The Story of the Broken Hearted Brothers

(A/N: I feel like not a lot of people want to read this anymore so this is the plan. I'm going to release the remaining chapters all together in parts throughout Thanksgiving Break. Once the series is done then more stories such as Personality Siblings and the Alchemist Who Couldn't Perform Alchemy can be finished and Invisibility can start! Chapter Thirteen – The Battle of Lost Brother's (Part II)

"I want to eat you!"

Izumi and Hohenheim watched as Gluttony lunged at them full force, his rough tongue flying in the air. Both of them quickly dodged it, and right after clapped their hands in unison and sent thick concrete walls hurling at the eating machine. Even though their enormous attack hit him in straight in the face, he managed to each it.

"Damn, this Homunculi is going to be hard to kill!" Izumi cursed.

Hohenheim nodded while wiping his sweaty face and looking at his decaying arm, "I think that we might be running out of time Mrs. Curtis."

Izumi turned to him, catching a glance at his body. "I understand. This gives us both an even stronger reason to fight!" she clapped her hands and slammed them into the earth beneath her and summoned a long spear similar to the type that the Elric Brothers used.

"Oh! A new snack to eat! I can't wait! It'll be so yummy!" he charged once more.

"Mr. Elric! We need to start now!" Izumi yelled back at him. He stared at her. He wasn't sure it would work. But it was for the future of his sons. And he had to do it no matter what the costs were.

Hohenheim took a piece of chalk and placed it on the ground. Then started circling Izumi and Gluttony in a weird pattern that Gluttony didn't understand. Izumi screamed and stabbed Gluttony in the head, causing him to fall on the ground. After that she flipped back and when noticing that Gluttony was trying to get back up she threw it in his stomach, knocking him back once more.

They had done it. While Izumi was distracting Gluttony Hohenheim had been drawing a special Transmutation Circle that Alphonse had told them about.

"A Deconstruction Circle?" Mustang asked. Alphonse nodded and showed all of them an ancient paper with strange patterns on them.

"You don't need their remains to remove their Philosopher Stones. Once they're inside this, the stones will be forced out of their body and any wounds they have will become fatal to them. This is what we'll use to destroy the Homunculi!"

Izumi closed her eyes, "I'm sorry that you were wrongfully brought into this world. But now you can depart from this hellish place forever!"

Gluttony rose, but before he could eat her it was already too late for him. His body flashed green and suddenly his head shot to the ground. Izumi had activated the circle.

Stones began spilling from Gluttony's mouth. And over all of this he was still able to speak, "M-MY lUsT!" his body fell limp to the ground "dO nOT! HURT my LUST! AHHHH!"the last stones spilled from his mouth and all at once they melted into the ground along with what was remaining of Gluttony's body.

Izumi held her mouth as she cough. Hohenheim caught her and when he looked at her face he saw blood. Blood and tears.

"It's not fair that he was born into his hellish world. Even I committed the Taboo and before mine was created...I ended his life." She covered her face with shame.

"Mrs. Curtis, I know how you feel. I have committed even worse sins than you have."

Izumi fixed herself quickly, "We have to go save your son. I know that I can't go to far and change what I've done...but somehow I'll fix all of this."

Both of them got to their feet and quickly headed deeper into town where a fierce battle was taking place. And the battle was Envy and Lust versus Mustang and Hawkeye.

Lust had been easily blocking Hawkeye's bullets allowing Envy to rush in and get an easy hit on the two. However, Mustang was keeping Envy in the same place because of his sharp attacks with his Flame Alchemy.

"Remember," Mustang looked over at the Lieutenant "Once Izumi and Hohenheim get rid of Gluttony then they'll be over to help us!"

Hawkeye nodded, "But sir, how can we be so sure that it'll work! These things are indestructible?!"

"I know it'll work. Alphonse wouldn't let us lose this fight for..." he paused. He wanted to say Fullmetal. But they weren't saving an Alchemist. They were saving a boy who had yet to live his life to the fullest. He was a lost Brother that they had to get back, "Fight for Edward!"

He snapped harder and this time the attack engulfed both Lust and Envy, leaving them to scream in pain.

Mustang shot back, and behind the burning Homunculi h saw a huge explosion. It had to be Alphonse and Dante fighting.

~ Downtown Central ~

Alphonse ran along the wall holding his hands close together ready for a quick attack. He thought that he had gotten away from Dante but he was wrong. She was jumping from building to building with her sharpened Auto-mail sword ready to destroy his Blood seal. And thanks to Edward's memories she knew exactly where it was and what it took to destroy it.

Once she saw a quick opening she jumped down like she was about to pounce on him. But Al sensed the attack, looked up, and quickly dodged it. Before Dante could regain her balance Al shot back in and attacked with his half broken spear.

She quickly dodged it, "Alphonse I know that your faking it. You don't really want to kill me...your own brother do you?"

"SHUT UP!" he lunged at her spinning around and swinging at her again. But she jumped and flipped back.

"You think that the worthless time wizard cab help you?"

Al gasped, almost falling to his feet, "H-how do you know about her?!" he yelled.

Dante's golden eyes flashed along with her crocked smirk, "I have Edward's memories. And if you haven't noticed that's why I've been aiming at your helmet. I know your weakness Alphonse Elric!"

"Kokoris will change everything! You will be re-written!"

"That's what you think. What if I kill you? Then I can go after her and let her re-write history. I would wish that that bastard would have never been born!"

Al winced, "Edward?"

"No, your father!" she hissed. "He is the reason for all of this hate! He didn't want to become immortal! So he left me and I committed the Taboo with the Stone. I created Envy. Our son!"

Al shook his head, "Envy...is our..."

Dante snorted, "In a way, he is both you and Edward's half brother...yes..."

"Is that why he hated me and my brother so much! But it wasn't even out faults!"

"He hates you because you have Hohenheim's blood."

Al looked at his feet, "So then where our sin?"

"Hmph...I don't know. We never found it. Just like your Teachers. She says that she killed it but she's lying. And our precious Furher is also a Homunculus. But he is ignorant of our group."

He backed away as he heard her words. He didn't want to believe it. It all seemed like one big fairy tale. But it wasn't.

Dante put down her blade, "I just don't understand you young Elric. If this had been your body Edward would have made us the stone in a heartbeat. But you...you refused. Do you not care...or me?" she used Edward's voice in a desperate and sad voice that almost broke Alphonse's soul.

"That's not what Brother would want! H-he doesn't want us to kill people to get our bodies back!" he clapped his hands and pulled a sword from the metal street light beside him.

"And I'll prove it to you!"

He quickly charged at Dante, and in his soul he knew that this was a life or death battle!

Alphonse has gotten serious now! We'll I'll probably be back in a while and there is a big surprise coming up in the next part! As I said before thank you for the people who are still reading! The long ride is almost over! :D
