Shay: Of course I didn't. I can't keep my readers waiting forever
Ikuto: You're back already? Damn, no alone time with Amu
Shay: Glad to see you too Ikuto -_-
Amu: Ikuto! Apologize to Shay!
Ikuto: Okay, but only if I get a kiss from you
Amu: Whaa...what!?
Ikuto: Fine I'm leaving
Amu: WAIT! o..okay. but only on the cheek
Ikuto: *smirks* heh deal
Amu: *leans in to kiss Ikuto's cheek*
Ikuto: *Turns his head so Amu kisses his lips*
Amu: KYAAA! Why did you turn your head!
Ikuto: I just couldn't help myself. It's fun when you're all flustered like that ;)
Amu: Well now I'm mad at you *pouts while blushing*
Ikuto: Look how cute you are. Acting all mad at me :3
Amu: *forehead muscles twitches* Well then I'm about to look absolutely beautiful because
I'm going to rip your head off! IRU! Charanari Amuelet Devil!
Ikuto: *chara changes with Yoru* heh try to catch me if you can *dashes off*
Amu: goes after Ikuto
Shay: -sighs- will they ever get along *shakes head*
Review of Last Chapter:
Hearing Tadase say those words made my heart skip a beat, but in my mind were also thoughts of Ikuto. Where could he be? Will he ever return? Who is he with? How is he feeling? Why is he part of Easter? What is his wish?
:Normal POV:.
Everyone was staring,waiting for her to say something.
Amu sat there, thinking about the events that only recently occurred. Her mind was is chaos. She knows her true feelings about Ikuto, but what about her feelings about Tadase? He was her prince. The first person to make her heart thump. The person she admired and thought so highly of. The person she wanted to be with since the beginning. Why must her heart make her face these problems. She didn't know what to do.
"Um….Hinamori-san" Tadase said worriedly. "Are you okay?
Amu immediately came out of her trance. "huh? Uhh…yes! Sorry I spaced out." she answered.
"That's g..good. I was j..just saying you are sp…special."
Tadase stared deeply into Amu's eyes, making her face feel hot as he kept on staring.
Is Tadase blushing? Does he l…like me? Amu thought.
"And I like how energetic you were when you introduced yourself. I wish I could be as confident as you and speak my mind. I…I've never met a girl like that….a girl like you."
So he does like me? But that wasn't the real me. That was my chara-change with Ran.
"Tadase, we're still here ya know." Kukai announced, trying to get his attention.
"It looks like things will be interesting Kukai. Our leader seems to have found a love interest."
"What? Who is it Nadeshiko? Yaya wants to know!"
"Predictable." Rima said. She didn't seem interested in what was going on as she kept to herself.
"It is quite improper for two guardians to have this kind of relation. It would not be productive towards our goal. Seeing as I am the most serious person here, I shall document this."
"Tadase!What are you doing!? A king does not show weakness in front of others! He is strong and brave!"
"Give it a break Kiseki"
"Daichi, I am king! I say and do things as I please! No commoner shall deny me!"
"Pepe doesn't listen to anyone. Pepe is a baby!"
"Act more gracefully in front of others Pepe. We ladies must set an example."
"Kusu Kusu Kusu. Like this? BALA-BALANCE!"
"I think she meant be more girly! Like a cheerleader! Ganbare!Ganbare!"
"You totally missed the point Ran. She obviously meant be more poised and artistic."
"But she said graceful which could also means more feminine~desu. What could be more feminine that cooking a delicious meal~desu!"
"Things seem to be getting out of hand Kairi! As your chara I insist you write this down."
Embarrassed of their scolding by the others, both Tadase and Amu quickly broke their gaze.
"A…as I was saying," Tadase said, "We must stop Easter by all means before they get their hands on the powerful embryo and wreak havoc. "
A crown once again popped onto Tadase's head.
"Yes! We must stop Easter! muahahahha! And to do so we must find the Goddess!"
The Goddess? Amu thought. Who is she? Why is she so important? Does she have some kind of powers? I mean she is a Goddess after all. Plus Gods have powers.
The expression on Amu's face turned into one of confusion.
"I can see you are confused Amu." said Nadeshiko. The Goddess is the person who we have been searching for. Only she can stop Easter. We are just her humble helpers trying the best we can to do everything in our power to protect this town before we find her. And we need all the help we can get to do so."
"Yea Amu-chii! The Goddess is awesome! And she can fight all the bad Easter people and save everyone!"
"At first we thought it was you since you had three charas, but since you're not, you can leave."
"Hey, don't be like that Mashiro-san. Amu, we are happy to have you as a fellow guardian and aid us in our quest."
I'm glad Kukai is here. I would be too nervous if I didn't know anyone here. And I'm glad we can still be friends.
"Thanks Kukai," said Amu, slightly feeling guilty that Kukai was still being so nice to her. "And I'm really sorry about...you know...that incident "
Even though Kukai had been hurt from Amu's rejection, he tried to play it off as if everything was fine. He didn't want to make Amu feel worried about him or guilty for her own feelings, so he forced a smile on his face.
"It's okay Amu. I'm over it."
"What? Did something happen between Amu-chii and Kukai? Not far! Not fair!"
Yaya started throwing another tantrum as she pounded on the table.
"Sorry about her Amu. Yaya please calm down before you hurt yourself. "
"NO! Kukai is being too nice to Amu-chii. Kukai is Yaya's! Kukai is Yaya's!"
Yaya then jumped into Kukai's lap, pretending to be a baby and snuggling up to him. "Whaaaa!Whaaa!"
A small hint of red could be seen on Kukai's face.
"H...hey now Yaya. I know we are childhood friends and all, but could you stop acting like this? It's getting embarrassing."
"No! Spoil me Kukai! Whaaa." She clung to him tightly.
Amu heart tightened at the scene. I know my true feelings, but it still hurts seeing Kukai be friendly with someone else. I guess he really did get over me. But why am i feeling sad about it? I was the one who couldn't correspond to his feelings. He did't do anything wrong.
"Another troublesome relation to add to the documents. tsp tsk. We should be more professional."
Kairi started jotting this down when he looked up to see Amu's depressed expression. He couldn't help but feel worried about her. He didn't want to see her like this. He wanted to bring a smile to her face. Subconsciously, Kairi's hand started to move towards Amu.
Caught off-guard by the gesture, Amu screamed.
Surprised at himself, Kiri immediately retracted his hand. "S..sorry Joker. I unwillingly did that. I don't know what happened to me. You looked like you were about to cry so..."
*poof*
Everyone stopped what they were doing to look at Amu. She quickly rubbed the tear forming under her eye away.
mysterious person: Another rival has appeared. I should be the one comforting Amu!
"I'm...I'm fine Chairman. You don't need to worry about me. There was something...something in my eye. Yea that's it. That's why I looked like I was going to cry."
"Ch….chairman? You think I seem like one too?"
"Sorry….you just have that kind of aura around you. And what do you mean by 'too' ?"
"Haha. Yaya also calls him Chairman. Chairmen! Chairmen!"
"Ace chair! Could you refrain from calling me that?"
*pouts* "You're so grouchy Chairman."
"Hey weren't you crying just a second ago Yaya?" Kukai questioned.
"Uhh..I mean...whaaa...whaaa."
"You call that fake crying? I could have done a way better job then that," Rima said under her breath.
"what was that Mashiro-san?"
"N..nothing Nadeshiko."
Heh, I knew it. I see right though your little act Rima.
"Do you not like to be called that Chai—I mean Sanjou?"
Kairi started to blush a little.
"Y…you can call me Kairi if you'd like."
Hmmmm. And what is this? Has Kairi also developed a love interest? Musashi thought to himself.
"O..okay K...Kairi." Hearing Amu say his name made Kairi feel happy.
"W…well back to our early discussion, we have come up with a plan. Everyone will go into groups and scope the city and then during our next meeting we report back anything new we find out about Easter or the Goddess. The first group will be the next Queen's chair, the Ace's chair, and myself. The second group will be the current Queen's chair, The current Jack's chair, the King's chair, and you. The Joker's chair."
"No! I declare Hinamori-san and myself be paired up together! No questions asked! Now, you commoners, set forth and find the whereabouts of the Goddess!"
Oh no. He's back into king mode.
And just like that, Tadase pulled Amu into his arms, princess style , and ran off leaving the rest of the guardians behind.
Amu: Yes! It looks like it might end up with me and Tadase together after all!
Ikuto: Like I would let that happen! Shay what is the meaning of this?!
Shay: D...don't be mad at me Ikuto!
Ikuto: We had a deal remember
Shay: Yes, i know. I know.
Amu: Wait, what deal? What are you guys talking about.
Ikuto: Heh, wouldn't you like to know
Amu: Yes! That's why I asked. What deal?!
Shay: haha...uh...nothing :P
Tadase: Umm...May I come out now?
Ikuto: Don't do it Shay
Shay: It's fine Ikuto. He's been acting good. -unlocks cage-
Tadase: Yay! *runs to Amu*
Amu: Tadase! *runs to Tadase*
Shay: hey! I didn't approve of this! NO TADAMU!
Ikuto: This is why I warned you! KIDDY KING! STAY AWAY FROM AMU!
Shay: You go get him Ikuto!
