A/N: This is a Deleted Scene from Chapter 12. I have titled it "What Happens After the Nightmare Leaves", I know very original. Hahaha!

The italicised stuff at the beginning is what is in the real chapter, after that its just thoughts.

What Happens After the Nightmare Leaves

Thalia's POV

"But what do we do once we're inside Pitch's lair?" asks North.

"Well, we look for Jack, of course," Bunny remarks; everyone else nods, as if this is obvious.

"Alright, so we use globes to get inside lair," North states, then looks to the rest of us for agreement.

We all nod. We fall silent for a while, thinking of more ideas.

"But what if Pitch is there?" Tooth asks suddenly.

We all think about it for a minute, then Sandy tugs on my sleeve and starts signing to me his idea. He must find this easier then making picture and having them guess what he's saying all the time, I think as I nod and listen, well decipher, carefully.

"That might just work, Sandy," I say as I think about it a little more. I look to the other three Guardians and notice their confused looks. "Oh! Right! Sandy thinks some of us should make a diversion at the entrance to his lair. Then whoever goes through the snow globe shouldn't have too many problems."

"But who should go into the lair through the snow globe?" Bunny asks.

"Me." I state simply. "Pitch still thinks I'm dead; he'll wonder why only three of you are attacking and might go search for the fourth. It's the only way."

"She's right," Tooth says. "'Pitch would get suspicious."

"Alright, let's get ready." North says. He sits there and when we all get up to leave, he calls me back. "Are you sure about this, Thalia?" He asks me.

"Yes! I'm sure," I say confidently. "And besides I'm sure Jack would like to know that I'm not really dead." I laugh while North chuckles a little. "I just hope he recognizes me."

"I'm sure he will. Now, you should get a little bit rest. Going to be a long day tomorrow."

"Is it really night already?"

"Yes, come I will show you to your room."

I shake my head, "No, that's okay, North. I can find it."

We say our goodnights and I wave as I leave the room; by flying out the window and I search for a specific window. When I find it, I notice the window is already open wide. Jack's room, I think as I hop through the window. I shiver a little and walk over to the bed. I lay down and cuddle into his pillows and blankets. I breathe in his sent and eventually fall asleep…

A/N: So that's my first deleted scene. I was going to put it in, but I decided that I wanted give some suspense and I also wanted to have a conversation between the Guardians and Thalia, cause that doesn't happen very often.
