*AWKWARD LAUGH* I'M BACK BABY! I'm updating tomorrow too! A part of this is from here: . /-SU4iJO7wNvI/UN9I8wFYWAI/AAAAAAAAqYk/pxSt-fY3-DM/s1600/28-The-Art-of-Rise-of-the-Guardians-arthur-fong-rescue_jack+ Check it out. It's such a funny picture.
Jack sighed dramatically. "North, I've run into a major problem."
North looked up from the music box he was carving in the ice. "And vhat is that? Are you okay? Do you have a cold?"
"A cold? North, I'm a WINTER Spirit. I'd be kind of lame if I got a cold." Jack crossed his arms and rolled his eyes.
"Bunny told me to ask you." North said simply.
Jack raised an eyebrow but didn't argue the matter. "Anyway, I'm bored."
"Oh well." North replied. Jack looked over at North incredulously.
"Are you serious? This is Santa's Workshop! How in the world are you going to let a kid," He gestured to himself, "be bored in Santa's Workshop?"
North looked over at him, unamused. "You are over three hundred years old. I'm sure you can find something to do."
Jack marched out of the room muttering things like "Can't believe you'd let a kid be bored" and "Guardian of wonder? Where's the wonder in boredom?" under his breath.
Eventually, he decided just to go to Tooth's.
O.o.O.o.O
He stopped just outside of the palace, hidden in the mountains. He was about to fly into the palace when he heard the noise of baby teeth. A lot of them. Before he could think anything else, he was surrounded by the baby teeth on all sides, Baby Tooth leading the front. She waved at him as the other baby teeth grabbed his staff and passed it to the other baby teeth, effectively trapping him. He couldn't help but smile as they zipped off with him towards who knows where.
They flew through the mountains until they came to rest outside a little cave. There, they put him down on the ground. Jack looked around, a slight smile on his face. Who knew he had a fan club?
In the cave was a bunch of things, put up on shelves. He saw some of the baby teeth putting his staff among a book and was that a piece of his hair? His teeth box was on one of the shelves too along with a ball that looked awfully familiar…
"Hey! Have you guys been stealing my stuff?" Jack crossed his arms and stared at the fairies. Baby Tooth shrugged innocently, twittering awkwardly.
"Does Tooth know you have my stuff?" A couple of the fairies shook their heads and others blushed, caught red-handed.
Baby Tooth and five other fairies smiled and flew away quickly, leaving Jack with the other fifty some odd baby teeth. At least he wasn't bored.
"So," Jack drawled, "do you have names?"
The nodded happily. They squeaked their names out (although Jack couldn't understand a word they said).
Baby Tooth and the others (Jack should really learn their names) arrived back with a pen and a piece of paper. They handed him the pad of paper and pen.
"What do you want me to do with this?"
In answer, Baby Tooth tried to mime something, although Jack didn't understand. He thought for a minute before getting a 'brilliant' idea.
"Hey! Do you guys know American Sign Language?"
One of the baby teeth nodded and flew forward happily. She looked over at Baby Tooth. Baby Tooth repeated what she said and the fairy nodded and translated it. /A.N. Sign Language is one of the best languages in the world./ She tapped her hand on the other once before placing it flat on the other (Write down). Then she pushed her hand out in front of her, signaling the word your. Finally she tapped the first two fingers on both hands together (name).
Jack rolled his eyes. "You guys want an autograph?"
They nodded happily and Jack wrote down his name. He handed them back the paper before he got an idea.
"Hey! I could learn you guys' names!" The baby teeth nodded, excited at this new development.
The lined up, ready for their names to be learned. First was Baby Tooth. She squeaked out her name and the fairy spelled it out, Aafreen. Jack repeated it. They went on, teaching him their names. Ahladita, Nikhita, Alisha, Pakhi, Bahula, Almas, Nisha, Ragini, Chadna, Dayita, Sananda, and Ektaa were just some of the names he learned. He recognized them.
"Hey, aren't those names from Indian culture?" That would make sense actually, seeing how Tooth was from India.
They nodded and he continued to learn, not knowing Tooth was just outside the cave, listening with a small smile on her face.
