Senri had seen his master in trouble and vanished in the middle of his fight with Airi to assist her. He grabbed a just conscious Rin and teleported them to Kiraya just before Sesshomaru can deliver his final strike. Being under Kiraya's complete control, Rin jumped in between them in order to shield her from Sesshomaru's deadly strike.
Sesshomaru was able to stop his attack in time without puncturing Rin's creamy skin. However, another blade was able to impale her. Her expressionless eyes widen from the impact.
Kiraya had drilled her blade straight through Rin's chest to pierce through Sesshomaru's own chest. As this was done, Rin had also dagger Sesshomaru's heart with the very knife he bestowed upon her years ago.
Kiraya stepped away as she watched the two crumbled.
"Rin…" He whispered, his voice slightly shaky. Cupping her expressionless face, he wiped away the blood spilling from the corner of her mouth. They both fell to their knees, ignoring the screams around them.
"Rin." He whispered once away, hoping that she'll return to her senses. How could I have let this happen? I was suppose to protect you, yet, I let this happen. He looked down at the dagger she held to his heart. Is this how you felt when I decline your love? A painful stab to the heart.
"Sesshomaru-sama.." Rin gurgle, barely audible as her sense finally came back to her.
His eyes widen as he bore his eyes into hers, noticing that they were struggling to adjust and gain focus.
Once her visions came back, Rin gazed at his face then trailed down to his chest. She gave out an agonized cry, realizing what she had done.
"I'm so sorry Sesshomaru-sama." She sobbed, ignoring the painful wound through her chest that was quickly taking away her life. She tried to move but her body refused to listen. It was a miracle that her senses even came back despite Kiraya's control over her was much stronger than the other demons.
He grabbed her hand and pulled the knife from his chest. He gave out a low painful grunt as the sharp demonic blade sawed against his flesh then tossed it aside.
Leaning forward, he brought his arms around Rin, as if to embrace her. He grabbed onto the hilt of the sword connecting the two and carefully slide it out their bodies.
Rin released a small painful gurgle as the sharp metal moved through her chest. Sesshomaru caught her as she fell forward, cradling her dying body against his chest. Trying her hardest to stay conscious, she lifted her head to peer into into his eyes. "I love you." She whispered before her eyes slowly shut.
He stiffen from her stillness.
"Pathetic." Kiraya sneered. "To let a human woman affect you in such a way. If you had set aside your weak emotions, then you could have killed me and postponed your death. Instead you stopped your sword to protect a weakling."
Sesshomaru stayed silent, taking in all of her words. He knew that she was right. He had given into his emotions and let the girl affect his state of mind. His old self would have ran his sword through, without batting an eyelash. If his enemy was killed, nothing else mattered.
However, Rin had changed him. She brought light into his dark and lonely world. She gave him loving smiles everyday, gifting him with silly flowers whenever she could, and her complete trust in him. She accepted him for who he is and followed him blindly without a single shred of fear.
But now she was dying in his arms, he can't do anything about it. Tenseiga cannot bring her back to life and his mother will not help him. She had warned him and yet he took her words lightly. Even with new gained power, power that surpassed even his own father, he still couldn't protect the only person that mattered to him.
"Weak beings will flock to one another. You deserve each other." Kiraya scorn.
"Shut the hell up! I've had enough of you." Inuyasha yelled, swinging his Tessaiga.
Senri quickly teleported the Kiraya and himself away, barely blocking the surprise attack.
"Kagome, healed Rin and the bastard while I take care of these two." Inuyasha said.
"Got it." Quickly getting on her knees, she laid Rin down and began healing Rin's wounds since she was closer to death than Sesshomaru.
"Save her." Sesshomaru commanded.
"Of course, but what about you? Your wounds…"
"I'll be alright." He retorted. The wound may have been deep but he'll survive. He already use some of his ki to slow down the bleeding, though he can barely sit up straight.
"It's too late. They're both going to die." Kiraya mused.
"Not if I have anything to say about it." Airi yelled, running up to the the injured demon lord and his ward. She quickly put her hands to his chest and began transferring her "time" to him. He stared at her questionably.
His eyes widen in disbelief. His wounds began to rapidly close and he felt his energy returning to him, as if he was never injured or used up any energy at all. He stood up and felt completely fine.
Kiraya's eyes widen in astonishment. She never would have thought that Airi could use her powers like this. She looked to the demoness and noticed her labored breathing.
"I'll take care of Rin. Help the others." Airi said to Kagome in a breathless voice.
Not questioning the demoness, she left Rin to her care. After witnessing the extraordinary result of her healing powers, Kagome knew that if anyone can save Rin, it'll be Airi.
"Airi, to think you'd have such a power…" Kiraya said grimly. "It doesn't matter if you healed him because the rest of my amy is already here." She smirked.
Everyone's eyes widen in surprise. They had all thought that her army only consisted of the ones earlier.
A new hoard of demon came rushing out of the the forest surrounding the entire battle field. Sesshomaru and his soldier were greatly outnumber along with most of them being unable to fight much longer.
"Don't think that that was all to my army. Sixty years of planning was more than enough time to build an army as big as mine's." Kiraya smiled in triumph. Her new soldiers roared and howled in retaliation.
"And three days is more than enough time to bring the armies of the four lands together." Shouted Lord Akihiro, Lord of the South, as he swooped down from the sky, landing beside Sesshomaru.
Kiraya's eyes widen in shock. She had never expected the the four lords to appear so quickly.
"My apologies for being late Lord Sesshomaru." Lord Hisashi, the Lord of the North, said as he walked up to them along with Lord Mitsuru, the Lord of the East.
"Hmph. Your help is unneeded." Sesshomaru said aloofly.
"That may be true but it'll be bad if the other three armies fail to take part in the battle. It be a great humiliation on the rest of us." Lord Hisashi laughed. "Now, lets killed these annoying weaklings." He said more seriously. "Now attack men!"
The three armies roared in unison as they charge at the enemy.
"We'll leave this to you." Lord Mitsuru said glaring at Kiraya before as he took off to kill several demons with one attack. The other two lords nodded in agreement and went there different ways.
Not taking his eyes off of the agitated demoness, he readied Bakusaiga and aimed for Kiraya.
"Senri!" Kiraya yelled. Senri got the message and surrounding their body in dark mist. They vanished but didn't get too far.
Sesshomaru and Inuyasha took off towards their scents knowing that Rin and Kagome will be safe with the other three armies here.
"Senri, why are we still close to the battle field?' Kiraya demanded in fury. They were in the forest by the battle ground.
"Forgive me Kiraya-sama. I don't have enough energy to move us very far all at once." Senri panted in exhaustion. Airi drained more energy than he though and suddenly using his power to transfer him and Rin for that trap took a toll on him. "I'll try once again."
"I don't think so." Inuyasha shouted, swinging his sword in between the two to separate them. Then both jumped away. "I got this. Just focus on her." Inuyasha shouted at Sesshomaru.
He nodded in response. And stalked to his prey.
Kiraya, with a distress look on her face, slowly backed away. "Senri!" She shouted. She turned to him as he tried to dodge Inuyasha's attacks. He couldn't help her. Kiraya quickly turned around and ran. There was no way she could fight off Sesshomaru, uninjured or not.
"Don't think you can escape." Sesshomaru growled murderously.
Kiraya ran as fast as she could as he hunted her down like some prey. It only took him a few minutes before he had her trapped against a mountain wall. She trembled in fear as he walked towards her, feeling his killing aura seeping into her skin.
"Please… don't…" Kiraya pleaded, her voice shaking in fear. He ignored her request, stalking closer and closer. "If you kill me, Rin can never return to being a human. She'll be a monster just like the rest of us. Is that what you want?" She shouted in desperation.
His eyes flashed crimson red as she grab her neck into a chock hold. He slammed her into the rocky wall and let out a menacing roar into her face. Tears were forming into her as she quivered in utter fear.
"Let me make this straight. Whether she's a human or demon, I will always protect her and kill anyone who dare hurt her!" He growled, ripping her throat out with his deadly claws.
Bloods spewed everywhere. He stepped back and watch as her lifeless body slowly slid down the wall.

Inuyasha continues to chase Senri as he disappeared then reappear not far away. He desperately tried to find his master but was having a hard time with Inuyasha constantly trying to take a chunk out of him.
"Give it up with your little trick. You have more of a chance by coming at me head on." Inuyasha smirked.
Senri growled in annoyance to took his suggestion. He extend his clawed, darting for Inuyasha. Before he could even reach him, his body suddenly felt heavy. He was on his knees, writhing in pain. He screamed in agony as he felt like his head would split in half.
Inuyasha was surprise to see this. He has no idea whats happening to the demon.
"Oi.." Inuyasha started, not knowing if he should just kill him even if it's dick move now that he's practically incapacitated.
The screaming suddenly stop. Inuyasha cautiously step forward then stopped in surprise when Senri suddenly looked up. He looked around, confused looking. His eyes landing on Inuyasha and he was filled with fear.
"Wh-Who are you? Where am I?" Senri demanded, backing away as much as possible.
Taken aback, Inuyasha stood there, not knowing what to do. "Do you know who you are?" He asked finally after a long silence.
"Of course I do. I'm Senri." He replied.
"Then do you remember anything?' Inuyasha tried again.
"Not really… Just Kiraya appearing before me and Airi screaming my name…" He suddenly gasped. "Airi! Where's Airi!?" He got up and searched around as if she'll miraculously appear out of no where. He suddenly fell back on his knees as his memories returned.
"Oh no.. What have I done?" Senri whispered now that he remembers all the bad deeds he has done as Kiraya's right hand man and all the cruel things he said and did to Airi.
Inuyasha got annoyed that the demon was being so weak all of a sudden. "Look, if you're that worried about Airi then go to her instead of staying here beating yourself up." Inuyasha spat in annoyance.
Senri looked up and nodded, realizing that he won't help Airi by being here. "Do you want me to teleport you too?" Senri asked.
"Umm.. sure." Inuyasha replied in surprised, slightly hesitant since just only moments ago, they were trying to kill one another.
Senri touched Inuyasha's arm and in an instant they were shrouded in black whisky mist. Only a few seconds have passed until they were standing before a hunched over Air, surrounded by Inuyasha's group and a few other demons.
"Airi!" Senri called.
Airi turned around, eyes widen. She remind silent, studying him carefully. "Senri? Are you the old Senri." She asked cautiously.
He gave her a definitely nodded as tears formed in the corner of their eyes. He kneeled down and embraced her in a heart wrenching hug. "I'm so sorry." He said, his body slightly trembling from he relief of seeing his beloved Airi once again.
"It's okay. I understand." She said, hugging him back and trying her best to comfort him. They reveled in each other's warmth until a cough startled them from their brief reunion.
"Rin." Airi said frantically, pushing Senri to the side and turning her attention back to the still dying girl. "Rin, hang in there. Everyone's is free from Kiraya's mind control so you have to stay with me." Airi shouted as she desperately tried to heal Rin with what remain of her own powers.
A white sphere of light suddenly appeared before the group, revealing Sesshomaru.
"What happened?" Sesshomaru asked to the group.
"Sesshomaru-sama!" Jaken cried.
"Did you kill Kiraya?" Inuyasha asked his brother.
Sesshomaru nodded then turned his attention back to Rin. Her body was completely still. Blood from her wound continues to seep out as her ragged heart fought to keep her alive.
"Airi and I have been trying to heal her wounds but nothing's working." Kagome said, a sobbed threatened to break out.
"Then try harder." He demanded, his voice deadly to threaten Kagome into using every ounce of her powers if she must in order to save Rin.
"We're trying but all of our powers are already depleted." Kagome said in defeat.
Sesshomaru's eyes widen for a fraction of a second. He looked down at Rin as his eyes were filled with nothing but complete despair. Was he going to lose her again? She already died twice and now it'll be his fault once again. Is all hope lost?
His eyes widen when her heart suddenly stopped. No! He roared inwardly.
"Don't worry. I will save her….No matter what." Airi reassured, whispering the last part barely audible even for demons. She had used up all of the energy she took from Senri and most from her own reserve to heal Sesshomaru's injuries from earlier. Saving Rin was impossible unless…
Airi took a deep breath as she made her resolve. Her body was suddenly shrouded in a bright pink light then it slowly engulfed Rin's entire being as well. They all watched in awe and wonder as to what the demoness was doing. They were filled with hope and relief that Rin might return to them.
As the other were focus on Rin, Senri was shocked as he stared at Airi intently. "A-Airi?" He asked hesitantly, his tone in that of a disbelief and realization of his friend's true intentions.
Her face was contorted into a painful state. "I need to focus." She whispered, her voice slightly warning him to remain silent and that nothing will change her mind about her decision. He gave her an understanding look but he couldn't help the tears from forming.
The others looked at them in confusion, not understanding what could be going between the two. They turned their attention to Airi. Blood was dripping from her mouth as her eyes redden demonically. Before they could fully take in her change in appearance, a thundering crackle elicited from the bond between the two demoness as a bright light blinded everyone around them.
When their eyes finally adjusted, Airi was collapsed on top of Rin's body.
