It was three in the morning when he woke up and it was because he desperately wanted strawberries in cream with sugar -something he would have shuddered in revulsion over were he not pregnant- and shook the blonde gently.
"Shizu-chan..."
Shizuo groaned a bit, not wanting to be woken before rolling onto his back, sleeping peacefully. It'd take Izaya more than a gentle shake and muttering his name to wake him.
Izaya pouted and then licked the shell of Shizuo's ear to see if that worked. Next would be repeated poking.
At the lick, Shizuo just shuddered, hand lightly swatting at the source. Repeated poking would be what woke him.
Izaya trailed one finger down Shizuo's spine to the middle of his back and then began poking him rapidly. "Shizu-chan, Shizu-chan, Shizu-chan~"
Shizuo groaned again before one eye opened. "What is it?" His voice was tired sounding, with good reason. It was three in the morning.
"I need strawberries..." Izaya mumbled sheepishly.
"Do you have any in the fridge or do I have to buy them?"
"Buy them... otherwise I wouldn't wake you up... sugar too, you need sugar... and cream..."
Shizuo yawned before getting up and wondering over to his shirt. He didn't bother with the vest or the tie. "Okay... Strawberries, sugar and cream. You want anything else while I'm out?" He did not want to get up again.
"No..." Mind Izaya had no way of knowing what he would crave later on.
Shizuo yawned again before nodding and grabbing the spare key Namie had given him. "Alright then. I'll be back in a bit." He yawned again, not liking being up so early before heading out the door and to the store.
Izaya smiled and waited for the other to return on the couch.
It was about a half hour later that Shizuo returned with the strawberries, sugar and cream. He let himself in with the spare key before handing the bag of groceries to Izaya. He yawned again. "Need anything else? If not. I'ma head back to bed."
"I'm okay for now I think" He smiled as he headed into the kitchen to prepare the snack he craved so badly.
Shizuo yawned again before nodding and heading to the bed. He was tired and wanted to sleep. He didn't even both taking his shirt off before curling up in the bed and falling asleep.
Izaya fixed his snack and ate before returning to the bed, smiling a little at Shizuo's sleeping form. He cuddled into the others side when he got back in bed and fell asleep again quickly.
Shizuo ended up waking early. Well, early for him. It was about seven in the morning. He really didn't want to get up, but he had to. So he could get home, shower and change before work. The blond groaned before getting up and out of Izaya's embrace. Can't just leave without saying anything...
He lightly shook the raven. "Izaya, I'm leaving now. Gotta go home and get ready for work. I'll be back after work."
"Mmn... okay..." He mumbled, "You can bring s-stuff here too you know... so you can sleep a little late..."
Shizuo yawned before nodding. "Yeah. Probably will. Too tired right now." He lightly yawned again as he grabbed his vest and bow-tie. "Any way, I'm leaving now. See ya after work."
"Mmn, see ya..." Izaya mumbled, drifting back into sleep
Shizuo smiled before heading home. He took a quick shower, waking himself up, and changed. He didn't have any time to pack something for Izaya's before work. He'd get it after, and he headed out to meet up with Tom and Vorona, raising a hand in greeting when he saw the two.
They both smiled and Vorona flirted with him -certain she would have him back soon though not if Izaya had anything to say about it.
Vorona's flirting did nothing for him. He was helping Izaya. Izaya also was having his kid. Vorona wasn't. And, he had broken up with her. Shizuo pretty much treated Vorona like when he had first met her.
After work, he headed home so that he could stuff some night clothes and changes of clothes into a bag before taking the train to Shinjuku and letting himself in with the spare key.
"Hey Shizu-chan~" Izaya said happily. He was in the best mood he had been in for days and he was nearly finished making dinner too.
Shizuo smiled and set his bag down. "Hi Izaya. You sound happy." Ah, that dinner smelled delicious. But, he could wait for it to be done.
"Mmn, I am right now~" He grinned as he finished up and put the food on the table on plates for Shizuo and himself.
Shizuo smiled as he took a seat. "Well that's good." He took a bite of the meal before humming lightly. It tasted good, as always.
Izaya ate quietly, wondering if Shizuo would help with ALL his cravings... there was one he'd had for a few weeks now after all but only Shizuo could help with that...
Shizuo would help him with that... but only after they got back together. He didn't belief in having relations for someone he wasn't with.
After dinner, Shizuo stretched. "There anything you want or want to do? Or we just gonna go to bed?" Of course, Shizuo was referring to food or maybe a movie.
"W-well... there is one but..." he knew Shizuo wasn't the type to cheat and he had no idea he'd broken up with Vorona.
"Hm?" Shizuo glanced over at Izaya. "Well what is it?" Again, Shizuo would say that they had to be together first.
"You wouldn't help with it, no point in saying anything..." Izaya mumbled, shifting a little in discomfort, his cheeks flushing a little in embarrassment.
Shizuo frowned lightly before sighing. "Don't bring stuff up if you don't think I can or will help." It could have been a variety of things that Izaya wanted help with, which is why Shizuo didn't pin point what it was.
"Fine! Then for the last six weeks I've been really...horny.." the last word was meek in a way, as though he knew what Shizuo's reply would be.
Oh... Well, he wasn't with Vorona but... Shizuo sighed and shook his head. "I can't help with that. Not unless we're together." Again, he didn't tell Izaya that he wasn't with Vorona. He wanted to see what Izaya would say afterward.
"I know... and... since you're with her anyways I didn't expect anything... Izaya sighed softly and sat on the sofa, closing his eyes, one hand on his abdomen to see if he could feel it moving on the outside instead of just the inside.
Shizuo shook his head as he sat next to Izaya. "I'm not with Vorona."
"You're ... not?" He asked in mild surprise, one eye opening to look at the other.
Shizuo nodded. "Yeah. I'm not. I broke up with her before work yesterday."
"Oh... well then... sorry I guess..." He didn't feel bad though, that had been is plan.
Shizuo shook his head. "No. It's fine."
"Just... so you know Shizu-chan... I... still love you, you know..." He fidgeted again, though he smiled softly when he felt a light fluttering both inside his abdomen and against his fingertips.
Shizuo smiled. "Well. That's good. Because I still feel deeply for you." He didn't say love, just in case Izaya didn't want to be together with him.
"Would you be... completely opposed to... trying again?" he asked though.
"To being together again?" Shizuo shook his head. "No. I'd be completely fine with that."
Izaya smiled at that and then grabbed Shizuo's hand and placed it over the movement, "Can you feel that~?"
Shizuo blinked before his eyes widened slightly and he nodded. "Yeah. I can." He smiled softly. This was his kid. His and Izaya's.
Izaya knew the baby would be fine if just Shizuo loved it. Izaya didn't think he could love it after all, he'd only loved Shizuo and his sisters, but he was unaware still of how deeply affected he would be when he finally saw it.
Now, Shizuo leaned forward to gently kiss Izaya, hand still on the other's abdomen so that he could feel the child.
Izaya smiled, his free hand reaching up to hold the blonde there for at least a moment while he kissed back.
Shizuo deepened the kiss momentarily before pulling away, smiling lightly. "I love you, Izaya."
Izaya grinned at that, "Shizu-chan... I... let's try again okay?" he mumbled nervously. After all they had a child on the way and they did love each other so... why not?
Shizuo nodded. "Yeah. Alright. We will." He smiled lovingly before connecting his lips with Izaya's again.
Both Izaya's arms wrapped around Shizuo's neck now, a low whine escaping him. This was too much... and yet not enough all at once. He needed the rest, he was desperate lately.
Shizuo pulled away again, smiling lightly. "So... you said you've been horny, right? Want some help with that?"
Izaya grinned and moved up, nibbling on Shizuo's neck lightly, "You have no idea~"
Shizuo chuckled lightly before lifting Izaya up and carrying him to the bedroom. "Then I guess I'll just have to help."
"Mmn~ good~" He purred, nibbling at a spot on Shizuo's ear that he knew turned the blonde on every time.
Shizuo moaned lightly before pushing his hands up under Izaya's shirt. One rested on his abdomen, while the other moved to play with his nipple.
Izaya grinned and then wiggled until Shizuo set him down before pulling the hoodie off and tossing it to the side, and then he motioned Shizuo over.
Shizuo didn't hesitate coming over. He immediately connected his lips to Izaya's when he did.
Izaya grinned, his hands undoing the others vest and dress shirt eagerly, his tongue already sliding out to meet Shizuo's.
Shizuo moaned lightly again, going to suck on Izaya's tongue while his hands roamed Izaya's body. He hadn't realized how much he had missed it.
Izaya had though, he knew exactly how bad he'd missed this and he was not going to stop at just one round either. His hands moved down readily now, unbuttoning and unzipping the others pants eagerly.
Shizuo was half hard right now, and it felt much better when his pants were removed. His hand moved to Izaya's abdomen, massaging it lightly as his other hand moved to Izaya's pants.
Izaya grinned, already much harder than Shizuo was, "Don't need much these days, just lots of it~" He murmured slyly in Shizuo's ear, licking along the shell of it with a smirk.
Shizuo let out a moan before leaning over the raven and nipping his nipple. One hand snaked behind the informant's back, holding him in place so that he wouldn't struggle, involuntarily or not.
He wasn't struggling really, more like writhing in enjoyment. "Shizu-chan~, bed~" he murmured.
Shizuo did, immediately moving both of them to the bed before connecting his lips to the raven's, hands going to slip off Izaya's underwear, seeing as that was the only thing he was wearing now.
Izaya moaned lightly, discarding Shizuo's boxers to the side now, his legs coming up so that Shizuo could fit between them, left leg hitching on Shizuo's hip.
Shizuo moved to nip at Izaya's ear, one of his hands running up and down Izaya's side. "Where's the lube, Izaya?"
"Mmn~, n-nightstand~" He gasped, hips rolling lightly as he groaned. He hadn't used any of it since they had broken up.
Shizuo smiled as he grabbed it, squirting some onto his hand before inserting a single digit inside of Izaya and moving it around.
"Mn, forget one finger, two, use two," Izaya groaned lightly, needing so much more than what he was getting.
Shizuo grinned and inserted the second finger. "Alright. Two." He scissored the two, doing what Izaya wanted.
Izaya moaned with a small smirk, hips rolling gently as he adjusted and it wasn't long before he whined for a third.
The third that Shizuo gladly slid into Izaya, spreading the three fingers apart while lightly thrusting them. It was really obvious how needy Izaya was like this, and Shizuo found that he liked it.
"Mmmn~, Shizuo~! Shizu-chan~" Izaya whined, his eyes closing in bliss but again he needed more quickly, "Shizu-chan, more..."
Shizuo grinned and gave Izaya a quick kiss before pulling away and his fingers out. "Alright then." He lubed himself up before lining up with Izaya. Waiting, just to see Izaya squirm a bit more.
Izaya growled and glared at the blonde, his hips moving up to try to force him inside.
Shizuo grinned and complied, pushing himself the rest of the way in as he connected his lips to Izaya's and waited for the raven to adjust.
It took almost no time at all and Izaya nipped at Shizuo's neck, "More... Shizuo, move..."
Shizuo nodded as he started to thrust, mouth moving to leave a large hickey on the raven's neck.
Izaya's moan was instant and gratified, his arms locking around the blondes neck needly as his mind went hazy.
Shizuo moaned, one hand going to Izaya's nipple, the other wrapping around the raven to hold him where he was. He missed this. And he hadn't realized it till now.
Izaya moaned and writhed for Shizuo, but at least he had been aware of how much he had missed Shizuo... and sex.
Shizuo moved to whisper in Izaya's ear. "I love how needy you are..."
"Ahh~ Nnn~, you m-might not l-later~" Izaya grinned impishly as his spine arched, forcing Shizuo to hit his sweet spot and creating the sweetest moan yet.
"At the moment... I don't care." Shizuo angled himself so that he'd always hit that spot. Loving the way Izaya moaned.
Izaya's toes curled up as heat pooled rapidly in his abdomen and soon he came hard against Shizuo's abdomen with a gasp, moaning the blondes name.
Shizuo groaned, Izaya's actions pushing him over the edge as he came, hard, thrusting in deep inside of Izaya. After he finished, he just panted, head against Izaya's shoulder.
Izaya grinned softly, trying to catch his breath. Oh, he could go for more still, but he might have to wait for Shizuo's day off to get more than one round in too, "You work tomorrow?" He mumbled softly?
Shizuo nodded slowly. "Yeah..." He pulled out of the raven before laying down next to him and holding him close. "I do work tomorrow."
"Mmn... then I won't press for more~" and if he had a craving he would try to get it himself without waking the blonde.
"Huh? Still needy?" He nuzzled his head in the crook of Izaya's neck. "When I get time off. Don't wanna be tired at work."
"Mmn, trust me, I've been needy for about six weeks and my hand does not do nearly enough~"
Shizuo chuckled lightly as he closed his eyes. "Then on my next day off, I won't let you leave the bed and make it so you can't after."
Izaya smirked, "Mmn~, I will happily take you up on that~" who was Izaya to say no after all? For now though he let himself grow tired and pressed into Shizuo's side both to cuddle him and for warmth.
Shizuo smiled and kissed Izaya's forehead. "Night Izaya."
"Night Shizu-chan... I love you..." Izaya murmured before passing out. He did wake once during the night but he left the bed and got what he wanted without waking Shizuo and slipped back in beside the blonde hopefully unnoticed.
Unnoticed was right. Shizuo slept like a rock. And come morning he stretched and headed towards the bathroom to shower. He left Izaya to sleep. The raven deserved sleep now more than ever.
Izaya sighed when Shizuo left his bed, snuggling right into where Shizuo had been sleeping to enjoy the blonde's scent some more.
Shizuo quickly finished with the shower and got dressed before shaking Izaya. "Oi. You should probably get up and take a bath or something."
"Mmng, don't wanna wake up yet..." Izaya mumbled with a cute pout. He wanted to sleep for another three days right now.
Shizuo chuckled. "If you don't get up now, I'll probably leave for work before you do."
Izaya pouted more at that and sat up sleepily, rubbing one eye before pulling Shizuo into a hug..
Shizuo chuckled lightly and hugged Izaya back. "Want me to run you a bath?"
"Hmmn... yes please, I'll make breakfast I suppose then~" Izaya murmured, getting up and pulling some boxers and shorts on at least.
Shizuo smiled and headed to the bathroom to start the bath. He knew exactly how Izaya wanted it too, and that helped.
Izaya finished making the food and ate his share with Shizuo before his bath so he could see the other off with a kiss. He thought maybe he would go out today too. He would need some new pants soon anyways with his waistline expanding.
