Hello people who are reading this! I know you people are all mad at me for not updating in an eternity. I had a very bad case of writers block. I apologize for not updating and I am very sorry. But here it is! Chapter 14!
Ghost's P.O.V
I first looked at Dusk who was looking down at the floor. Then I shifted my gaze over to the group. They were all looking to me and back at Lord Death. I finally looked at Lord Death. I couldn't tell his expression just by looking at him, thanks to the mask. My heart was probably beating faster than the speed of light.
The suspense was terrifying and I was really starting to get worried. I was almost about to scream from all the silence. Suddenly I heard the door creak open, and I looked up.
A tall man with silver-like hair walked in through the door. He had a lab coat covered in stitches and there was stitches going down his face. There was also…A screw in his head? When I looked closer, it was a screw.
"Hello, Lord Death? Oh, I see you have students in here." He looked at me and got this creepy look on his face. He muttered something under his breath that sounded like, "And quite an intriguing specimen."
That made me panic. I think Dusk felt my discomfort and put a hand on my shoulder. I slowly lowered my self and hid behind her. I peeked over her shoulder and gave the man a, 'what the fuck is wrong with you?' look.
"Am I interrupting something in here?" He asked.
"No, not at all, Stein." Lord Death said in an overly cheery for that moment voice. "This is Ghost and Dusk, the 'kishens' that this group was sent to kill. It turns out their not kishens after all!" He put up his giant hands and clapped them together.
"The one behind that girl doesn't quite look human." Stein said as a glare of light crossed his glasses.
I stepped out from behind Dusk and dead-panned, "AT LEAST I DON'T HAVE A SCREW IN MY HEAD!"
He chuckled a little bit. "Oh, what I would give to dissect you…"
I yanked the closest person next to me, which happened to be Blackstar, and threw him forward. I yelled as I threw him, "HIM FIRST!" I hid behind Dusk again trying to avoid that maniac's gaze.
"As I was saying," Lord Death said looking a bit agitated. "These girls want to enroll here for classes. They are a miester and weapon pair."
Stein moved Blackstar to the side. "Interesting. I think the one with wings will draw a little to much attention from the other students."
"Oh, that won't be a problem!" Dusk said grabbing one of my horns and wings.
I felt my wings and disappear and a hoodie replace them. I also felt a beanie on my head. Dusk let go of me and smiled.
The maniac was now looking at Dusk weird and I could tell she was about to panic. I got up and leaned on her just to piss her off.
"I see." Stein said. "That will work."
I smiled and looked at Lord Death. "Where do we sign up?"
