A/N oh my god I haven't updated in forever it seems! I have a perfectly good reason I swear! I've been sick for 4 weeks (still am) and so I haven't been able to focus on this and I've been working on my oneshot requests and yeah. But this chapter will be pretty big one it's a little scattered in my opinion but I don't know you might think it's not…
So I'm thinking this story has only about five more chapters at the least left. So it is coming to a close. I'm letting you know now there will be no sequel, but I'm thinking of starting another story after I'm done. No promises on when that will start but I will let you know when I decide. So here we go….
Disclaimer: I don't own Austin & Ally.
She was scared. Really, really scared. Why was she feeling this way?
She shouldn't feel this way. They've barely been dating a month. And yet she does.
Why is this so much of a shock for her? They'd been friends for years. Best friends. But this is confusing her.
All she can think is 'It's too soon. Way too soon'
But he hinted that he felt the same. Their first two weeks together he almost did say it.
Maybe she was going crazy. Yeah, she's just going crazy. She's stressed and crazy. She's still trying to get over her parents divorce that's it.
Who is she kidding? She really did feel this way.
Picking up her phone she called the only person who she could talk to about this.
"Dez?" she said when he answered the phone. "Are you with Austin?"
"No…" he said back to her.
"I need you to act like my big brother for a moment because I need to talk to you."
"Hey Mr. Dawson where's Alls?" Austin asked walking into Sonic Boom.
"She was at home when I left." he replied.
Austin nodded in response. He had already checked their house though. She wasn't there. He sighed… Where was Ally? And then he realized something.
"Who's with Gracie at the house?" he asked Lester.
"Ally was supposed to be," he answered. "But if Ally's not there…"
"Grace!" Austin yelled running out of the store back to the his truck.
Driving back home, Austin called, and called, and called Ally only to go to her voicemail every single time. As soon as he reached his house he ran over to the Dawson's front door.
Austin searched frantically for the spare key to their house. He knew exactly where it was, but it wasn't there. Then he remembered he could get into Ally's bedroom through his room, from the roof that was at her balcony and ran to his house.
"Hi mom," Austin muttered running through the living room to his room upstairs. "I can't believe Ally would leave Grace at home without anybody there."
"Austin!" his mom exclaimed.
"What?" he asked.
She simply motioned to beside her where Grace was sitting calmly watching a movie. The little girl in question looked up at Austin and smiled at him, waving.
Relief washed over Austin immediately as he ran over to the coach scooping Grace up into his arms, giving her kissing all over her face causing her to giggle uncontrollably.
"Austie stop!" she squealed pushing him away.
"When did she get here?" he asked his mother, sitting beside her Grace on his lap.
"Whenever Ally went over to Dez's house," his mom explained. "So like an hour or two ago, you were still asleep at the time and so was Gracie here, so she was in the guest room sleeping some more."
"Oh thank god…" Austin breathed. "I was about to be pissed at Ally. She didn't even tell her dad she was leaving the house today, and why didn't you tell me Ally went to Dez's house? She rarely ever goes to his house without me there…"
Mimi simply shrugged in response not exactly knowing the answer. At that moment Austin's phone beeped saying he got a text message.
From: Alls
Hey, I had to head into the store so your mom is watching Gracie. Have fun with her she's missed you being her "boyfriend" instead of mine ;)
Why was she lying about where she was? Why was she at Dez's? Or is she at the store now?
Austin sighed leaning his head back, closing his eyes. There were too many questions on his mind…
"Well I just texted Austin and told him I'm at the store…" Ally said looking at Dez.
"Why are you lying to him?" he asked.
She rubbed her hands across her face, groaning. Why was she lying to him? Oh yeah, cause she needed to talk to Dez about him.
She looked at Dez her face growing very serious. She swallowed the lump forming in her throat. It was now or never.
"I'm in love with Austin…" she said.
"Yeah?" he questioned. "Is that it?"
"What do you mean is that it? I just said I was in love with Austin!" she exclaimed.
He chuckled at her. Wow, was she oblivious. He shook his head still laughing.
"Ally you've been in love with Austin for… Well forever!" he said. "Isn't that kind of why you're dating him?"
"No, I liked Austin and that's why were dating, but now I love him." She tried to explain, but it came out confusing even to her own ears. "It's too early to tell him I love him. We haven't even been dating but what a month?"
Dez sighed, moving to sit next to her. He wrapped an arm around her shoulders pulling her to him.
"This is you and Austin though." He whispered. "And Austin said when you ran off from Cassidy he almost told you he loved you then. It's not too soon. He loves you too."
"I guess you're right…" she said a small smile forming on her face, only to turn into a huge grin and laughing fit when Dez replied with a 'Of course I'm right, I'm the Love-whisperer.'
"Hey Alls." Austin said when she opened the door, ready for their date that night. "You look beautiful like always."
"Mmm, you look very good yourself Moon." She said messing with the collar of his leather jacket. "You ready for the movies?"
She didn't give him time to reply, before she pulled him over to his truck climbing into the passenger seat. Getting into the drivers side, he looked over at her pulling her towards him.
Cupping her face in his hands, he leaned forward capturing her lips between his, gaining an immediate response from her. She sighed in contentment, parting her lips to let his tongue in her mouth, moaning slightly at the contact.
He traced over her cheek bones with his callused thumbs, from a little too much guitar playing. He groaned in the back of his throat, before nibbling at her lips lightly, and pulling away breathlessly.
"Sure you don't wanna just stay home?" he asked, giving her a light peck. "We can stay in my basement… Watch movies there… Make out…"
"That actually sound a lot better than going to the movies." She replied opening her door.
She hopped out of his truck, and started walking towards his house. He didn't leave the truck; he just sat there staring at her figure.
Feeling his gaze on her, she turned around to see him sitting there gaping at her. She quirked an eyebrow at him putting her hands on her hips.
"You coming?" she asked.
"Oh yeah…" he replied chuckling nervously. "You've never agreed to just make out before. I was a little shocked."
"Maybe it's time that changes then…" she told him, grabbing his hand and walking to his house and then down into the basement.
"Disconnect the lips, dad coming down the stairs!" Austin's dad Mike exclaimed.
Austin pulled away from Ally groaning, causing her to giggle at him. He looked at her a pout placed on his lips.
"What are you doing down here dad?" Austin asked clearly annoyed.
"Your mother told me to make sure there was no grandchildren making going on." He said nonchalantly.
Ally's eyes widen, as her face flushed. She buried her face in Austin's chest, just shaking her head completely embarrassed.
"I'm kidding Ally." Mike said when he saw her state. "She actually just wanted me to bring a case of water bottles upstairs. Which I'm going back up now, get back to whatever it was exactly you were doing…"
Austin sat still and quiet until he heard the basement door open and close, before he looked back down at Ally. Her face was still buried deep into his chest.
He curled his fingers under her chin lifting up so her gaze met his. And in that moment, with her cheeks still slightly flushed from his father's comment, her hair tangled from his fingers and her eyes wide with wonder he realized he was completely and utterly in love with this girl. More than he already knew he was.
"Ally, I l-l-," he tried to get out. Swallowing hard he finally got three little words out. "I love you."
"I love you too." She replied, smiling from ear to ear with her captivating smile. "I love you so, so much."
He leaned forward and softly captured her lips between his. This kiss wasn't like the ones they were sharing just minutes before. But one completely filled with passion, and just pure love.
Darting his tongue out, he licked her lips asking for permission almost shyly. Gladly giving him access she parted her lips allowing his tongue to circle with hers.
Their mouths moved at a pace of their own. Their hearts were beating in time with each others, like a perfect melody of a song they had just created.
Pulling back completely breathless, she rested her hand on his chest trying to catch her breath. Austin trailed kisses down her neck, and to her collarbone, where his sweatshirt she was wearing was falling off her shoulder slightly murmuring 'I love you' between kisses, bites, and licks.
Reviews are sorta cool.
