Cindar took a seat up in the stadium he was excited to see his first Pixie Hollow games. Out of the tunnels emerged a group of animal fairies leading some frogs with harnesses tied to them. Cindar was sitting next to Iridessa "Hey Dess what are they doing?" Cindar asked her. "There getting ready for the first event" Dess said back. "What's that?" Cindar asked. "Two frogs have saddles on them, they saddles attach the frogs, they race them by making the frogs jump over each other, the team in last place is eliminated from the games" Dess explained. Cindar watched in aw at the race and was cheering on. As expected the animal fairies won the race no one seem surprised by that, later Cindar meet up with Fawn and congratulated her on the win. "Good job in the race" he said. Fawn hugged and then kissed him "Thanks" she said.
The next day the results showed that the animal fairies were in the lead and the dust keeper fairies were eliminated from last nights race. Cindar was sitting on the couch with Fawn in her house "What event is their today?" Cindar asked. "Alot, enough to eliminate all the teams except four teams" Fawn said lying up against him. "Guess you should get ready then" Cindar said.
The day went by fast and at the end of the day four teams were left. Water in first, Animal in second, Garden in third and Tinkers in forth. Fawn was nervous she was in the finales and she has a chance of winning. Fawn and Cindar were lying on the bed in Fawns house "I'm scared Cindar" Fawn said "Don't be you can win this I know you can" Cindar said. "Why do you think that?". "Because anyone can fail, but anyone can succeed" Cindar said. Fawn hugged Cindar "Thank you" she said.
The arena was staked everyone was cheering it was the final event of the games, the cart race. Fawn was nervous she looked over at her partner who looked just as nervous as she did, seeing her didn't give her much confidence. Since they were in second place the animal fairies will start in second. The race track is only single file and their are three chances in the race for one team to pass another, Fawn and her partner would have to do this if they wanted to win. Fawn looked ahead and saw Silvermist in her cart with her partner, she looked confident and who could blame her they were starting in first place. Fawn looked over to the stands and saw Cindar and remembered what he said anyone can succeed. Fawn took a deep breath and looked over to her partner. She gave her a thumbs up which Fawn returned with another. Queen Clarion was hovering above them "On your marks, get set...go" Clarion said. Instantly the carts took off and high speed much faster than any fairy could fly, Fawn had a determined look on her face she knew her cart won't be able to make the jump at the start or the mud hill climb at the end. "We have to take the second attempt to pass the cart will be able to bounce" Fawn said. "Ok lets do it" her partner said. The cart kept racing at high speed when she noticed that Tink and Fairy Mary had turned off. "The Tinkers are going for the jump" Fawns partner said. They kept racing and came around the corner but didn't see Tink and Marys cart "They didn't make the jump" Fawn said. "Good" the partner said. Soon they were at the second chance to pass. For the second chance the racers have to make a jump and have enough momentum to bounce from the lily pad in a pond to the other side, the bottom of the animal fairies cart had been fitted with springs so they could make the jump. The cart was heading for the jump the next second they were in the air "NOW" Fawn yelled. Her partner quickly pulled a lever that reveal the springs. The cart landed then instantly bounced again with great height and landed on the other end. "We did it" Fawn said with a smile. They turned a corner and saw they were in first place with the water fairies behind them and the garden fairies still in third. The last chance to pass was coming up and Fawn knew the garden fairies were going to take it. Just as she thought Roe and Chloe and taken the turn "We have to go faster the garden fairies cart is made for the mud hill" Fawn said. "How do we make it go faster"? her partner asked. "Like this" Fawn said. She then pulled two strings with all her might which then activated to fans one on each side of the cart. They started to go much faster than before. "This will help Fawn said. They went around a corner to see Ro and Chloe coming from the hill and only just passed them, "Yes we did it" Fawn said. The finish was coming up victory was in reach, they crossed the line and stopped in the center of the arena, the crowd were outta there seats and Fawn and her partner stood their and waved to the crowd. "Congratulations to the animal fairies Fawn and Lynx, I now present you with the Pixie hollow trophy and your victory rings" Clarion said standing in front of them. She then handed them a ring each with a a piece of topaz of a gold band, the two put the rings on their fingers and held up the trophy Fawn couldn't of been happier.
