First of all I need to say a huge thank you for all the reveiws for the last chapter they were overwhelmingly beautiful so thank you.
To the one guest reviewer I apologise that you was upset by the last chapter because of the timing, as I explained in my disclaimer I except that the timing wasn't great. However the disclaimer was there for I reason, I explained in it that the timing wasn't great and that the prompt I was given called for Robin to be angry at Regina. I also explained that the story was written before last ep aired, I also advised that if anyone was still raw and upset over last ep it would be best if you didn't read that story or at least wait until things died down to read it so in all due respect if you then read anyway and it upsets you I don't feel I can be blamed by how you feel as I gave plenty of warning. I'm truly sorry I have lost you as a reader for any future fics but that is your choice and your entitled to it.
Prompt – Lets fix the mess of 4x19 shall we? Though I highly doubt it will be this easy.
Ok this is a quick fix for the whole 4x19 mess. Do I think its going to be this easy? Nope not at all. I hate this storyline, hate everything about it but I have hope even though with the interviews today its getting harder and harder. I think the issue is our perfect little ship about pixie dust and fate has been tainted by something so beyond ugly and complicated and that's hard for us but i'm not ready to give up because call me stupid and naive but i still have faith in the writers that gave me the couple I love so much, the couple that inspires such passion in people to be this devastated over it, the couple that inspired me to go from fanfic reader to writer even though for years I had no desire to. Yes I have faith that OutlawQueen will come through this. Is it going to be easy? Nope it's going to be messy and complicated and at this point I have no more ideas about how they will bring it back but I have faith they will, it's going to be a little less perfect but or the more real and human because it will prove that even in the most vile of circumstances this couple can survive anything. I will go down with this ship.
As always thanks to my beta Ivy.

``She's pregnant.''
The words slammed into Regina like a wrecking ball making her breath leave her in a giant whoosh and black spots dance in front of her eyes. Her stomach lurched and she gritted her teeth against the wave of nausea that washed over her while she reached blindly for something to hold onto as her legs turned to jelly, feeling like they were about to give out on her.
``She's pregnant.''
The words kept echoing around in her mind until she lifted one hand to her temple and rubbed hard at it trying stop them from bouncing around the inside of her head. But still they carried on along with a high pitched ringing, it was too much and she looked to Robin, silently begging him to tell her it was untrue, that this was just one big sick game and at any minute everything would be ok. That she would be in his arms and they would be planning the rest of their lives together like she had been hoping for moments earlier.
The last glimmer of hope fizzled out like a match when she looked to his face and saw the range of emotions playing out across it.
Confusion, guilt, horror, heartbreak, hopelessness.
He shook his head sadly at her before letting out a broken sob of her name and looking down to the ground.
Regina felt a sharp stab of pain in her heart as the betrayal washed over her, images of Robin with his hands on another woman invaded her mind and she shook her head rapidly to try and get rid of the image. It stayed and like a slide show it played out in the head, him kissing another woman, touching her, loving her, until she had to bite her lip hard to stop the sob escaping her lips.
She expected to feel anger then wash over her, that's how she normally responded to betrayal but as she looked to her soul mate it didn't come because one look to him told her that no matter how hurt or angry she got with him it would be mild compared to how he felt about himself in this moment.
She felt his pain from across the room, whether it was the soul mate connection or just because it was so great she wasn't sure but either way he looked broken, defeated and so, so confused.
She had no doubt the anger at him would come but right now she just ached to tell him it would all be ok, even though she was far from believing that herself right now. He was just as much a victim in this as she was, more so in some ways because Zelena had violated him in every way possible, physically, emotionally, mentally. She had taken the form of a woman he had once loved deeply, the mother of his child and woman he felt a moral obligation to and used it to manipulate him and in doing that, had soiled the memory of his wife. Regina thought for a moment how she would feel if someone had done that to Daniel and her stomach rolled at the mere thought, it was vile and unthinkable, and it had been done to him as a way to hurt her.
No, at that moment she could not feel anything but sympathy and regret for him.
The ringing in her ears continued and got louder until she felt like it would send her insane and she clenched her hands into fists at her side until the nails bit painfully into her hands, the pain slightly grounded her and she lifted her head to focus on Zelena's gleeful face.
Then the familiar anger set in.
Instantly the ringing stopped and silence filled her head as red mist clouded her vision. She felt a familiar darkness drift and curl into her mind, seeping into all corners until she felt like she would drown in it. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath to attempt to fight against it, forcing herself to remember what she had told Emma earlier. All she saw behind her closed eyes was Zelena's smirking face and she felt rage bubble higher. She fought to keep a hold of herself and for once she was grateful she couldn't use magic because she wanted to rip Zelena's head off yet the painful realisation that she was carrying a child, and not just any child one that was half Robin's nagged at her. So she silently battled the darkness as it snarled and hissed at her to let it free.
Zelena's face vanished from her mind to be replaced by Robin's tired and defeated eyes, this made her almost lose the battle as she thought again at how deeply this had wounded her soul mate. It gripped her tighter and she braced herself to pounce at her so called sister as she felt it drag her under.
``She's lying.''
Emma's firm voice pulled her out of her trance and she snapped her eyes at the blonde in question.
``They both are.'' She stated again with conviction.
A tiny glimmer of hope flickered in Regina's but she squashed it down unwilling to give into it to be crushed again. She sighed deeply and lifted her hand to rub at her aching temples. Before turning to Emma and telling her in a tired voice.
``Emma, now isn't the time to be playing around with your imaginary super powers.''
Emma moved to face her head on and placed a hand on her arm, waiting till she had Regina's full attention before speaking again with conviction. Regina looked to her friend's eyes and saw the total belief in them.
``Regina, I know you don't take much stock in my gift but I need you to trust me in this. I have never been more sure of anything in my life than I am in this, they are lying.''
Regina looked to Zelena again to see her still smirking face, though she noticed a flicker of concern pass through her eyes before it was gone again. She scoffed in amusement before regarding Emma and Regina with a roll of her eyes.
``Oh please, the saviour and her so called ability to seek out lies. Well I'm afraid it's not hit its mark this time. It's tested and proved, Regina. I'm carrying your soul mate's child and if you don't believe me then at least believe the man you love.''
Regina looked to Robin, his eyes met hers for a moment before he dropped them to the floor.
``It's true.'' he whispered.
His words may have told her everything she needed to know after all she trusted him more than anything.
That was if she hadn't have caught the flash of fear in his eyes before they had left hers.
Slowly she stepped forward to approach Robin. She felt anger fill her as she saw Zelena move to step in front of him and block her path. A possessive instinct flared inside her and the desire to rip her head off returned twice as strong. She took a deep breath to steady her raging emotions and turned to Emma. She said nothing, just gestured towards the blonde with a tilt of her head.
Emma got the message and stomped over to Zelena, followed by a confused looking Lily. Emma roughly pushed Zelena until she was a respectable distance from Robin, glaring at her as she held her forearm tightly. Lily seemed to understand what she was needed to do and took up position on the witches other side.
``Keep still and shut up.'' Emma barked harshly at Zelena. ``One word or one move and my fist is going to get up close and personal with your face.''
She heard Zelena growl lowly in the throat but she didn't attempt to move, she was outnumbered and had no magic and even to someone as deranged as Zelena, the fact she was at a loss could not have escaped her notice.
With the threat of Zelena taken care of for now, Regina began to slowly approach Robin again. His eyes were still routed to the floor and she saw as he clenched and unclenched his hands at his sides.
Once she reached him she reached out and placed her hands on each of his forearms. She felt him flinch slightly at her touch before she gently shushed him. The sound of her voice appeared to sooth him and he relaxed slightly at her touch.
She ran her hands slowly up his arms and over his shoulders till she reached his neck. She soothingly caressed the skin there before moving her hands up again to cup both his cheeks and tilt his head up so she could meet his eyes. She searched them and frowned when she saw them silently plead with her.
``What's going on?'' She whispered softly to him.
His eyes flicked over to the direction of Zelena and she saw the fear cloud them again, this made her even more certain something was very wrong and she gently guided his face back until his eyes landed on hers again.
``Hey.'' she told him soothingly. ``Don't look at her, look at me. Whatever it is you can tell me, ok? I love you and I'm here and whatever it is we will work through it together I promise.''
His haunted eyes looked fearfully at hers before he closed them tight and took in a ragged breath. A lone tear fell from his closed eyes and hit her finger and she tenderly wiped it away with her finger before caressing the damp path it had made. He opened his eyes again and took another deep breath as if he was about to speak but he didn't get the chance. Regina's anger rose again as her moment with her soul mate was interrupted by Zelena's venomous voice.
``Oh please, this is all very moving and all but-''
Her words trailed off into a grunt and she heard a small crash, she could only guess that Emma had roughly shoved her because her eyes had never left Robin who had flinched when he heard Zelena's voice again. She softly caressed his neck before gently taking his hand and placing it over her heart. His slightly shaking hand flexed against her as she spoke softly to him while her hand on his cheek assured he kept his eyes locked with hers.
``Feel that?'' Confusion flashed in his eyes at her question but he gave her a tiny nod in reply. ``Focus on it Robin, focus on the feel of my heart. You once told me to use yours for the both of us and right now I'm telling you to do the same. It's yours anyway, always has been and no matter what always will be and no matter what she's done we will face it together.''
Her eyes pleaded with him to believe her as she pressed his hand more firmly against her heart. She saw his stormy eyes wrestle with so many emotions and her soul seemed to burn as it responded to the distress of its other half. His hand flexed again against her heart and he closed his eyes, she almost begged him again to look at her but she gave him a moment as she caressed his stubbled cheek softly hoping her touch as well as her heartbeat would give him the strength to tell her whatever he needed to.
He took a deep breath and opened his eyes again to lock them on hers. The fear remained but they seemed a little calmer, she felt a tiny relief fill her as she realised it was working. She waited another moment as he appeared to wrestle with himself before he opened his mouth and spoke in a chocked gasp.
``She has Roland.''
His words slammed into Regina and she felt panic flood her as she heard Zelena's enraged cry from somewhere far away. The mother instinct in her raged inside her making panic and anger raise in her as she thought of the tiny boy that she had learnt to love. Robin's frantic, heartbroken rambling brought her out of her own thoughts and she forced herself to stay calm and listen to her soul mate's words.
``I didn't even know who she really was until an hour ago, she got a call from Gold to say you were on your way and she showed me who she really was but by that time she had already taken Roland somewhere. She told me the story to tell you and told me to make it convincing, yell, scream, break your heart so you would never bother us again or she would kill you then Roland.''
She listened then watched as something inside him that had been hanging by a thread appeared to break and he sagged forward into her. Her heart broke for him as she thought of all he had been made to digest in such a short time. She wrapped her arms around him as he sobbed into her neck and repeatedly whispered to her that he was sorry.
``It's ok.'' She whispered back in his ear as she moved her hand to run it soothingly through his hair. ``You did what you had to do to keep Roland safe. I understand.''
She felt her neck become damp as his tears hit her skin and she felt her heart throb painfully at his distress. She gave him a few more moments before pulling back and cupping his face again, as much as she wanted to just hold him until all his pain vanished she had work to do and in order to start in her task she needed to know one important thing.
``Robin, I need you to answer me something and it's important you tell me the truth ok?'' He gave her a tired nod in return and she took it as a cue to continue. ``Is there any chance she could really be pregnant?''
She braced herself for his answer, not sure she wanted to know but she had to ask. If she was going to get Zelena to tell her where Roland was it would take force, and in ways she could not inflict onto a pregnant woman.
He rapidly shook his head and she felt relief flood her.
``No.'' He told her frantically. ``At least not by me, I was never with her in that way. I couldn't, even when I truly believed it was really Marian.''
Love filled her as she listened to his words, his confession that he could not get her out of his mind any more than she could get him out of hers. The feeling was short-lived when she heard Zelena's harsh voice cut through her thought.
``Wasn't through lack of trying on my part though. Was it lover boy?''
Rage flowed through Regina and she let it wash over her. She tenderly lifted Robins hand to her lips and pressed a kiss to his palm before dropping it and moving towards Zelena with purpose.
She had no magic and she knew she couldn't cause the damage she wanted to but for now this would have to do. She pulled back her fist and swung until it made contact with Zelena's smirking mouth. She relished in the satisfying crack she heard as well as Zelena's grunt of pain as her fist made contact, the smirk was gone from Zelena's face giving way to streaks of blood and for once she felt no sting of shame for letting her dark side momentarily take over.
She turned to Emma and spoke in a commanding voice.
``Get her out of here, do what you need to do to get her to tell you where Roland is, if she won't then I'll step in and trust me she doesn't want that.''
Her last words were hissed at Zelena who glared back at her as she held her still bleeding mouth though Regina saw the spark of fear in her eyes before Emma and Lily roughly escorted her out of the small apartment.
Once the three women had disappeared from sight Regina placed her full attention back on Robin who was still just standing a few feet away from her with the heels of his hands pressed against his eyes. She took in his slightly trembling shoulders and she quickly raced over to him.
Once she had reached him she placed her hand to his shoulder and he flinched before dropping his hands from his eyes and allowing them to meet hers. She took in the anguish that shone in them, as well as the fear and she pulled him towards her. He came willingly as he appeared to sag against her, wrapping one arm around her waist as the other hand fisted in her hair. She wrapped her arms around him and ran her hands soothingly up and down his back trying her hardest to soothe him though she knew at this point it would be of small consequence until he had Roland back in his arms. He chocked out words of guilt and fear against her neck.
``My boy, Regina she's got my boy.''
Regina felt a tear leave her eyes as she felt the distress of her soul mate, her other half and she struggled to remain calm, but she would for him. She placed a tender kiss to the top of his head and made her voice sound as calm as she could manage as she promised him.
``We will get him back, I promise, I'll fix this.''
He clutched her tighter as he took in her words and she felt him relax slightly at her words, he trusted her completely. She knew he always had and she would not break that trust.
Even if she had to rip apart her sister in the process she would get their boy back.
