(A/N: Sorry, I haven't updated in awhile. I don't own Angel Beats, Inuyasha or any other animes, except the plot and my own OCs. The main genre of Season Two is Romance, Hurt/Comfort, and Action. The action part I need to work, cause there's going to be a late of fight scenes in this season. That's why I added Action to it. Now here's chapter two of season two. Enjoy!)

Princess Vs. Princess: A New Promise
Everyone was still staring at Kira in shock, like she grown a second head. "Um, Kiki?" Hinata spoke, hesitatingly as he approached his girlfriend. "Are you alright?" he asked, putting his hand on her shoulder. Kira tilted her head towards him.
"Yeah. Why wouldn't I be?" she asked.
"You just asked a newcomer to fight you," Yuri stated.
"Yeah, I did. Is there a problem with that?" the coyote girl questioned with a raised eyebrow.
"Yes, there is," Noda said.
"Kira… It's unthinkable to ask the new girl for a fight when she just arrived here, and still getting adjusted to being dead," Takamatsu said, propping his glasses.
"I think a battle is an excellent idea," Miss Sayaka said, causing every member of the Afterlife Battlefront member to turn to her in astonishment. "I wouldn't expect any less from you, milady."
"Yep! A fight between you two will be perfect to get your spirits up," Skyla piped up. All the Anti-Human Battalions nodded their heads in agreement.
"Are you guys insane?!" Yuri yelled angrily at their calm demeanor. Do all demons act like this? Their own leader just asked a person, that just been here less than a day to fight. Have they all lost their minds?!
"It's okay, Yuri," Oblivia assured the purple haired girl. "I already accepted her challenge."
"But… Oblivia…" the SSS leader closed her mouth, knowing there's nothing that can be done. She this was Oblivia's decision alone to make, and she couldn't get in the way of that. The orange haired girl turned towards her challenger.
"What's the rules of the fight?" she asked. The golden-haired girl nodded, proud of her decision.
"This going to be a one on one fight. That means no backup, whatsoever, no matter what happens," she explained. "No traps either. You get the first move, and we ca weapon we want, or any moves at that matter."
"So, how do we know who wins?" Oblivia asked. "Whoever draws first blood?"
"No," the AHB leader said. "Whoever kills their opponent first is declared the winner.
"WHAT?!" the SSS shouted, yet again.
"Kiki," Hinata said, cautiously. "…Are you sure this is a good idea?" Kira whipped her head towards him.
"Of course I am," she said in a serious tone. She looked at everyone else with a look that said 'shut-up-and-don't-question-my-motives-or-else'. She turned back to Oblivia. "Oblivia, I ask you one more time," she said, not changing her tone one bit. "Do you accept my challenge, and the terms that go with it?" The orange-haired girl thought for a minute.
"I accept your challenge," she said, full of determination. The SSS just gasped out loud in shock.
"That's the kind of answer I want to hear," Kira said, holding out her hand. Oblivia put her hand in hers, and they both shook hands. "I'm looking forward to a great battle," she said. "Let's give it our all, and make this a fight we can be proud of. And whoever wins no hard feelings."
"You got yourself I deal," Oblivia said. They let go.
"Then I'm off. I'm looking forward to our match. Call me when you're ready." Kira left the room after that.
"Oblivia?" Yuri said after a few moments of silence. "Are you REALLY sure you want to do this?"
"I'm very sure, Yuri," she answered, determinedly.
"Then maybe we should get you a gun to fight with," the SSS leader suggested. The orange eyed girl put her hand up to stop her.
"No thanks, Yuri," she said. "I'll find something else to fight her with." She left the room after that.
"Does that girl really know what she's getting herself into?" Noda asked.
"Does she know how strong and frightening Kira truly is?" Ooyama asked, nervously.
"And to not take a gun with her… That's just suicide," Takamatsu inputted.
"Don't count her out yet, guys." They all turned to Skyla, who had a knowing smirk gracing her face. "She has more potential than you realize," she said, knowingly.
"Indeed she does," Miss Sayaka said. "And she reminds me of a certain someone I know, we all know."
"Who?" Yui asked.
"Oh, I'll tell you some other time," she said, waving her hand dismissively. "I guess, we better go now. C'mon guys, let's go!" The Anti-Human Battalion members left the Anti-Angel Headquarters, leaving the Afterlife Battlefront to their thoughts on the upcoming fight.
"Is it really a good idea to let Oblivia accept Kira's challenge, Yuri?" Otonashi asked. The SSS leader sat on her chair, and crossed her legs on the desk, leaning back.
"I don't know really, but this is Oblivia's decision, not ours, and we have to respect that, Otonashi," she replied. "After all, this is a one on one match, and if we interfere, anyway, Oblivia will be disqualified. And plus, Oblivia more determined to do this herself. I never seen such determination from anybody. Where does she get it?" she said, more to herself than anybody. She came out of her train of thought. "We're just going to sit back, and just observe the fight," the purple haired girl finished up.
"I just hope she knows what she's getting herself into," Fujimaki said.
"This is so stupid," Shiina said.
Kira was walking aimlessly through the forest. She was thinking about her life before…all the mistakes she made in the past. Even though she had a horrible, twisted past, there were actually some good memories she had. She thought back to a little girl she met when she was still a mere pup. The girl was so innocent and tender-hearted. "A kind ruler, huh?" The golden girl muttered to herself.
(FLASHBACK)
Kira was just twelve years old. Human years, mind you. Running carelessly through the forest with no destination in mind. She spotted a little girl no more than six or seven with short black hair, and brown eyes wearing a bright yellow kimono getting mauled by a bear demon. She quickly destroyed the demon, saving the girl. The girl looked at Kira with fearful eyes, upon seeing the demon like features she possessed. "It's okay. I'm not going to hurt you," Kira said, gently while approaching the still frightened girl. She was trying to be as gentle and soothing as possible. The girl stopped crying, and looked at her with less scared, and cautious, brown eyes. They coyote girl grabbed a cloth from within her kimono sleeve, and wiped the girl's tears as gently as possible. The girl flinched slightly. "It's okay. Don't' worry. I won't hurt you," she reassured the girl as she continued cleaning her face. Kira always had a weakness for kids, especially innocent one like this. Whether they're human, demon, or in between like her, it didn't matter to her. Even if she does hate humans for killing her mother, she could never truly hate children.
"Thank you for saving me, miss," the girl finally spoke in a frilly voice after the golden-haired girl was done.
"You are very much welcomed," she replied. "And my name's Kira. You don't need the 'miss'. What yours?"
"I'm Minka," the girl, know known as Minka, replied softly.
"Well, Minka, shouldn't you be getting home? Why are you here in the first place? It's dangerous out here. Go back to your parents where it's safe. They must be really worried."
"I can't," the little girl said, gloomily.
"Why not?" Kira questioned.
"I don't have any."
"What?!" the golden-haired girl said shocked. "Why? What happened to them?"
"They… They were murdered by bandits when they came to our village looking for valuables," she explained. "They told me to hide until the bad people were gone. When it was all over, the bandits were gone, and most of the hosts were burned down. And almost everyone was dead, including my mom and dad. Now I'm all alone!" Minka finished, sobbing. Kira felt sorry for the girl. She reminded her of herself, and how she ended up all alone.
"How could humans be so cruel to their own kind?" she thought in rage. "Humans were unforgivable creatures? Why would such vile creatures like humans be allowed to walk the Earth? For giving us such torture and cruelty towards me, and now Minka here, I'll rid the world of humans once and for all. I swear it!" Getting rid of humanity would be easier said than done. How would she do it? That's the question that she needs to answer, but the coyote girl could do that later. Now she needed to comfort a sobbing, little girl. Kira pulled Minka into a hug. The girl returned it, and continued crying. "Shh! Shh! It's okay," she whispered. The girl calmed down. It was after that day, that Kira took the Minka under her wing. Minka eventually began like a little sister to her. They've began very close over the years. This was the first time, beside her mother, that Kira felt accepted, and in return accepting others. But then, a few years has passed, and Minka died of illness. The golden-haired girl can remember it as clear as day. Her dying words were, "Kira, you're the nicest big sister I ever had. I had so much fun being with you. I know that were not biological related sisters, but still…it still felt like we were. Wouldn't it be cool that somehow, possible if there was a such thing as having another life, that we ended up being sisters? Real sisters? Blood related sisters? You could be my big sister again! I would love that!" She coughed. "Kira. Go back to your castle. I'm sure you'll make a great leader, like you told me of your father. You will be a very powerful, yet kind-hearted ruler. I'm sure of it! You don't have stay alone when I'm gone, Kira. You have Nekoma with you, right?" Nekoma mewed in response, and Minka just smiled softly. "And you can also find love." Kira scoffed at that. Love? Who in the right mind would love a half-demon? "You can find someone to fall in love with, and to spend an eternity with, and make you genuine happy with who you are, and make you smile and laugh. And also…" Minka was struggling to speak as she kept coughing. "…Stop blaming yourself for you mother's death." Kira tightened her fist. "Your mother loved you so much, that's why she gave her life for you. What mother wouldn't sacrifice herself for her own daughter? So stop blaming yourself, and smile for once." She coughed one last time. "Goodbye, big sister, Kira. I'll…always…be…with…you," she said her last words, and closed her dimming, brown eyes. Never to reopen them again.
(END OF FLASHBACK)
Kira came back to reality. "Hmm, such wise words from such a little girl," she thought, amused and somewhat sad. "Well, I better head back." She began to walk off.
Oblivia was walking aimlessly around the school. "How should I fight her?" she asked herself. She wanted to do this alone, and wanted absolutely no help from the Battlefront. She'll do this alone, and see it through till the end. Quite frankly, she never actually agreed to join the Afterlife Battlefront, yet.
Just then, when she went outside, she spotted something shining. At closer inspection, it looked like a scythe. There was something familiar about it though. It was nagging the back of Oblivia's mind that she's seen it somewhere before, but can't place it. She felt like it was calling to her somehow. She picked it up, examining it. "Are you going to fight with that?" A voice asked from behind. The orange haired girl swiftly turned around to spot Kira there with her arms crossed, and having a neutral expression on her face.
"Yeah, I am," she replied. Something was telling her she used this scythe before…that it was her weapon.
"Does that mean you're ready?" She looked up and down at the weapon once more then smiled.
"I'm ready."
"Come on," Kira gestured. "I know a place where we can battle it out." She paused for a second, sighing out loud. "Guess, we better call everyone, right? They wouldn't want to miss this, especially not the SSS."
Later, after they have gathered everyone to watch the fight, Kira and Oblivia was in a clear, grassy area, facing off. The others, meaning the AHB and the SSS were sitting off to the side, where they won't get hurt. "I'm still not convinced that this was a good idea, Yurippe," Ooyama said, visibly shaking.
"It's too late now, Ooyama," she replied, getting slightly annoyed. Hinata was wondering the same thing. What could his girlfriend be thinking, and possibly hope to accomplish by fighting Oblivia? Well, it would help to know Oblivia's battle skills. He tried to talk Kira out of this, saying Oblivia wasn't ready yet…as she hasn't learned the fundamentals of this place, but the coyote girl was so damn stubborn. Once her mind is dead set on something, there's no changing it. He now learned that.
"Alright, let's begin," Kira shouted as they all turned to the fight. Oblivia charged at her, the scythe poised and ready. The golden girl stood there, but at the last-minute, she grabbed it when Oblivia swung it done on her. This caught the other girl off guard. Kira kicked her in the side, making her slide a few feet back. Oblivia wasn't about to give up easily. She quickly got and started swinging at her again and again, but the coyote girl effortlessly dodged each attack. This time, she punched her in the stomach. The orange eyed girl hacked out blood, and dropped to her knees, clutching her stomach in pain. Kira sighed. "I'm done," she said, turning her back towards the fallen girl.
"What?" Oblivia asked, wide-eyed. "I thought you wanted a fight to the finish." The SSS were just as surprised.
"I did say that, but only because I thought you could put up one. But I guess, you're not as strong as I assumed you were. I overestimated your capabilities. You're weak."
"I'm not weak!" she argued back, eyes full of rage. How dare she assume that she's weak!
"Then prove it. Prove that you're not weak, and stand up." Oblivia struggled to stand on her feet, but failed. Kira just walked away in slight disappointment.
"Well, that's it," Takamatsu stated.
"Ha! Told you she wouldn't stand a chance," Noda said.
"They're all looking down at me, like I'm some pathetic weakling," Oblivia thought as she watched them all. "I'm not weak! I'm not!" She started to remember something of her past.
(FLASHBACK)
Oblivia was laying in her blood after Muno stabbed her, and left her to die. "Is this it?" she thought, waiting for death to overtake her. "Is this the end? Am I going to die? Everything I did… Was it for nothing? I failed my people. I was supposed to be a leader everyone would look up to. I was supposed to protect my people, but now look. I'm on the verge of death because I let my guard down. I'm such a weak and pathetic princess." She closed her eyes, but then just as suddenly popped them right back open. "NO!" she yelled out. "I won't end like this! Not yet! I won't die until I know my castle is safe from harm." She gripped her scythe tighter. "I'll kill you, Muno! You'll join me in death! This is my final stand!"
(END OF FLASHBACK)
Oblivia got up, and then fire started consuming her, spreading around her. The SSS stared in shock. Before anyone could react, a fireball was thrown towards Kira's back. "Kiki!" Hinata yelled out as she was hit. He was about to go to her to see if she was alright, but was held back by Kiraba and Rasshu. "Let me go, guys!" he shouted, struggling helplessly against the two stronger demons. "Kiki's hurt! She needs help!"
"Be quiet already, you imbecile," Rasshu growled, annoyed. Hinata shut his mouth. "Do you really think Lady Kira would be defeated that easily?"
"What do you mean?" The blue haired couldn't help but ask.
"Just watch," Kiraba said, calmly. Hinata just sat back down, reluctantly followed by Kiraba and Rasshu. Everyone watched as the fire dissipated, revealing an unharmed Kira, holding Sen Sureiyazu's sheath. But what really surprised the SSS was that it was absorbing the blow somehow.
"What the…?" Yuri said, astonished.
"Is that magic or something?" Fujimaki asked.
"No," Miss Sayaka said, and they turned to her. "Sen Sureiyazu's sheath has a barrier surrounding it. In other words, it protected Lady Kira."
"So? It protected her?" Hinata asked in slight relief that Kira was not hurt. Sayaka gave a small smile.
"Ah! Young love," she thought. "Yes, but there won't be a second in time," she said, warningly. "The sheath won't hold."
"Looks like you regain your resolve," Kira said.
"You bet!" Oblivia said with a smirk. The Battlefront gasped at her new appearance. She didn't have human ears. Instead she had pointed elf like ones, and a fiery bird like wings on her back. "Now time to talk though. Take this!" She swung her scythe, and shot a horde of fireballs towards Kira. The golden-haired girl quickly jammed her claws into her skin, drawing out blood.
"Blood Crimson Light Blades!" she shouted. Red crimson blades made of Kira's own blood were cancelling out the fireballs.
"What was that?" Yui asked as they all watched in awe as Kira turned her own blood into a weapon. She turned her own blood into a weapon?
"Guess, you guys never seen demonic powers before, huh?" Skyla said.
"That was one of Lady Kira's attacks called 'Blood Crimson Light Blades'," Miss Sayaka said. "Lady Kira, basically, takes her blood, and infuses it with her demonic powers turning it into blood like blades," she explained. "It's one of Lady Kira's attacks, and it's considered the weakest out of all of them."
"You call that weak?!" Otonashi exclaimed. "It seemed pretty strong to me, and it countered those fireballs.
"It just goes to show how strong Lady Kira truly is," Koko said.
"Yeah," Yuri said softly. She was in awe and sort of envious of Kira. She wouldn't admit it, but Kira seems like a stronger and better leader than her. Oblivia was looking extremely exhausted. That last move took a lot out of her.
"No surprise," Kira thought. "Everyone gets like that when their powers comes to surface because they need time to adjust to getting their powers back. Using them now after just getting them back, takes a lot of strain on you. That's why we train to get ourselves to the same power levels we were before our untimely deaths. But I'm surprised she wasn't fainted yet. Hmph, she's strong. I'll give her that."
"I don't have enough energy left in me to keep going," Oblivia thought, breathing heavily. "This is my last chance to finish this one and for all. I'll end it now with this one attack. I will not lose!"
(FLASHBACK)
Oblivia found Muno on the roof. He wasn't spotted her, yet. This is out of character of her, but she was no other choice, and very little strength left. Her time was running out. Sneak attacks are not her thing, but she has to do it. She has to kill him this way, for the sake of her people. With the last of her strength, she created a huge fireball, it was bigger than the castle itself, and hurled it towards the traitor. Muno noticed it at the last second. "What the hell? How is it possible?" he asked, surprised and in fear for his life. He tried to escape it by flying off, but it was too late. "AAAAAHHHHHHH!" he screamed as he was caught in the blast, and killed. Oblivia collapsed on the ground once more.
"I'm sorry, everyone," she whispered as she closed her eyes permanently this time, and death consumed her. That's how she truly died.
(END OF FLASHBACK)
Now the same giant fireball that killed Muno, came hurling towards Kira. "This is it," Oblivia thought with smirk, smelling the stench of victory that was sure to come her way.
"There's no way Kira can survive that," Yuri said ass they watched the fireball coming towards her. They all stared wide-eyed at how big it was. It was bigger than the school! How does Kira hope to survive a blast from that?
"Kira better get dodge it," Ooyama said.
"It's too big to dodge," Kiraba stated.
"Plus, dodging that… I highly doubt Lady Kira has any attention of doing that," Skyla added.
"What do you mean," Yui asked.
"Just watch." They all turned in time to see Kira committing suicide by, literally, jumping into the fireball, doing a little spin.
"IS SHE CRAZY?!" Yuri shouted. That was just suicide. What the hell could Kira be thinking?
"Ha! There's no way she'll survive that," Noda said. "Hmph! She's dumber than I thought."
"Kiki, no!" Hinata yelled. The AHB just shook their heads, and sighed.
"Be quiet for once, and just watch, you idiots," Rasshu growled, irritably. The Battlefront shut their mouths, and just watched, like he said. Everything went in slow motion. Kira escaped through the fireball. But she didn't escape unscathed. She had burn injuries everywhere. The golden-haired girl slashed Oblivia with Sen Sureiyazu. The slash went to her left shoulder all the way to her right hip.
Oblivia woke up in the infirmary. "Look! She's waking up," Ooyama said. A pair of orange eyes fluttered open to reveal the members of the Anti-Human Battalions and Afterlife Battlefront standing around her bed.
"Are you okay, Oblivia?" Yuri asked, concerned. She just groaned in response.
"What happened? Did I win?" she asked.
No, you lost," Takamatsu said, pushing his glasses. She let out a big sigh. She almost won the match. Man, this sucks. She thought she would have won when her powers resurfaced. Damn it!
"Leave." Everyone turned to Kira.
"What?" Hinata asked, trying to act like he didn't he what she said. He had his arm around her, which of course made her quite flustered when he first did. Especially in front of everyone.
"Leave now," she repeated, more forcibly. "Everyone, get out." The AHB hurriedly pushed the SSS out of the room with slight protests coming from Hinata, Yuri, and Noda. Hinata caused her was worried about Kira, Yuri because she wanted to know what was going on, and Noda because Yuri was. "You did well," the coyote girl praised Oblivia. "I never thought you'll waken your powers so soon, or have that much power within you. I've always known you were a demon, and a powerful one at that. I just didn't expect you to awaken so much of your power in such a short time."
"Thanks, the orange haired girl said, blushing at the obvious praise. There was a few moments of silence.
"Hey, listen," Kira said. "In our battle early, you made me realize how strong a person desire to protect can make them powerful. I used to be like that," she admitted. "That is…until I lost two people dear to me." She paused. "But… Now I have another person I want to protect, so I'm going to get stronger to do just that. Getting stronger to protect him."
"Is it that boy you love so much?" the other girl asked. She looked away, and blushed ten shades of red.
"Yeah. I want to protect him with my life. It's the least I could do after…after everything he's done for me." The golden-haired girl turned her head back to the injured one, her blush disappearing. "So let's make a promise to each other. Let's promise that we'll both get stronger to protect the our loved ones, never fall into the path of revenge, and never isolate ourselves from our friends and comrades. Promise?" Kira finished, extending her hand turned Oblivia. The orange haired girl smiled.
"Promise," she said, both of them shaking hands. The coyote girl opened the door, telling everyone it's okay to come back in.
"Kiki? What did you guys talk about?" Hinata asked.
"It's a secret," was the response he got.
"So…Kira," Yuri started to say. "Wha-
"Whoa, whoa, whoa! Hold up! Hold up!" Everyone turned to Oblivia as she looked like she was about to have a heart attack.
"What is it, Oblivia?" Kanade asked. She just ignored her.
"Did you say 'Kira'? THE Lady Kira? Princess Kira? The Princess of Japan? The 'Kira' that owns all of Japan? The 'Kira' that's also known as 'The Blazing Princess Kira'? That 'Kira'?
"Yeah, that's me," Kira admitted.
"WHAT?!" all the SSS members screamed out loud enough for the whole world to hear, causing some of the AHB to cover their sensitive ears.
"Oh, my God!" Oblivia looked like she was about to faint. Princess Kira has always been her idol ever since she was little. She can't believe fought her, and didn't even know. AND she made a promise WITH her! Her idol! She never thought she'll meet her in the flesh and blood, but here she was. This is truly an honor!
"You're a princess, Kiki?!" Hinata asked in complete shock, looking down at her. A million thoughts of him ACTUALLY dating a princess NEVER crossed his mind until now. He never guessed he'll be going out with a half-human being, but a princess at that. His girlfriend was actually a princess?! That's a lot to take in! But he wouldn't love her any more or any less. She's still the same Kira to him. She will always be his Kira, princess or not.
"You guys never knew you were talking to Princess Kira this whole time?!" Oblivia exclaimed amazed. She's only the second most powerful ruler to ever live." Yuri caught onto this.
"'Second most powerful'?" she questioned. "Who's the first?" The orange haired was taken aback.
"You don't know that either? Everyone knows that the most powerful ruler to ever live in demon history is Kira's f-ah!" She was caught off when a certain, now revealed princess, jumped on her, covering her face with her pillow.
"All this 'powerful ruler' talk is going right through your head," she said, annoyed. They just watched as Kira was shoving the pillow in Oblivia's face with dumb expressions on their faces as the latter was struggling to get free. She managed to do that when the coyote princess removed the pillow. She looked at Kira who had a 'keep-your-mouth-shut' look.
"Let's just keep that, too, as our little secret," she said instead, giving Kira a knowing wink, and laughed. Some of the AHB members smiled as they watched. The Battlefront looked at each other unsure. The really wanted to know who was the most powerful ruler, if Kira was second in line. Who could be more powerful than Kira? If Kira was this strong, and was the second most powerful… How strong is the first? Plus, Kira hasn't even begun to show her full strength yet. They all shivered in slight fear in thinking who could be stronger than Kira herself.

(A/N: Well, that's the end of another exciting chapter of 'Hinata Meets Someone New'! Wow! Who would have thought that Kira turned out to be a princess? That was certainly a surprise! Sorry about the fight scene. I'm not good at those, yet. I'm working on it. Just a heads up… Kira won't be here in the next three chapters. For the next three chapters…some of the AHB members past will be revealed. I won't tell you who. You'll just have to keep reading to find out, and the reason why Kira will be gone… You'll find out in the next chapter. Just to let you know…Oblivia is now on the a member of the Anti-Human Battalions, and Kanade is an official member of the Afterlife Battlefront. The reason why Oblivia chose to be a member of the AHB was not because Kira was her idol. It was because she would be better suited to be a member in that team than in the SSS. For starters, the SSS are all human. They wouldn't be able to help her train to get her powers. The AHB are more suited for that since all the members ARE demon, half-demons, or humans with spiritual powers or special abilities. Oblivia is a fire bird demon. There's two songs in this chapter. Opening two and three of Gash Bell.
The beginning song is the second opening. The reason I picked this why is that Kira was think about her past once more, and I thought this song could relate to it. The part of Kira's past when she had Minka.
The ending song is the third opening. The reason for this one is when Kira made a promise with Oblivia.
Anyway, I hoped you all enjoyed the chapter. Please read and review!)
