Sasuke's P.O.V.
Sasuke couldn't keep focus in class. Sakura missed three days of school. He was completely worried.
'Stop thinking so hard. She's probably just sick.' He told himself.
'I need to pay attention and focus on getting these notes together. Sakura's going to need them.'
Time flew by and it was time for lunch. Sasuke met up with Naruto and Hinata at the lunch table.
"Hinata." He said in a stern voice.
"Y-Yes?"
"Have you heard from Sakura at all?"
"No... She doesn't have a phone so I can't contact her." She answered.
"You haven't gone by her house to check up on her?" He asked.
"No.. uh her mom-" Hinata stopped talking.
"What about her mom?" The raven haired boy asked.
"She's uh... not the nicest person to get to know." Hinata answered.
"So what? Sakura's your best friend right?"
"Yeah but-"
"Then you should of went check up on her regardless of the fact." Sasuke was getting highly annoyed.
"Sasuke chill." Naruto butted in. "Maybe Sakura's mom is psycho or something."
Sasuke let out a deep sigh. "I'll go see her after school then."
"NO!" Hinata yelled out. Her eyes grew wide as she realized how she reacted. Naruto and Sasuke both looked at her.
"Her mom isn't the best person to meet. It's best to just wait on her to come back to school. I'm sure she's just sick or something." The Hyuga said.
"Fine. I'll listen to you since you know so much."
"You sounded so sarcastic." The blonde said.
"Hn..."
Sasuke couldn't help it. He was completely worried.
The trio finished lunch together and waited for class to start. The rest of the afternoon went by and school was over with. Sasuke headed to his car and started to leave. Sasuke was ready to go home. He had to study for a test this Friday. But Saukra needs notes. Sasuke took a moment to think about what he was going to do.
Hinata did say her mom wasn't pleasant.
The raven haired boy thought for a moment.
'Screw it. She can't be that bad.'
It took him about 15 minutes to get to Sakura's house.
'I'm glad I pay attention and remember things.' He thought to himself.
He turned the ignition off to his car and got out. He walked up to the door. Sasuke heard what sounded like the television blasting.
'No way someone would heard normal knocks with it being so loud.'
"Screw it." Sasuke banged on the door with all his might.
The house went quiet.
He heard foot steps coming quickly to the door.
He heard the door unlock and it swung open. The older of the house reeked of an ammonia scent.
Sasuke's eyes grew wide. Her blue eyes were bloodshot. And she looked exactly like Sakura but way older.
"Who are you?" She demanded pulling out a cigarette. Her voice was slurred. She was messed up foreal.
"S-sorry. Wrong house." The raven haired boy said.
The woman looked at Sasuke. She looked as if she was going to pass out.
"Whatever." She said and slammed the door shut.
Sasuke stood there for a moment.
In disbelief.
Was that really Sakura's mother?
She looked just like her. The pink hair. The facial features. The only thing different was the eye color.
Sasuke got back in his car and drove off. He was ready for the day to be over with. But he had a bad feeling in his gut. Something didn't seem right at all.
It was almost as if...
Sakura was in trouble.
She had plenty of scars all over her body.
She always wore clothes that covered her up.
She stayed to herself all the time.
And the woman who seemed to be her mom looked like she was high off something.
Was it possible?
Couldn't be.
Not to her.
But it happens.
The raven thought hard and kept asking herself over and over.
Was Sakura being abused?

Sakura's P.O.V.
"Thanks for all the notes." Sakura said thanking Sasuke.
"Hn."
They were in study hall together. Sakura missed three days of school. She couldn't miss anymore. She couldn't risk getting held back. She had to get out of town right after she graduated. She already took classes to be skipped up. There was no going back now.
"So what was wrong with you again?" Sasuke asked.
"Oh... Uh... I had a little cold. You know we're getting into that fall weather now."
"You sure it was a cold?"
"Well yeah..." Sakura felt bad for lying to him. But how could she tell him that her mom was pimping her out? Sasuke didn't need to know that. He would lose his mind.
'The less he knows the better.'
"Does your mom know that I'm 18 and you're 16?" Sasuke asked.
"Umm... We don't really talk..."
"So basically she doesn't care?"
"Something like that."
'What's the hell is he asking all these questions for?'
"What about your parents? Do they know my age?" Sakura looked up at Sasuke and saw pain in his eyes. He didn't answer her. He turned his head away.
"Sasuke?"
"My parents are dead." He answered.
Sakura's emerald eyes grew wide. "I'm so sorry."
"Don't be. It's not going to bring them back."
"What happened?" The question slipped through Sakura's lips. That was suppose to be a thought.
The raven haired boy let out a sigh.
"You don't have to answer that..."
"That guy you met at my house. That was my brother Itachi. It's just me and him until I graduate from here."
'So that's who that was...' Sakura thought.
She could see in her head the look he gave her.
His red eyes were cold.
Like he just looked at Sakura like she was garbage.
"We were going on a family trip when I was 10. Itachi was 15. It was the four of us: Me, Itachi and our parents. On our way to our destination we had a blow out and the car flipped. Itachi got me out but not our parents. Soon after the car blew up."
Sakura was shocked.
His parents died right in front of him.
Sasuke stood up from the table and packed up his backpack.
"Sasuke? You okay?" The pink haired girl asked.
"I''ll see you later." he said then walked away.
Sakura just sat there looking lost. She knew his feelings were hurt but he wasn't going to let her know about it. He bottles his emotions up which isn't a good thing.
But Sakura felt bad. It felt as if she was by herself again. She felt empty.
Sakura stood up from the table packed her bag and ran after him.
'How did he disappear that fast?'
The bell ended up ringing. It was time for the next class.
'Damnit Sasuke.'
Sakura maneuvered through the crowd. She had to apologize to him. She didn't mean to bring up painful memories. It was bad enough that she was lying to him.
Sakura had to hurry and find him. They only had five minutes in between each class.
All of a sudden she spotted him. He was still walking to his class.
Sakura ran up to him. She felt tears built up in her eyes. This was the wrong time to get emotional. Around all the students. But she didn't care. She needed to apologize. She grabbed the back of his hoodie and caught his attention.
"Huh?" The raven haired boy turned around. His oxy eyes met up with her watery emerald ones.
"Saku-"
Before he could even finish Sakura shoved her lips into his. Sasuke's eyes were wide.
The kiss was bittersweet.
When Sakura pulled away from him she hugged him tightly.
"Sakura..."
"Please don't leave me."
