An annoyed Tokubetsu Jounin could be seen in the heart of Konoha, standing by the entrance one of it's most successful food bars known as Ichiraku Ramen.

"Where the hell is he?" Anko grunted out loud, "It's been twenty minutes. He should be here by now."

She tapped her foot as many of the residents and citizens of Konoha walked past in front of her. It was a beautiful night out; the stars were shining, not a cloud in sight, the moon as full and shone luxuriously. Anko wasn't too into the romance stuff, but knew that this was a perfect date setting.

And little did Naruto know, she set this whole date up to be special. She planned to spend the whole day with him, go out to eat, and then head back to her place so they can make love for the first time, seeing as she passed Mother Nature's monthly examination.

The only thing she was missing now, was her date.

"For the sake of Kami." she sighed/groaned, growing more impatient with each passing second. "I should write a book titled 'The Perks of Dating an Idiot'."

Yugito looked on from the top of a telephone pole a few yards away as Kakashi, Ino, Chouji, and Shikamaru all gathered by the main gates, making sure that everything was prepared for their mission.

"Come on... lets go already." Yugito murmured impatiently to herself, "Before those Special Ops find out what's going on."

Due to her senses being on high alert, she was able to reverse a tackle from behind. She ducked down and grabbed the body in mid air, making them both crash down on the roof of a nearby apartment building.

She looked at her attacker and saw that it was none other than the man she had just seen ten minutes ago. "Naruto?"

"Yugito, you can't do this." Naruto told her while she still held on to his jacket, "You can and will get in serious trouble."

"Don't worry about me, Naruto. This has nothing to do with you. So back the hell off." She let go of his jacket and began to walk away, though a hand grabbing her wrist kept her from doing that once again.

"Yugito! Listen, I'm not going to let you do this! I'm giving you a chance to not get caught by ANBU and prevent you from getting into serious shit!"

"What's your problem?" She asked, "You already have a girlfriend, so I don't understand why you're so caught up with what I'm doing. I figured you would have hurried over to her to tell her that I kissed you before I could say anything."

"So that could buy you enough time to leave before I could stop you?" He asked with a leer.

"Precisely." She then swiftly gripped a kunai from it's pouch and held the edge of the blade flat against his throat, "Now release me, Naruto. I'm through playing games."

He looked dead into the core of her eyes, "You wouldn't."

He looked at him right back, "I don't want to, but I would."

Just then, her eyes shifted elsewhere behind him momentarily, then back to him. Quickly, she pulled on his shoulders and pulled him into her. This resulted in him being on top of her, resting between her legs. Naruto's eyes grew wide as this happened, seeing as the girl was a lot faster and stronger than he had thought. He had no time to prepare himself as his lips were once again locked with hers. While he was once again surprised by this unpredictable action, he reacted a lot quicker than last time and attempted to push himself off her.

But to his shock, she already pushed him off her before he had a chance to.

"Naruto, what the hell are you doing?!" Yugito shouted, leering at him while she wiped her lips with the back of her hand, "You have a girlfriend alrea-" Her gaze then moved behind him, as her eyes grew wide, "A-Anko!"

Naruto's heart sunk into the lowest part of his body as he had a hard time deciding whether or not to look behind him. In the end, he did.

There she was. Standing on the same roof they were on with crossed arms. Naruto was frozen in place. Not because of the shock of seeing her behind him at such a wrong time, but because of her eyes. Her leer dug deep into his soul, as if she could see everything inside and out of him. It wasn't the same eerie and slightly psychotic look that was able to hold him in place like this while she was being playful, it was different. Her expression was unreadable. The only part of her face that showed any kind of indication of her feelings was her eyes. It was a look that Naruto had a difficult time encrypting to figure out her current emotion. Was it anger? Spite? Disappointment? Dismissal? Judgement?

Naruto didn't know what to say or do.

All he knew was that those eyes never left him.

"Anko, I'm so glad you're here! Listen, I know we got off on a bad start, but I was being playful earlier. I'd never disrespect your relationship with Naruto."

Naruto snapped his neck to look at Yugito. Her deception skills were admirable.

"A-Anko-chan, no, I...!"

"He just threw himself at me... He's been hitting on me ever since we met, and I'm glad you see it with your own eyes. I know I may have flirted a little before, but I was just being petty when I found out he had a girlfriend. But I never thought he'd go behind your back like this..."

Naruto couldn't believe her. That she would stoop so low.

"No! You threw yourself at me! Twice!" he said to Yugito, with the mother of all glares.

"Why would I do that knowing you were already taken?" As Naruto ground his teeth, Yugito looked to Anko apologetically, "Anko, I'm so sorry. But you saw him on top of me. And you saw me kick him away. I can only imagine how much it hurts right now."

"That... bitch...!" Naruto cursed internally. "Anko-chan, that's not what happened at all!"

Anko's leer only dug into him more. A glare that sharp could easily penetrate steel.

"Listen, I gotta go, I have somewhere really important I have to be." Yugito got up and dusted herself off. She gave Anko a sympathetic look, "Again, I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to be a burden to your relationship."

With that, Yugito left.

"Yugito, wait!" He was about to chase after her before realizing who still accompanied him on the rooftop.

"Anko... please listen to me." he pleaded, "It wasn't what it looked like... she threw herself at me! She kissed me when I fell in the alleyway, and-!"

"Save it." Anko said. She then laughed sourly and shook her head, "It might be possible that I'm more stupid than you. I should have seen this coming."

Naruto's body became hot due to his nervousness. Why he was nervous, he didn't know. He didn't do anything wrong!

He took a step toward her, "Anko-chan, please..."

Anko took a step back and held three shuriken between her knuckles, "... I knew this was a mistake."

He took another step toward her, and immediately regretted it when three shuriken shot into his left leg, dropping him to his knee. Some blood splattered on the ground, and quickly began running down his leg, indicating that she had hit at least two arteries in his calf. He hissed as the pain got to him, wincing as she then palmed a kunai.

"Take another step toward me and I'll aim for your skull." Her tone didn't even sound dangerous or intimidating. It sounded dead, though it had enough menace in it to let him know she was 100% serious.

"Anko..."

"I'm done, Naruto." Naruto could almost literally feel his heart rip at those words. He could hear the pain in her voice. Never has he seen such at look of betrayal and dismissal from her.

"Anko, please listen to me, you know I would never hurt you like that..."

"You already did." She closed her eyes and tossed the kunai she had on the ground. "...Goodbye, Naruto."

Naruto could only watch as the only woman he's ever truly had a mutual love for had leapt off the building. He felt the emotional pain in his heart slowly become physical. It hurt. Anko was the only woman he had his eyes set on, and now she was gone.

He grunted as he pulled the shuriken out of his leg. He threw them off to the side of the roof and struggled a bit back to his feet.

It was then that he noticed the kunai that Anko tossed before she left. He didn't notice when she was holding it, but it wasn't a standard kunai. It was a solid black kunai with a shiny silver lining coated along blade and the sides of it. The grip that coated the handle was made of clear rubber, and the ring on the end matched the color of the silver lining.

He limped over to it and picked it up, only to see a note attached to it by a string. On it, it read;

"To my favorite annoying little Genin. I never would have thought I'd be interested in a brat like you, but as you can see, I am. I like you a lot. No one can entertain me like you can, especially when I tease you. You make me laugh, and I can honestly say I haven't felt this happy in a long time. I'm not gonna make this note all sappy and shit, so I'm just gonna end it by saying I'm glad we're dating, and we truly make a kickass couple. So take this gift as a token of my appreciation.

Your sexy and insane girlfriend, Anko.

P.S: This kunai is not cheap, Naruto. It's made of two very rare metals that allow it to easily absorb your chakra, as well as making it nearly indestructible. It won't dull, either. Figured it would work wonders with your wind chakra."

Naruto closed his eyes and gripped his new present. Tighter and tighter. Rage rapidly started clouding Naruto's mind, and his muscles began to stiffen. Then, his fists began to shake. Then, his hair started to become unruly and wild. His whisker marks began to deepen, and his canines slowly started to grow, peering out over his bottom lip.

All rational thoughts slowly began to seep out of him as a red bubbly cloak enveloped around him. Three tails grew out of the backside of this cloak, and his body began to twitch slightly, seemingly having a difficult time handling all the outrage brewing up inside him.

Naruto's slit pupils dilated once his eyes reopened. He turned his body and his red irises set out beyond the gates of Konoha.

"Yugito...!" he snarled menacingly.

Tsunade slammed her fist into her table, cracking the wooden furniture in half, "What the hell do you mean the Two-Tails Jinchuuriki left the village?!"

The cat-masked ANBU was happy their frightened expression was hidden by the mask, "The Two-Tails Jinchuuriki had somehow evaded our surveillance by casting a Genjutsu that had us believe she were sleeping in her apartment. We-"

"A Genjutsu?!" Tsunade roared, "You mean to tell me she tricked a group of my most elite shinobi with a simple Genjutsu?!"

At this point, it was difficult to keep posture in front of the woman who did not look her age, "Er, yes, Tsunade-sama. Nobody detected any issuance of a Genjutsu. It wasn't until I had coincidentally spotted her heading towards the gates that I had realized what happened."

Tsunade stood up from her chair, "You better tell me we have ANBU on her trail at this very second!"

The ANBU nodded, "Hai. When I spotted her, I simply kept an eye on her from a distance until backup arrived, considering I did not want to lose sight of her if she evaded my attempts to confront her. Just before she exited the village, seven ANBU members had tried to arrest and detain her, but her surreal agility granted to her by the Two-Tails allowed her to escape. We currently have those members on her trail as I report this to you, Hokage-sama."

"I want her back in this village, ASAP! You hear me?!" she ordered, "Before she does anything stupid!"

The cat-mask nodded, "Hai, Tsunade-sama. We're doing everything we can."

Tsunade huffed and sat back in her chair, "Whatever. You're dismissed."

Once the elite ANBU member nodded and shunshin-ed out of the office, Tsunade rubbed her temples, "Tricked them with a Genjutsu... I might just have to put Kurenai back on the ANBU force."

"But she's pregnant, Tsunade-sama..." Shizune mumbled, having been quiet this whole time.

Tsunade sighed, "Oh, that's right." She then stood up, "Why would Yugito leave like this?! Whatever the reason, I refuse to let that damned woman potentially spark a war between Konoha and Kumo. If she gets into trouble again, and she dies, we're going to be responsible for that. And the Raikage will not be pleased to hear that we couldn't detain her, especially since he's going to arrive tomorrow. I'll track her down myself, if I have to."

"Don't be so rash, Tsunade-sama." Shizune responded, "You're needed here. Going out there like that wouldn't be wise."

"But this is a Jinchuuriki we're dealing with here. If Naruto wanted to and knew how to completely control the Kyuubi, he could take on this whole village single-handedly. And the ANBU force consists of some of the strongest shinobi and kunoichi this village has to offer. So if she can elude seven of them so easily, it tells me she's a lot stronger than we had anticipated..."

"So what do you suggest we do?"

Tsunade looked in a random spot of her office, deep in thought, "I may have to send Naruto out on a mission." Tsunade saw the look on her friend's/assistant's face, "If anyone can deal with another Jinchuuriki, it'd be him. Especially after hearing what happened between him and Gaara."

"But he's currently training on his new Ninjutsu... and Kakashi already left the village with the members of Team 10. Naruto shouldn't go out there on his own, especially not with the Akatsuki still out there." Shizune pointed out.

"That much is certain." Tsunade nodded, "But Yamato is still here, and he can help restrain the Kyuubi's chakra if it gets out of hand again. And if I can find one other skilled shinobi to accompany them, I would feel better about sending them out. Who else in this village has excellent tracking skills, as well as combat skills, in this village besides Team 10 and Kakashi? I know Inoichi and Shikaku are currently on missions of their own, as well."

Shizune thought for a second, "Hm... Sai would have been a great choice, but he's no longer with us... What about Anko Mitarashi? Her tracking skills are excellent, and she's a fairly decent fighter."

"You expect me to send Naruto and Anko, who are currently in a relationship, out on a mission together?" Tsunade asked incredulously.

"Why not? You've sent Kurenai and Asuma out on missions plenty of times."

"Yes, but Naruto and Anko are a different story. They're both very... restless."

Shizune couldn't help but smile, "I'm sure they know restraint while on duty, Tsunade-sama."

"But what if...?" Tsunade closed her eyes, "Ugh, I don't have time to argue about this. Summon Naruto, Anko, and Yamato here for me please."
