Chapter 14: Kill the Unexplored
Night Raid...
After a quick ride on the Manta Ray everyone scurried immediately to their rooms to gather their belongings for the unprepared field trip that the Boss came up with on the spot. I made my way to the where my wagon was located in the shed and rummaged around the items to figure out what to bring with me. Truth be told I didn't want to leave it behind. Boss said there might not be any room for it so this would be my last goodbye...or at least that's what I thought.
"Oh my, what do we have here?" I turned around to see Chelsea standing behind me near the doorway with a lollipop stick in her mouth, glancing at the object in curiosity. "A wagon, perhaps that belonging to a merchant?"
"Well, I was a merchant in order to earn money before joining Night Raid but..." I sighed before sitting down, placing my hand on the wagon and smiled softly. "I just don't think I can bring myself to part with it just yet."
"Maybe I can be of some...assistance." Chelsea waltzed over and took a look at the multiple jars that were still well preserved. Her eyes lit up as if she just stumbled upon a cavern filled with riches. "Score! These items are so hard to come by!" She chuckled as she rummaged around, grabbing everything and anything in sight. "Marvelous! Did you know that some of these can be use as medicine? How did you manage to get these things anyways?"
"I did not know I had medical remedies on hand with me to be honest." I scratched my head in sheepishness. "I just traveled around and...you know, buy and trade."
"Well thanks anyway for letting me have them." She leaned in and planted a small kiss on my cheek as she stuffed majority of the items into her box.
"W-w-what was that for?" I asked with a small blush on my face, forcing myself to avoid wiping the kiss off my cheek with the back of my hand.
"It's a thank you kiss." She replied with a smile. "It's a sign of my gratitude."
"Oh." I replied smartly. She giggled and walked out leaving me with an empty wagon behind. I smiled softly and grabbed a dirty, torn-up blanket to cover it up.
"I'm sorry that I can't bring you with me." I whispered and walked towards the entrance, preparing to close the door and locking it up. "Hopefully this wouldn't be our last."
"Good it looks like we're all here." Najenda said as I trotted up with my belongings all stuffed in one bag. We boarded the Manta Ray and flew out 800 km south-east from the Capital to a placed known as Margue Plateau. With high-level Danger Beasts and enclosed by mountains this was an unexplored area. "And because it's unexplored, it's the perfect hiding place! Currently, in order to find us a fitting place for a new base, the Revolutionary Army's reconnaissance team is searching around the Capital. Until then, we're going to level up here."
"H...huh? It left, is that okay?" Mein asked when she noticed that our ride flew off. "We left the gathered Teigus on it."
"Since it's a valuable vehicle, we can't be monopolizing it." Najenda explained.
"It probably departed for the Revolutionary Army's headquarters, where its nest is." Chelsea smiled as she watched it go. "It also becomes an automatic delivery that way." She turned to Mein with a cheeky grin. "You don't even know that? Ahahaha!"
This chick pisses me off. Mein growled as she forced herself to keep calm and not punch her new ally.
"Ah...!" Tatsumi looked up as an idea struck him, "Couldn't we ride one of those and rush into the Capital's palace that way?"
"Impossible." Akame interjected quickly as she gave the boy a quick glance. "The airspace above the palace has Danger Beasts that have been tamed with Teigu."
"Their defenses at least are completely impassable, aren't they..." I sighed with annoyance.
"Well, I've arranged it so our ride home will come once the heat's died down in the Capital. So relax." Najenda spoke nonchalantly. "Now, once again I'll introduce the new members. First up is...huh?" She looked dumbfound as the person she wanted to welcome first was nowhere to be found.
"Akame-chan," Chelsea cooed as she started to play with the assassin's hair. "you're really cute when I take a look up close."
"...What're you doing out of nowhere?" She responded and blushed sightly at the close contact. It appeared that not many people, especially strangers, had the opportunity to drag their fingers through the silky black material.
"I'm Chelsea. Let's all be friends, as fellow killers." Chelsea held out one of her lollipops as an offering. "Here, I'll give you this."
"...I welcome you with open arms." Akame spoke quickly and started to eat the candy with happiness.
"Aah!" Tatsumi said with shock, "Akame just got fed something artificial!"
"She was hungry from the long trip!" Rabac commented as well since he noticed the girl drooling.
"But Chelsea...like," Tatsumi scratched the back of his head as he tried to formulate the words in a way that doesn't sound mean and judgeful. "She doesn't look like any more of a killer than Mein and the others..."
"Don't judge based on looks." Najenda said as she crossed her arms across her chest. "She's a person of remarkable talent who's gotten as many jobs done as Akame has." At that Tatsumi and I looked at her incredulously, our mouths wide open. "And this is my new Teigu which I received from the Revolutionary army as a loan," She nodded towards the man with horns jutting out of his head. "Speed of Lightning, Susanoo. Since he's an organism-type that moves on his own, there's little burden on the user...even the current me can use him."
"Ah!" Tatsumi walked up and extended his hand. "Nice to meet you, again." At once Susanoo's expression changed when he realized that Tatsumi's shirt was out of place, sticking out like a sore thumb from underneath his sweater. Moving just like his name stated, he fixed the boy's outfit in the blink of an eye.
"All right!" He nodded with approval at his handy work.
"He's unexpectedly a neat freak." Najenda said calmly though the rest of us just stared at him awkwardly.
"And..." Leone spoke from where she sat on a log. "More importantly, what's his ability? Is it just that he's strong in hand-to-hand combat?"
"Fufu...fu fu fu..." Najenda let out a laugh that sent shivers down our spine. "...then let me show you, prepare to be astonished..." She paused just for dramatic effect, "Do it...Susanoo!"
"Understood." He replied and set to work: chopping wood, building some structure for camp, doing laundry as well as cooking. He was even wearing an apron that said 'Usagi san'.
"Well...it's pretty amazing, but..." Rabac sweat-dropped when he realized that what he had hoped for wasn't what he had expected. "What is this?"
"It looks like he's doing household chores, but-" Tatsumi also was a bit annoyed.
"That's right!" Najenda proclaimed proudly, "Susanoo is originally a Teigu created for escorting important people! Along with his battle ability, he's fully equipped with the skill to do various household chores so he can be of use around the clock! Cleaning, Laundry, whatever it may be! The repertoire of food he can cook numbers in the thousands!"
"That has nothing to do with battle!" Mein said and the rest of us nodded with agreement.
"No no! This is incredibly useful!" Najenda responded quickly. "...well of course, he has a Trump card for battle. Right?" She looked at him for confirmation.
"Yeah." He replied and that was it. I had a feeling he was one of those people who don't talk much but when he does he gets to the point. As things are now team work was something we're lacking at the moment because Chelsea was mocking Mein's small bust and Rabac was trying to compare himself to Susanoo.
"It would seem that we have a long way to go." I commented dryly.
"Most definitely." Tatsumi agreed.
Capital...
Esdese sat alone at the table, leaning her head against her arm as she pondered about things. She was most likely thinking about Tatsumi but the more important issue is where Night Raid could end up now that their base was empty.
"We have finished searching the doctor's household." Ran spoke, getting his commander's attention. Bols stood right behind him but stayed silent as he allowed Ran to give their report. "But...we could not find any definite evidence as to where he's disappeared to."
"Several valuable experiment materials and tools were left in the laboratory." She spoke after a few minutes. "So he didn't run away...as I thought, he was killed."
"Since all of his enhanced soldiers were missing...we think he went into battle and was annihilated." Bols pipped up.
"I see." Esdese rose from her seat and excused herself from her room, leaving her two teammates behind. "Looks like Seryu's lost another savior of hers..." Outside in the garden, the orange haired girl sat with Koro right beside her. She was busy cleaning one of her weapons when Esdese approached her. "Is your maintenance all right without Stylish?"
"It's all right!" The girl replied with a forced smile, knowing that she didn't want to become a burden to her captain. "There were materials left in the lab. Additions and upgrades are impossible, but I should be able to manage maintaining them..."
"...I see." Esdese murmured when she stood right behind her, watching the girl with a cool calculating gaze.
"My parents...and my teacher...and my savior...!" Seryu gripped the gun tightly, tears dripping onto her hands as she remembered the first time she met the doctor. "All of the people important to me...are being killed by the enemies..."
"..Seryu.." Esdese watched as Seryu wrapped her arms around herself in a self-hug.
"Captain...I'm so frustrated...! Captain...I want to...I want to hurry and exterminate them!" She screamed. Esdese decided to take initiative and wrapped her arms around Seryu, comforting her in the best way possible.
"If you stay with me..." The ice general spoke softly as she cradled the crying girl against her, feeling the tears drenching her shirt. "I'll grant that wish..." Seryu nodded in agreement and continued to let her tears flow. "From now on, I'll watch over you, and have you be a direct subordinate of mine. You meet the qualifications..."
"Thank you very much," Seryu whispered with a smile as she hugged Esdese close. "this strength, this life...for justice and the Captain." Not far away Wave and Kurome watched with passive expressions, not wanting to intrude on the beautiful moment.
Back into the wilderness...
"I wonder if things are all right in the Capital..." Tatsumi spoke at the table. Thanks to Susanoo's handy ability the Night Raiders were living in a comfy log house. "We can't do anything for a while, but..."
"It seems that the existence of the Jagers is suppressing crime." Akame said. "With this, the villains won't be able to move as much as they're accustomed to."
"That's right." Najenda replied. "Let's take this chance to train. We can't assume that we'll get any more reinforcements. Think of this as the last group of people with talent in Night Raid. Let's all complete missions, live on, and welcome the day of revolution!" We all looked at each other and nodded. There are currently 9 people here; Akame, Leone, Mein, Tatsumi, Boss, Chelsea, Rabac, Susanoo and myself included.
Soon a month passed and we have trained with the wild beasts in the territory. Akame and Susanoo fished in the lake for dinner while Leone and Tatsumi battled together in the plains against dinosuar-like beasts. Rabac stayed behind with Boss as usual, electing himself as her personal bodyguard. Chelsea also remained in the house, stating that she didn't want to break her nails. Mein dragged me along to help with her sniping skills, ordering me to be her live target.
"You're gonna have to trust this genius." She said when I protested that she could kill me with one shot. "Don't worry so get your lazy ass in gear and let's train!"
"Yes!" I saluted her slowly and rushed off to help her since trusting my comrades was a must. There were a couple of times she was really close to cleaving my entire head off my shoulders. I was left quaking in my shoes when I hid behind a tree and a beam came zooming overhead, obliterating everything in its path leaving on a smoldering trunk for protection.
"IS THAT ALL YOU GOT?!" Her voice reached my ears and I peaked over the top of the trunk to look at her. She was wearing her little scope device so that would mean that I was too far out to be spotted with just the naked eye. "YOU"RE NOT OUT OF GAS RIGHT? LET"S KEEP GOING! I WANT TO TRY HITTING A MOVING TARGET!"
As much as I love her persistence...I dodged and weaved between the trees as she fired shot after shot trying to hit me, she's cut it close a few times but that doesn't make me feel any better. She's gonna KILL me!
"OKAY! THAT"S ENOUGH!" She yelled and I came back, hands on my knees as I tried to catch my breath. My clothes were all dusty and dirty from running around. "We can go back now if you wish."
"Huff... huff...let me...stay here..." I wheezed out, hoping that my heart-rate would go down. " I...still want to...practice."
"Hmm...okay." She smiled and placed Pumpkin on the ground. "I'll stay here and supervise."
"Alright! I'm ready." Sitting criss-cross I placed my hands together, left over right with the palm facing upward and closed my eyes. Everything was dark as I sat absolutely still, my ears picking up the faintest sounds. Concentrate. I told myself quietly. Think bigger, let go of all the little things. Think. Imagine. Soon everything fell away and I could see myself floating in white space. Now imagine, a small ball of fire. A small flame hissed into existence but it slightly dimmed as if blown by some unforeseen force. Concentrate, let it grow. Nurture it as if it were your own flesh and blood.
"Woah..." Mein gasped as she watched the small white flame grew in the palm of my hand. It danced slowly before condensed into a ball. My eyes slowly opened and I smiled with excitement.
"Want to touch it?" I held it out for her and she tentatively stretched her fingers, her eyes closed. When nothing happened she opened to see the flames licking her fingers but not burning it like a normal fire would.
"That's so weird," She spoke, mesmerized by the beauty. "Isn't it suppose to burn my fingers? I don't feel a thing?"
"I guess not." I laughed. "Now let me see..." I looked at the ball for a minute, "how do I get rid of it?" Suddenly an idea went off in my head and I held out my left hand into the shape of a gun, my index finger taking an aim at a nearby mountain. The ball of fire migrated to the tip of my finger and stayed there as if waiting to be released.
"Are you sure it's safe?" Mein asked.
"I think it is...let's just see what happens!" I wasn't sure myself but I tried it out anyway. "Fire!" The ball of fire flew from my fingertip and once it reached the mountain it exploded, sending massive shock-waves radiating throughout the land. I held on tight to Mein before we were blown off our feet. When it died down all that was left were smoldering bushes and charred dirt. All of the creatures fled or perished from the blast.
"Oh...my...god.." Mein found her voice after gaping at the destruction with wide eyes. "That...was so unreal." I held up my hand and the small flame appeared, flickering on my palm.
"Nice!" I waved my hand and it disappeared. "I can summon fire now!"
"Well let's go back before you blow our cover away and create wild fires." She pulled my ear to the point where I was yelping in pain.
"What was that explosion just now?" Leone asked when we came in through the front door. Apparently everyone felt the tremors and were anxious to figure out what it was.
"Look!" I held out my hand and the flame popped up. "Fire!" Susanoo quickly grabbed a nearby fire extinguisher and tried to put it out but it kept coming back so he gave up.
"Oooooooo." The others said and took turns putting their fingers on it to see if it burns. They were just as confused as Mein when they realized that it didn't burn. Boss walked in and saw that I was juggling the ball of flame between my hands and snapped at me, reminding me that we were living in a log cabin. Dejectedly I made it disappear and went to wash my hands before our meal.
"Like I said, Susanoo is amazing!" Najenda stated after we had a delicious mean thanks to Susanoo's awesome cooking skills. It's almost like she was rubbing it in our faces. "Do you all understand..."
"I'm surprised the Revolutionary army lent you such an amazing Teigu." Tatsumi stated after he made sure that Susanoo was willing to go train with him the next day. He was really excited.
"No..until now, Susanoo was sleeping, but he started moving in response to me." Najenda replied.
"Nice, Boss!" Akame and I said simultaneously.
"Fu..." She waved her hand dismissively. "Well, what is it...It must be...my charisma..." We could practically see sparkles shining off of her face as she posed dramatically.
"She's almost like Major Armstrong without the striping part." I commented to myself as I remembered a TV show I saw back in the Capital. Once of the characters within the show always stripped off his shirt and had sparkles around his face.
"Who's Major Armstrong?" Mein asked me but I told her it shouldn't concern her too much.
"Najenda looks exactly like my old master." Susanoo said.
"I see." Leone replied while the rest of us just stared at the Teigu with awe.
"I'm sure she was a wonderful person..." Najenda said happily.
"Why not tell us yourself?" Tatsumi asked.
"Yeah..." Susanoo looked down for a minute before continuing, "He was a wonderful general!"
"HE!?" Najenda barked, the cigarette in her hand looked like it was about to be snapped in two. Her face suddenly flushed with embarrassment when she heard strained laughter. Akame and Mein had blank stares on their faces while I bit my tongue to keep from laughing, my sides trembling under pressure. Rabac just gawked before proceeding to mind his own business, snickering mildly under his breath.
"Buhahahahahahaha, she looks exactly like a man he says!" Leone had no shame as she roared loudly, almost falling out of her seat with tears flowing like a river from her eyes. "As expected of our boss, who's often called a hunk!"
"S-sis!" Tatsumi gasped for air but continued to have a laughing fit. "You can't laugh that much , Ahaha!" A sudden shadow loomed over them as Boss glowered without any mercy, her hand curled into a tight fist. Her expression was dark and it would seem that the cigarette was back into her mouth. After hitting them both on the head she proceeded to scold them while Susanoo watched with confusion, unsure whether or not he was to be blamed.
"Tch," Rabac huffed with jealously. "Everyone's completely gotten so attached to Suu...he's stolen my position from me!"
"You've always held your current gag position." Mein said as she poked at her cheesecake with a fork. The door opened and a small kitten casually walked in. It meowed which caught her attention.
"It's a Margue Panther kitten. These guys aren't scared of people, huh." Rabac said as it jumped up and rubbed against Mein, purring intently.
"What is it?" She snapped as it continued to rub against her. "I'll tell you up front, I'm not going to give you any..." She took one look at the cute face and caved in. "It...it can't be helped..." She chopped off a tiny bit and that's when the little sucker attacked. Swiping the entire plate, the cat jumped off the couch and a puff of smoke surrounded it. When it disappeared Chelsea took its place, holding the plate in her hand.
"Fu fu fu." She smiled, "It's all mine meoow."
"CHELSEA!" Mein spat, angrily pointing a finger in her direction.
"Ahaha." The auburn-hair assassin chuckled as she took a bite, savoring the sweetness that tickled at her taste buds and she smiled. "Mein, you have far too many openings."
"Y...You-" The pink-haired assassin stuttered as she watched her cake being devoured one bite at a time; her anger was so great she didn't even know what to say much less a coherent come back.
"So you can even transform into a small cat." Rabac said gleefully, his mind already filled with images of what else she could change into.
"Yeah." She replied as she threw the plate away, the cake already in her stomach. "I can transform into whatever I want. Isn't it useful?" She held up a box and showed him all of the items within it. "My Teigu, Gaea Foundation. Mein," She turned her attention to the enraged shorty, "you'll have to lose more of those gaps, or else you'll end up as the next one killed in action."
"WHAT!?" She shrieked, her twin-tails standing straight up as if they were insulted. "Your Teigu would be useless once you've been found out!"
"That's true." Chelsea agreed and shrugged her shoulders. "Since it's a make-up Teigu, and not a battle type. Buuut..." She continued teasing, totally enjoying watching the various emotions that flashed in pink-haired assassin's eyes. "...that just makes it even more worth it to surprise you. Your surprised expression just now was wonderful."
"SH..." Mein's rage exploded as she screamed with all the air in her lungs, "SHE PISSES ME OFF SO MUCH!"
The next morning...
Boss called us all outside where the weather was really nice even though the sun was glaring straight into my eyes. Back at the Capital it felt humid and I had a feeling that someone was breathing down my neck most of the time, it was really nerve wrecking and I thought I was becoming really paranoid over something stupid.
"Looks like you've all become able to smoothly take out the Danger Beasts around here." Najenda praised us as she looked at us one at a time.
"I can't let my guard down cause there's so many kinds of them to attack us." Tatsumi told her with confidence.
"Whatever," Leone smile happily as she started stretching her arms. "it's more fun that way."
"The air is thin here. Fighting real battles in a harsh environment, I'd say you've probably become a lot stronger." Najenda told us.
"You know it Boss. Check it out!" I raised my left hand up and grinned. "Bang!" A small ball of fire formed and zoomed upward like a rocket before coming back down like a medium-sized meteor. Susanoo noticed the eminent danger object and whipped out his weapon, his eyes trained on the ball. When it was close enough he swung his weapon like a baseball bat, hitting the ball straight over the cliff that protected our cabin. After a few minutes we felt the tremors and I laughed with amusement. "I loved this training!"
"Just like Sonya I can feel the results in my body." Mein grinned.
"How are they, Chelsea?" The white-haired leader looked at the girl who stood silently for some time. "After watching Night Raid for a month."
"Yeah..." She grinned, nodding her head in a curt nod. "They're strong...You all are stronger than the last team I was in. But...it's not like all you need is strength to survive. I've read your old written reports, but...Sheele and Bulat. " She struck a nerve at the mention of those two, I could since a change in the atmosphere almost immediately. "These two that were killed in action...They may have been favorable as people, but as killers, I'd say they were failures."
"What!?" Tatsumi and Mein gaped at her, their expressions darken and their hands were balled into fists.
"You all have to do something about how soft you are," Chelsea said as she walked back into the cabin, ignoring the stares completely. "or else, from here on, it might not be enough no matter how many lives you have, hm?"
"She..." Mein gritted her teeth once the auburn-haired assassin disappeared back inside. "Everything she does...pisses me off..."
"As always, she's very blunt..." Najenda commented.
"Well, for now," Susanoo looked behind him to a pile of beasts that Akame caught. "let's cook the food. We won't leave any untouched."
"First off, we'll fill our stomachs." Akame agreed immediately.
"You two sure move at your own pace." Mein growled with annoyance.
"Well with Onee-san she always let her stomach guide her no matter what happens." I laughed which caused Akame to glare at me. I decided to take the rest of the day training; my new technique was off by a lot and I was determined to perfect it with deadly accuracy. When Mein came to check up on me I was laying on my back with sweat pouring down my face. Using her scope she recognized the charred dirt and burned trees a few miles away as well as a poorly drawn target which was left unscathed.
"You are such a poor shooter." She chastised me, putting her hands on her hips with mild disappointment. "How do you expect to hit your enemies like that? Worse you could end up hitting your own friends."
"...at least I don't have to say any trigger words now..." I stared at my trembling hand for a second before taking aim again but my hand wouldn't stop shaking. "I can just shoot at will." I felt Mein come up right next to me and held my hand lightly with her own.
"You're aiming a bit too high, this is where it's supposed to be." She instructed and I allowed her to guide me, moving my hand into the correct position. "Keep your shoulder squared and use your other hand to hold your shooting hand steady. If your hand isn't steady then there's no point of shooting."
"Okay." I said and did what she asked. "Like this?"
"Perfect and now, you may fire." She said. I put all my trust in her and fired at will. The white ball flew straight and true, hitting the mark and left nothing remaining. "Mission complete."
"I did it... I did it!" I pulled her into a hug and twirled around with joy. "I DID IT!"
"That's nice but please..." She tried to get out of my grip but I held on tight. "TAKE A BATH!"
Hot springs...
"Whew...today was just perfect. The weather was pleasant and I could feel my spirits being rejuvenated." I smiled as I stepped into the warm water, settling down and allowing the liquid to soak through my skin. After walking Mein back to the cabin I grabbed some items and made my way to the springs before anyone else. Letting the water wash away the sweat and other dirt I picked up from training felt like the best thing ever, the equivalence to a spa. "I guess getting out of the area from time to time was a great idea on Boss' part. We should do this more often."
"Fu fu fu." Hands came up slightly from behind and covered my eyes, leaving me blinded in the dark. "Having a nice bath?" From the voice I thought it was Boss but when I pried the hands off and turned around I saw Susanoo towering over me...stark naked. No words could describe what I was feeling as I stared at him for a good minute or so.
"EEEEKKKKK!" I finally shrieked and grabbed the nearest items that were nearby, chucking them at him without mercy. "W-W-Why are you in here?! Get out!" Susanoo dodged the flying projectiles and darted behind some rocks, allowing the steam to cover him up. I quietly crept up to the rock and looked around the corner but saw nothing. I circled the rock a couple of times but there wasn't anything. It was like he went up like smoke.
Probably vanished...good riddance. I huffed and wadded back to my usual place, settling down to calm my racing heart. Oh geez now I can't get that disturbing image out of my head.
"You look tense there..." A new voice said and I felt arms wrapped themselves around my neck and drew me in close, auburn colored hair trickling down my shoulders as well as down my face, curling up slightly to tickle my nose. "...learn to loosen up or else you get wrinkles before you get old."
"Chelsea?" I asked as she nuzzled close against me, playing with my hair with her fingers. "How did you get here?"
"Remembered when you saw Susanoo?" She pinched my cheeks playfully, sliding in right behind me into the water. "That was actually me."
"...Oh."
"It's okay, don't feel blue. If it makes you feel any better, I played the exact same trick on Tatsumi." She laughed lightly with an amused smile on her face. "You should have seen the look on his face, it was hilarious!"
"Tatsumi?" I looked at her in confusion. "What did he do?"
"He wanted to peek on me while I was in the bath but I played the same trick on him."
"...Chelsea why do you look...sad?" I asked, feeling her tense up slightly. I had a hunch something was wrong with her ever since she talked about Sheele and Bulat. Unwrapping her hands she got out and wrapped a towel around her body. I hauled myself out and wrapped another towel around my own body while wringing out the water from my hair with my hands.
"You see, I...just recently I went through the experience of coming home from a mission, only to find my entire team dead." She said softly, turning her back towards me. I think Boss told us that Chelsea was the lone survivor of one of the regional teams but I stayed quiet until she finished talking. "I just don't want these guys to end up the same way."
"You know," I walked up and hugged her from behind, catching her off guard at my sudden move. "you're pretty soft too, Chelsea."
"That's not it." She replied hotly, breaking out of my grip. Grabbing a bucket of water she dumped it all over me with a smirk. "It's just a matter of having a clean heart."
"Ha..." I grabbed another towel to dry my hair, removing the now dampened towel that was wrapped around my waist. "...don't lie to yourself." She smiled and while I was busy drying the rest of my body, she shoved me so that I lost my balance and fell back into the water before retreating back to the cabin whistling a happy tune. Gasping for air as I burst through the surface, I grumbled with irritation and hauled myself out. Gathering up the damped towels in my arms and still dripping wet I wadded all the way back to the cabin, wishing I had brought extra dry ones.
A/N: An update on Sonya's Teigu. Remember not much is known about it so if something happens I'll write about it here.
In the shape of a dog tag most people overlook the full extent of its power. As one of the forty-eight items known as 'Imperial Arms', it was said to have disappeared along with half of the items through history. Not much is known about it, even the record books have little to no information.
Ability: Order
This ability allows the user to take complete control over the other Teigu users; does not have any affect on non-Teigu users.
Trump card: Resurrection
This trump card is quite a weird one and can ONLY be used ONCE. The user will slowly lose his or her memory the longer the battle draws out; memories about the past, important events and even friends. In return, the user will be able to use any Teigu he or she wishes and have full access to their abilities.
Attacks:
Judgment Cannon- Fires a beam of energy from the user's right hand; has a 2% dodge rate. After firing, it needs to recharge and recover making the user a vulnerable target.
Heavenly Flash- Harbors the energy within a fist and with one punch, demolishes the target; 0% dodge rate. Could be used after firing a cannon however the user will knocked out for 4 days as a side-effect.
Teleport- Allows the user to pop up in places he or she desires, can also be used for a swift getaway.
Holy Flame Ball – A flame, pure white in color, that cannot be taken out by just water. It can melt ice and steel. When it makes contact with anything it will explode. It can also be thrown by hand like a grenade.
