The urge to change in the location of his twin's last moments may have seemed odd, but to Ethan it was unquestioning. Or maybe it was Aiden leading him back to relive it, believing he had been softening too much in Scott's presence to not have avenged his death already. His nose led him part the way, but his legs picked up speed the closer he came; memory leading him. Aiden's consciousness knew the way and it controlled his limbs until he found himself reliving the last few seconds of his twin's time.

Determination, pride, confusion – surprise. Ethan's vision was changing, the scene shifting for his gaze alone to another night not too long ago. The wind was stronger, air brushing his cheeks as he felt his blood pull in his head. What… His world view was askew, looking ahead into the trees and at the ground at the same time, double vision like that he experienced whenever he and Aiden had begun to meld together, head first. The scene was bordering on debilitating when a blurred man came into view; two versions of the interloper. One a dirt smudged shirtless mess with claws extended, quickly moving towards him with arms outstretched the second slower as though testing him and bearing a fresher scent. Head spinning, Ethan almost missed the fact that for there to be a man in each of his line of sight there was indeed a man present in his current surroundings and just as the wolf began to lunge, Ethan dead dropped to the side.

Peter drove past the feinting Beta, eyes wide not expecting the move. Curious, the pup had seemed preoccupied too preoccupied to defend and the ex-Alpha had suspected him to be caught up in some sort of immersion in in the death still clinging to the earth during his attack. Breathing in deep as he landed he could feel the heat, the anger, the focus and power he had experienced as he killed the first Alpha. Peter's lip curled back, staring down the Twin that was slowly cementing himself in the present, half Alpha. I'll finish that.

A great rumbling erupted from the trees around the debilitated buildings, Scott's body rising as he tilted his head up to listen, red bleeding into his brown. The sounds rose again, two pitches rolling over one another, growling and snarling -soon the trees themselves shook following a heavy pounding that stirred the leaves of their branches. The name Scott called was hard to decipher as his face began to change, further than it had ever before, nose drawing out from his face and fear crept in along with his worry. Though Ethan was not pack, not in the sense their power was now bonded, he was creeping into his group; had been making himself at home and was in trouble. Scott needed to find him, help him but the fear was running from another emotion, something angry – crazy, hungry. Body lurching to all fours the dark curls grew out over his body, covering in hair. A great bellow ripped through the sky as he opened his mouth and howled.

A wave, the sound rushed over the two quarreling wolves stopped, hesitating for a moment as the beast came for them. The weight of its fore-claws shaking the earth beneath their feet, in alarm Ethan took cover in the trees, backing away as it sprung into the spot he had just occupied to round on Peter. The elder wolf stared in fascination, taking in the form he use to occupy; the loose wolf's Form a sign of Scott's broken mental state and he chuckled, clucking his tongue as they began to dance. The thing that was Scott circling his prey, "Look who has let himself go, my little Scotty."

Back high, the beast growled as it circled the man, aggression palpable as it rolled off him in waves directed at the reserved Were. Peter shifted carefully, every nerve reaching out as he attempted to read Scott beneath his Alpha exterior and coming up short. The teen was gone, buried beneath layers of … Peter drew himself up, attempting to make himself bigger finding his prodigy missing in the mind of the animal he was retreating from. The former pack master stopped from edging around the mutt to hold his ground, bluffing as his eyes scanned the forest for the Beta he had been about to attack moments before. A distraction would be most beneficial.

It would seem his luck, and time had run out; the beast that was not Scott lunged forward, jaws open.

A great thundering roar rang out over Beacon Hills, calling all wolves to attention - Derek's head whipping up at the sound. The Betas encircling him at their posts differed in their response; Boyd's shoulders drawing up as the vibrations coursed through his body, a clear defiance in every spasm that prodded his veins to the surface of his skin. Even the wild blonde calmed briefly, the shock pulling her from the moon's psychic pull. The freedom did not last long, the She-wolf's uncontrolled nature finding new purpose in the call and so she answered. Hands splaying wide the young wolf howled back in response, not to a pack member or a friend but to a male Alpha of immense power when her own had long past turned her down as a potential mate.

The signaling of their location was too much for her current leader, Derek spinning on her and roaring in her face, fangs in full view of her eyes as he forced her to come back. His call engaging her humanity; the ridges of her brow receding, pours sucking in the long tresses of excess hair spilling over Erica's shoulders as she whimpered. Soon enough sanity returned, horror filling the hazel of her eyes as another call, a shorter echo, was emitted.

Studying his prodigy, the ferocity in the red eyes glaring ahead of her lowered in disgust. The Hale leader knew his youth did not have the control his other Beta's did, but betrayal from a pack member stung him deep, he turned his back on her and she lowered her head mutely. Neck cracking at the oncoming challenge Derek focused on his few possibilities.

Someone was encroaching on his territory. Someone strong, powerful, and… new to sound so lost. In close proximity a door banged open and he looked unseeing towards his best pup crouching on the back porch, the sound of scuffling on wood indicating Isaac coming from the house. Sure enough the teen turned up at his side a moment later, hair ruffling in the breeze that stirred up the leaves at his feet, "What was that?"

A crease fell between his brows at the question already bouncing around in his brain, being chased by the mimicry, "Scott." It was simple, the idea already planted in his head to call McCall but he had forgotten; Kenzi had become priority the second Deucalion's jaws had crushed down on her tiny frame, shaking her like the doll she resembled. Finding out what had happened once they had gotten out? Derek scowled, lids pressing together forcibly, chastising,

"He must have.." The words came out broken, chewed over, "taken care of Deucalion." The idea was tough, gamey. The thought heard to put together with Scott, the teen always stepping in and stopping him from doing things his way, always trying to soften the blow when facing others. Always looking out for the other guy. Saying he killed another person was too difficult to put together.

Looking off for a moment Isaac nearly stumbled, the concept no easier for him to accept, merely nodding. Instead he changed topic, swallowing as he nodded back to the Hale household, "She's up." The Alpha's attention was diverted only long enough to convey concern, curiosity, "Dyson's with her."

Hard steps broke the twigs and crinkled debri, bare feet rushing driving their owner to them; Derek turning before his Beta's were aware of the noise, claws extending. The figure that barreled through was too brawny to be Scott, to muscular and to tall. Ethan rolled to a stop, kneeling before Derek and Isaac, bent low as he panted through his fangs, "I saw-"

Claws prodded but did not break the skin as the man lifted the teen up with, forcing him to his feet, "Scott, yes, we know." A hard stare with burgundy pupils, "Tell us everything." The rumbling approach of the fore mentioned wolf had him flexing his other fist, "Fast."

Arms wrapped around Kenzi's waist, Dyson held the struggling sprite in place as she broke out in a sweat, eyes blazing anew, "Please, please let me go."

Begging had never been Kenzi's forte'; she was too strong for that, too sure things would turn out fine. Always resourceful, strong – his quick witted, sharp tongued minx. Even sensing her stress at being detained the Shifter refused to let her go, "Kenzi," he berated, pressing his nose into her hair, "Focus."

The new Fae swung her legs, kicking at his shins with the bare feet they had not taken time to dress, "I need to get out there!" Though her teeth remained flat omnivorous tools, there was an extra glow to her skin, a fluorescent shimmering dust as she rocked in his grasp. The call the others had heard outside, that had sent Isaac running from the room and down the stairs had pulled the hunger she had felt before to the forefront of her thoughts raging through her body like fire. She had to get out, get to him – it, whatever it was, and feed however it was she was supposed to do that.

Pressing her arms tight against her abdomen, Dyson exhaled loudly in her ear with his jaw clenched together trying to reason with her, "You've said you hate the Dark for what they do – feeding on others without thought Kenz. Think about why you want to go out there." He could feel the slip pause to consider, or the warrior thought that was what she was doing until he had begun to loosen his hold and her arm shot out and caught in him in the face as she darted away. By the time he had made it from the room the last bit of her long black hair was disappearing around the hall's end.

Blood ran wet down the man's pale body, gashes on his back and up his torso, lying face down on the ground breathing deep puffs of dirt off the earth's floor. Soft pad-falls, someone was approaching on quiet feet and Peter's fingers curled into his palms attempting to brace himself for an attack when the person picked up speed, his own quickening heartbeat filling his ears. A feminine voice, light – shocked, "Pete." Soft hands on tender flesh, he groaned.

Cora stared down at the man at her feet, kneeling to leech a little of her Uncle's pain from his body as she found him. Keeping an eye on their plotting family member was not easy, the wolf evading her without being aware she was even keeping tabs on him; honestly if she had not been pulled by the roar she may not have made it in time. "You owe me."

Exhaling, Peter's eyes rolled into his head letting himself go completely limp. There were too few of the original pack left for him to consider her letting him die without provocation. Not that she knows of…

Looking around again but sensing the Alpha that had been the source of the earlier call moving further and further away, Cora slid her arm beneath Peter's body only to stop when she heard a sickly sliding plop. Bending low, the teen spied beneath him, mouth opening at the sight of his stringy chest and Cora placed him back down very gently to keep from dislodging any of his organs from what looked like a tentative placement. "I need to get Deaton," running her fingers over the strands of his hair mussed from the fight she looked around again, unwilling to leave him vulnerable but unable to wait for his healing to kick in for such an extreme case, "Don't go anywhere."

The teen did not bother with covering him or trying to hide his scent, there was too much blood to throw a predator off and anyone looking would hear his heart. Sprinting off in the direction of the vets Cora hoped Peter would not awaken an attempt off on his own.

The world was abound in new smells; the trees not only made up of their easily recognizable pine or maple but of their age, of every touch (the barest brush or firmest placement of hand) that had met their bark and of a few an odd … sickness. It was amazing! But the vixen was focused, all her focus driven on moving forward, toward the sound everyone else was muttering about behind her at the house. Behind her from the Hale house where she had already abandoned her friends to the dust she had kicked up at an inhuman pace. Fae - so much better than human now as she was able to tell how far she had to go to get to that creature's origin and was able to tell how close it was now as it was moving to meet her. The preoccupation was second though, mostly she was hungry and although the running blur did not actually know what she was supposed to do to satiate that hunger, the canine knew that getting to the other would somehow take care of it.

Sharp grating, pebbles rolled under and then were released from sharp claws; a heavy tongue flopping along the sides of an open jaw, a small four legged beast was catching up to her and she glanced back. A large portion of her mind registered him, the shaggy fur and light to dark pelt – Dyson in his Shifter form. So fast, but not enough to catch her and Kenzi knew she could speed up. A mischievous tilt of her lips and she pushed on leaving gold eyes staring after, wind a dull ache in her ears from the pressure the speed put on them. All of a sudden her view was being filled, a colossal thing – animal was taking up the land ahead and the throb sparked anew. Kenzi was pushing off the ground, into the air as the Alpha came to meet her.
