Hi guys! I just wanted to do a short update and let you guys know some new things about the story.

Firstly, I hope you have all enjoyed it so far! I honestly feel that this character has so much potential and would have made things more interesting in the show, maybe you don't see it yet, but you will as time goes by. Please let me know what you guys think by leaving a review down below, or by following/favouriting the story, (and thank you to the people who have already!)

Now, so far in the story, I've tried to cover every scene I could see Chris having any part in, but to speed things up a bit I've decided to skip certain parts. For example, last chapter, the gang made it to the CDC, but in this chapter we'll move straight to Shane's breakdown with Lori. Also, I don't think I'm going to do the explosion scene at the end of season 1 because the character would have no further impact on it. Plus, I'm just really eager to move on to season 2! YAY!

So, anyway, I hope you guys are cool with this shizzle, and if you ever have any suggestions for the series then just let me know! Thankyou!

Chapter 14

"Well boys, as fun as it's been kicking your asses, me and my dear friend Mr. Beer Bottle are gonna go have a lie down!" With that said I threw my hand of cards down on the table and stood to leave. As I did, Dale and T-Dogg, both gestured me a good bye wave, whereas Glenn's unconscious body lay sprawled out over the table. Slowly, I moved towards him and leaned in until my mouth was inches from his ears, and suddenly screamed "GLENN!" His body jumped and he made some sort of screeching noise as his head jerked upwards, "I think it's time you went to bed," I say, laughing with the others as his hazed eyes scan over us all. "And," Dale started, reaching for the beer bottle in Glenn's hand, "I think it's time you stopped drinking." Me and T-Dogg snigger as Glenn clumsily rises to his feet, "Okay, I think I'd best go anyway, see you all tomorrow"

With the beer bottle in hand, I make my way down the corridor looking for room 12B- Jenner had allocated all the adults separate rooms. He said it'd be right by the common room. As if by coincidence, I heard muffled noises coming from that very room. I creeped up to the door and pressed an ear against it. "Shane, Shane stop" I heard Lori say. Slowly, I place my hand on the handle, ready to burst in there if required. I heard another cut off scream from Lori and burst through the door with enough strength to shame a Football player at the Super Bowl.

To my surprise, Shane was slumped over Lori's body, a hand trailing up her leg and nearly under her nightgown. Without any second thought, I was on him. At first I wrapped right arm under his, and my left around his neck, before slamming him into the wall behind us. I held him there for several moments, before looking back at Lori who had nothing but pure horror and disgust on her face. Once Shane stopped resisting, I pulled him around to face me. His expression changed as soon as he saw her, he was no longer an angry, drunk man, but instead he was a man in shock, someone who realised there previous actions and instantly regretted them. When he looked at me, I couldn't bear to look back; I feared that I would try to kill him. Instead, I stared at his chest; I could only imagine the look of devastation and disgust written over my face.

"Get out of my sight" I spit, restraining myself in every way possible as he shuffles towards the door. When I hear the door shut, I hold their momentarily, taking in what I'd just seen. Did he really just do that? Whoever that was just now, that wasn't my brother.

After the brief silence between us, I turn to face Lori, who was, to no one's surprise, in complete shock. She knew that that wasn't Shane either, she had to. I move towards her, slowly, trying not to scare her. "Lori," I start, but somehow, I'm unsure of how to finish my sentence. Instead, I raise a hand and place it gently on her shoulder; she looks at me once more, before crashing into my chest in a complete breakdown. "Lori, I am so sorry" I promise her, trying to calm her down. "That will never happen again, I promise you." I look back up at the wall opposite us, and with a nearly silent and cold voice, whisper "I promise".
