AMATI'S POV

I leaned in allowing Naruto to take a hold of my lips once again. Oh how my heart hammered with those soft, pink, petal lips that massaged mine gently. I pulled back giving a wide grin.

"I think we should go down now." I whispered. Naruto gave a light chuckle and nodded. We both got up from the bed walking down the stairs hand in hand. As we walked down we saw everyone at the table sitting down discussing. When we came out everyone stopped and turned to look at us. I looked at each one of them a blush on my cheeks. I looked up at Naruto who had a wide grin on his face.

"Don't tell me." Sasuke said with a sly smirk, Naruto nodded and squeezed my hand tightly.

"Everyone I would like you to meet my new girlfriend Amati." Naruto said happily. Cheers and a few catcalls erupted throughout the table.

"About time un!" Deidara yelled with a grin on his face. All the girls had grins on their face letting out squeals of delight, while my face went a bright red.

"OMG This is so great!" Sakura yelled as she rushed over grabbing me in a bone crushing hug.

"C-Can't b-breathe S-Sakura." I mumbled, Sakura pulled back giving a light chuckle, while a bush adorned my cheeks.

"So how did it go at the school?" Naruto asked as he looked at Sasuke. Sasuke gave a wide grin, and leaned back with his hands behind his chest.

"Don't worry we took care of the guys." He said with a smirk, although the way he smirked sent an unpleasant feeling up my body.

"W-What did you d-do?" I asked cautiously. Sasuke's smirk only widen.

"Its better not to ask." Sakura said.

"After all both Deidara and Sasuke took care of it." Konan said. I looked at Deidara who only gave me a smile and a peace sign.

"Although, the teacher's were asking questions." Itachi said. I snapped my head towards him.

"What did you say?" I asked shakily as I looked at him. He looked at me with cool black eyes.

"I told them the truth." He said. I felt my blood run cold and my face paled.

"YOU WHAT?!" I yelled as I looked at him. "What do you mean you told them the truth! YOU HAD NO RIGHT TO!"I yelled. Itachi stood up abruptly from the chair and glared at me harshly.

"WHAT ELSE WAS I SUPPOSED TO DO? JUST LIE TO THEM! WATCH AS EVERYONE ELSE ABUSED YOU WITHOUT KNOWING THE TRUTH! ALL I WAS DOING WAS PROTECTING YOU FROM HARM! YOU'VE GONE THROUGH ENOUGH! I DON'T WANT TO SEE YOU SUFFERING AGAIN!" He roared. I took a step back stunned. Itachi had always been so soft with me, he never raised his voice, never.

"Itachi I-"

"Whatever." He snapped and walked past me up to his rooms. I felt tears brim my eyes.

"Nii-san was only trying to protect you." Sasuke said softly. I looked at him, and without a second to spare I ran up the stairs towards Itachi's room. Once I reached the door I flung it open.

"Itachi I'm so sorry I-AAAHHH!" I yelled as I took in a half naked Itachi, he turned to look at me wide eyed. I slammed the door shut as I felt my whole face get red.

"I'M SO SO SORRY! I SHOULD HAVE KNOCKED! I'M SORRY PLEASE FORGIVE ME." I cried as I hid my face with my hands. I didn't hear the door open until I felt Itachi's rough hands pull my hands away from my face. I looked up at him only to see a smile on his face.

"I'm sorry I-I-I didn't meant to walk in." I mumbled.

"That's okay but is there another reason?" He asked with a smirk.

"I'm so sorry that I yelled at you. I just didn't want people to know. I-I-I know that you were only meaning well, but I'm so sorry that I got mad at you please forgive me." I said as I felt tears come down my face. Itachi grabbed a hold of my chin and raised my head so I could look at him. He wiped a tear and wrapped me in his embrace.

"The moment that I saved Deidara I made a vow to never, ever let anyone suffer like that again. That day when I saw you on the floor half dead it broke my heart, even though I didn't know you that well I felt like I failed you, but I also failed Deidara. Deidara is the most important thing to me, and it disgusts me to see people suffering that much, especially someone like you." He said as he held me tight, I let the tears fall silently as I was wrapped in his warm embrace. I never, ever had anybody care for me this much. Especially Naruto's group, I love them all to death, they were there when I needed them the most, and for that I was grateful.

"Thank you Itachi."

"Are you sure you want to go back?" Naruto asked as he looked at me as I grabbed all of my school stuff.

"Yes I'm sure, besides...I can't change what happened to me. It's in the past now and everyone here is my future...your my future." I said as I mumbled the last part softly.

"What was that?" Naruto asked with a light smile. "Did you just say I'm your future?"

"I-I-I don't know what your talking about." I mumbled as I looked away. I felt myself being wrapped in a hug, and I gave a sigh at the smell of Naruto's musky scent. I pulled back and looked at him, and just like yesterday when he leaned down towards me I felt my breath hitch. Just like last times and bolt of electricity shot through my body as his lips touched mine. He rubbed little circles on the small of my back making me shudder. His cool tongue lightly licked my lower lip, and I shyly opened my mouth. A light groan left my lips as his tongue came in my mouth, playing with mine coaxing it to come and play. The taste of Scope mouthwash and his sweet musky scent, sent my mind reeling.

"Hey are y-GAHH GET A DAMN ROOM!" A voice yelled, I quickly pulled away my face going a bright red as I looked down. A light growl left Naruto's lips as he turned to look at our intruder.

"There's something called knocking Gaara." Naruto growled, I turned to look as saw that Gaara had his eyes closed

"Yeah, well it's not my fault that your door was wide open." Gaara retorted as he opened his eyes.

"Oh, did you catch Naru-chan and Amati-chan kissing!" Deidara said as he came running into the room.

"Oh seriously are you already putting in the move Naruto?" Sasuke asked as he came walking in with a smirk on his face.

"Shut your ass up!" Naruto growled.

"Is he a good kisser Amati-chan?" Itachi asked as he looked at me.

"I'm pretty sure he is Itachi-kun, just look at Amati-chan's flustered face." Sakura said with a smile that caused blush to rise further.

"Oh screw you all!" Naruto snapped as he grabbed a hold of my hand and took me down the steps.

"They can walk to school." Naruto said as he opened the car door for me.

I waited outside the school as I watched as everyone exited the car with a sour look on their faces.

"Asshole you left without us un!" Deidara said as he looked at Naruto.

"Its your fault." Naruto said in a light tone as he wrapped an arm around my waist.

"Fine." Deidara growled.

"Amati, are you sure you want to go?" Sasuke asked as he put a hand on my shoulder. I looked up into his smoldering onyx that held so much concern and kindness. I gave a wide smile, a smile that I've never had on my face.

"Despite what people say, I know who I am now. Thanks to every single one of you, you made me stronger. What happened is in the past, and this is my future, and I have to walk my path now." I said softly. A small smile graced Sasuke's lip and he gave a nod. Naruto came over and grabbed hold of my hand and lifted it, turning our intertwined hands to kiss mine.

"Shall we go then?" He asked. I gave a nod. Hand in hand with Naruto and the rest of them by my side I walked towards the school. Before I entered the school I took a deep breath.

"Ready?" Naruto said. I gave a nod, and he gave me a kiss on the forehead. Once we entered the school, everyone stopped what they were doing and stared at us. When I looked around, my eyes widened in shock when I saw a few girls with tears in there eyes.

"A-Amati." A voice said. I turned to look only to have my eyes widen further when I saw a very pale looking Hinata. Her eyes were red and bloodshot, bags were under her eyes.

"H-Hinata?" I said. Hinata took one look at me and burst into more tears.

"I-I-I'm s-so sorry! I-I didn't m-m-mean to do an-an-any o-o-o-o-of that stuff! I'm s-s-"

"Hinata."

"I-I can't believe t-"

"Hinata."

"I'm s-such a t-ter-"

"HINATA!"I yelled. Hinata stopped and looked at me with wide eyes.

"I forgive you." It was as those simple words created the dam to break in Hinata's eyes.

"H-How c-c-c-c-could yo f-f-f-forgive a-a-all the things that I-I-I-I-I have done t-t-t-to you?" Hinata cried. I lightly let go of Naruto's hand and put a hand on Hinata's shoulder.

"The first step in beginning anew is to forgive." I whispered.

"I'm so sorry Amati, I'm so sorry!"

"I forgive you Hinata."
