I'm sorry I haven't updated in like 2 months but that is because I have been so so busy with school and so other personal things. Anyway, I also decided that I was going to fast forward the story to a week after the karaoke thing as I found not many people liked it and I had no idea what I was doing or where I was going with it. I have decided to just update hen I feel like it so bare with me people.
Tris POV
Today is the day when the initiates find out which two of them will be leaving, its also visiting day. I think Caleb is coming to Dauntless this year to see me. Mum said that she would try and bring my dad with her when she came. I've still not seen him since that day when I let my blood sizzle on the coals, over two years ago.
I am snapped out of my thoughts by seeing Tobias standing in the bathroom with just a towel around his… bottom half, his face covered with worry. "Tris? Are you okay?" he asks, "Yeah, just thinking about today" I reply. I jump out of the bed and walk into the bathroom to take my shower.
"Can I join you?" Tobias asks from the doorway. "We have to meet the initiates in one hour and you've already had a shower Toby." He pouts, "It'll be quick, also I don't mind showering again but with you this time."
"Fine" I sigh.
I just broke the page, Nooooooooo
Me and Tobias walk into the pit hand in hand in search of my mum, Caleb and possibly my dad. We spot Caleb standing alone looking around for us so we walk over to him. "Hey Caleb" I say. "Oh, Hey Tris and Four" He says back still looking around. "Who are you looking for?" Tobias asks. "Well, I saw some people in grey walking around and I am trying to find them and see if its mum and dad." Caleb answers. "Okay" I say starting to look around.
I see the abnegation transfer Sophia standing with two people in grey and my hopes are no longer there. "Wait here Tris" Tobias says before walking off into the crowd of people.
"So how are you doing here Tris?" Caleb asks. "I'm doing great, I moved in with Four after last years initiation. How about you?" I reply. "Great too, I have a girlfriend called Marie who came from Amity. Quick question, are we going back to your apartment to talk once we've found out if mum and dad are here?" He says. "Yeah why?" I ask him. "I'll tell you then." He says noticing that Tobias is coming back over followed by two people in grey. Mum and Dad.
"Four, who do have with you?" I ask him whilst grinning. "Well Six, I have Mr and Mrs Prior with me" He says standing aside so I can hug my parents. "Hey mum and dad" I say as Caleb hugs them, "Beatrice, you've changed so much. Tattoos and tight clothing…." My dad says. "Caleb, you have changed a lot too son. When did you get glasses?" He says to Caleb and they chat about his life for a little while.
"Tris, can we talk in your apartment?" My mum says. I nod and everyone follows me and Tobias to our apartment.
I open the door and we all walk in and sit down, "Do you guys want a drink?" Tobias asks Caleb and my parents. "Water please" My mum says and the others agree so Tobias gets us all some water.
"Beatrice, your boyfriend Four how old is he?" My dad asks. "Dad, it's Tris now, and Four is 20." I answer him. "Isn't he a little old for you?" He asks. "No dad its only 2 year age difference." "Okay, have I met him before Tris because he seems familiar to me." He says.
"Sir, I transferred from Abnegation 4 years ago." Tobias says walking in with drinks. "Caleb, what did you want to tell us?" I ask Caleb trying to get the subject away from Tobias.
"Well, I started working in a high postion in Erudite when Jeanine came to me with a special position. I thought you might know what being 'Divergent' means." He finishes and me and Tobias share a look. "What exactly is this job Caleb?" My mum asks looking worried.
"I have to hunt down and kill Divergents."
