Ch. 10

~Los Noches/ Normal POV~

It has been almost a month since Uzaria had come to save her friends. As the days dragged on she noticed that some of the other espada were…familiar. Aaronniero, Barragon, Szayel, Tia, and Ulquiorra remind her of the ones she once knew. Aizen had called on her many times to ask questions. It wasn't until today that she would go away.

~Uzaria POV~

I made my way as always to Aizen's thrown room. I knew something was going to happen today. I walked in and he smiled that creepy smile at me.

"Ah, you have arrived my Kitsune. I have a mission for you." He said. "You see, I need to know what's going on in the soul society. You are to get there and get me information." I stared at him like he was loon.

"You do know as soon I step one paw there I am caught right? I do not want to be killed for your…cause." I replied as he sat there.

"You're just going to have to be sneaky now aren't you? You leave in ten. I will open a way for you to go in." with that I was dismissed. I walked to my room to make sure I got what I needed when I heard my door open and in walked Starrk.

"Where are you going?" he asked as he hugged me.

"…My first Mission…" I replied quietly. He tightened his hug.

"What is it?"

"…I'm to get info in the soul society…"

"What! You'll get killed!" He cried out.

"I know. I'll try to get back safely." I said as I got out of his hug and gave him a small kiss and headed to the door. "I Promise." I said and left.

~soul society~

I walked around in my fox form keeping my energy low and staying hidden. I made it passed the guard and wall and was now in a captain meeting. I got all the information he wanted and made my way back to where I would be picked up. Of course since when is anything easy for me. I had almost made it when I heard a noise and jumped away from the hand that was about to grab me. I turned to find…Byakuya Kuchiki…Great.

"Uzaria you are to be arrested for helping Aizen." He said and I growled at him and transformed.

"You make it sound as if I was given a choice. GUESS WHAT I wasn't. I gave myself up to save my friends! And if you start that whole you could leave I can't! That bastard made sure that there was a virus that would make them sick and die! Your sister has it as does all the captains that were there! I am not going to be responsible for their deaths!" I said and jumped into the air. A hole appeared and I jumped in.

~Los Noches~

I dropped into the front door of Los Noches and made my way in and to Aizen's thrown room again to report what I found... I won't tell him I'm happy to know my cousin, my ba-chan, my o-jiji, and all my friends are on their way here. I entered and he sat there again waiting.

"Ah, you have returned. Do tell what is going on?" he asked.

"According to the Captain meeting I was in, Ichigo and his group alone with two unknowns are on their way here. There was talk about a fake town and sending captains here to…apprehend you and everyone here including Ichigo's group, for they are here against orders." I replied with a scowl on my face.

"Is there a problem?" he asked amused.

"No, just wondering if I can strangle my cousin for his stupid and risky plan." I said and he chuckled.

"Well anyway you are free to go to your room or anywhere her in Los Noches but you will have a new watcher." He said as the doors opened to revile Ulquiorra…Great… "Now you may go." With that I left to go to my room.

"So, you're my new babysitter? Hope you don't get too board." I said as I lay the bed and open my journal to write about to day and then my songs and poems.

Memories of pain, fear, and sadness,

Memories I wish to forget.

Why can't I forget?

Was it my fault?

The memories of my past well never go away,

They will never fade.

Maybe in time they will.

I hope they will.

The pain, fear, and sadness can't fade away.

Am I alone?

Am I to blame?

Will these memories ever fade?

Ever leave?

Will I ever be free?~

I finished my poem as I felt something behind me. I look up to see Ulquiorra leaning over and staring at my poem.

"Is it?" he asked blank faced.

"Is what it?"

"Your fault?"

"Oh, the poem. I don't' know it feel like it. It like my fate…." I burst out giggling.

"What are you giggling at?"

"I- it just I remember one of my friends, my true friends. He would always say about how fate is everything. When we fought…I beat the fate right out of him." I turned sad. "He died on a failed mission along with a few of my other friends. Their names were Haku, Kakashi, Iruka, and Neji…" I didn't notice his face had changed. "I was the only one who made it back…I wish I tried harder…Maybe they would still be here. Maybe after this I can go see if they are in the soul society." After I had finished talking a pair of arms reached around me and hugged. "Wha?" I look to see its…Ulquiorra.

"It wasn't your fault it was the council that sent us on that mission knowing we would die, they wanted us out of the way so they could have you." He said and was confused. 'The hell is he talking about?' I thought and calmed down so I could feel his energy. 'Cold, lavender, fast…' I gasped.

"NEJI?!" I said.

"Yes, it is good to see you're ok, Uzaria." He said as he let go of me and Starrk came in. he looked at both of us.

"Did I miss something?" Starrk asked.

"Yes. It seem more of our true friends made it here other then you." I said.

"Who's he?" Starrk asked. I giggled.

"Shika meet Neji, Neji that is Shika."

"Oh."

"Troublesome…."

"Do you think there are others? I feel something around some of the others." I asked as they sat next to me on the bed. Starrk lifted me onto his lap and hugged me.

"Maybe…if there are we need to find them and then plan a way to not get killed with Aizen." Starrk replied nuzzling into my hair.

"I agree with starrk. I don't want to die again thank you very much." Ulquiorra said.
