Hi everyone!
I am posting another chapter, felt inspired to do so, much thanks to that review, it meant alot, I thought no one was reading this story anymore... But I hope that you'll keep reading, and please review!
I hope that you like this chapter, some Samuel(her father)/Regina time, and Robin and Regina's first official date! :)
XOXO
It had been a couple of days since Regina's unexpected date with Robin, he hadn't called her yet, she was getting impatient. As of cue, her phone ringed; she answered.
"Hello, it's Regina?"
"Hello milady." Robin said in the most charming way, he continued: "Do you have any plans this Saturday?"
Regina hardly thought about it, "no, actually I don't."
"Well, now you do. My house at 8.00." he finished, still seeming charming, and hung up.
Regina furrowed her brows, well, isn't he confident? Regina thought to herself, however, she kind of liked it. A second after she hung up, someone knocked on the door. Regina wondered who it was, she wasn't expecting anyone. She put down her phone and headed towards the door and opened it; it was Samuel.
"Oh, hi Samuel." Regina said and failed to conceal her questioning look.
"Hi Regina, may I come in?"
Regina stepped aside without saying anything and let him pass. Ever since he arrived with her sibling, she hadn't really wanted to get a close relationship with him; not that he wasn't nice, but Henry was her father. However, she did observe the way he looked at her, how much he just wanted to hold her, and actually be her father. Regina just didn't feel the need.
They sat down at the kitchen table.
"Regina, dear, is there any way that we can get to know each other a little more?" Samuel asked, and went straight to the topic that Regina was hoping to avoid, Samuel registered that, and continued, "I know that you already have a father, but, I wish for us to have some sort of relationship, I could be like a cool uncle or something?" he joked.
Regina chuckled, "Thank you for understanding. I am afraid to forget my father, I loved him dearly." She paused, "But yes, it would be nice to get to know each other a little." She said and gave him a smile. There was an awkward silence for a moment, but then Samuel started talking, telling Regina stories of how he met Rhea, and what he knew about Regina; not what he'd seen through the barrier, but before she was born. He said that Rhea had been "a pain in the ass" while being pregnant with Regina, craving apples, or fruit in general, and salty food. Regina had laughed at it, because she liked all those things very much. She had enjoyed listening to her birth father telling stories; it seemed he loved his wife and children very much. There were also too many similarities between herself and Rhea. The conversation was dying out, and Regina decided to tell him about Robin, not about the kiss, but about the so-called legacy about them.
The second she told him he took her hands in his own; "True love is the strongest love there is, it will survive any storm, and it will last for a life time. Do not let it slip away."
Regina gave a careful nod, and somehow, Samuel knew that it was time for him to leave. He rose from his seat and headed to leave. Before he got to the door, he turned around and looked at Regina with his loving blue eyes. Regina that he'd deserved a hug, so she walked over to him and carefully leaned her head on his chest. He instantly wrapped his arms around her and hugged her tight. He pulled away; "You didn't have to do that you know." He said smiling.
"I know, but I wanted to. You see me as your daughter, so I can be, although I won't consider you as a father, for a while at least." She said a little hesitant.
He put his hand on her shoulder and looked down at her, "thank you". He turned around and opened the door.
It was Saturday, and Regina was anxious to see Robin, in a good way. The butterflies in her stomach were driving her crazy, or fuck butterflies, it was more like bats gone crazy in there. It was now 7.00 p.m. and she was standing in her underwear in front of her closet, figuring out what to wear. She spotted a red tight dress in back of her closet that she hadn't worn for a while. She pulled it out and took it on. She looked at herself in the mirror; it was a sleeveless, knee-length dress, and with a classy cleavage, not too much, nor too little. She topped the look with black stilettos and red lipstick; exactly her style. Regina glanced at the clock; 7.30., it wasn't time to leave yet. She walked downstairs and sat down in her office to pass time. She thought of Samuel's visit, it had been nice. She didn't feel anger towards him anymore, he didn't push too far, or trying to fill the role as her father; she was grateful for that. He could be that cool uncle, she thought to herself. She glanced at the clock again; it was time to leave. She walked outside, got in her Mercedes and drove towards his house.
When Regina pulled up towards his house; she had to admit, she was a little nervous. It was a good kind of nervousness, a healthy kind, the one that you're meant to feel. When she got out of her car, Robin was already standing in his doorway, smiling at her.
"Hello milady". he said.
Regina smiled to him and replied, "Hi Robin."
He didn't say anything else, just turned around as a gesture for her to follow him. Regina was dazzled by his house, well, it reminded her more of cabin than an actual house, but it was very nice. The house was small, the door led them through a narrow hallway, where Robin took her coat and hanged it there. He could see Regina looking at his house, "Would you like a tour?" he asked with a smile. Regina gave a quick smile back, nodded and followed him.
"As you might have guessed, this is the hallway". He said and motioned with his arms around the room. They walked further into the house, out of the narrow hallway and into the living room. It was totally different; it was a large room, with much room up towards the ceiling. The house was made entirely of timber, big pillars in the ceiling, holding the roof. He had kept the timber's natural color, and the rest of the room was in the same design. In the middle of the living room there was an enormous fireplace, and a couch and a coffee table placed in front of it; a nice place during a cold winter night.
As Regina looked at Robin, he was grinning, "What?" she asked curiously.
He chuckled lightly; "I was just looking at your beautiful face and seeing how much you enjoy my house."
Regina felt as if her face went entirely red, but she knew it didn't because of her skin tone. "Well, aren't you charming." She answered and tried to hide the fact that she was feeling like a hopeless teenager. "And, yes, I enjoy your beautiful house; I especially like your living room."
He smiled at her; his eyes had a certain glow. "Thank you, I build it myself." He said proudly and crossed his arms.
Regina raised her eye brows in surprise, "You build this entire house by yourself?"
Robin nodded in reply and asked if she wanted to finish the tour before dinner. The rest of the house was in the same manner as the living room. There was a good-sized master bedroom, a beautiful, but simple white canopy hanging from the ceiling and over the bed. There was a door that led directly to the master bathroom, with a large copper tub in the middle of the room. As they exited the master bedroom, they entered Roland's bedroom. Regina almost sighed in delight to see the three-year-olds' room. He had just switched from a crib to a "big-boys-bed", and the transition had been difficult in the beginning Robin had told her. Now, he was sleeping peacefully in his bed. Robin had of course made the bed for his son, along with everything else in the house. There was a big letter R hanging at the wall behind is bed, all natural colors, but also mixed with light blue. In one of the corners of the room, Roland had placed his toys neatly; many of the toys were similar to Henry's, Regina noted.
Further, there was one guestroom, a bathroom down stairs and a big kitchen.
"I do hope you like chicken and asparagus, because that is what I have prepared for tonight." Robin said and smiled, "If not, we'll have to make some toast." He joked.
Regina chuckled, "That sounds lovely."
"In that case, I'll tell you a little bit more," he placed the dish in front of Regina, "the chicken is stuffed with sun-dried tomatoes and parmesan, and the asparagus are glazed with honey." Robin turned around to get some red wine and poured some into her glass, "and of course, Italian wine."
Regina was impressed by how much of a gentleman he was, how thorough he was with explaining, and showing her his home. They started eating, and the food tasted as delicious as it looked. They chatted carelessly while they ate, laughing. They discussed more serious things such as the matter of Peter Pan, and how Henry was doing after everything. Regina didn't feel nervous or uncomfortable at all, neither did Robin. When they finished their meal, Regina helped Robin clean up although he said it wasn't necessary at all. After, they moved to the couch in front of the fire place.
Robin went towards it, and crouched, starting to light a fire. He moved away for a moment, and with a wave of her hand, Regina lit the fire place instantly.
"Oh, right, I forget you can do that." Robin said and chuckled. He moved to sit next to her, and put his glass on the table. He just sat there looking at her, his eyes having that same glow was before.
"What are you looking at?" she whispered.
He smiled softly, "You, your beauty."
Before Regina could reply, he placed a gentle kiss on her lips. The kiss started out soft and gentle, but both of them wanted more, and deepened the kiss. They sat like that a couple of minutes, but Regina broke apart, "It could be too soon, but could we continue this upstairs?" she asked, keeping eye-contact.
"I would like that very much." He said gently and led her up the stairs, still being a perfect gentleman. When they reached the bedroom, Regina stood still for a moment, holding up her hands, moving them, and making a circle across the room. Purple smoke came from her hands, and stuck on the wall, but disappeared after a second.
Robin gave her a questioning look.
"I'm sound-proofing the room." She said seductively.
Robin didn't say anything, but walked over to her and took a hold of her slim waist. Regina pushed him on the bed and sat on top of him. Before she got to do anything, he turned her around, and now he was sitting on top of her. He looked at her for several moments, and started placing gentle kisses on her face; her forehead, both of her cheeks, her nose, and finally her lips. From there it went much more passionately. Clothes came off, or were torn off, shoes were thrown to the floor; soon, they had nothing on at all. They made love. But it was nothing like either of them had ever experienced before. Although barely knowing each other, it was a night filled with passion and love, newfound love. It was a night they would never forget.
Any thoughts?
