"Get up!" Will shook me awake. Shit I'd fallen asleep! Luckily it was too dark out for Will to notice my face which now could probably matched a tomato.
"It's past curfew." he whispered.
"So?" It's not like anyone really obeyed it.
"We could get in trouble!" he sounded worried as he pushed me gently off his lap. He hurriedly shoved everything back in the picnic basket.
"Come on Death boy." He pulled me off the ground and grabbed my hand.
We ran back to my dorm, or rather Will ran and I got pulled.
He said goodnight and gave me a hug. And then ran back into the darkness.
The little dork.
I snickered as I headed up to my room.
As I reached for the doorknob a piece of paper crinkled in my pocket.
The note from earlier.
Dear Nico,
We know about your little crush on Percy. We also know about Will. Unless you want everybody to find out you had better listen to every request. Come to the garden house at 8 o'clock on Saturday.
Sincerely, The B Academy
How in Hades did they find out about Percy. And what was that about Will? Do they think I like him? Well joke's on them because I don't. Nope, not at all.
I shoved the note back in my pocket and unlocked the door.
I shuffled in and took of my coat, and removed the letter, I guess putting it back in my pocket was a little redundant.
"How was your date with Will?" a voice called out from the dark.
"Shit!" I screamed, startled that Jason was actually home.
He laughed and switched on the light.
"Fuck you Jason. Were you sitting there the whole time just waiting for me?" I quickly shoved the note in the back of my jeans pocket so he wouldn't notice it. "And it wasn't a date we were just hanging out," I mumbled, walking over to the couch.
"Really?" Jason laughed, obviously not believing me, "Because 11 is a little late to just be 'hanging out.'"
"One day I'm going to kill you," I said wistfully, plopping down on the couch next to him.
"I'm just glad you're over Percy, Will is a lot better for you, and he's gay too." he wrapped his arm around me.
"You think so?" Then I came to my senses and shoved his arm off. "I. DO. NOT. LIKE. SOLACE." I groaned.
"Sure you do." He sang cheerily, " I mean you guys just went on a date."
"It wasn't a date Jason! Gods you're just as bad as my sister." I groaned. "And anyway," I added, muttering, "He doesn't know I'm gay."
Jason slowly turned his head my way.
"What?" His voice was ice cold, like he was really angry with me. "How is my favorite ship going to get together if one half doesn't even know that the other could even be interested in them at all?" He shook my shoulders, I was glad he wasn't really mad, but gods his fangirl-ness could be kind of overwhelming. "You have to tell him, he told you!" Jason hadn't let go of my shoulders.
"But he didn't," I bluntly stated, "You found out when you were Facebook stalking everyone who was going to this college and you were like 'Nico you have to date this boy he is also gay!'"
"That's not how it happened." Jason pouted.
I held his shoulders this time and looked deep into his eyes and leaned forward, so our faces were only an inch apart, and whispered, "Yes it is you bitch ass liar."
Jason fell back, laughing hysterically.
"Stop," I poked him, it had been like a minute and he still hadn't stopped.
"It wasn't even that funny," I complained.
"I just thought, you . . . For a second, and then you, and I!" Jason wheezed between bursts of laughter.
"I can't understand a thing you're saying." I gave up and headed to my room.
"Never mind." he waved his hand in the air.
"Ok," I sighed shaking my head. "Goodnight Jason."
I don't think I'll ever be able to smell flowers again without thinking of this. I walked around the garden house looking for someone, my nerves building every time I turned a corner.
The flowers were very beautiful, and aromatic. But with all the nerves in my stomach it made me want to throw up.
I walked into the jungle room and it was muggy, adding to how uncomfortable I was. The room was full of colors, mostly deep reds and shocking blues.
There, under a bright red flower with gigantic petals that would take hours to count, a envelope with my name written on it. And all this time I was looking for a person. I looked around to make sure no one was watching and ducked under the railing.
I tried to avoid the small clumps of blue flowers under foot, but there were a ton, and I was focused on the envelope.
I got to the flower and picked up the damp envelope, up close I realized some of the letters on my name were running, I hope I could read what was inside.
I quickly hurried out of the building, I was not getting caught because of this stupid envelope.
I held the envelope in my hand, I didn't want to open it, but I had to. I ripped the damp paper carefully at the opening.
Yup, there was another letter.
Hello Nico,
One of our own has broken one of our rules. She lives in the girls dorm, G8 floor 2 apartment 2q. On her door paint the word slut with the paint enclosed. We will stop the security cameras for ten minutes on this Sunday between 2:00 and 2:10. If you don't do it, you know the stakes.
Sincerely, The B Academy
P.S. Don't get caught, we can't help with that.
What! I'm not going to do that, that's terrible. I looked in the package and there was a packet of paint, weird I had never really seen packets of paint.
Wait, that's totally off topic, I can't do this to a poor girl. But if I wanted my secret to stay secret then I would have to.
I guess I had plans this Sunday.

I sipped my coffee and headed through the door.
"You're late." Piper complained as I closed the door.
"Nice to see you too Piper." I laughed.
"Why did you take so long with your class?" She moaned.
I looked at my watch, 1:00. "I'm only 15 minutes late calm down." I had Charlie duty after 12:45 on Saturdays.
"Here you go," she quickly walked toward me, handed off Charlie and walked out the door.
I walked over to the counter and set my coffee down so I didn't spill it in Charlie.
"She's going on a date with her boyfriend." Drew sneered from a mountain of newspapers. Like a dragon with gold, except newspapers.
"You seem upset about that." I said, confused, Jason was nice enough.
"You aren't bothered by it!" She seemed appalled.
"No...?" Maybe she was jealous again.
She shook her head,"Well it pisses me off that she is so blatantly cheating on Annabeth," she angrily flipped through pages in the paper.
I burst out laughing. Piper and Annabeth?
"Cheating isn't funny Hazel." Drew snapped, still upset.
"No . . ." I wheezed, " Piper and Annabeth aren't dating!"
Now she looked flat out confused. "What?"
"I don't know where you got that idea, they don't even act like they are." I was still in hysterics, it was lucky I hadn't dropped Charlie yet. Who was also laughing manically at me laughing.
"But . . . at thanksgiving . . . she said . . ." Drew mumbled a few more words that didn't make sense.
"Ohhh," I suddenly realized something, "If it was during thanksgiving Piper planned on saying stuff to make her grandma angry, I guess one of them was that she was dating Annabeth." Oh gods, this was hilarious I had to tell Annabeth about this.
"Oh," Drew looked calm now,"That makes more sense."
"What you are doing with all those newspapers?" I mean I get reading the paper, but she had like 20 in front of her.
"Oh, I'm just looking for a job since I don't really gave the money to go back to college."
I smiled, this would work perfectly.
"Well I just happen to know a place," I dug around in my backpack to get the application.
I handed it to Drew. She quickly read it over and turned to me, a shocked smile lit up her face.
"Thank you!" She brushed a few newspapers off her and stood up.
She gave me a hug, making sure not to squish Charlie.
"I really wanted to make it up to you for yelling at you when you arrived, you were going through a really hard time and gods know I didn't help anything."
Drew laughed and released me. "Well we're totally even now! Do you have a pen in there?" She indicated my purse.
I nodded, fishing one out from the bottom.
She quickly grabbed it and muttered her thanks as she brought it to the counter and started filling it out, biting her lip as she worked.
I went upstairs to change Charlie into a clean onesie. When Piper feed him she obviously hadn't cleaned up. Then we played hide n' seek. Which basically consisted of him running behind his crib.
"Come out!" I said, creeping toward the crib. But he wasn't there this time. I heard giggling coming from through the connecting door from Annabeth's room.
"Come on Charlie we don't want to be in Annabeth's room!" Last time he was in here with me he emptied her purse.
I entered her room and on her desk was a single paper, it was very unlike Annabeth to just leave something somewhere. It was her planer; all neat and organized, her classes planned out and times for homework set aside. And the time space from a little before now to 3:00 was marked in red with a circle.
But it wasn't another architecture class like she said she was at. It was empty.
But if she wasn't at class, where was she?

I ran out of paint. What were they going to do to me? I had written the s,l, and u but I didn't have enough paint for the t. I didn't even want to do this in the first place; then they don't even give me enough paint.
Luckily I was going to class after this so I had my bag on me, and I always carried markers, my favorite drawing tool after pencils. I fished out a red one and wrote the t.
I pulled out the sorry note I had written to her, explaining the situation. I doubted the 'academy' would find out. I shoved it under the door and got the hell out of the dorm.

"Your resume is pretty good." Katie said, looking over it. I twisted my skirt in my hands, a nervous habit I had picked up from Silena as kids.
"But-" Oh, the dreaded word. It was never good. But I'm not in college. But you don't even go to this school. But these aren't even real jobs on here.
"-these muffins you just whipped up are fantastic and I would have to be a fool not to give them to my boss. I only give him the good ones." She winked at me, "And so far, there has only been one other person I put in. And once I give him a muffin of yours he is pretty much sure to pick you."
This went a ton better than I expected. I probably had a real job!

"This is stupid! Just do it now." A shrill voice complained in my ear.
"We have to wait, it's not time. Yet." I said, letting no emotion show.
"Well you better have something good this time, the boss was not happy with that stupid paint job." She turned and stepped sharply out the door.
"Oh don't worry," I grinned under my hood, "Drew will never forget this."
Thank you guys for the reviews, the next chapter may not be in a while because of school and all, but we will try.
