The Next Day at the Guild…

Lucy's POV

Oh, fuck. *sigh* there I go again, cussing. What a bad habit. I got up from my worm and comfy bed, and stared dully at my reflection in the mirror in front of the mirror. To be honest, I look like a pile of shit; my blonde hair sticking out weirdly. I sighed again, as my hand reached to comb my hair and did my usual morning stuff before heading to the guild, in my casual clothes.

As I entered, I noticed a large crowd of people inside, many not from Fairy Tail. What the hell is going on? *light bulb flash*

Oh shit, shit, shit. The PFD. How in the world did I forget today's the last, and worse, most important day?! I got out of my mental trauma though, as Laxus shook my shoulder. "Hey Lulu, are you ready yet?" he asked worriedly. I said yes, though I knew I wasn't. We walked together to the back of the stage, in silence. It's a rule that in the final round of the PFD, we can't see ach other's performances. Fine by me; I don't want to see Natsu's and Lisanna's suckish one.

30 minutes later…

Dang it! It's our turn now! I felt my legs turning into jell-o, and murmured to myself: "I can't do this, I can't do this, I can't do this …" "Chill, everything will be okay." I say to calm myself. FTW! Taking a deep breath, I stepped into the stage, with Laxus besides me. I saw Lisanna smirk, that must mean their performance were really REALLY good. I gulped nervously and waited for the music to start.

Really, I'm so stupid. With Laxus here besides what could go wrong? Nothing. Exactly, nothing. I felt calmer now… as I sang, I kinda felt grateful. It's not lonely anymore. I smile unconsciously, and danced a little bit to the song. Finally Laxus began singing…

Laxus' POV

I smiled to myself. I'm glad she's having fun…

The song kinda reminds me of myself, like when Ivan (author's note: since Laxus hate him he doesn't call him 'dad') never gave a shit about me. I nearly snorted myself. So what? I have Fairy Tail now, the Thunder God Tribe, Gramps… and Lucy. I blush subconsciously.

For the last few lines we sang in sync, peacefully. Finally the song ended.

"So, the show is ended! Which team deserves to win?" Gramps asked excitedly. People handed their slips of paper, and the machinery counted them up. DING-DING DING! "And so the lucky winner is… omigod its my grandson and Lucy by 5 votes!" Gramps shouted in glee. Goodie, we won. i smirked to myself, as I glanced sideways to the other team, and saw them glare at us. Such sore losers they are, geez…

"The mystery prize for them is… a free trip to the exclusive Coney Island's… THE CYCLONE!" Inwardly, I smirk, but suddenly I feel bad for Lucy since she probably has a fear of heights. And I was right. Lucy's face looked as pale as a ghost.

Now how will this work out?
