Dan woke up the next day. He groaned a little and snuggled closer to Phil. He really didn't want to get up today but, he knew had to.
He slowly went back to sleep when he felt warm lips touch his temple. He looked up to see Phil staring at him. "Morning," Phil said to him, kissing him on the lips, "did you have a good night?" Dan then nodded, kissing Phil back. "Yep, did you?" Dan asked. Phil nodded and smiled. Dan then smiled back.
They stayed like this for a little while longer, holding each other in silence till Phil finally said, "come on, we have work today." Dan groaned and rolled over, trying to go back to sleep.
Phil laughed a little at this. "Come on Dan, we seriously need to get going," he said, looking at the clock. "I don't want to," Dan said, his eyes still closed and trying hard to go back to sleep.
Phil then leaned over to Dan, till his breath was on Dan's ear. "If you get up and get ready for work," Phil whispered, "then I'll do something for you in return." Dan then opened his eyes and got out of bed. Phil laughed, watching Dan quickly getting ready. He then got out of bed himself and got ready as well.
Dan honestly hated work. Sure, it's pretty cool working at a book shop where they're a lot of cool books and magazines to read, plus getting a good discount on purchases here, and working with his boyfriend along side him but, he honestly hate it here.
The customers weren't usually the nicest, usually extremely bitchy to a point that Dan just want to slap them till they shut up and his co-workers were extremely rude and asshole-ish due to the fact that him and Phil were both gay and in a relationship with one another. It even seemed his own boss hated that fact, he's honestly surprised that he didn't get fired yet. Course, he always thought it was a bad thing if they got fired, since both of them (mainly Phil) were good workers, better then the rest of them. Plus, losing two workers in a work place that barely had any workers to begin with, didn't seem like the best of ideas.
Dan today manage the check out counter, while Phil had to put away new shipments of books and stuff. To Dan, it was a extra bonus. When he wasn't busy with customers, he could check out Phil. Just now actually, Dan was admiring Phil while he was putting up a new stack of some teen romance novel. Dan was memorized of Phil's body. If could draw, he would draw Phil in different poses. To Dan, Phil was a work of art.
Phil then turned around, noticing Dan staring at him. He smiled and chuckled when he saw Dan turn red that he was caught staring. Dan then looked down at the counter, afraid to look back up. Phil then chuckled again and then continuing on with his work.
Soon, it was time for them to go home. Dan waited outside while he watched Phil say his goodbyes to everyone. Even though everyone hated them, they were always so nice to Phil. Mostly because he was extremely kind to everyone. Dan on the other hand try to avoid talking to people as much as possible. He really wasn't a people's person and he didn't mind.
Dan then smiled when he saw Phil walking out of the store and towards him. Dan quickly walked over to him and grabbed Phil's hand and they walked like that all the way home.
When they finally got home, they quickly dropped their things and walked over the the couch, sitting down and doing nothing. Dan laid his head down on Phil's lap. They just sat like that, in silence till Phil spoke up. "You know," he said, "I didn't do anything for you when you got ready today." Dan sat up and looked at Phil. Phil smiled and said a simple 'come here'.
The next thing Dan knew, both he and Phil were sitting on the couch, with Dan on Phil's lap, both making out. There were silent moans coming from both men. When they broke apart to catch their breaths, Phil said, "is this a good reward?" Dan nodded and they continue to make out some more till they went to bed.
