I am really sorry it has taken me so long to upload a new chapter. I have been having the worst summer ever and haven't had the time to upload, let alone write. hopefully I will be able to post again soon, but I won't make any guarantees. Anyways, hope you all enjoy this new chapter :)
Beca's POV
I looked at Spencer in surprise. She looked at Emily who was looking around nervously. "She's coming with me and Stacie to a club tonight to check out the DJ they have there," I told Spencer quickly.
Spencer looked over at me and then back at Emily. "Is Chloe going with you guys?" She asked curiously. I shook my head. "I haven't asked her, but if she wants to then she will," I said simply. She nodded.
"Do you want to come Spence?" Emily asked her quietly. Spencer's eyes lit up and she nodded eagerly. I internally groaned. I know I shouldn't be jealous of Spencer, but I can't help it. I've seen how Chloe looks at her. No matter how much Chloe cares about me, I know she likes Spencer. And who could blame Spencer for liking her back? Chloe is amazing and I know I am not good enough for her.
Later that day I was back at my dorm and was looking for something to wear tonight. "Hey Becs, I'm back… where are you going?" Chloe asked as she walked in the door. "Stacie invited me to go with her to a club opening, Spencer and Emily are coming do you want to?" I asked her with a small smile.
Chloe hesitated and sat down on my bed. "I was planning to stay in tonight and relax," she told me quietly. I stopped looking through the closet and turned to look at her. She looked really tired and kind of pale. "Chlo… are you okay?" I asked in concern. I went over to her side and sat down.
"I'm just not feeling the greatest… but go and have fun tonight okay, you haven't done anything lately and I want you too. Stacie will keep an eye on you," she said with a smile. I leaned over and kissed her softly. She kissed me back eagerly.
"I can stay in with you tonight, we can just hang out," I suggested as I tilted her head down to look me in the eye. She smiled and leaned in to kiss me again. "Go have fun Beca, I am a big girl, I can handle being on my own for a while," she said softly. "I won't stay for too long, I want to come back and fall asleep with you," I told her honestly.
Chloe's POV
I waved as Beca left and I laid down on her bed. I turned on the TV and curled up under the blankets. Just as there was a knock at the door. I groaned and got up with the blanket still wrapped around me. I walked over and opened the door.
"Chloe, hey, please don't slam the door in my face," Aubrey said hurriedly. I rolled my eyes and looked at her. "What do you want Aubrey?" I asked her worriedly. I didn't really want to talk to her at all. "I just want to talk that is all… can I come in?" She asked hopefully. I shook my head quickly.
"I would really rather you don't come in," I said simply. She sighed but nodded her head. "I miss being your friend Chloe, before we dated we were really good friends," she said. I nodded. "I miss that, I want my friend back," she said hopefully. "Look Aubrey, I'm really tired and not feeling all that great tonight, can we talk about this later," I said.
"Will we actually even be able to talk? Or will your two guard dogs not let me talk to you," she said softly. "See this is why I have a hard time believing you want to be my friend, you can't talk about Beca and Spencer that way," I told her.
Spencer's POV
We all arrived at the club together and I noticed Emily was talking to Beca's friend Stacie quite a bit. I leaned against the bar while I watched them talk. "Emily likes her," Beca said as she walked over next to me. I looked at her in surprise. "Sure," I said.
I watched though and before I knew it Emily had taken Stacie's hand and let her lead her to the dance floor. I watched as Stacie pulled Emily close to her. "Is Stacie a good person… will she hurt Em?" I asked Beca worriedly. "Stacie is a good person, she is one of mine and Chloe's oldest friends but she isn't known for staying with one person for too long," She told me honestly.
I stepped away from the bar and started heading towards Stacie and Emily. I will not let Emily get hurt by Stacie. "Whoa, what are you doing? Emily will just be more upset if you try to stop her from being around Stacie," Beca said as she grabbed my arm.
"So I'm supposed to what… just stand around and watch while Stacie uses Em until she gets bored, I won't do that," I spat loudly. She rolled her eyes. "Go try and split them up, see what happens Spencer," she said quietly.
I clenched my fists and then stormed out of the building. I went back to the dorm and decided to go see Chloe. I headed up and knocked on the door to her room. She opened it and I couldn't help the smile that I know plastered itself across my face at the sight of her all wrapped up in a blanket.
"Don't you look all comfy," I said lightly. She smirked and let me in the room. I noticed her side of the room was all neat and looked like it hadn't been used in a long time. While Beca's side was a mess and filled with Chloe and Beca's stuff. "You and Beca may as well have gotten a single room," I teased. She smiled as she sat down on the bed. "Shut up," she said.
I sat down next to her. "Beca said you weren't feeling the best, so I decided to leave early and come see you," I said gently. "I'm fine, I practically had to shove Beca out the door though when you guys left, she wanted to stay with me," she stated. I smiled as I brushed some of her hair away from her face.
"I'll let you get some sleep, and I'll see you later okay," I said as I stood up. "Okay, see you later Spence… by the way, do you know when Beca will be back?" She asked me curiously. I laughed loudly. "Probably soon, she didn't seem all that into the club to be honest," I told her as I opened the door.
I headed to mine and Emily's dorm and froze when I saw who was waiting outside of it.
"Miss us Spence?" Hanna asked as her and Aria stood up from the floor.
