I woke up at the sound of my alarm and started doing my usual routine. I suddenly felt bothered since I was feeling a little indifferent today and I couldn't put my finger on what could have caused it. I eventually shrugged it off and went downstairs for breakfast.
I saw Gouenji walking a bit sluggishly down the hallway and an ingenious thought popped in my head.
"Wake up sunshine!" I half whispered to him before slapping his butt nice and hard.
"Wha!? Hey come back here!" He demanded but I was already halfway down the stairs sprinting while laughing out loud.
'Yep! That's what I needed to brighten up my day' I mischievously thought while finding my place on the table.
"Good morning [f/n] nee-san!" Yuuka chimed happily next to me.
I couldn't resist those chubby cheeks of hers so I pinched them playfully.
"Good morning, too, Yuuka-chan! How was your sleep?" I asked happily.
I saw Gouenji sitting down on the chair across me and gave me a glare. I stuck my tongue out and returned my focus on Yuuka-chan.
"It was really nice! I dreamt that I was a princess and... and onii-chan was a prince... and nee-san and onii-chan got married and then... you two had babies! Lots and lots of them! There were about this much!" She said excitedly as she showed me her hands, all fingers spread out.
I could hear Gouenji choking on his drink while I just stared at Yuuka-chan amused, not knowing how to respond to what she just said.
"Yuuka, that's a little too many. It would be difficult for [f/n] to carry all of those children." Mr. Gouenji said calmly lecturing his daughter while Gouenji and I looked at him as if it was the only thing he had to clarify to her daughter.
"It's okay! Yuuka will help carry nee-san and onii-chan's babies! Yuuka is a big girl now!" She said as she stood on her chair, showing herself off.
"Yuuka-chan may be big now, but I still want a baby Yuuka-chan to cuddle and play with." I replied as I carried her off her chair and sitting her down.
"But Yuuka wants to grow up too! Nee-san and nii-chan should just make babies so that you can have someone to cuddle with!" Yuuka said so innocently while I just stared at her awkwardly, not knowing what to do given that Gouenji and his dad was at the table, listening to the conversation.
'Awkward' I thought while smiling away my embarrassment.
"Yuuka, that's not how it's supposed to work." Mr. Gouenji said, finally breaking the awkward feeling.
"Yeah. There's no way I have a baby with that baby." Gouenji said while smirking at me.
"You'd wish you'd have one with me." I rebutted.
Mr. Gouenji cleared his throat to get everyone's attention.
"That's not what I was trying to say. Yuuka, they should get married first BEFORE they have a baby." Mr Gouenji said emphasizing on 'before', probably casually hinting us to not have sex or at least not get caught having sex.
"Then they should get married now!" Yuuka said excitedly.
"Yuuka-chan~ I'm not ready to get married yet~" I chimed while pinching her cheeks lightly.
'nor do I have the intention of getting pregnant' I whimsically thought.
"But whyyyyyyyyyyyy~ Don't you want to get married to onii-chan?" She pouted at me.
"Well... it's not like that. It's more like-"
"Then maybe nee-chan is already married to someone else? Will you be having a baby soon?" She asked enthusiastically while I just looked at her, no idea how to respond.
"Yuuka-chan, that's grown up stuff. We'll talk about this again when you're a little older okay?" Fuku-san finally stepped in to calm the little girl.
I gave a thankful expression to Fuku-san who smiled and bowed a little to return my gesture.
"But Yuuka is already a big girl!" She protested.
"Hmmm... when you're as big as [f/n] nee-san, okay?" Fuku-san replied with a smile.
"How long will that be?" She said a little depressed.
"It depends on how good you are." Fuku-san replied with a childish lie that everyone in the table, except Yuuka, smiled knowingly.
"Yuuka will be a good girl! Daddy! Yuuka is a good girl right?" She said as she went to her father's side asking for reassurance.
Mr. Gouenji smiled at his daughter's actions and gave her a small pat on the head.
"Hmmm... Good girls always do their homework before playing and they clean up their toys too." He replied. Yuuka seemed horrified of his father's response.
"Yuuka promises to do her homework first and play later. Yuuka will also help Fuku-san with her work! Yuuka will be a good girl so I can be as big as [f/n] nee-san as soon as possible!" She said with a huge smile.
Everyone looked at the little girl's precious smile and since I was feeling a little thirsty, I decided to drink some water to which I ended up choking on.
I ended up coughing a lot and tearing up a little due to my own stupidity. Everyone looked at me with worried expression which really bummed me out.
"I'm fine. I just choked on water." I told them while laughing a little.
"Anyway, dad, the guys and I are going out today. Is that alright?" Gouenji asked.
"Sure, but you're not taking [f/n] with you?" He asked.
"It's a guy's night out. We'll probably be out until midnight. Bringing a girl with us is troublesome." He replied while I glared at him.
"Why is bringing a girl so troublesome? Afraid that girls would ruin your fun?" I snapped at him.
"Yes. We are afraid that girls would ruin our fun because if we bring one of you, we would have to constantly babysit you by making sure you don't get lost or go with some random stranger." He replied while I just accepted defeat since he does have a point.
"Why are you staying out so late anyway?" His dad asked.
"We just thought of celebrating the coming of the next month plus they said that moon is supposedly beautiful tonight." Gouenji answered respectfully.
"How about that [f/n]? Do you want to join them? I won't allow him to leave tonight if you're not around." His dad said while Gouenji has a shocked look on his face, not knowing what to say or feel about his father giving his permission on whether or not I come.
As much as I would love to, I know I couldn't. I completely forgot that today is the end of the second month. The witch said that I would end up getting sick every end-start of the month which gets worse. The last time, I passed out and ended up being nauseated the entire day.
I shivered at the flashback on how shitty I felt that day.
"As much as I want to, I can't. It seems I have an appointment, too, tomorrow. I forgot about it." I replied.
"That's too bad." Mr. Gouenji said.
"Yeah, that's too bad. But I can still go with the guys right?" Gouenji said a bit too hopeful.
His father took a deep breathe and nodded.
===Morning Practice===
"Hey guys!" Yuri greeted as she walks towards us.
"Yuri! How are you?" I chimed.
"Ah! Bento!" Haruna exclaimed.
"Hiroto-kun is so lucky to have you, Yuri-san." Fuyuka said in her usual sweet gentle voice.
"Actually..." Yuri started. Our attention suddenly on her.
"It's not for Gran." Yuri said.
"For yourself then?" Natsumi asked while Yuri just shook her head. We suddenly have question marks on our head only to be disrupted by coach's whistle.
"Your dad's whistle timing is seriously impeccable Fuyuka." I said seriously while the other girls just sweatdropped.
We started handing out towels and water bottle. Yuri put down her stuff and helped us with our usual manager chores.
"Ah Yuri!" Hiroto said as he ran towards the female.
"Gran!" She replied before giving him a big hug. Because we're all such good friends, everyone's eyes were on them.
"I couldn't thank you properly last night so..." Yuri said shyly.
"It's okay. Though, you don't usually thank someone who broke up with you so kindly." Hiroto said while chuckling.
"EH?!" Everyone exclaimed.
"Wait! You guys broke up!?" Aki asked while Yuri just gave an enthusiastic nod.
"Why do you look so happy? What Hiroto-kun really that bad of a boyfriend?" Haruna asked.
"Hey! I'm still here, you know?" Hiroto exclaimed but everyone just ignored him.
Yuri was quick to shake her head.
"Gran was a really good boyfriend and I can honestly vouch that the next person he dates would be treated like a queen." Yuri said as she held both of my hands and looks at me in the eyes.
"Eh?" I asked completely confused.
"That's all I came here to do. I have to go now. See you guys later!" Yuri said before bowing and leaving.
"Did [f/n] just got a blessing to date Hiroto from Yuri?" Natsumi asked while I stare at her.
"There you have it, [f/n]." Hiroto said as he starts to walk towards me.
He gently slid his hand down from the top of my head, letting my hair run through his fingers, and kissed a lock of my hair.
"Let me turn you into a queen, milady." Hiroto said in such a princely manner that I feel my blood slowly creeping out of my nose.
"HOLD IT RIGHT THERE!"
Aki suddenly did a chop to separate Hiroto and I. When I turn to look at Hiroto, he was already on the ground with Kazemaru and Gouenji stomping at him and Fubuki scolding him about delicacy and appropriateness.
"Hiroto-kun!" Aki said causing everyone to stop what they were doing.
Hiroto looked up and slowly stood up, Kazemaru and Gouenji still growling at him.
"How dare you start to hit on [f/n] when you just broke up with Yuri-chan! Don't you even know about the three month rule?" Aki started scolding. I noticed the other managers nodding in agreement.
"That was a legit thing?" I asked to which Aki replied by squishing my face with her hands.
"[F/n], listen to me. You can't just suddenly date someone who just broke up with his/her ex. It's really rude to the other party." Aki explained.
"Yep. It's like the grieving period to the now dead relationship even if they did broke up nicely. You just DON'T date someone who just broke up within the 3 month period." Haruna added.
"Ohhhh... Sorry Hiroto." I said apologetically.
To be honest, I was sort of looking forward to going on date with Hiroto again. I still couldn't forget the first time we went on a date.
"Ehhhhhh... Yuri-chan already gave her blessing though." Hiroto said in disappointment.
"NO!" Haruna said threatening Hiroto with a pen she was holding.
"Kiyama Hiroto, I, Raimon Natsumi, hereby sentence you to a 5 meter restraining order from [f/n]." Natsumi said with her head held high and authoritative tone.
"I don't think you have the power to do that, Natsumi-san." Hiroto said.
"Whether or not she does..." Kazemaru looked at Hiroto menacingly said.
"...We'll make sure you follow." Gouenji looking the same as Kazemaru added.
"Guys. Guys. Calm down." Fubuki said trying to distance the two boys from Hiroto.
Once Fubuki was able to put himself in between Gouenji & Kazemaru pair and Hiroto, he turned to look at Hiroto with his usual kind face.
"But for the sake of everyone, please stay away from [f/n] until your three months is up. You wouldn't want to wake up a wolf, right, Hiroto-kun?"
I swear everyone went silent after hearing Fubuki's threat.
Coach's whistle was the one that saved all of us from the deafening silence and declared that morning practice is over.
After finishing my manager chores and getting permission to skip today and tomorrow's practices, I quickly left to buy the possible necessary things I need. I went to the pharmacy to buy some bandages, painkillers, gauze, and pretty much everything in preparation for the amount of pain I'll be enduring by midnight until tomorrow.
I went home immediately and dropped my medicinal kit in my room before entering Mr. Gouenji's work room and start working. I wanted to get a lot of things done so that things wouldn't pile up the day after tomorrow.
I've already told Mr. Gouenji about this end-of-the-month thing I have to experience and has offered me to stay at the hospital to at least help with the pain, but I declined the offer. It would be difficult if doctors think there's some sort of new disease going around suddenly causing pain out of nowhere. They might even decide to experiment on me and I am so not interested in any of that.
I had to remind him that it would happen midnight tonight and gave me a day off tomorrow. He also got Fuka-san in on it and made her not ask questions about it. With Fuka-san being involve in this, I didn't have to worry about asking for food that sick people could eat with ease. The only problem I have now is Gouenji.
I was thinking about telling him since we've been getting closer lately, but the whole 'Hey, you know, I came from another world and got really pissed at my parents so I got this fairy-witch grant me a wish and it may or may not involve me possibly romancing some people here. Oh and by the way, I kinda know almost everything that had happen to you since you were in middle school. It's all cool though. I'm not creepy and crazy at all' speech might be a little too much for him to handle.
I spent the rest of the day working on Mr. Gouenji's papers while taking a break here and there. Once I finished almost everything, I turned to look at the clock and see that it's 30 minutes until midnight.
I am dead tired as of the moment like I planned. I don't intend to be awake during midnight just to feel shitty for the next 24 hours.
I left the room to be greeted by Mr. Gouenji who seemed to just arrived home.
"Good evening dad." I greeted with a smile.
"Good evening." He smiled warmly before checking his watch.
He immediately frowned and looked concerned upon seeing that it's 30 minutes 'til midnight.
"I'll be heading to bed now. I'm really tired." I said trying to lighten up the mood.
"Would you mind if I check on you later?" He asked me seriously.
"Dad, you've been working all day. You must be tired."
"I'll only be checking up on you. It's not like I'll be executing an emergency operation." He said with a small laugh which immediately died after realizing that there might come a time that he does need to do so.
"It's only the second month. It shouldn't be that bad." I assured while he just gave a small skeptical nod.
"I'll be going upstairs now. Good night dad!" I said.
"Good night."
I went up and threw myself on my bed. I worked all day today. I never thought that looking at tons of medical papers could be so stressful. It didn't even reach 5 minutes before I felt myself falling into deep sleep.
===Some time later===
I felt my eyes suddenly open and the first thing I saw was Mr. Gouenji sitting on a chair a few feet away from me looking surprised. The second thing that registered in my head was to go to the bucket I bought earlier in case of feeling nauseated.
I ran to the bucket and start to let out the food I ate from dinner.
Mr. Gouenji immediately rushed to my side and started rubbing my back, trying to comfort me as much as possible and just when I was starting to feel better, I felt an extremely sharp pain from my stomach area.
I fell on the floor as I bit my lower lip, feeling the blood ooze out, trying to keep my screams from coming out. It was the middle of the night and I didn't want anyone to wake up. Mr. Gouenji quickly took a piece of cloth he found somewhere and made me bit on it instead.
The pain was intense and definitely way worse and longer than the first time. I looked to check at Mr. Gouenji who seems to be trying to say something, but my mind was getting cloudy and my senses dulling.
===Mr Gouenji's POV===
I keep talking to her, trying to make sure she was at least conscious, but after about 5-10 minutes of writhing in pain, she suddenly stopped.
I waved my hand in her face trying to get some kind of reaction but she didn't. I immediately removed the cloth I made her bit down as quickly and as gently as possible. Just in time, too, for after doing so, I felt her muscles clench and rigid.
I quickly grabbed one of her a flatter pillow and put it behind her head just before her body starts to jerk. I looked at my watch and start to time her seizure. I checked her room for potential hazards and if her clothes are loose enough, which thankfully is.
Her seizures stopped after 4 minutes.
"[F/n], can you hear me?" I asked. She nodded slowly after a few seconds.
I breath a sigh of relief.
"[F/n], I need you to listen to me and not panic. Okay?" I said and she nodded a bit more responsive than the first question.
"You just had a seizure that lasted for 4 minutes, but you're okay. You're not hurt anywhere and there's no need to worry about it. It's 17 minutes past midnight right now. Can you get up?" I asked.
She tried to speak but decided not to, and shake her head slowly. I nodded in response.
"I'm going to carry you to your bed now." I said and start to carry her to her bed.
I could see her eyes slowly closing while looking at me, trying to give thanks. I smiled and gently pat her head.
"Go to sleep. I'll stay here until you wake up tomorrow." I said as fatherly as possible.
"I'm... sorry..." She whispered.
"You're family and I'm a doctor. This is what I do everyday so don't worry." I replied as I sat on the chair I was originally sitting on.
I watch her close her eyes and slowly drift to sleep. If there was a small doubt in the back of my mind about her story, it completely vanished tonight.
'If this was the case, then by the end of the year, this girl will surely... die.'

Guess who's back?
Really sorry for the late upload. I've lost the inspiration to write about my beautiful bae.
There are a lot of you asking if I would be discarding this story. The answer is no. I intend to finish this story even if it takes me 5 more year... or at least I'll try not reach 5 more years xD
I'm doing a 15 day writing challenge wherein I write one chapter or a one shot per day and decide to update this story as well since I'm way behind in this one. ^^
Today's day 5 of 15 and I hope you like this chapter!
Gouenji: Why does my dad have a POV in this chapter and I don't?
Me: Because [F/n] have no recollection or understanding of what happened to her at that time and you were out with the boys.
Fubuki: Is [F/n] alright?
Me: She's fine... I guess. hehe
Hiroto: My dear author-chan~ Why do I have a restraining order? ("OwO)
Me: The 3-month rule should be followed.
Kazemaru: You came back after what? a year? And I barely have any screen time.
Me: [F/n] is a strong independent woman and doesn't need a man to complete her life... plus it's about time she have a whole chapter without much boy drama.
Fubuki: But... Gouenji-kun was being pretty dramatic in this chapter.
Gouenji: Eh?!
Kazemaru: That's not something new, Fubuki. Everyone knows he's such a drama queen.
Everyone else in the background: *nods in agreement*
Gouenji: I'm too cool for dramas. *acts cool*
Hiroto: And there we have exhibit A.
*Hiroto runs away from Gouenji with a baseball bat*
