Tara had seen a lot of things in her life and she, for the most part, thought she could handle any curveball that it threw at her but watching as Spike belted out a decent version of "Rebel Yell" had her sitting in a stunned silence. Faith's foul-mouthed friend had a voice that rivalled Billy Idol himself and he also had some suggestive dance moves that Tara would need another drink in order to forget them. Her night out with Faith, Spike, Angel, and Gunn had been more than enjoyable and she was glad that she had asked Faith to come hang out with her.

Faith leaned over while she took video of Spike doing an impressive kick in the air as he sang, which he didn't land because he had taken too many shots, and she laughed as he fell to his ass. Faith was still chuckling when she said, "See T, I told you it wasn't going to be bad."

Tara chuckled then took a sip of the gin and tonic that she had been drinking for the last ten minutes. "I have to say that I am impressed."

"With me or with Spike? Because if you say both then I understand," Faith said with a grin on her face. "He is going to kill me when I put this on net." She snickered and stopped the video camera that was on her phone. Faith took a swig from her beer bottle then ran her fingers through her hair before she looked a Tara with a smirk on her face. "So tomorrow you will be married to one of the most…." She saw the expectant look that was on Tara's face and smiled. "Intense women I have ever met but if she makes you happy then I'm all for it."

Tara chuckled then told her, "Willow is intense but she does make me happy." She sighed and rested her head back on the booth they were sitting in. Tara was silent for a moment then she said, "I almost told her no."

Faith held the sip of beer that she had just taken in her mouth and looked at the other woman. She wasn't certain about what she was supposed to say because she wasn't used to having heart to hearts or being the person that people told things to. Tara laughed when she saw the scared look on Faith's face. She caught her breath then said, "I'm not looking to back out or anything but I had to tell someone before I made the plunge."

Faith nodded as she finally swallowed her beer then she asked, "So you asking me to come hang out was because you wanted to clear your conscience?"

Tara smiled at her and said, "No I really wanted to hang out because sitting at home was…." She trailed off and Faith saw something in her eyes that made her want to hug the other woman but she wasn't a hugger.

Faith finished off her beer then she set the empty beer bottle down. She stood up and said, "Let's go get some air T." She looked at her bodyguard. "Angel tell Spike we'll be back and not to cause trouble because if he does then I'll have to get involved and if I get involved then I'll have a pissed off blonde on my ass."

Angel chuckled and remarked, "I never thought I would see the day where you would be whipped." Faith flicked him off and he only laughed at her before he shoved Gunn towards them.

When they were outside of the karaoke bar Faith signalled for Gunn to hang back so that she and Tara could have some space. Faith leaned back against the brick building and said, "Look, I don't do well with talking about feelings or emotions or what the hell ever but you look like you need to talk and I happen to have two good ears."

Tara smiled at Faith. She did need to talk but she didn't want to unload on Faith. She knew the woman had a hard time dealing with anything that was feeling related. "Thank you Faith but I am okay. Seriously. It's nothing."

Faith narrowed her eyes at the other woman and crossed her arms over her chest. "Tara, I am one person that you can't bullshit because I wrote the book on it. So talk."

Tara blew out a breath then she moved to where she was standing next to Faith and leaned back against the building. She took another breath then said, "I was lost. Willow and I had broken up because she was absorbed in her work and I was…." She trailed off then continued, "I had found my spine but I didn't know what to do with it. So I worked."

"You became the best," Faith said as she smiled and pulled out a pack of gum from her back pocket. She shoved a stick of it into her mouth then offered Tara a piece.

Tara shook her head and chuckled. "No thank you and yes I became the best." She let out a small laugh. "I promised people the wedding of a lifetime and gave them the wedding I thought I would never see."

"And yet here we are less than twenty-four hours from your wedding," Faith pointed out as she looked up at the starless sky.

"That's because a few weeks after our breakup Willow and I started working on us. She had realised that I was this whole other person and that I could survive without her and I was. I had started going out with some of the girls from the office, I cut my hair, and I even, please don't tell Willow this, but I went out on a blind date that ended terribly." Tara sighed. "It was the weirdest date ever but it was fun. Yet, while I was being miss independent I still missed Willow. So one night I called her and told her that I wanted to work on us and we did then she eventually proposed me. But I didn't say yes. I told her that I had to think about it." Tara pushed off the brick wall then looked at Faith. "I lost my parents in a car accident when I was twenty-one. It took some therapy and a lot of drinking but eventually I managed to work through it, but that night when she proposed, I wanted my mom so bad."

"What did you do?" Faith asked.

A sad smile came to Tara's face. "I talked to my mom." Faith got a confused look on her face and Tara explained. "I went to the cemetery that my parents are buried at and I talked to them. It was while I was there, sitting on the ground talking to my dead parents like some insane person, that I realised that they would have liked Willow. My mom would have found some way to tell me that she liked Willow while my dad would tell me to follow my heart." She grinned. "My dad wasn't a man of many words but my mom was a talker. This is why I think she would have liked Willow since she is a talker. I think the two of them would have probably talked about everything if they had gotten the opportunity." Tara exhaled through her nose then smiled. "I think that's what drew me to her. She talks a lot. Especially when she's nervous."

Faith chuckled and remarked, "Yeah she does." She bit the inside of her lip then with some hesitation she asked, "When did you almost tell her no?"

Tara leaned back against the brick wall and said, "I had gotten back from Illinois and I was geared to tell her yes but there was this doubt. This doubt that everything would go back to the way it had been. That Willow would forget about me and that I would become some doormat again. I had spent a lot of my life as a doormat and I didn't want to be one in my own marriage. Then one night I got drunk. Like so drunk I'm certain I would have put you to shame."

"I should be offended by that but I do know how to drink," Faith said as she let out a small chuckle.

Tara smiled at her. "But you don't drink when you're around Buffy. I mean you do but you don't get wasted."

Faith rolled her eyes and shrugged. "She doesn't need that in her life. I'm trying to be a better person for her because she is an amazing one and I don't ever want to ruin that."

Tara pretended to throw up and Faith gave her a playful shove. Tara grinned and said, "You're so in love it's disgusting really."

"Shut up and tell me what you did," Faith said with a smile as pushed off the brick wall and moved to stand in front of Tara.

Tara chuckled then told her, "I went on a drunken rant. I told her that I shouldn't marry her because she was so caught up in her work and never put any effort into our relationship then I told her that it wasn't fair for me to be the only one to keep our relationship going." She laughed a little. "In the end what had started out as a strong declaration of what I wanted in relationship turned into me crying about how I loved her and wanted to marry her."

Faith looked at Tara and regarded her for a moment. She wondered briefly if she and Buffy should have some sort of discussion about what they wanted from their relationship but she quickly disregarded it because she had no idea what she wanted in a relationship since she had never been in one before. Faith was brought from her thoughts when Tara continued, "Willow told me that she would continue to change and that she knew what her priorities were." She smiled. "I had answered her proposal that night but I was told to go to bed and sleep off the alcohol then give her an answer in a week."

Faith chuckled and shook her then she raised her eyebrow and said, "And let me guess at the end of the week you told her yes and the two of you screwed like rabbits to celebrate?"

A devious grin came to Tara's face as she moved away from the wall. "You wouldn't be wrong there."

Faith laughed then she walked over to the other woman and wrapped her arm over her shoulders. "I'm glad you worked it all out T. Now let's go back in and bring out your wild side so tomorrow I can tell your soon-to-be wife about all the crazy things you did tonight."

Tara glared at her and said, "And I will tell Buffy about you looking at our waitress' ass."

Faith dropped her arm and scowled at her. "Do not tell Buffy about that."

Tara laughed and remarked, "I was kidding but now I have hard facts. I think you should tell her though. Buffy, for all her Type A business, is easygoing. She knows you're human Faith." Faith rolled her eyes and Tara gave her a quick hug. "Thanks for letting me rant. I was having some jitters but I'm good now."

Faith smiled at her and said, "No problem T." She motioned her head towards the bar entrance. "Come on. I think I saw 'Bad Reputation' in the karaoke catalogue."

Tara laughed and as she followed Faith she said, "I don't think I know the words to that one."

Faith looked back at her and grinned. "Well you're going to learn tonight."

The two of them laughed and they headed back into the bar to continue celebrating Tara's last night as an unmarried woman.

Buffy was scowling at the ceiling of her apartment. Dawn was asleep on the couch and Willow was sleeping on the other love seat. The three of them had spent the night drinking margaritas and watching cheesy romance films while they gorged on junk food. That's all Dawn had planned for the evening because she didn't want to run the risk of Willow getting drunk and not making it to the wedding on time. In a few hours they would have the wedding behind them. Buffy sighed as she started to wonder which of them would be the next to get married but she moved onto something else when her mind wandered to her and Faith possibly being the next ones to get married. It was too soon for her to be thinking like that and she was pretty certain that Faith wasn't the marrying kind since this was her first relationship.

Buffy let out a frustrated breath then she got up from the couch and headed back to her room. When she was comfortable in her bed she got her phone and called Faith. The call went unanswered and Buffy hung up before the voicemail picked up. Even though it was close to four in the morning she pouted because Faith hadn't answered the phone then she laughed at herself for being ridiculous. Buffy put her phone on her nightstand then got settled under her blanket. She hoped that she would be able to go back to sleep.

Buffy was close to falling asleep when her phone began to vibrate on the nightstand. She rolled onto her back and when she picked it up she saw that Faith calling her. She swiped the answer icon to the right then put the phone up to her ear. "I thought you were asleep."

"Come let me in."
"What?"

Faith chuckled in her ear then said, "Come let me in."

Buffy was confused for a second then she moved to get out of bed. As she walked down the hall to get to the front of the apartment she told her, "If you playing some mean trick on me I'm going to punch you."

Faith laughed at her. Buffy went to the front door and when she opened it she found Faith leaning on the wall next to her apartment door. The woman smirked at her and asked, "You gonna invite me in?"

Buffy grinned at her and launched herself at her. Faith's arms wrapped around her waist and she kissed Buffy's cheek. They held each other for a moment then Faith said, "Can we go to bed now? Tara is a wild one after you get a few G&Ts in her."

Buffy pulled back and there was a slight scowl on her face. "You better have not gotten her drunk Faith."

Faith grinned then gave her a kiss. "You will find out tomorrow. Let's go to bed Blondie."

The two of them went back into the apartment then they went down the hall to Buffy's room. Buffy got in bed while Faith stripped down to her underwear. Once the other woman was in bed with her Buffy cuddled up to her and asked, "Did you see that I had tried calling you and came running over?"

Faith chuckled then sighed. "No. I was on my way over. I was crashing at Tara's and I missed you so I decided to come over because I didn't like missing you." Buffy held on tighter to Faith and smiled. They were quiet a moment then Faith asked, "Did you know that Tara has the world's greatest voice even when singing Ace of Base?"

Buffy chuckled then she kissed the underside of Faith's jaw. "Go to sleep Faith. We have a long day ahead of us tomorrow."Faith gave her a quick squeeze then the two of them fell into a peaceful and restful sleep.

Faith's morning had started off rough. Tara had called a little after five wondering where she had run off to and Faith told her that she was at Buffy's. Then she had to calm her down because Tara was a little jumpy about the fact that her wedding was in so many hours. After the call Faith had thought she would be able to go back to sleep however that wasn't the case. Ten minutes after she got off the phone with Tara, Willow came bursting into Buffy's room shouting about how she was getting married today. That hadn't put Faith in a stellar mood but she had stayed as the wedding prep got underway bright and early. Eventually Buffy told her to go home because it was obvious that she looked like a fish out of water and was tired. Faith had been grateful for the escape and she left as soon as she promised Buffy that she would be at the wedding early.

Faith was currently lying on her couch and typing up an e-mail. She had taken a short nap but she was still tired. Faith suppressed a yawn as Spike came trudging down the stairs and when he walked into the living room he said, "Hey, I thought you'd be caught up in the wedding festivities."

Faith grunted then told him, "Buffy let me go because she knows this isn't my thing."

"You're not going to be her emotional support?" Spike asked as he walked into the kitchen.

Faith chuckled a little then shouted, "I don't know anything about weddings and the preparation that goes with them."

Spike walked back into the living room eating a banana and he said around it, "Last night was a one on the scale of wild nights."

Faith chuckled. "It was but it was still a good time." A smirk came to her face. "Get used to it Spike. I think this is what in love and in a relationship me acts like."

Spike plopped down in the arm chair next to the couch. "Well I for one am proud of this and I'm happy for you." He grinned. "And the sex is killer right?"

Faith rolled her eyes as she said, "I'm not answering that. Did you get something to wear for the wedding? Because Buffy will kill you then she will kill me then she will kill us both again. Do you see what I'm getting at Spike?"

He finished his banana then tossed the peel at her as he chuckled around the bite that was in his mouth. "I do believe what you're trying to tell me is that you're whipped."

Faith tossed the peel onto the coffee table then told him, "I am not whipped. I just don't like having tiny blondes being pissed at me."

Spike got out the arm chair then he picked up his peel and waved it at her. "You are w-h-i-p-p-e-d. Admit it and the truth will set you free luv." He smacked her face with the peel and Faith got up to go kick his ass. She wasn't whipped and she was going to kick Spike's ass to prove how not whipped she was.

The open area of the small building that housed the dressing rooms that Willow and Tara were in wasn't large enough for Buffy's pacing. Everything so far was going smoothly. She had just stepped away to get a break from flurry of activity. Tara was in the small room that was at one end of the building while Willow was in the other room that was on the opposite end. Buffy had been going back and forth between the two of them but she soon realised how exhausting that was so she stuck Xander with Willow while Dawn was with Tara. Now all she now needed was a latte.

Buffy groaned and rubbed the back of her neck. There was a café right down the street and she was tempted to go herself a coffee. But they were an hour away from getting the two women down the aisle and who knew what could happen in that time. Buffy was in the middle of her second lap when the door of the building open. She stopped to see who it was. A smile came to her face when she saw who it was. Faith looked sexy and beautiful at the same time in the jumpsuit that she was wearing. Her hair was down and was a wild, curly mess. The woman took off the Prada shades that she was wearing and the grin that came her face made Buffy's heart skip a beat. She was so in love for her.

Faith walked over to Buffy and she gave her a quick kiss then said, "How are the blushing brides?" Buffy took the coffee that the woman was holding and after taking a long drink from it she let out a small moan. Faith grinned and remarked, "I thought you only made those kind of noises when were naked."

Buffy got an annoyed look on her face then she smirked. "Be careful or you won't be seeing me naked anytime soon."

Faith grinned and took back the coffee. "That's upsetting B, but then again I'm in it for more than just the nakedness." She wiped the lipstick stain that was on the coffee lid then asked, "Where's T at? She called me wanting coffee."

"That's for Tara?" Buffy asked.

Faith nodded and told her, "Yeah. She may have partied a little too hard." Buffy scowled at her and she let out a small laugh. Faith leaned in and gave her a quick kiss. "Easy now Blondie. I made sure she was home at decent hour. I didn't know that she was such a lightweight."

Buffy narrowed her eyes at her then pointed over her shoulder. "Go that way and when you reach the end of the hall take a left and it will be the first door on your right."

Faith nodded then she placed her hand on Buffy's cheek and leaned in to give her a gentle kiss. She pulled back and smiled at her. "Once I give Tara her coffee. I'll go get you one." She smirked. "You need to relax B. It's just a wedding. Everything will be fine."

Buffy groaned and rested forehead on Faith's shoulder. "You can't say that. Now something is going to happen and we're either going to have to delay the wedding or postpone it or something disastrous is going to happen."

Buffy frowned when Faith started to chuckle but it disappeared when the woman started to rub her back. "Nothing is going to prevent this wedding from happening. I will get violent if I have to."

Buffy groaned again. She knew that Faith was being funny to alleviate some of her worry but it was doing quite the opposite. "Not helping Faith."

Faith chuckled then kissed the side of Buffy's head then whispered, "Well if you have sometime I can really relax you Blondie." Buffy lifted her head and gave Faith a deadpanned look. "What? You'll be relaxed and ready to get this show on the road."

Buffy chuckled and she gave Faith a quick kiss then sighed. "Thank you for the offer and I might take you up on it after several glasses of champagne." She moved away from Faith and told her, "Go give Tara that coffee before she pulls a bridezilla on us."

Faith gave her one more kiss then walked down the hall. Buffy had a smile on her face as she watched her disappear down it. She felt better now that she had seen Faith and spent a little time with her. Xander came rushing into the main corridor and he said, "We have a problem Buff."

Buffy scowled and muttered, "Dammit Faith." She sighed then asked, "What's the matter?"

"Willow's dress isn't Willow's dress," Xander told her with a panicked look on his face.

Buffy pulled out her phone and said, "Don't worry. I think we might-" She stopped when she saw what time it was. The boutique was closed and there was no way for them to get Willow's dress. "Fuck."

"Bad word." Xander exclaimed as he pointed at her. "You just said a bad word. Oh this is bad isn't it? Like big bad, bad isn't it?" Xander asked as he started to freak out.

Buffy took a deep breath then said, using her take charge voice, "Go back and keep Willow calm." She narrowed her eyes at him. "Do not freak out." Buffy blew out a breath then said, "I have a trick up sleeve and we might have to delay the wedding but I think we can fix this within a reasonable amount of time and Tara won't find out."

Xander nodded and wiped his mouth with his hand as he said, "Okay. Okay. Great." His eyebrows furrowed. "What are you going to do?"

Buffy bit the corner of her mouth as she thought about the number of things that she could do but she didn't answer his question. "Don't worry about it. Just keep Willow calm and I'll handle the rest." Or she hoped that she would be able to handle the rest.

XxXxXx

Faith was sitting on the couch that was in the dressing room and she chuckled as Tara finished off the coffee she had gotten her. Tara glared at her. "Get that smug look off your face."

Faith grinned and told her, "I told you not to have another one but you said you could handle it. Now here you are all surly bride." She chuckled. "I kind of like it."

Dawn was getting her hair done by the hair dresser asked, "You have a problem keeping your mouth shut don't you?"

Faith laughed a little and remarked, "Well I wouldn't be in the tabloids if I kept it close."

That got Tara to crack a smile and the three of them were laughing when Buffy came into the dressing room. She smiled when she saw Tara. "You are going to look amazing in your dress."

Tara grinned. "Thank you." She glowered at Faith. "See Faith that is the type of things that you are supposed to say to a woman on her wedding day."

Faith nodded and said, "Got it. I'll remember for the next time you get married."

The other three women said her name at the same time and Faith let out a genuine laugh at their response. She was catching her breath when Buffy said, "Faith I need to talk to you for a second."

Faith chuckled at little as she said, "Sure thing B."

Buffy pointed at Dawn and said, "Make sure Tara gets her hair done. If she doesn't she'll complain about it when she gets the pictures."

Faith followed Buffy out into the corridor and when the door to the dressing room was close she said, "What's up B?" When Buffy looked at her Faith saw the anxious look that was in her eyes and she got worried. "Buffy what's the matter?"

Buffy took a deep breath then said, "Willow's dress isn't hers. It's the right colour but it isn't the right size and the Vera Wang boutique is closed for the day."

Faith let out a breath. It wasn't something serious. She chuckled then told her, "Give me twenty minutes and Red's dress'll be here." Faith smiled as Buffy's face relaxed. She moved closer to her and gave her a quick kiss. "I should have milked that out a bit longer. You looking all stressed was a little funny."

Buffy scowled at her and said, "And you're back to being an asshole."

Faith smirked and told her, "It's in my nature." She gave a kiss on the cheek then said, "All right Blondie give me a moment and I'll get you Red's dress."

Buffy smiled at her and said, "Have I told you how much I love you?"

Faith grinned. "A few times but I don't mind being reminded."

Buffy kissed her and it lasted for a moment then as she pulled back she whispered against Faith's lips, "I love you so much and I will remind everyday if I have to."

Faith pressed her lips onto Buffy's then she pulled back and said, "Okay. Let me go make good on all this talk I've been talking."

The ceremony had been wonderful and beautiful. The vows had caused Buffy to tear up and now she couldn't get rid of the smile that was on her face as she watched two of her best friends dance their first dance as a married couple. It had taken Willow and Tara a while to get her and she was happy that they were finally married. During the ceremony she couldn't stop herself from thinking about the future and wondering if she and Faith, when Faith was more comfortable with their relationship and wasn't so squeamish about it, would be standing at the altar. The smile on Buffy's face grew as she thought about a future with Faith. She never thought she would be in a relationship where she would be imagining a future with someone but here she was.

Buffy turned her head and looked at the woman who was sitting next to her. Faith had been included in the wedding party despite the fact that her outfit clashed with the colour scheme but Tara had insisted on it. Buffy liked the fact that Faith and Tara were becoming close friends. It was good for the both of them. Faith smiled at her and asked, "Want to cut a rug Blondie?"

Buffy grinned and said, "I would love to dance."

"Come on then," Faith said as she got up from the table. The two of them made their way to the dance floor. As soon as they were on it Faith pulled Buffy close to her and the two of them began to sway to the song that was playing. Even though Faith had never been to a wedding, this one hadn't been too bad. She actually had enjoyed it and seeing Willow and Tara so happy actually made her want that kind of happiness someday. That didn't mean that she was over her insecurities about being in a relationship, hell she didn't even think she was the marrying type, but being surrounded by love and happiness made her think about it.

Faith smiled as she looked into Buffy's eyes. She could become the marrying type for Buffy. It wouldn't be anytime soon, maybe a couple years down the line, but she could see herself marrying Buffy. It wouldn't be a formal ceremony like Willow and Tara's had been. They would probably go to the court house then throw a rager afterward.

"What are you thinking about?" Buffy asked as when saw the smile that was on Faith's face turn into a grin.

Faith chuckled a little then said, "Trying to figure out how we can sneak out of her so I can have my way with the maid of honour."

Buffy shook her head and asked, "Is that all you think about?"

"It's tradition. Like the bride throwing the bouquet. The maid of honour gets laid." She grinned. "And I know you're big on tradition."

Buffy's eyebrow went up. "I may be big on tradition but I know when some traditions are pretty pointless."

"So you're shutting me down?" Faith asked with a smile.

Buffy chuckled then told her, "For the moment but not later."

"Ah so there is a possibility of us keeping the tradition alive," Faith remarked with a grin on her face. Buffy rolled her eyes in exasperation. They fell silent as they continued to dance. Faith sighed. "It's not all I think about. I think about other things too you know."

Buffy thought Faith had chosen to ignore the question but she had been joking when she had asked it. "I know you do Faith. I was only messing around."

Faith nodded. "I know you were but I wanted to let you know that I do think about other things. When it comes to us, I think about other things."

Buffy didn't understand where the conversation was going so she asked, "Other things like what?"

Faith shrugged. She didn't know how to voice what she had been thinking about. She wanted to let Buffy know that she was in this with her but she also wanted her to know that she wasn't ready for something serious like marriage. "I think about us and this thing that we're doing. I like it B. I like it a lot and I don't want to do anything to mess it up."

Buffy grinned then she leaned in to give Faith a soft kiss. She kept her lips pressed to Faith's for a second longer then she moved back and said, "I like what we're doing too Faith. A lot and if you do mess it up I'll kick your ass. You know I'm not afraid to."

Faith laughed a little then she said, "I know you're not Blondie."

Their dance was cut short when the DJ announced the cutting of the cake. Faith and Buffy made their way over to the table and watched as the two newlyweds cut the cake then fed each other pieces of cake. Faith had to stifle a laugh because it seemed completely asinine to her but she saw that Buffy was eating the whole thing up and she shook her head. Her girlfriend was a romantic through and through.

After the cutting of the cake Tara and Willow then tossed the bouquet. Buffy had tried to drag Faith to go with her but the woman had stood her ground and told her that she wasn't going to fight a bunch of single women for an expensive floral arrangement. Buffy rolled her eyes when Tara pointed the bouquet at her. There was no way she was going to catch it. Dawn was next to her and so was Anya. They were both taller than her and Anya was adamant about catching the bouquet.

Faith watched from the edge of the dance floor as Buffy, her sister, Xander's girlfriend, and all the other single women at the wedding crowded the middle of the dance floor for the bouquet tossing. She thought the cake eating had been asinine but this was going above and beyond that. Spike walked over to her and he stood next to Faith as he ate a chicken wing that he had snagged from the buffet. "She's going to catch that. You know that right?"

Faith scoffed and pointed at the group of women. "She's shorter than the rest of them. There is no way she's going to catch that."

Spike snorted and countered, "Right. You keep telling yourself that. Me and the lil bit have a wager on if she does. If she doesn't I'm out a hundred bucks."

Faith shook her head and told him, "Don't make bets with Buffy's sister. She'll kill me and that's after she kills you."

Spike laughed but it was cut short when the DJ started counting down the toss. As soon as he hit one Willow and Tara tossed the bouquet over their shoulders and it became a scramble to get it. Faith was worried about Buffy getting hurt because the crowd of the women had gotten quiet vicious in their desire to catch the bouquet. In the end only one woman was victorious and she grinned at Faith. Spike clapped her shoulder and said, "Well looks like someone owes me a hundred bucks."

As he moved away from her, Faith shook her head as Buffy walked over to her. Buffy grinned at Faith then remarked, "Nice flowers don't you think?"

"Oh no B, you don't get to act all innocent. You can get that thought out of your head," Faith said with a smile.

Buffy chuckled and smelled the bouquet then asked, "One day?"

Faith bit her bottom lip then she took the bouquet from Buffy. She pulled the other woman closer to her then captured her lips for a passionate kiss. It lasted longer than was probably appropriate but all she cared about was conveying her love to Buffy. When she pulled back Faith whispered, "One day."

Buffy grinned as she heard the words then she ran her hand through Faith's hair to bring her head back down so that she could kiss her again. They had a future. Despite all the issues they faced in the beginning and Faith's insecurities, they had a future. Buffy looked into Faith's eyes her grin turned into a wide smile. She was excited to see what that future held for her and Faith.

And after working on this story for eons it has finally come to an end. I have idea floating around but they're being put on the back burner. Thank you everyone for reading and all your reviews. TTFN
