Chapter 14

Jack woke up just as Trish enters the room. His eyes fill with tears and he runs to her. Wrapping his arms around her waist he crys into her. "I missed you so much."

"It's ok I'm here now Jack."

"Peter looked everywhere for you. He could never find you. I was afraid that I would never see you again."

"Jack I will always find my way to you no matter the distance."

Peter flys into the room and spots Trish. I see you found your way here I was just out looking for you mother. It's fine Peter I came back now it's late time for bed."

Both boys sigh as they head to bed. Trish sits down and thinks hard about what she should do. Her thoughts travel to Hook wondering what he could possibly be up too. She sighs softly as she allows sleep to take over.

Back on the ship...

Hook lets out a deep sigh as he rubs the tears from his eyes. How could he just let her leave. She took half of his heart with her when she left. He closes his eyes but sleep eludes him. Finally giving up he rises to his feet and paces the cabin. Walking to the wash basin he runs his good hand into the basin and rubs clear cool water onto his face. Looking out the port hole he notices that the sun is just rising over the ocean.

Leaving the cabin he heads up on deck and glances out towards the forest. Finally he screams out, "SMEE!"

Rushing up towards Hook, Smee stumbles, "you called captain."

"Aye, ready the ship we're moving to the other side of the island."

"Of course captain as you wish sir," he rushes off to fulfill his orders.

Walking towards the middle of the ship as it sets sail he keeps his head down. Not noticing two people leave the safety of the forest and head towards the ship. A voice carrys over the breeze, "wait for us... come back please..."

Raising his head Hook is surprised to see a woman and a young boy running towards his ship. A smile crosses his face and without a further thought he rushes to the rails and jumps over board. Without missing a beat he swims towards the two as his men hurry to get a boat into the water to retrieve their captain.

Pulling his weighted body out of the water he moves towards them. Taking her hands into his one he looks into her eyes deeply. "I didn't think I would see you again so soon."

Trish blushes slightly, " I couldn't stay away, but we are going to need to make some changes, if I am going to remain."

A smile crosses his lips "I'm sure we can come to some agreement."
