I promise that Pansy will be in the next chapter and will be happy ;-). Well I thought about the book and came up with a book titled "Twin Magic: The magical ways twins communicate". He saw it and knew Hermione loved to learn, so now she can learn what ways twins can "Sense" something about the other. I have never really like Ron but He will be back, not as bad as he has been though. Things will be changing when it comes to the Rape charges and the babies; I don't want to rush that plot too quickly.

Chapter 14

A month had passed since that night and Hermione was feeling better about the situation. She had spoken with Mrs. Weasley and she told her she didn't feel comfortable keeping the babies. They had spoken to Ginny about the situation to see if she had any ideas on what to do. Hermione had made a deal with them that she wouldn't press charges if they helped her raise the twins and Ron was not to be involved in their lives. They all agreed he was dangerous when it came to Hermione and feared he may hurt the babies. Ron had been quiet around everyone but Harry, he knew he should be in Azkaban and was thankful for a second chance. He didn't regret what he had done and felt smug about it still; he did realize he was a bloody idiot and should have been more careful. Whenever he would walk near Hermione he felt her shiver in fear before hurrying away from him. He knew he shouldn't feel so pleased with himself and was not really sure why he did.

If Hermione had thought that Blaise was over protective before this; she was incorrect. Blaise checked in on her once a day making sure she was okay. She hated all the attention she was getting and wished she could use a time turner and go back to that day. She would've walked with Draco to class so she wasn't alone, that way she would have been safe. Draco was also watching her closely making sure she wasn't ever alone. This meant he insisted she slept in his room to keep her safe, she couldn't deny it was nice falling asleep in his arms. Ginny had told her she was also here to help her recover anyway she could.

Draco woke up and looked over at Hermione as she slept, her hair in curls falling softly on the side of her face. She had a smile on her plump lips as she cuddled closer to his side. He grinned to himself before gently kissing her forehead and sitting up on the bed. He watched as her smile dropped the minute he pulled away from her and chuckled, this witch was everything he wanted. Draco did notice ever since she had been back in his life, that his magic had felt more powerful. There was a pull in him whenever she was near and he remembered what he read about the bonding of soulmates. It was written that once you bond magically with your soulmate you can feel the magic running faster through your veins whenever they are near. You feel incomplete when they are away and are pulled to them even if you hadn't seen them in ages. Hermione and he had bonded as children and he was heartbroken when she disappeared. He felt a strange pulling of his magic when he entered Hogwarts that first day and didn't think anything of it. "Good morning Mimi" He smiled as she slowly opened her eyes.

"Morning Drake" She grinned before pulling him back down to cuddle some more. "I don't want to leave the bed yet, its only Saturday so we can stay in longer." She ran her fingers over his lips before giving him a kiss. She felt him start to deepen the kiss and felt a small spark before pulled away slowly. "I love you Drakey."

"I love you too Mia. Did you feel that?" He asked her as he rubbed his bottom lip "I wonder what that was, maybe our chemistry is that explosive" He grinned at her before claiming her lips once again. He pulled her on top of him and smiled before licking her bottom lip asking to deepen the kiss. She returned the kiss and ran her hands thru his hair before feeling something; the same spark she felt earlier. He flipped them over so he was on top and slowly ended the kiss and smirked "Explosive" He planted kisses down the side of her neck and heard her moan softly. He whispered softly in her ear "I could take you right here and now if you keep that up." He bit the bottom of her ear gently before giving her a quick kiss.

She looked at him and grinned "What if I said I wouldn't mind?" She saw the look of surprise on his face before putting her hand on the side of his face. "Draco, I will let you know when I'm ready." If she was being honest about it she was still having nightmares of that night and it scared her. She knew he would understand and she knew their relationship had been growing beautifully. Hermione was unsure how to get over that night.

Draco kissed her forehead softly before slowly moving to a sitting position "Mia I would never rush you, I'm just happy you are giving me a chance." He stood up and took his shirt off to get dressed for the day ahead. He noticed she was staring at him and laughed to himself "like what you see?" He winked at her before heading to get cleaned up.

Hermione couldn't help but stare at him as he took his shirt off, she couldn't deny that he was very attractive. She could remember when she first happened to see him during a quidditch practice with his shirt off. It was third year and she went to the pitch looking for her friends and found Draco and Blaise practicing quidditch. She looked at Draco and started to feel her cheeks turn red. "Maybe I do." She told him and grinned, "I have liked it for a long time…" She put her hand to her mouth in shock, how could she let that slip out. The only ones that knew about that were Ginny and Harry, she saw him walk over to her and attempted to run past him.

"Oh so you have thought about me for a while then" He smirked at her as he leaned her against the wall. He looked in her eyes and slowly leaned forward as she reached up to meet his lips. This kiss felt different, like every nerve in their bodies were on fire. The kiss slowly became more intense as he lifted her up and she wrapped her legs around his waist. Neither one could pull away; it was like they were attached by an invisible string. She could feel her heart racing and pulled him as close as she could, never leaving his lips.

When they finally come up for air, they were lying in his bed out of breath. Somehow they had managed to get to his bed and remove their shirts. Their hair was disheveled and lips swollen. Still trying to slow her heart rate, Hermione grinned at him and kissed his nose before standing up and straightening her shirt. "As much as I loved that, I do need to get dressed. We get to go shopping today and you need to keep that chest covered. It's only for me to see." She laughed and walked out to go to her room.

"That little witch" Draco chuckled. He didn't know what just happened; he had meant to tease her about thinking he looked good before letting her go to get dressed. It's like they were drawn together and they needed each other. He couldn't complain though, that was the best snog he had ever had. He smirked to himself "She looked beautiful and sexy" he said out loud before clearing his thoughts and standing up to get dressed.

Somehow they were able to leave the castle after two hours. That was between the many stops they had to kiss and the people who stopped them to ask about the ball. Once they had arrived in Hogsmeade, they headed towards the stores to find Hermione an outfit for the Halloween ball. They passed a few stores when they head their names being called and turned around.

Blaise and Daphne were looking around in Diagon Alley for an idea for an outfit to wear to the Halloween ball; which was in a week. They held hands and walked down the street looking for the new shop "Seasonal Fashion". They had costumes this month and from what they heard, the selection was decent. Daphne grinned at him when she saw a jewelry store on the corner. "Blaise Please can we look in here, I want to see what they have!"

He looked at her and laughed "Yes, just don't go to crazy in there. I will buy you 2 things only." He blushed slightly when she hugged him tight and kissed him. He smiled at her and took her hand. "Let's go before you burst." He grinned when she playfully hit him in the arm.

"Blaise Zabini I will not burst" She smiled sheepishly at him "But I do love you and you are the best boyfriend in the whole world." She walked into the store with him and looked at the different selections they had. "Where are your expensive pieces?" She asked the clerk

Blaise rolled his eyes and laughed "Only you would ask for that first." Daphne glared at him slightly "But that's what I love about you, always knowing what you want right away." He relaxed when she squeezed his hand.

Daphne knew he was kidding with her but felt a little offended "I just want something good, something that won't fall apart." She leaned her head on his shoulder and smiled as he wrapped his arm around her waist. She looked at the selection the clerk had brought out "Look at this one!" She saw a beautiful platinum gold ring that had hearts cut in on either side of the 3 karat black diamond ring. It was sparkling in the light as she tried it on and she loved it. "How much does this cost?" She asked them hoping it wasn't that expensive. "It is 1000 Galleons" She heard him say before pouting "Oh well I will look at something else, that's too expensive."

"Why don't we look at something else love, maybe a bracelet?" He rubbed her back softly "You go look over there and I will be right back." He kissed her forehead and walked to the counter and handed the clerk a piece of paper. He watched as the sales clerk read the note and nodded at him before walking to the back. He walked back over to Daphne, where she was looking at bracelets. "Did you find anything Daph?"

Daphne looked at him and raised an eyebrow "What was that all about?" She saw him starting to look nervous. "Blaise what did you give him?" She put her hand on her hip when he didn't answer right away.

"Um I had a note to give him from my mum. She had ordered something and needed to make sure it was done correctly." He pointed to a bracelet he saw her looking at "Did you like this one, I saw you looking at it." He changed the subject.

Daphne looked at him suspiciously, "I know you are lying, you better tell me later." She looked over at the Bracelet he pointed at and had to admit it was beautiful. It was a rose gold bracelet with diamonds in the shape of hearts connected together. It had a simple engraving in it that said 'Always' that changed colors based on your loved one's mood. She picked it up and took a closer look at it before trying it on. "How does it look?" She smiled at him.

Blaise looked nervous; he couldn't tell her what he had told the sales clerk. Only Draco knew and he didn't want anyone else to know yet. "It looks beautiful on you" He smiled at her "let's go look for costumes, we don't want to wait until last minute." He paid for the bracelet and held the door open for her. "Daphne I have to use the loo, can you wait for me." He went back in the jewelry store and headed to the back to pick up the ring. "Thank you; did you put the engraving on it?" He looked at the ring and grinned "I hope I can wait until June." He thanked the man and hid the ring in his pocket.

"Let's go Blaise, I just saw Mia and Draco walk by!" she grinned and grabbed his hand pulling him to catch up to them. "Hermione" Daphne yelled towards them "Wait up you two!"

Hermione turned around and laughed "Hey you two, Is my brother being good today?" She felt a spark as Draco held her hand. She looked at him to see if he felt it too. "Did you feel that? I wonder why that keeps happening."

"Well we went to the jewelry store and I saw this beautiful ring. It cost 1000 Galleons though so I couldn't get it." She looked sad "It was just perfect, but Blaise found this beautiful bracelet and bought me it!" She showed Hermione the bracelet and couldn't stop smiling. "So I guess your brother was being good today, except for that note." She looked at Blaise and he shrugged his shoulders pretending he didn't know what she was talking about.

Draco looked at Blaise "The note your mum gave you, you took care of it?" He could tell Blaise needed some help if he wanted to keep the ring a surprise from Daphne. They had come up with an idea that if he found the ring and she was around. They had a note written up explaining he wanted to buy the ring to ask her to marry him; If they could please hold it for him and that he would be back to get it shortly. When he heard Blaise had handed the note off he laughed to himself.

Blaise looked relieved "Yes Drake that note" He looked at Daphne and grinned "See I told you I wasn't lying to you."

"Okay Blaise, you are safe this time. You could have not been so sneaky about it and I wouldn't have been worried." Daphne playfully slapped his shoulder.

"That bracelet is beautiful! Now I want to know what this ring looks like, maybe one day you will get a ring." Hermione saw Blaise shot her a glare before smirking back at him. "Well we were going to go get our outfits for the ball; since we never actually got there that day before the Pansy fight." She grinned as both the guys groaned.

Daphne grinned and linked arms with Hermione "Let's go looking then!" They starting walking ahead of the guys and were talking about the different things they wanted to look at. She looked back and saw the guys walking behind them, they were discussing something and it looked important by how soft they were talking. "We need a girl's night, just me and you!" She looked at Hermione and smiled "I feel like I don't know you as well as I should." She watched Hermione agree and grinned before chatting about the current gossip going around.

Draco looked at Blaise and raised an eyebrow "Well are you going to show me the ring or not?" He laughed when he shot him a glare. "What?"

"Drake you could wait until they get out of earshot! Yes I have it in my pocket." He narrowed his eyes at him in annoyance. He took the ring out of his pocket and handed it to Draco. "She saw it in the store and was in love, I told her it cost too much because I wanted to use it to propose in June. She was upset and mad at me; that was until you covered my arse back there." He laughed as Draco rolled his eyes.

"You need to learn to be a better sneak, maybe Daphne made you soft." Draco ducked to the side as Blaise went to hit him. "Geez take a joke mate! You have gone soft though. I remember we would sneak around the manor and sneak up on Hermione to scare her." They both laughed thinking of how she would get so mad; she would run after them threatening to curse them. They would always escape her and knew she wouldn't hurt them if she caught them. "But this ring is different, definitely her style though." He received a glare and shrugged his shoulders "There's nothing wrong with that, she will love it. I had to cover your arse back there; you had no chance of getting out of that one alive." He smirked at Blaise as he handed the ring back to him.

Blaise put the ring back in his pocket before looking serious "Enough about Daphne, how are you guys doing? I haven't been able to really talk to her for two weeks, I am concerned for Mia. The twin vibes thing, I have been feeling off for a few weeks now." He noticed the girls had stopped at a shop looking in the windows.

"She is just worried about the Weasel; she thinks that if she presses charges everyone will hate her. As you know she made that deal with his family, but I think she is second guessing it." Draco sighed "I already told her we would help her with the babies but she is hesitant about Mrs. Weasley helping raise them too. I told her that she should have pressed charges and not worried about his family." He shook his head "Always wanting to please everyone that one is. I just hope she uses a protection spell so he can't get to her, I'm thinking of casting one while she sleeps to keep her safe."

Blaise looked pleased with his answer "I know she wants to make everyone happy but I think she is wrong on this. I am just glad I have my best mate to keep her safe. Drake you know I talked to her two weeks ago and she confessed something to me. She told me she actually remembers everything now, even those times in our nappies when we would try to escape the playpen to get the house elf's attention." He laughed and noticed Draco was staring at Hermione with a smile on the corner of his mouth. The girls were pointing at different dresses and laughing. "Drake, are you there?" He smirked knowing the look on his friend's face.

Draco shot him a look "Blaise I was paying attention to you, I just got distracted for a minute." He blushed slightly "So she remembers everything? Even that time we were all at the lake and she pushed me in the water because I made fun of her hair." He laughed remembering he liked her and hadn't told her yet. He saw her hair had natural black highlights and he didn't want her to know he thought she was cute. Draco told her she had dirt in her hair and she was so upset she pushed him into the lake and ran away crying.

"Draco mate, I know that look. You two seem different today, like something happened different." Blaise smirked knowingly at him. "You both look happy, like in "Love" happy."

"Well we have been getting to know each other better, you know talking and snogging." He grinned remembering this morning. "And we have been feeling this "Spark" of magic every time we have touched today. It's like our bond has gotten stronger and I am not sure if that is a good or bad thing." He knew how protective he could get if the bond grew stronger but didn't want to scare her away. "I am in love with Mia and hope I'm not going to scare her off." He sighed happily letting his eyes glance over at Hermione and smiled to himself.

Blaise shook his head at Draco "That is my sister; I don't need to know you two have been Snogging! But the spark of magic is interesting; maybe you should ask your mum she told you about the magical bond."

"You mean you don't want to hear how she has been cuddling with me every night and how I wake her up with a good snog. I mean she is just amazing and I can't deny that I want to marry that witch one day." He smirked at the look on Blaise's face. "I have to hear about you and Daphne all the time, I'm happy leave me be." He laughed

"Draco you are lucky you are my best mate, if you two weren't so happy I would kick your arse. Please stop telling me about what Hermione and you do; I would rather not want to know." He looked annoyed but laughed "let's go inside with the girls, this may take a while." They walked over to the store and went inside to see what they wanted to wear.

The store had costumes lined up against the walls and changing rooms in the middle. Hermione spotted a beautiful green dress that has gold shimmer along the bottom. "Daphne look at this one!" She ran over to it and held it up against her body "It is beautiful, I wonder how it will look on me." She grinned as she went to look around the rest of the store.

The guys stayed at the back of the store at the dressing rooms, waiting on the girls to finish looking around. They had already found their outfits and were leaning against the back of the chairs chatting about quidditch. Draco told him he was thinking of maybe joining a national quidditch team after he graduated. "What are you going to do about my sister? You would be gone a lot and you know how most quidditch players are." Blaise gave him a knowing look.

"I would never hurt Mia, I can resist those temptations. I would be gone but she could come with me or we could apparate back and forth to the games and practices." Draco shrugged his shoulders as he found his finger nails interesting. "Oh look, the girls are ready for us." He avoided eye contact with Blaise and watched as they went into the dressing rooms. He could feel the glare he was receiving while he watched the doors waiting for them to come out. Draco knew he had made him mad with that comment but didn't know what else to say.

Hermione walked out of the dressing room and turned to them asking how she looked. She wore a black A Line dress with silver sparkles; it had thin straps and had a low back that hung down to her waist. It went down to her knees and had a petticoat underneath it. "Do you like this one?" She twirled around and smiled at Draco.

Draco smiled back "It looks good on you but I would have to see more." He watched her walk back to the room "But the back looks perfect." He felt Blaise hit him in the arm "That hurt Mate! What was that for?"

"What did I tell you about talking about her like that in front of me?" He smirked as he saw Draco looking annoyed and rubbing his arm. "That didn't hurt you, now maybe you will listen next time." He laughed as he watched Hermione come out in her next outfit.

She walked out in a Green dress that had gold shimmer along the bottom; it was the same dress that was in the front of the store when she walked in. Hermione loved how she felt in the dress; she looked in the mirror and grinned before rubbing her hands on her sides feeling the soft material. "I think I like this one the best though, it makes me feel beautiful." She played with her hair while waiting for their response.

"I think that one may be too short for you, it only goes to above the knee." Blaise felt like she shouldn't be wearing a dress that short.

Draco on the other hand just looked at her and his jaw dropped "You are beautiful" was all he could get out. She had a tight green dress on that looked like it was tailored to fit her. It had cap sleeves that showed her fit arms. The back of the dress dipped to her shoulder blades and was sheer. He looked her up and down not wanting to miss a single detail of the image in his head. The dress landed right above her knees and had a gold shimmer along the bottom of the dress that faded to match the green on the top as it went up. He felt his pants start to tighten up and shifted in his seat. "I am buying you that wither you wear it or not, you look bloody sexy in it."

Hermione blushed and pulled at the hem of the dress "You really like it? I think I am going to wear this." She looked at Draco ignoring her brother.

Blaise rolled his eyes "Mia, are you sure you want to wear a dress that short in from of him." He shot Draco a look "He might take advantage of you, but it does fit you well."

"Blaise I like the way I feel in it and don't worry, I am a big girl. Draco will treat me like a lady and be a gentleman, right Draco?" She covered up her mouth to hide a giggle when she saw him pretending to not be interested in their conversation.

"If he ever treats you bad again, I won't hesitate to kick his arse." Blaise smirked before standing up to go to the loo. "If Daphne comes out, can you please tell her I will be right back?" He walked to the front of the store.

"Now that he is gone, get over here you sexy witch." Draco watched as Hermione walked over and sat on his lap. "You know how sexy you look in that dress" He kissed the side of her neck "I could take you into the dressing room right now and show you how much I love you in that dress." He whispered seductively in her ear. He ran his fingers down her back slowly feeling her shiver at his touch.

Hermione blushed deep red before closing her eyes enjoying the feelings she was experiencing. "Draco" she kissed him quickly and pulled away "I have to go change now and I'll be right back out." She couldn't stop smiling as she walked in the dressing room not paying attention and bumped into Daphne.

"Hermione, be careful!" Daphne rubbed her arm "You know I am fragile" she laughed at Hermione "You look happy, I take it Draco liked the dress."

"Yes he said he loved it among other things. Blaise told me it was too short; guess he still thinks he needs to protect me." Hermione sat down and saw the dresses Daphne was going to try on. "Oh these look pretty, which one is your favorite?"

Daphne laughed softly "Your brother just feels like he has to make up for all those times he wasn't there to protect you. Don't mind him any, he is just getting tired of hearing Draco talk about you all the time." She picked up a white dress that has lace sleeves; it looked like it went down to the knees and had a cut out in the back shaped like a tear drop. "I want to try this one first; it will go with my mask I picked up last time." She put the dress on and looked in the mirror. She loved the dress and turned to her side see the back. "It fits well, but I'm not sure about the back. It makes my butt look big, don't you think Mia?"

Hermione started to laugh and looked at her dress "Well Daph, it does make you look like you have a big backend. But I do like the dress, maybe you should try the next one on?" She pointed to the blue one that was hanging up and grinned "I think this one looks gorgeous, you should try this one on next." She handed Daphne the dress to try on.

"At least mine wasn't skin tight!" She stuck her tongue out at Hermione. Hermione narrowed her eyes and sneered at her slightly. "Oh Mia you know I'm kidding! You looked beautiful in your dress and did you just sneer at me?" She laughed while putting on the blue dress she was handed. "I think they are starting to rub off on you." Daphne looked at herself in the mirror and gasped at herself. "Oh I love this, look at the color on me." She changed the angle she was looking in the mirror and smiled. "I feel so pretty in this, what do you think?"

"Oh Daphne you look gorgeous! I love how it looks like it changes colors when you move differently in the light." She smiled at her "The bead work is beautifully done too, where did you find this one at?" she stood up and ran her hand down the dress. "You have to go show Blaise the dress; he is going to love it!" Hermione thought for a minute and grinned "Or you could surprise him with the dress the day of the ball."

Daphne thought about what she had said and laughed "That is a good idea! He will hate me for it but I can't wait to surprise him." The girls changed into their regular clothes and brought the dresses out of the room. Daphne made sure to hide her dress behind her back so Blaise didn't see it. "Ok we are ready." She announced to them as they left the dressing room.

"Where is your dress at?" Blaise saw she had her hands behind her back "What's back there?" He tried to look behind her back but she kept wiggling away from him and giggled. "Why can't I see it?" He pouted at her.

"Because I want you to be surprised and before you say anything it was all Hermione's idea." She grinned before giving him a quick kiss and heading to the register to pay for her dress.

Draco laughed as he watched them, "Mate, I guess you have to wait. I was lucky enough to see Mia in hers." He smirked at him and felt Hermione sit on his lap, "Hey love" He kissed her forehead.

Hermione looked at him and smiled "Hey Drakey" She laid her head on his shoulder "Daphne told me you two are rubbing off on me only because I sneered at her." She heard Draco and Blaise start to laugh "What, I am not as bad as you are!" She glared at Blaise "I am the good twin remember."

Blaise had to walk away a second to catch his breath from laughing so hard. "Mia if you got resorted today, you would totally be in Slytherin." She sneered at him before hearing Daphne join in on the conversation. "See you can't deny it, that sneer could match Draco's sneer any day."

"Okay as funny as this is, I would rather not be in trouble tonight for laughing. Yes Hermione he is right, you have let your inner Slytherin out." He saw her looking upset "That's not a bad thing; you used to be worse when you were little." He grinned and kissed her quickly before helping her stand up so they could leave.

Hermione sighed admitting defeat "Fine I guess you are right. At least I am starting to feel like myself again." She smiled to herself and intertwined her fingers with Draco's before paying for her dress. They all walked out of the store and headed back to Hogwarts.
