ;D
Disclaimer: I do not own My Babysitter's A Vampire or any of it's characters. All I own is this story, it's plot, the fictional kingdom; Amaria, and the OC; Alissa.
The next day, the gang was all packed up and ready to go. Especially, Prince Ethan. He was ready to go and save the love of his life from the evil clutches of his nemesis, Alissa. They were almost to her evil castle, now.
"So, what do think that evil witch will have in store for us when we get there?" asked Erica nonchalantly.
Sarah just shrugged at her question. "Who knows, but you can bet that it won't be good, whatever it'll be. That's for sure." replied Sarah dryly, as they continued on with their journey.
"I'm sure that whatever Alissa may have planned upon our arrival, that we'll be able to handle it, like always. There's nothing that she can dish out that we can't triumph over!" stated Ethan bravely to the two female vampires. He was confident in their ability to handle Alissa's dark magic and tricks without much trouble, like they've done in the past before.
Evelyn, on the other hand, wasn't as sure about that. Unlike the others, who were confident handling Alissa's dirty tricks, didn't quite feel the same as they did after Ethan's little speech to them. For some odd reason she had a gut feeling that something bad was going to happen once they reached Alissa's castle. But instead of saying something about it, she decided to remain silent for now. She didn't want to ruin the young teenagers moral any by saying anything. Especially, since they were so close to their destination, now. She was afraid that it may lead to their lack of focus during the battle ahead of them if she was to tell them anything and thus potentially leading to one or many grave mistakes for them, as well.
Seeing her deep in her thoughts, Sarah got concern. "Hey, are you ok, Mrs. Weir? You look a little distracted about something." asked Sarah concernedly to the old lady.
Evelyn shook her head and then smiled at her warmly. "I'm fine, dear. Just...lost in my own thoughts, is all." she replied reassuringly. "There's no need to worry."
Sarah looked at her skeptically at first, but then smiled back at her as she decided to believe her. She trusted the old lady, after all, considering all the help she's given them in the past when going up against powerful foes. That and she figured that Evelyn must've been thinking about her grandson and worrying on whether he was alright or not, since they were so close now to rescuing him.
Eventually, they had finally made it to Alissa's evil domain a few hours later. The tension was high among the small group of friends, as they were ready to face Alissa and whatever else she may throw at them to prevent them from rescuing Benny.
They all stood there gazing up at the tall and bleak looking building in awe, as dark gloomy clouds lingered above in the sky. A bone chilling chill ran through Mrs. Weir as she could feel the evil magic that was radiating off the building in waves. No doubt about it, this was Alissa's castle alright.
"Now, what?" asked Rory dumbly, as he looked up at the stoned building. It was clear just how different this castle was compared to the one that Ethan's parents lived in. Their castle was made up of white or light gray colored stones and had more of an...inviting and welcoming kind a feel to it. Whereas, Alissa's was made of black or dark looking stones and was more...scary and uninviting. Not to mention, cold and dreary looking, as well. Totally, not the type of castle that he would love to stay in, that's for sure.
Before anybody could open their mouths to say anything, it was if Alissa herself had heard his exact words as she suddenly appeared before them out of nowhere in mid-air.
"Welcome, to my humble abode, my dear guests!" greeted Alissa warmly and invitingly to them, but they knew that the greeting was anything BUT warm and inviting. She smiled down upon them, as she gracefully floated down to the ground in front of them.
"Yeah, right. This place is anything BUT humble, like her. Am I right?" uttered Rory jokingly to the others in a low enough tone that only they could hear. Erica elbowed him in the side, meaning for him to shut up, but she couldn't deny the small crack of laughter she let slip out afterwards when he said it, though.
The prince, however, wasn't having any of Alissa's little games as he stepped forward bravely with a determined glare on his face. "Where is he, Alissa?! Where is my beloved, Benny at, you witch?!" he shouted at her demandingly.
Alissa glanced downward at him with an amused smirk on her face. "Do not worry, my dear prince. Your precious Benny is safe and unharmed. He is safely locked away in that there tower." she stated calmly, as she pointed up to a window that was high above her in the tower behind her. "You will find him there, no doubtly probably whining about how he misses his dear sweet pwince and how he awaits to be valiantly rescued by him, as well." mocked Alissa teasingly in a cooing/baby like tone when she had said 'dear sweet prince'. She then rolled her eyes annoyingly, afterwards.
Ethan gritted his teeth at her angrily. "I swear, Alissa! If you've harmed him in anyway, you'll regret it! I swear!" threatened the prince furiously.
Alissa just laughed. "I promise, prince. You shall find your wizard unharmed. Maybe a bit...magicless, perhaps, but very much unharmed nonetheless." she said, in a taunting like manner.
"Magicless?" repeated Evelyn curiously, with a bit of concern in her voice.
"Yes, magicless. As a fellow magic user yourself, I'm sure you've heard of something called...enchanted shackles, before? Am I right?" answered Alissa hintingly.
Mrs. Weir's eyes then grew wide with realization, as she did know what they were. She then glared daggers at the witch for restraining her grandson's magic.
Sarah looked over at the old lady with a concern expression on her face. "I'm taking that by your expression that you've heard of them before, then?" she asked.
Evelyn nodded. "I have." she answered. "They're shackles that have been infused with magic using ruin like markings etched onto them. They're designed to block the wearer's use of any magic while wearing them." explained Mrs. Weir. She looked over to see the worried and questioning look that was in her eyes, on whether or not if they were harmful to the person wearing them. "Don't worry, dear. They're completely harmless. Benny just won't be able to use any magic while he has them on, is all." she then said, answering the unasked question that was on Sarah's mind.
Sarah then gave a nod that she got it, while Evelyn could see the relief being reflected back in her eyes.
"You've blocked his magic!" yelled Ethan at the witch furiously, as he tried to go after her, but was held back by Rory, instead. Rory knew that she was probably goading him to come after her, which would be pointless considering she's up in mid-air and could fly whereas Prince Ethan couldn't. Rory didn't want his royal friend to make a big fool out himself, so he held him back.
Alissa laughed. "Well, of course I did! How else am I suppose to make sure that he wouldn't fight back or try to escape using his magic?" she stated in an obvious and mocking way. "If I let him do that then he wouldn't make a very good prisoner, then! Now, would he?" she mocked with a giggle and a wink.
Ethan lunged after her again, but Rory kept him back, again like before. Something about all of this didn't add up in his mind. "Something isn't right here. Why did she just tell us where to find Benny at so easily, like that?" he thought to himself quizzically. He then looked over at Mrs. Weir and could tell that she was probably thinking the same thing, too, before their attention was drawn back to Alissa.
Alissa floated there with a fake surprised expression on her face, along with a fake gasp. "Oh! But where are my manners! I almost forgot to send out the welcoming commitee to greet you all more properly!" she said endearingly, although you could tell it was fake. She giggled and smiled at the group below her, before snapping her fingers.
When she snapped her fingers, an army of her shadow minions caming running out the main door after them. Sarah, Erica, Rory, Ethan, and Evelyn soon got ready to defend themselves, as the creatures came after them.
Sarah, Erica, and Rory used their fists and feet to fight, while Evelyn used her magic on the minions. Ethan had drew his sword and started to slash away at the evil beings, taking them down one by one. The gang was busy trying to defeat them, as they fought with courage and bravery.
Alissa laughed at the sight, as they were completely out numbered. She wasn't about to make it that easy for them to get to Benny. She grinned evilly. "Good luck on making it to the tower!" she taunted teasingly. "I'll be waiting there for you! As well, as your darling little wizard nerd, too!" she stated smugly to them before breaking out into an evil cackle. As she laughed, she then began to disappear into thin air with her echoing laughter fading along with her.
After about ten minutes of fighting, some of the shadow minions numbers had been reduced greatly, but there were still quite a few left.
While fighting, Erica looked over at Rory and Rory looked over at her. They both gave a nod and then moved so that their backs were against each other.
"What do yah think, babe? Think we can take on this many on our own?" asked Rory to Erica with a hint of confidence in his voice, as he took out one of Alissa's shadow creatures.
She smiled smugly back at him. "Please! Have you met me? I'm Erica Jones! I'm fierce, feisty, and I live for kicking some serious ass when need be!" she informed cockily. "I've had to deal with waaay more crazy Dusk obsessed fans before at Comic-con one time, than this crap! Fighting these guys are piece of cake compared to that! At least, here I know I can take them out without having to hold back any!" she boasted proudly, as she punched the creature in the face and then kicked it in the stomach, making it disappear into a puff of black smoke.
Rory grinned and chuckled softly at his girlfriend's comment. Of course, he knew the girl could handle her own! She is a smokin' hot vampire babe, after all! Not to mention, his girlfriend, too! He knew that when it came to fighting for the ones she loves, that Erica was a force to be reckon with!
After sending another one of Alissa's minions flying, he then turned to face Erica. "That's my girl!" he praised proudly to her and then kissed her on the cheek before going back to fighting off Alissa's dark forces, again.
Erica smiled. "Hey! Princey!" shouted Erica towards the prince. After slicing down one of the shadow monsters, he looked over in her direction. "Why don't you, Sarah, and Mrs. Weir go on ahead! Me and Rory can handle it from here!" suggested Erica confidently to him.
Sarah over heard them and looked over at her best friend. "Erica, are you sure? There's still so many of them!" questioned Sarah concernedly.
"Of course, Sare! I'm Erica Jones! I can handle anything that's thrown my way! Plus, even though I may hate to admit it most of the time, but me and my Rory-roo make a pretty good team when it comes to kicking butt!" replied Erica confidently, as she took another creature.
Hearing Erica refer to him by one of his pet names that she sometimes liked to use, made Rory's heart flutter a bit, as a big love-struck smile spread across his face, then, while fighting. He loved it when she would use one of her pet names for him.
Sarah smiled at her, knowing she was right. Erica could take care of herself in a fight. Also, she had Rory with her and since he's dating her and loves to be the hero most of the time to show off, Sarah knew that he'd fight fiercely to protect her from any harm. Feeling more confident about it now, she gave a nod.
"Alright, Erica! I believe you, then!" agreed Sarah assuringly. "Good luck and we'll see you later!" she then said before taking off. "Ethan! Mrs. Weir! Let's go!" she commanded.
"But...Sarah? We can't just leave them here to defend themselves! It's not right!" interjected Ethan, disagreeing with the plan.
Sarah then went up to him and placed a comforting hand on his shoulder. "It's fine, Ethan! Trust me! I've known Erica much longer than you have and ever since she's became a vampire she's taken on this new sense of confidence and boldness when it comes to fighting back, now. Before, she used to be geeky and nerdy like Benny and Rory are and would be teased and bullied for it too, but since becoming a vampire she vowed to never let anyone bring her down again like that. So, now she fights with passion and heart when it comes to what she believes in. And right now what she believes in is us getting to Benny and rescuing him. She's not about to let some...shadow monsters get in the way of that, either. So, I know she'll be just fine because she believes in us and I believe in her." explained Sarah sincerely to him.
"Sarah's right, Ethan. Erica is a brave and strong young lady. She'll be just fine. You'll see." agreed Evelyn smiling softly at him, as she came up to them after blasting one of the creatures with her magic.
"What about Rory, then?" asked Ethan meekly.
"He can hold his own, too, when he puts his mind to it. And with Erica around, he'll definitely be doing that!" replied Sarah, with that last bit coming out as more of a sarcastic like joke. But it was true. During battle, if Erica is involved, Rory is more focused then ever. It's like with her being there helps keep him in line...most of the time, that is.
Ethan stared at Sarah for a moment with a doubtful expression on his face, but he decided to believe her, nonetheless. From the time since he's known the two blonde vampires, Sarah was right about them. Those two can hold their own in a fight. But he still hated the idea of leaving them behind to fight, while he, Sarah, and Mrs. Weir head on inside the castle to rescue Benny. Probably, because of his princely code to never abandon one's comrades in battle. But he decided to take Sarah's word for it and trust Erica and Rory on this one, as he reluctantly took off towards the castle's enterance with Sarah and Mrs. Weir.
Once inside; Ethan, Sarah, and Evelyn raced to find the stairs that led up to the tower that Alissa had indicated where to find Benny at.
"Look! Over there! That must be the staircase that leads up to the tower!" exclaimed Sarah, pointing in the direction the stairs were at.
The quickly made their way to the stairs and began the long climb up them. As they climbed the stairs, Evelyn couldn't shake the bad feeling that she had gotten from earlier. Only this time, it had felt even more worse than before. She didn't know why, but it really started to bother her.
"Be on guard, kids. No telling what else Alissa might send out our way to prevent us from getting to Benny." warned Evelyn cautiously.
"Alissa can send whatever she wants at us! It won't stop me from getting to Benny and rescuing him from her evil clutches!" declared Ethan determinedly in a brave like manner.
"I know, dear. But still..." replied Evelyn thoughtfully, as she paused in her words for just a second. She then shook her head to bring herself out of her thoughts. "I can't shake this feeling that...something bad is going to happen." she stated out loud, still thinking about it. "I can't be the only one who thinks that all of this just seems...too easy? Can I?"
Before anybody could answer, suddenly they were ambushed by more of Alissa's shadow monsters, charging down the stairs at them.
Ethan immediately started slashing at them, while Evelyn blasted them with magic. There wasn't as many of them like from before, but enough to slow them down at least.
"Ugh!" grunted Ethan, as he kicked one of the creatures in the gut and then slashed at it with his sword. "We don't have time for this! No telling what kind of torture Alissa is putting my darling Benny through!" he exclaimed frustratingly, as he fought off another shadow minion.
Sarah then kicked one herself, sending it flying into the wall and vaporizing afterwards. "You go on ahead, Ethan! Me and Mrs. Weir can handle these guys!" she then said to the prince.
Ethan looked over at her like she was crazy. "What?! Are you sure?!"
Sarah nodded, while Evelyn gave him a reassuring smile. "Of course, dear! I may be old, but I still have some fight left in me!" reassured Mrs. Weir confidently to him. "Now, go and save my grandson, already! Will yah?!" she urged impatiently, but in a kind and gentle like manner.
Like before, Prince Ethan was a bit hesitant in leaving his friends behind to face Alissa's evil forces on their own, but he had no choice in the matter. His Benny needed him and it was clear that Sarah and Mrs. Weir were perfectly capable of taking care of themselves, just as Erica and Rory were, as well.
So, with that in mind, he instantly took off up the stairs the moment that Mrs. Weir had created an opening for him to get through, after sending a powerful blast of light right through the dark evil creatures.
Ethan rushed up the rest of the stairs in post haste until he finally reached the only floor at the top. There, he saw the only door on the floor at the other end.
"Benny..." whispered Ethan breathlessly to himself. He instantly ran down the hall and towards the door to where his beloved was waiting at.
"Benny!" he shouted the moment he reached the door, only to find it locked. He then started to bang on the door using his body and shoulder as a ram, until finally the door's lock gave away and he came bursting into the room.
When he looked up he saw Benny sitting by the window, just staring out it. "Benny?" he called out hopefully. The moment he saw Benny turn his attention towards him, a huge smile spread across Ethan's face. "It is you!" he called out happily, once he saw that it really was him.
A wide smile soon appeared on the spellmaster's face as well, as he instantly got up from where he was sitting at and ran over to engulf his boyfriend in a big hug, as tears came streaming down his cheeks.
"You came! You came to rescue me!" cried Benny joyously. "My hero!"
Ethan smiled. "Of course, I did, my dear Benny! I would never abandon you at the hands of Alissa! You are my one and only love! So, of course I'd rescue you! No matter the danger!" stated Ethan genuinely to him, with love and admiration in his voice when he spoke.
They stayed like that for a minute before Ethan jolted back to take a quick and worrisome look over his boyfriend's body to make sure he wasn't hurt or anything. "Are you alright, though, Benny! She didn't harm you anywhere, did she?" he exclaimed frettingly.
Benny chuckled. "No, my love! I'm perfectly fine! There's no need to worry!" he reassured happily back at him. Ethan sighed out in relief, but then smiled happily back at him.
"Good!" replied Ethan. "I don't think I could live with myself if anything bad ever happened to my darling, Benny." he said in relief.
"Same here, my prince!" agreed Benny genuinely with a warm smile.
Ethan was so happy to see his true love again, that he leaned forward, with his eyes closed, to kiss him. Something he's been dying to do ever since they were torn apart from each other.
Sadly, though Prince Ethan had missed a few key details about their happy little reunion together, that just didn't add up. But he was too happy to see Benny again to even notice any of them.
As he went in for the kiss and their lips touched, Ethan didn't see that Benny had kept his eyes opened and was smirking into the kiss, instead. Behind Benny's back, he held out his hand in an open palm gesture, as he magically summoned a dagger to appear in it.
Right then, the prince suddenly felt a sharp stabbing pain in his abdomen. The prince gasped out in pain and took a step back from Benny, who was evilly grinning at him.
"B-Ben...Ben...nnyyy?" stuttered Ethan weakly, as he placed a hand down where the dagger had went through. He looked downward where the dagger was still sticking out at with a look of disbelief and horror on his face. When he looked back up at Benny he noticed his vision getting blurry and starting to go dim on him. He saw Benny standing there chuckling lowly with that evil grin still on his face, but the only thing is...
A/N: Aaaand we're gonna end it there, folks! Lol! That's right! Right on another cliff hanger! With an incomplete sentence this time! ;D You're welcome! Lol! :P
So, what did you all think? Lot's of action and drama, huh?! And what's up with Benny?! Why on Earth would he ever dare to hurt his dear precious and sweet prince, for?! Like, has he totally lost it or something?! And what will the rest of that unfinished sentence say?! So, many questions! Lol! But I'm afraid you're just gonna have to wait until the next chapter to get the answers, though. Sorry. ;P
Anyways, don't forget to review! And until next time, I'll be seeing all you around later! Bye! :D
