Ill be honest here, I haven't written in third person in a while so I'm pretty rusty at it. I write mainly in first person by now. But I'll try to do my best. This is short and probably pretty bad, just let me know what you think.
~TILIGER
Jace woke in a cold sweat. His chest bear chest was covered in sweat.
"A dream," he said out loud to no one. "It was just a dream.
He quickly got up from his bed and made his way into the bathroom. He looked at his reflection. His golden hair was tousled in every direction; his skin was paler than usual. Then there were his eyes. They were dull. No longer the bright gold everyone described them as.
Jace turned the faucet on and splashed his face "Just a dream. Just a dream."
"Jace," he heard Alec call. "Are you in here?"
He dried his face off. "Yeah, in here."
Seconds later, Alec appeared in the door way with a phone in his hand. He gave Jace a questioning look when he saw him. "Are you—"
"I'm fine," he snapped.
"Okay then," he said, rubbing the back of his neck. "Well I have some news. You'll never guess what it is."
"Someone died?"
"You suck at his game, you know?"
"Yeah and I really don't care, are you going to tell me what happened or not?"
Alec rolled his eyes. "Everyone finally convinced Jocelyn to shorten the girls' visit to London! They'll be back I six months!"
"Cool," Jace said, not exactly paying attention to what Alec had just said. He was still freaked at by his dream.
"COOL?" A female voice screeched.
Jace's eyes widened as Alec turned the phone around to reveal a hot headed red head. Clary.
"Clary, I—"
She held up a hand. "I don't want to hear it, Jace. I don't want to hear it. I thought you would be a little bit more excited that I would be coming home early but obviously I was wrong."
"You're still going to be gone for while!" Jace yelled. "It doesn't matter!"
She just rolled her eyes as she handed her phone away to Isabelle. "I'm done."
Isabelle glared at Jace. "Nice going, now I have to deal with this for the next six months."
And with that, the conversation ended. It ended right then and there. Little did Jace or Clary know that they wouldn't talk to each other for four weeks.
