Three took a slight drink from his whiskey as he watched the ember colored liquid disappear before he felt the warm feeling of it trickling down his throat. He's been craving a bar scene lately, being cooped up on the Raza didn't really have its perks, especially when you were trying to avoid someone. His eyes moved to the left as he noticed a red haired woman was watching him flirtatiously, when their eyes met, she winked at him. He gave her a small smile and rose up his glass to cheers her, but then hesitated, he thought for a moment before looking away from her. The signal was pretty clear to the woman as she scoffed and left the otherside of the bar.
"She was cute"
Three glanced to the side, "Yeah… she wasn't my type anyways"
"Since when have you ever turned down someone like that?" Six nodded in the direction of the woman.
"Are you saying that I've never had a type before?" Three cracked a smile before scoffing dryly, "Come on, man"
"Uh-huh" Six slowly nodded before raising a finger to get an order, "I think you just have a thing for the more… expensive type"
"Meaning" Three didn't miss a beat.
"Minako" Six studied him.
Three tensed up before he mumbled, "It's just a flirting game between us… nothing more"
"So you keep saying" Six said, "But I think there's something more that happened between the two of you. Something neither of you have shared yet"
"And what makes you think that I'm going to share with you?" Three snapped.
"Because you're in here, the farthest bar on the station from the Raza" Six explained, "Meaning you don't want a certain someone to come to find you because she's just been barely cleared to walk short distances"
"I just had a lot on my mind" Three said, "Wanted to walk around some and then this place just happened to be here"
"Care to elaborate?" Six asked.
Three turned to Six, "Why do you care so much, huh? What's it to you? What are you getting out of this?"
Six didn't say anything as he let Three's words sink in between them like his current mood, feeling like mud on his chest. The bartender finally got what Six ordered as Three tried to ignore his now urge to tell Six, he was fine with keeping this to himself. He looked down to his cup and spun it around, but he knew he couldn't keep it in forever. He felt sorry for what he was putting Minako through but he didn't know how to say it to her that what he did was a total mistake.
His mind kept drifting off to their kiss on the planet, how he felt that he couldn't move slow enough to soak Minako in well enough. Three was sure that if they weren't under attack, he would stay there forever with her. It wasn't until he was back on the Raza did he realize what kind of mistake he had made, he glanced to Six as he let out a frustrated sigh.
"Fine" Three said, "If you want to know so much… we kissed back on the planet"
"You kissed!?" Six blinked in surprise.
"Why is that so surprising?" Three narrowed his eyes to him.
"Nothing" Six said, "It's just that… I didn't think she would fall for you so quickly"
Three narrowed his eyes again, "Thanks"
"And you've been avoiding her ever since?" Six asked, "I thought you liked her"
"I do, man" Three pinched the bridge of his nose as he closed his eyes, "But it's just that at the end of the day we're from different parts of society. I'm a mercenary, thief, and one of the most wanted man in the galaxy and I'm not talking about in the bachelor category"
"I wasn't going to say you were" Six said.
Three frowned, "You get what I mean"
Three sighed as he continued, "The Android's right, no matter what, there will be more obstacles, if anything, and now I took it too far"
"What does Minako think about this?" Six questioned.
"What do you mean?" Three asked.
"Tell me you've told her what you just told me" Six said but when Three didn't respond, "So is that why you've been avoiding her? You never told her how you feel about what happened?"
Three sighed, "I couldn't, I'd freeze up before I could even get to her door"
Three scoffed, shook his head and brought his cup back to his lips. Confessing what he felt was harder than he thought, especially when it came to another crew member.
He brought his cup down and stared into it, wanting to shrug it off and let go of his emotions like he did with Two but this was different.
Six has noticed before about Three's behavior, it's a small ship and everyone seems to have taken notice as well. Minako has been in her room the whole time due to her injuries but whenever he would come in to see her, it seemed like something was missing. She was quiet, hesitates to ask questions, and often asked about everyone of the crew even if she's already seen the others not even two hours ago. Three has been everyone but Minako's hallway to go to her room, which meant to go to his quarters he takes the long way around. He's done nothing but clean his guns over and over again, it was almost similar to when Sarah had unexpectedly passed.
"I think you should probably talk to her" Six said, "You both have feelings for one another and even though you feel this way, she might feel differently. When you kissed it was in a dire emergency but in the end, it happened. The cats officially out of the bag right now and there's nothing you can do about it but talk to her. You would hate it if she avoided you, especially when you were injured"
"Yeah, it was a dick move" Three said.
"So what are you going to do about it?" Six asked.
"Talk it her!" Three looked over to Six who rose his eyebrow, "I promise, I swear on my life"
"You better, or I'll tell the girls about it" Six said, "I highly doubt they would be less forgiving than me"
"Yeah, that's what I've been afraid of" Three looked over, "Where is she now?"
Six nodded to his right, "Five and Two went with her to a spa, they figured it she deserved it after injuring herself trying to save you"
Three laughed, "You're never going to let this go, are you?"
"You bet your ass I'm not" Six waved down the bartender, "This one's on me"
"It better be" Three shook his head.
"I think that's enough talking about what happened on this ship" Six rose up his glass.
"Amen to that" Three clanked his glass as together they took a sip.
