Jack opened his eyes. He wasn't sure when he had closed them, or how long it had been since they had opened. Golden and blue light swirled around him, obscuring the outside world. Standing next to him was Master Mavis.

"Jack. It is time for Fairy Tail to return home." She said in musical tones.

"How… how long have we been gone?" Jack was hesitant to learn the answer.

"Seven years. The others have not given up the search yet. In fact, the Christina, a guild ship, is on its way." Mavis grinned at Jack. "Do you want to have some fun?" Jack's grin mirrored that of Mavis.

(Time skip of magic)

"It's not a certainty that anyone is still alive." Max muttered. He and about a third of the remaining Fairy Tail members were on the Blue Pegasus magical bomber. Ichiya had come by their guild hall a few hours earlier, revealing that there were traces of magic where Tenrou Island had been. A vote was taken, and now the mages were on their way to find what was causing the magic.

"We shouldn't get our hopes up." Warren reminded the partying Jet and Droy. Suddenly, all attention switched to the front of the ship, where a figure could be seen.

"What is that?" "A person… standing on the ocean?!"Who is that?" Said figure, Master Mavis raised her hands. The ocean began to churn as a globe was lifted out of it. The globe itself was golden and glowed like the sun. But all attention was drawn to the markings on the side. A pair of wings and the Fairy Tail mark were emblazoned in a swirling blue. Inside the globe was a sight that no one thought that they would ever see again.

"It's Tenrou Island!" A cheer went up as the island was revealed. But it was quickly diminished as the woman disappeared into thin air. Silence filled the ship as the mages began wondering what to do next. Then a laugh rang out and frost began to curl around the railings of the ship. A cool breeze wrapped itself around the Fairy Tail members, and looking around, they saw a blue orb of light flitting around the shop, leaving behind trails of frost. The orb hovered off the ship, leaving a trail of frost in its wake.

"Hey! Wait up!" The mages jumped off the ship and began sprinting after the orb. What they didn't know was what the orb was. The orb was Jack. Using a spell Master Mavis cast on him, he was able to go almost unnoticed and at the same time, have some fun. The second he was in the safety of the trees, he turned back into his human form, and continued to ride on the breeze. He let the frost taper out as he landed. The moment he did, he began to wobble.

'Seven years.' Jack remembered. Then he fell over, sound asleep. Meanwhile, the other mages had reached the end of the frost trail and were searching the forest. Jet was the first to reach a clearing, and he gasped at what he saw. Lying on the ground, bandaged, dirty and passed out was Jack. Biska, who came next ran forward and started to check Jack's vital signs.

He began to cough harshly and when he stopped, his eyes flickered open.

"Biska? What are you doing here?" he rasped. Her face morphed into one of shock.

"WE were looking for all of you!" she sobbed. Alzack walked over by her side holding a little girl. Jack smirked.

"How long?" he asked. The couple turned bright red, and began stammering. Jack laughed at their faces, before he was pulled to his feet. He then noticed all the others. Jet, Droy, Max and more were standing nearby.

"Miss us?" Jack asked, a smile on his face. Everyone laughed. They had forgotten how easily Jack could cheer anyone up. The child in Alzack's hands, Asuka, jumped down and walked up to Jack.

"Can I be your friend?" she asked shyly. Jack grinned at her.

"Of course kid!" Her face lit up, and she grabbed his hand, pulling him to the beach. Jack's eyes widened as he saw the Christina for the first time. Asuka giggled and pulled him up the ramp. When they got to the top, some people came over and greeted them. Jack couldn't help but grin. He hadn't been forgotten yet. Then he heard shouting from the edge of the ship. Looking down, he saw the rest of Fairy Tail. Jack leapt over the edge and landed in the water.

Lucy looked up and saw Jack leap from the ship. She pushed her way to the front of the group and ran up to him.

"We did it." She giggled. She then brought him into a hug that made Jack turn bright red, much to the amusement of Natsu. The mages walked on to the ship and headed home to Magnolia.

******Time Skip******

Jack stared in shock at the new guild, but narrowed his eyes when he saw some people threatening the guild members. He looked over at Natsu and they got the same crazy idea. They walked up behind the men and in sync, kicked them so that they went flying into the request board. The members erupted into chaos, flinging whatever magic it took to take out the enemy. When the dust cleared, the members who had been at the guild watched in awe as the missing mages returned.

"Yo!" "What's up with this tiny guild?" "We're home!" "It's so good to see everyone!" "Everyone!"

The ones who weren't trapped in the time skip began to cry. Natsu looked around until he caught sight of Romeo.

"Romeo! You're all grown up!" he cheered. Romeo stood frozen before a huge smile grew on his face.

"Welcome home everyone!"

I know it's a short chapter, but I kind of had little to no inspiration for this. The next chapter will be longer. I promise!
