The Journey to Alabsta was very quiet so far

Mikasa looked at the hat that Miss Sunday gave her and smiled softly.

"So, you and Luffy are siblings?" Vivi asked her.

Mikasa looked at her before putting the hat on. "Yes," Mikasa answered.

"Nami told me that you are very protective over your crew cause you see, each one of them as a family. But if it's so then why didn't you attack Miss All Sunday... I mean she is our enemy and she could be very dangerous?" Vivi asked her confused.

Mikasa was quiet for a moment. "I don't know. I don't think she is evil you know." Mikasa answered slightly blushing.

"Yeah, right. You have a crush on her, shorty." Sanji said smirking slightly.

"I do not have a crush on her. Besides, I would never have a crush on our enemy." She said.

"But you don't see her as an enemy," Nami said teasingly.

"Ahh, shut up you two," Mikasa said and looked away with a small blush on her cheeks.

"Hey, there is an Island!" Luffy yelled.

"This must be the Island Miss All Sunday mentioned," Mikasa said ignoring Nami's and Sanji's looks.

"I don't wanna leave the boat. I'm waiting for our log pose to reset," Nami said.

"I want adventure," Luffy says jumping out of the ship. Mikasa rolled her eyes.

"I'll also go explore the Island. "Vivi said.

"Really?" Nami asked her.

"I want to stop thinking and stop worrying about my country ... at least for a while," Vivi said.

"Distraction is always good, come on," Mikasa said following her brother.

Later

"Do you see these animals?" Luffy asked the girls excited.

"Yeah, these are dinosaurs ... it's very rare to see such things." Vivi said.

"This must be a prehistoric island. It has stayed in the Dinosaur Era." Mikasa guessed.

She noticed Luffy on top of a brontosaurus' head. "Luffy get down here!" She yelled at him.

"No, I want to go to the rock with the strange hole I saw earlier," Luffy said.

"This idiot," Mikasa mumbled shaking her head.

"He is so reckless," Vivi said.

"Yeah, it's probably my fault. I mean I was just as reckless as he is now... Well, I am still pretty much reckless. " Mikasa said grinning.

"But you don't stand on a dinosaurs head," Vivi said.

Mikasa laughed softly. "Well, let's just say .. I probably would. If I were a few years younger and had a few scars less on my body. " Mikasa said with a sheepish grin.

"You always talk like you're the one who raised up Luffy. What about your parents?" Vivi asked her but immediately regretted it as she saw Mikasa's look.

"Our mother ... died," Mikasa started as she looked down. "And our father ... left us. So yeah I basically raised him up" Mikasa said coldly.

"How old were you?" Vivi asked her.

"Four years old. Luffy was almost 6 months old." Mikasa said.

Suddenly the dinosaur flipped its head and swallowed Luffy.

Mikasa and Vivi watched for a minute shocked.

"You gotta be kidding me? This idiot!" Mikasa said.

But the Dinosaur is immediately decapitated by a Giant and Luffy out of the Dinos throat into the Giants' hand.

"Who are you?" Mikasa asked while Vivi hid behind her.

" I am Dorry and I am the strongest Elbaf's warrior. " He said.

"That's so cool. I'm Monkey D Luffy and this is Mikasa and Vivi and we are pirates. "Luffy said excitedly.

" I invite you three to my place." The Giant said smiling.

At Dorry's place

"Where are you from?" Luffy asked him while eating.

"I am coming from a Village on Elbaf and Island on somewhere on the Grand Line," Dorry said.

"Then what are you doing here?" Mikasa asked him while mediating.

"Our Village has a rule that quarrels that cannot be resolved will be decided by the god through combat." He explained. "Me and Brogy are fighting over a disagreement for over 100 years now."

"You're fighting over a simple disagreement over 100 years? But what's the point in it?" Vivi asked.

But before Dorry could answer the volcano in the centre of the Island erupted.

"Excuse me but I have to fight against Brogy," Dorry said.

"No! Fighting over an argument is stupid. " Vivi tried to stop him.

"Don't interfere Vivi. This is a thing between men." Luffy said.

"But-" Vivi started.

" I am only fighting Brogy for pride. We both already forgot why we were fighting in the first place." Dorry said and the Giants clashed.

Through the impact, Luffy collapsed to the ground.

"This is so awesome," Luffy said.

"How can you mediate peacefully when something like this happens?" Vivi asked Mikasa confused.

"Years of practice," Mikasa said simply while continuing to meditate.

After the fight, Brogy gave Dorry a rum that he had from the Strawhats.

"Are Nami and Usopp your friends?" Dorry asked.

"Yes, why?" Mikasa asked opening one of her eyes.

"They are with Brogy." He answered.

"Good to know," Mikasa said.

"Does the Log Pose needs a year to finish recording this Island?" Vivi asked him.

"Yea, all the human skeletons around them are of sailors who died before their Log set," Dorry said. "I only have an Eternal Pose that points toward Elbaf."

"What will happen to my country if we are going to stuck here for a year?" Vivi wept.

Mikasa opened both of her eyes and looked at her.

"You can set sail and leave it to fate. "Dorry joked.

"Yeah, will do that," Luffy said while Dorry laughed.

"No, we won't, idiot," Mikasa said stern. "Don't worry Vivi. We'll find a way to get out off here." Mikasa said smiling at Vivi who returned the smile back.

Suddenly Dorry's rum exploded while he was drinking it. The explosion injured and knocked him over.

"Who did that? Broke would never do something like that. I'm sure of it." Luffy said.

" Then this means that you did that," Dorry said as he stood up.

Luffy gave Vivi his straw hat. "Hold this, please. "He said while he went to fight Dorry.

"No! Stop." Vivi yelled.

"Don't worry. Everything is going to be fine." Mikasa said as she stood next to her.

"You betrayed me!" Dorry said angry and attacked Luffy.

"No. We didn't do it. You have to stay put. Your body is damaged enough. "Vivi tried to convince him.

Dorry tried to slash Luffy with his sword, but Luffy evaded the attack. He jumped in front of Dorry's face and prepared a punch, but Dorry knocked him with his shield. Luffy used his rubber body to grab a tree from the forest and launched himself and evaded another one of Dorry's sword attacks. He then used Gomu Gomu no Rocket to launch himself towards Dorry and nearly knocked him out. Dorry stepped on him.

"Luffy!" Vivi yelled worried.

"He is fine. He's a rubber man that means it doesn't matter if you step on him." Mikasa said.

"Why are you so calm?" Vivi asked her.

"Because Dorry isn't our enemy. Believe me, if he would. I would be panicking more than you." Mikasa explained.

"You are a Devil Fruit user. I was careless" Dorry said and fell unconscious.

"I think he'll be alright. You did a great job Luffy." Mikasa said.

"No one of my crewmates or the other giant Brogy could place explosive in the barrel. I believe someone besides us and the giants is here on the Island." Luffy said angry.

Mikasa nodded "I agree." She said.

The Volcano erupted again and Dorry struggled to step up and fight.

"What are you doing? You might die from your injuries if you keep on fighting." Vivi said.

"I vow to give a fight worthy of Elbaf's honour." He said.

Dorry picked up an entire mountain.

"Oui, what are you doing?" Mikasa asked him as he put it on top of Luffy.

" I cannot avoid this fight no matter how injured I am. This is the will of my god." Dorry said.

"How can you willing to die for a god in an unfair fight?" Luffy asked him

"You don't understand the highest honour of Elbaf." Dorry and Brogy confronted each other.

"This can 't be happening," Mikasa said as she looked at Luffy as he was trapped under a mountain.

"Mikasa do something!" Vivi said.

"Do I look like I could lift a mountain or destroy it?!" Mikasa argued with her.

Suddenly Usopp ran out of the wood.

"Nami was eaten by a dinosaur!" He yelled.

"What did you just said!" Mikasa said grabbing him by his shirt.

"I didn't check due to my fear of dinosaurs," Usopp said.

"Then don't even think about telling such stories!" Mikasa growled at him as she let him go.

"Did the Baroque Works sent someone after us?" Vivi wondered.

"Probably, remember Miss All Sunday did warn us," Mikasa said blushing.

"This is not the time for your crushes," Vivi said.

"I do NOT have a crush on her!" Mikasa yelled.

"Whatever, I think this someone rigged the rum," Mikasa said calmly with a small blush.

"Is this why Dorry is injured?" Usopp asked them.

The three noded. Suddenly they saw Dorry slip and Broggy hit him.

"Did you just see that?" Vivi asked. Mikasa nodded.

"Someone helped him to fall." She said coldly.

"Who weakened Dorry?!" Luffy yelled enraged.

"Mikasa, stay with Luffy we gonna find the person who harmed Dory," Usopp said as he and Vivi walked away.

"Am I the only person in our crew who thinks?" Mikasa said shaking her head.

"If something happens to both of you. I'm gonna kick your asses." Mikasa yelled after them.

"Mikasa do something!" Luffy said.

"What can she do? I already captured two of your friends, the orange hair girl and the Bounty Hunter Roronoa Zoro." Mr. 5 said as he jumped down off a tree.

"Huh, if you captured Zoro you will soon be the one who will be in trouble and not Zoro. " Mikasa said smirking as she attacked him with a kick. "You don't learn, do you? I already kicked your ass." She smirked kicking him on top of his head.

Miss Valentine took Vivi and was about to leave.

"Not so fast." Mikasa froze her feet and was about to punch her.

But Mr.5 got up and slammed Mikasa's head with a kick against the ground." Go, I'm going to deal with her." He said.

Mikasa got up and punched him with her lightning fist.

Mr.5 tried to throw an explosion Bogger at her but she dodged.

The bogger hits the mountain instead and Luffy was free again.

Mikasa slammed her own forehead against Mr.5 knocking him down with her ice headbutt.

"Let's go save the others. "Mikasa said.

As they arrived at a Giant Candle Servies Set they saw Usopp and Vivi's duck there. Mikasa's eyes widened as she saw Zoro trying to cut off his leg.

"What the hell are you doing, you idiot Marimo?!" Mikasa yelled at him.

"I was trying to cut myself free!" He yelled back. "You have to destroy the candle." He said.

Miss Valentine attacked Mikasa. "This is for defeating Mr.5." She said.

"It's not my problem that you all are weaklings. A total waste of the devil fruit powers." Mikasa said.

Miss Valentine made herself light and then heavy again. She tried to fall on top of Mikasa but Mikasa used both hands to shot ice out of them like an ice shield.

As Miss Valentine hit the shield she froze immediately. Mikasa melted the shield and the ice around Miss Valentine and smashed her against the ground.

Mikasa looked at the Candle and saw that the wax around the bodies of Nami, Zoro and Vivi increased. She rushed towards them and was about to kick the candle but her feet were stuck.

She looked down and saw wax around her feet.

"Where do the thing you're going?" Mr.3 said smirking.

Mikasa looked at Luffy. "Destroy the candle!" She said.

"I don't feel like it." He said bored.

"What the hell are you talking about?" She yelled at him.

"I'm using a Color trap on him to change his mood." A little girl came out.

"Ahh, Good job Miss Goldenweek," Mr.3 said.

"I can influence the behaviour based on the colour I draw on them." Miss Goldenweek explained.

"No, let me take care of you," Mr.3 said.

"Your organisation is filled with a bunch of idiots. "Mikasa said while Vivi tries to help Luffy.

"A big mouth for someone who is about to become a Wax Statue!" Mr.3 smirked.

"Wax burns you, idiot!" Mikasa said as she burned the Wax around her.

She rushed towards Mr.3 but he again trapped her inside his wax.

" Are you serious?" She asked irritated.

"Mikasa, behind you," Nami yelled.

Mikasa ignited her back immediately. "Back off, little girl." She said glaring at Mis Goldenweek.

She looked between her, Mr.3 and the wax around her feet.

"You're surrounded what are you going to do now, huh?" Mr.3 said laughing.

Usopp fired suddenly at Luffy destroying his shirt and freeing him from the colour trap. But he was promptly shot by Mr.5.

"I am going to defeat you!" Luffy yelled angry.

Mikasa looked at both of her hands and ignited on hand and used lightning on the other hand. "This is going to hurt." She mumbled before shooting fire at Mr.3 and lightning strikes at Miss Goldenweek.

Mr.3 panicked as his hair got on fire while Miss Goldenweek was knocked out. Mikasa burned the wax around her feet.

She ran towards the Candle. "Let's see how fast you can burn the candle. Ther hearts are going to stop in 30 seconds." Mr.3 said laughing but Luffy punched him.

Mikasa jumped on the candle. "I'm sorry, we wasted so much time." She said as she burned the Candle.

"Mikasa, no matter what happens to me and Luffy keep on burning the Candle down!" Usopp yelled.

" I wasn't planning on stopping you know," Mikasa said and kept on burning the candle. She noticed that she reached her limit but she doesn't care. The Candle melted and Nami, Vivi and Zoro were freed from the Wax.

Nami and Vivi attacked Miss Valentine with their weapons as she was about to hit Mikasa while Zoro cut Mr.5 who was about to shoot Usopp.

"There are two more enemies to be defeated yet," Brogy said as he freed himself from the wax.

"Where are Luffy and Vivi's duck?" Mikasa asked.

"They ran after Mr.3," Usopp said.

Brogy wept over the loss of Dorry. However, Dorry then sat up. "I guess he was only knocked out by Brogy's strike," Mikasa said.

"I guess our weapons have been dulled after 100 years," Dorry said. Brogy and Dorry embraced themselves but almost got into another fight.

"Let's go. We have to continue our journey to Alabasta." Vivi said and everyone nodded.

The straw hats were back on their Ship.

"Just go straight, no matter what." The Giants told them.

"Thanks. Goodbye." Everyone said waving as they set sail. Suddenly a goldfish was in front of them. But the giant duo killed it in unison.

"I will visit Elbaf one day. I promise. "Usopp said.

"Vivi can you Navigate for a while. "Nami said.

"Yeah, why?" Vivi asked her.

Mikasa looked at her concerned.

Suddenly Nami collapsed and was about to hit the floor but Mikasa caught here

"Nami?" She asked her worried.

"Is she alright?" The boys asked.

Mikasa felt her forehead. "Damit! She has a fever." She said and brought Nami inside and laid her on a bed.

"She is sick," Vivi said. "Does anybody of you have medical knowledge?" She asked.

Everyone pointed at Nami.

"Well.. and Mikasa a guess," Luffy said.

"Mikasa?" Vivi asked her.

"Her fever has risen up to 40 degrees... But." Mikasa said as she kneeled beside Namis bed.

"But what?" Vivi asked her.

"We don't have any medicine on board. We don't have what she needs." Mikasa said as she puts her hand on Nami's forehead and tried to cool it down using a little bit of ice.

"What does sickness feels like?" Luffy asked suddenly.

"Have none of you been sick?" Vivi asked out loud.

"No." Everyone said.

"I don't get sick. My body temperature changes when I use ice or fire. So, I can withstand cold and hot weathers longer than any normal human being." Mikasa said. "We need a doctor and we need one fast." She mumbled.

Nami woke up "Vivi read the newspaper on the table." She said weakly.

"Shh, you're not supposed to talk," Mikasa said softly.

"I'm fine and I'm going to navigate the ship," Nami said.

"Definitely not!" Everyone said.

"I'm going to Navigate the ship," Zoro said.

"You can´t navigate by following a cloud. We need to get south." She said before coughing.

"Ok, Mikasa are you staying here?" Vivi asked her.

"Yes, I'm going to try to cool her fever down," Mikasa said.

"You don't have to," Nami said.

"Yes, I do and don't argue with me, Nami," Mikasa said stern before her eyes softened.

Nami smiled slightly. "Always the big sister, huh?" She asked her amusingly.

"No one else is crazy enough to watch over this crew full of little children. "Mikasa said chuckling.
