Chapter 14 Jason and Elizabeth
"Do you forgive me?" Elizabeth asked praying he would say yes
"Yes, but the question is do you forgive me?" Jason asked then kissed her head
"What did you do wrong? Nothing so why do I need to forgive you, Jase?" she said as she touched his face lovingly
"I left you and our boys for 2 weeks Elizabeth, I walked out on our marriage just because I was pissed off. I am sorry I wouldn't even listen to you, I'm such a moron." Jason said as he placed a kiss on her pregnant belly and held her close.
"Jason, don't beat yourself up I was the one that did something wrong." Elizabeth said as she saw a tear fall from Jason's face "Baby it is really ok, just so you forgive me I am here and NEVER leaving, I love you."
Jason gave her a long kiss on the lips and they just held each other for awhile so glad to finally be back with each other.
"Where are the boys?" Jason asked breaking the silence between the two
"Umm with Patrick" Elizabeth said wondering what Jason's reaction would be and when he just looked at her like WHY? she added "Gram is out of town and everyone else had work and I figured I didn't 'ruin' our marriage to not be there when he died so I figured Patrick could handle them for a few hours."
"Oh God Liz I think we better go get them now" Jason said starting to sit up
"I was actually hoping you'd go with me to straighten things of Luckys out, I just need to finish stuff since he has no family here." Elizabeth said and then gave Jason a kiss on the cheek.
"I can't, I'm sorry, but maybe Robin can go with you I know she was his friend too." Jason said hoping she wouldn't get mad at him
"I understand"
Before going into Patrick's Jason thought of his conversation with Robin
Flashback
Robin was sitting on the couch trying to comfort a devastated Jason.
Jason told her how he thought Patrick knew about all Elizabeth and Lucky and she wasn't happy, but she also wasn't sure if that was true or not.
"Jason, even if Patrick knew he didn't mean for it to hurt you."
"I know, but she cheated on me. I had a right to know it was happening."
"Patrick wouldn't want to over step and go behind his friends back to tell you." Robin answered as she touched his hand
"Robin did you know?" Jason asked as a tear began to fall down his face
"No, if I did I would have told you." Robin said and then added "I'm sure it's not as bad as you think it is, Elizabeth loves you and wouldn't want to hurt you."
End Flashback
"Hey Jason." Patrick said has he opened the door
"DADDY!" Yelled Cameron and Jake in unison and ran into Jason's arms almost knocking him over
"Hey guys, I missed you both so much" Jason said smiling at both of them as he gave them a kiss on the head
They both went back to playing and Jason looked up at Patrick and said "We need to talk"
Patrick walked into the kitchen and Jason followed "What's up?" Patrick asked
"Did you know about my wife and Spencer?" Jason asked trying to keep himself calm
"I knew that she was um checking on him" Patrick said hoping he worded it the right way so Jason wouldn't try to kill him
"And you didn't let me know, why?" Jason said shaking his head at Patrick
"It wasn't my place, plus she made me promise not to tell anyone."
"I forgave her, but I just don't know why you both thought it had to be kept a secret when she just wanted to be there for her friend." Jason said and walked back into the living room where the boys were playing before Patrick could get another word in that would piss him off even more.
"Time to go boys" Jason called out to them
"Can we play with our racecar track when we get home?" Cameron asked
"Yes, if you don't mind losing." Jason answered smirking
"I best daddy" Jake said
"I can't beat daddy, you can't Jake" Cameron said as he rubbed the top of Jake's head
"Thanks for watching them, Patrick" Jason said as he opened the door to leave
As they stepped into the hall, Jason was holding both of their hands and said "We are going home to mommy."
