As requested, a part two for Drunk Bellamy.
Clarke laid awake for hours, listening to the wind weaving through the trees and the others, who were on night watch, chattering outside.
'This is not over princess.' Bellamy's words haunted her. Her stomach tightened and she flinched at how uncomfortable morning would be.
She finally gave up, dressed and headed out for another day of survival.
Clarke had took over early watch of the gate, more to distract herself.
"Can you open the gate for us Clarke," Miller asked.
Clarke spun around and seen a group of people heading towards the gate. "Whoa," she lifted her hand to stop them. "Where are you all going?"
The hunting group weren't due to go out for another few hours.
"Bellamy is sending us out to search North to see if its clear from the grounders," a girl answered.
Was he insane? Out there was a world they weren't familiar with, a world they needed to take precaution with and she would be damned if she let Bellamy make an important decision like this, without consulting it with her first.
"No," she jumped down from the perch on the tree. "Miller take over watch here," he nodded. "Don't let anyone leave."
It didn't take her long to find Bellamy, he was in the dropship with Jasper.
"You were just going to send a group of our people out there," she said, waving her hand towards camp. "Without talking to me about it first."
He furrowed his eyes, "Good morning to you too, princess."
"Cut the sarcasm Bellamy. They are not going out there."
"I'm just gonna go," Jasper said, backing away.
"Relax, this will be good for us. If that area is safe then we can hunt there and maybe less of our people will be killed for doing so," he argued.
That wasn't the point, he was supposed to run it by her first. "We're partners in this, Bellamy," she wiped the small amount of sweat from her forehead. "We're supposed to be leaders together. We are supposed to make the decisions together."
"You're right. I'm sorry I wasn't thinking," he said.
She gazed at him from under her hooded eyes, "You weren't."
"Carke have you slept at all?" he asked, worriedly.
And then the memories of last night came flooding back into her mind. She needed to leave, she didn't trust herself around him. Whatever he said last night, he obviously didn't mean. It was the alcohol talking, but for her, it had awoken feelings that she never knew she had.
And that scared her.
"Not your problem. I need to go, I left Miller on watch," she walked away but stopped near the entrance to pick up some bullets for her gun.
Clarke froze and closed her eyes. Her throat closed up as she felt him come closer. It was as if her body was aware of him on some subconscious level.
"I remember," he whispered inches behind her. She could feel his breath on the back of her neck which caused her to shiver.
Clearing her throat, she opened her eyes and turned to face him, "What? That you were insanely drunk last night and woke me up?"
Without hesitation he slammed his lips against hers, and his tongue entered her mouth. Unable to control herself Clarke wrapped her arms around his neck and threaded her fingers through his curls, and pulled him closer.
He pulled back and smirked.
Clarke arched her eyebrows, "What was that?"
"Like I told you last night, when you back answer and argue with me it makes me want to shut you up," he paused. "So I shut you up and I can't say didn't enjoy every second of it."
She scoffed and shook her head, "And like I told you last night; you are a total jackass."
"You kissed me back," it wasn't a question, Clarke knew that. It was a statement.
"Well, you took me by surprise. Believe it won't be happening again."
He laughed lightly, "Do I need to shut you up again? Because that can be arranged."
"In your dreams Bellamy Blake."
"Some things are worth waiting for," he moved closer to her again. "Some things are worth experiencing," he tucked her hair behind her ear. "And some things are worth fighting for," he said against her ear.
Clarke's head fell back and she shut her eyes tightly.
"You are one of those things," he placed a small kiss behind her ear.
She inhaled deeply and when she opened her eyes- he was gone.
