A/N: Hey. More increase, hurray! To the new readers, welcome aboard to this shipping of Elsa and Jack Frost, and the captain in charge is a moody, insane man child. I won't sink this ship like the damn Titanic, otherwise I'd make myself depressed. Now an epic chapter is to be typed out. Yay.
The upcoming wedding is on next Saturday, April 19, 2014 and my time in Korea has been...mixed feelings. I was in France before I came to Korea so I'm used to fast driving, but here, it's a complete 180 degrees switch. I get stuck in the damn taxi and the road is constantly lagging = more money for the taxi driver, less money in my wallet. Boo. I get so stressed out when I get stuck in the middle of the road. The safest spot for me to stay at might be the park where I hang upside down on the monkey bar while eating an ice cream bar. I warned you that I'm a man child so no judging allowed. If I continue ranting...I won't write out the chapter which will result with you killing me...so I'll shut up and write. Cheers.
Jack kept the windows open and formed an armchair for himself with a wave of his hand. He sat on top of the armchair and remained eerily silent as he stared at the inky clouds cover the moon like a curtain draping over a window.
He could hear Elsa poke the coke in the hearths and soon he could feel the room temperature heating up. From the corner of his eyes, he could see red and orange tongues of flame lick the air before cracking loudly.
"Are you worried?" Elsa asked. She walked towards Jack with fresh garment covering her flesh.
"Yes," Jack curtly replied.
In return, he asked, "Are you cold?"
She shook her head and said, "No, I just don't want your friends to be cold when they arrive."
Jack smiled and commented, "How courteous of you."
Elsa said, "First impressions are very important."
The room became silent as they looked out the window together. Elsa whispered, "When do you think they'll arrive?"
Jack shrugged and said, "I don't know, but if they're close, we'll hear them..."
Jack stayed transfixed near the window and Elsa also formed an armchair next to him. The only sound they could hear was the fire hissing. They could feel their eyelids grow heavier every minute.
Suddenly, Jack's eyes flew open as he noticed the disturbance in the air; the wind moved unnaturally. He could see the air wrinkle like a crumpled piece of paper as space and time forged a portal.
As Jack remained seated on the comfortable armchair, he smiled and whispered, "The Guardians are here."
Elsa rubbed her eyes and asked, "They are?"
Jack smirked as he heard the familiar sound of reindeers' hooves pounding on air and a voice scream, "I hate your bloody damn sleigh!"
Elsa watched with wonder as a large sleigh drew closer and closer to her castle; it looked almost as if the sleigh had flown down from the moon. Before the magical sleigh reached her room, a stranger flew faster and closer to her home than the sleigh itself.
She could hear Jack's chuckles and she continued to gaze at the figure. The creature had wings and feathers. She frowned and asked, "What is that?"
Jack smiled and answered, "That would be the famous Queen of the fairies, Toothiana."
During his introduction of Toothiana, the fairy perched on Elsa's windowsill and flashed her beautiful rows of teeth. She tucked her ruffled feathers and wiped the dust off of her wings before greeting the two.
Toothiana grinned and focused on Jack. "My darling, you truly look like a royal now- sitting on that icy throne of yours. Absolutely perfect."
The fairy caressed Jack's right cheek and started to play with his mouth once more. Jack stopped her hands and stood up from his seat and said, "Toothiana, you are being quite rude, only focusing on me."
The fairy's purple eyes turned to see Elsa, who icily stared back. Toothiana pulled her hands away from Jack and smiled. "I'm sorry sweetheart, who would you be?"
Elsa straightened her back and folded her hands together as she said, "I am the heir to the throne of this kingdom; future Queen Elsa."
They flinched when they heard a great, loud screech outside the window. Sandman hopped into Elsa's room and clicked his tongue in dismay. The chubby, round man bowed his stubby back and tipped his golden fedora to Elsa.
Jack laughed happily and said, "Sandman! It's so good to see you! Where are the other guys?"
Despite of Sandman's inability of speech, the man whistled when he laid eyes on Elsa. Sandman grinned and planted a kiss on her hand and formed a golden blossom behind Elsa's ear. The small blossom bloomed into a golden flower and golden butterflies fluttered out of the flower.
Elsa smiled and said, "These are beautiful."
Jack lightly punched the round man's shoulder and jokingly said, "Sandy, you little show off."
Then they heard two loud groans from the window: Bunnymund supported Nicholas St. Nick while his own furry legs buckled. Bunnymund lost the attitude he always carried as he groaned and slumped out of the sleigh. The rabbit spat, "That was the worst back of a Bourke ride you've every offered, Nick! Why couldn't you let me just use the rabbit hole?"
Jack was shocked when he saw Nick's ghastly state; the old man face had noticeably paled and his long, thick beard were coiled into knots along with his thin hair. The giant slouched and held his stomach tightly. The two Guardians immediately sat on the frozen chairs without saying another word.
Jack stated, "You look awful."
Bunnymund glared at Jack and sneered as if to say, 'No shit, Sherlock.'
The Guardian of fun asked, "I know that you got motion sickness, but what's wrong with Nick?"
Toothiana shook her head sadly and said, "He's been like that for weeks now."
A bead of sweat dripped from Nick's forehead as he said, "Something bad is going to happen- I can feel it in my tummy."
Jack agreed, "I know what you're talking about- it's Pitch. I think it's Pitch Black. He's planning to attack us, well not just us. I believe that Elsa has also become his newest target too. He attacked during her sleep tonight."
Bunnymund, who finally recovered from his temporary illness, asked, "Why would he attack the beautiful lady here?"
Jack sighed and said, "I don't know..."
Elsa, gathered her courage and joined the meeting of the Guardians. "Jack and I- we are assuming that this enemy- God, I don't even know who this man or spirit is- targeting my homeland and I."
Toothiana spoke in a serious tone, "Our enemy is Pitch Black and he's the worst enemy to have. He's probably going after you, Jack, for revenge from your last fight. He's probably using Princess Elsa as a medium to get to you," she added in sadly, "since you love her."
Elsa asked, "A fight? What fight?"
The fairy explained, "Over a decade ago, Pitch Black wished to conquer the world by submerging it into darkness. Our Jack was just a sapling back then, but he fought bravely as the newest Guardian amongst us all."
Jack rubbed his forehead and said, "I let him escape at the end because I didn't want to be guilty for his blood. If I had known that he would repeat the event, I would have killed him...I shouldn't have shown him mercy."
Elsa rested her hand on Jack and said, "No, Jack. You did the right thing. Showing mercy and kindness are way harder than simply eradicating those you hate or fear. I know that you did the correct thing in the past and you shouldn't regret it."
Nick groaned before saying, "I agree with the princess. What you did was correct."
Sandman conjured a question mark over his head and Bunnymund nodded his head. Bunnymund said, "If our assumptions are correct, when will he strike?"
Everyone looked baffled by the important question and looked exasperated as they didn't know the answer to the golden question. Nick wheezed, "Is there a time when a lot of people come to the palace?"
All the Guardians focused on Princess Elsa and she gave a quick answer. "Coronation."
Jack repeated the word, "Coronation...right. Your coronation."
Elsa bit her lips and dug her fingers through her hair. She nearly shouted in frustration and fear, "I will have hundreds of guests from afar and from Arendelle. That's already terrifying and now there's a maniac, vengeful man coming to my coronation."
She waved her arms and said, "Fantastic!"
Jack said, "We need to stay to guard you and Arendelle. Pitch will definitely take the opportunity to infiltrate Arendelle."
Bunnymund asked, "How are we going to blend in?"
Jack gasped and suggested, "Why don't you guys disguise yourselves as humans like I have?"
Bunny agreed, "That's a good idea. However, will the man in the moon agree to it?"
Jack sneered and said, "The man in the moon must allow you guys to change back if it is in fact that Pitch is going to attack us."
Everyone looked around and peeked out the window. The dark clouds have passed and the silver moon beamed it's light throughout the dark. Jack and the others stared at the moon and the Guardians asked, "Lunar, may we regain our human forms? It's needed in order to defeat Pitch and you know that."
Their requests were granted as they were bathed in the moonlight. Jack blinked in awe and watched his friends return to their human forms.
Nicholas St. Nick's hair changed from white to dark grey and his built shrunk. The man now wore red, baggy clothes.
Bunnymund's hind legs straightened into a man's leg and his grey and white fur quickly shed away. His fur changed into thick hair and it changed from grey to black and paled into dark golden hair. His arms lengthened and his shoulders widened. Bunnymund's new patch of hair was slicked back and he was a muscular, yet lean man who reached the height of 5.9 ft. Bunnymund touched his sharp jawline and felt the stubble beneath his bare hands.
Elsa averted her eyes as Bunnymund stood as a naked man. Jack quickly unbuckled his pants and passed it to Bunnymund who quickly wore the clothing. Jack stood in his boxers and the three men averted their eyes as Toothiana started her transformation. Toothiana gasped in shock as her blue and golden feathers began to drop and pool around her feet. As her feathers fell, they revealed her true, underlying skin tone- it was evenly tanned as her skin had been kissed by the sun while working, yet the natural milky, soft undertone remained. Toothiana's golden, crowning feathers turned into jets of straight, black hair and her eyes changed from the deep hue of purple to deep, hazel brown. Her newly-found black hair barely passed her shoulders.
Elsa barked, "Boys, you go stand in the corner. Now!"
Jack, Bunnymund, and Nicholas St. Nick quickly obeyed and headed towards the corner of the room. They stared blankly at the ivory wall and they started to whisper to each other.
Bunnymund whispered, "Damn. Never knew that Toothiana looked like that! What a woman."
Jack chuckled and agreed, "Yeah. She looks drop dead gorgeous."
Bunnymund sniggered and asked, "Want to take a peek?"
Jack cleared his throat and said, "And get sliced up by Tooth? No thanks. I've got a coronation to attend to. I don't want to go to my funeral before that."
Nick smack both of their heads and said, "Be gentlemen. Don't peek."
Bunnymund's lips pouted while Jack muffled a laughter.
A new husky voice said, "You may turn around." The voice was extremely deep and the tone was soft and quiet. They turned around to meet a man with dark, short, bristled hair. The man wasn't as tall as Jack or big as Nick; he was a tiny bit round. The man wore a golden cloak and the three men hesitantly said, "Sandman?"
Sandman chuckled and said, "Yours truly," and bowed.
Jack gasped and jumped excitedly as he said, "You can talk now!"
Sandman said, "Of course I can. I'm a man now."
Bunnymund whistled and Sandman smiled gently as two young women joined their crowd. Nick muttered, "Wow."
Elsa smiled and said, "I lent Toothiana one of my dress."
Toothiana asked, "How do I look?"
Nick said, "You look great."
Sandman said, "Superb."
Bunnymund snickered and said, "Sexy."
Jack said, "Stunning."
Toothiana said, "Look at all of us. We look so different...maybe we should tell each other who were before we became a Guardian."
Nick laughed and said, "A wonderful idea. I was part of the Soviet Army in Russia!"
Bunnymund said, "I was a ranger in Australia."
Sandman said, "I was a dancer in Egypt."
Toothiana sighed before announcing, "I was part of the pre-colonial Filipino nobility."
Jack said, "That's why you know so much about manners and rules and politics and stuff!"
Toothiana giggled and said, "Yes, Jack."
Elsa said, "I already sent out the invitation to the other kingdoms and Jack was part of the guest list. So how are we going to add you guys?"
Jack thought for a moment before saying, "We can have Toothiana visit Arendelle as a Queen and there won't be a problem since she was and still is a Queen."
Nick shouted, "Oh! Oh! I can be Jack's guard!"
Jack grinned and said, "That'd be cool."
Jack turned around and looked at Bunnymund and Sandman. He pointed at Sandman and said, "Sandy can be my consultant."
Bunnymund asked, "What about me?"
Toothiana said, "Why don't you be the handsome butler?"
Bunnymund frowned and asked, "Whose butler?"
Jack grinned mischievously and claimed, "Mine."
Bunnymund shouted, "Absolutely not! Over my dead body!"
Elsa giggled and said, "It's true Jack, you've got Sandy and since Toothiana is a Queen, she should get Bunnymund as her butler."
Toothiana smirked and said, "I wouldn't mind that at all."
Bunnymund said, "Shite. You are planning something devious, aren't you."
Toothiana stuck her tongue out and said, "Yup! I'm thinking about all the impossible things for you to do for me!"
Bunnymund rolled his eyes and said, "I'd rather go with Jack then."
Jack shrugged and said, "I'd do the same thing you know."
Bunnymund groaned and concluded, "Fine, fine, fine. I'll go with the annoying Queen."
The five busily laughed and joked while planning Elsa's coronation and never noticed a large shadow escape under the door. The ominous shadow glided and slithered across the floor until it reached outside. It laughed darkly and flew far away from the kingdom of Arendelle.
