Well here's the next chapter. I hope you enjoy!

"Be my evil queen," Future Kululu requested. He waited for Angol Mois's response.

Mois just smiled. Then, she began to giggle. "I thought you were serious for a moment, but then I realized you weren't. What a funny joke!" She wiped a tear from her eyes.

"Joke?" Future Kululu didn't understand. She thinks I'm joking about my proposal...

"And even if I was considering the offer, I couldn't leave everybody! I have too many important people back home. Like Uncle! I couldn't leave Uncle. I don't know what he'd do without me," she told him.

Future Kululu frowned deeply and grabbed Mois's wrist, pulling her closer to look at her deeper. "Don't live your life for him." He almost hissed the words. His expression changed to a more dangerous look.

"What do you mean?" she asked. She could tell something had changed in Future Kululu because of her words.

"It will only end in you getting hurt," he warned her.

Mois' smile turned into a frown.

S-so... T-that's how I died... she realized. "I... I'll t-try..." she promised to heed.

Future Kululu gave a sigh before letting go of her wrist. "I suppose I should take you back. I believe the time machine is ready to test and to send you back." I suppose it's on to plan B then. And if that doesn't work, there's Plan C.

"It's ready?" she asked. Future Kululu nodded.

"Come on, I'll take you back." He readied the hovercraft for her and the two set off yet again.

Future Kululu and Mois joined everybody in the large room both Kululus had set the time machine in. Kululu had brought everybody for the test run that could potentially turn into their doorway home.

Keroro crossed his arms, annoyed. He glanced over to Tamama and Future Keroro, who were continuously flirting with each other. "I am so ready to leave," he grumbled.

"I hope Natsumi isn't worried about where we've been," Giroro hoped, remembering that previously they were going to attend a party with her.

"I think this adventure has taught us all about a number of lessons," Dororo spoke. "For one - "

"There you are," Kululu cut off as Mois entered the room. He didn't say anything about how she seemed to be accompanied by his older self. He felt there was nothing between them.

"I'm here!" she smiled. "So we're all ready?"

"Not all of us." Fuyuki was the one who spoke up. "That time machine... it isn't real!" he accused, pointing.

"Dude, I worked on this myself. Are you dissing my genius?" Kululu asked.

"I'm going to listen to the advice I was given. I don't trust it! I know all about what happened to you in the past, Future Kululu; I've heard your backstory! And I know you wouldn't just give us a working time machine. So what is it? And then I finally figured out what it is. It's a fake, programmed to do something else!" he explained, putting his skills of observation to good use.

Future Kululu said nothing, his smile never faltering. He briefly exchanged glances with Future Keroro.

Everybody watched Fuyuki, believing most of the words he said. They were shocked by Future Kululu's betrayal.

"Is that true?" Keroro finally asked, "Is this... not real?"

"Why would I waste so much time on a fluke?" Future Kululu answered. "No, I assure you the time machine is real. It should work too." He walked up to it and pressed a button. A portal big enough for a human to walk through appeared in front of them, showing an image of the Hinata house ten years ago.

There was also a little clock next to it, with the measurement of one hour on it. Instead of counting up, it clicked down, a countdown timer.

"S-so, it works..." Fuyuki was honestly surprised.

"Yep. Ku, ku, ku." He made a hand motion, and before anybody realized it - Future Keroro had darted forward and grabbed Mois's hand. The hovercraft that Future Kululu had been using flew through the ceiling, and a rope came down from it, entangling itself around Mois.

"Plan is a go," Future Keroro smiled as he helped Mois up into the ship. Looking down for a moment, he spoke, "Whatever decision you make, Tamama, I'll stand by it." Then he hauled Angol Mois into the hovercraft.

"Huh...? Wh-what? What's going on?" she asked, confused.

"Now. For all of you who are still stuck to the ground in confusion, let me explain." Future Kululu grabbed another steel rope that had come down from his ship to help him up. "The time machine has one hour. After that, it will blow up, and you'll never have another chance to go back home. Decide if you want to try to risk it all to rescue someone that would be better off here, or go home. It may be your only chance. Ku, ku, ku!" The rope quickly pulled him up.

"Now, I'll be leaving with my evil queen. Bye, losers!" The spaceship flew off with him, Future Keroro, and Angol Mois.

Everybody else just stood there in shock.

Kululu tried to stop the countdown timer, which he assumed his future self had installed while he was asleep. "No luck. What he said is definitely true," he told them.

"So... we have to make a choice between Mois's life and our's..." Fuyuki realized. "He expects us all to choose ours and leave him alone, but... that wouldn't be right to Mois..."

"So who's going to stay and go?" Dororo wondered.

Giroro was the first to speak up.

"I... I have to go. We need to make it back to the past, and there's a chance Mois can get back by herself. It's not right to leave Natsumi all alone. I have to get back," he said.

"Then go," Keroro told him. Giroro nodded and walked through the portal. They saw him appear on the other side, signifying that it had worked.

"Guess he didn't think about consequences if my invention hadn't worked. He's just so used to being a guinea pig he darted right in! Ku, ku, ku." Kululu tried to make a light-hearted joke to lessen the deadly mood.

"I'm going to stay," Tamama finally spoke up bravely.

"W-what?" Keroro looked at him. "You're going to try to save Mois?"

"Ew! Heck no!" He shook his head at the thought. "I'm going to stay here forever."

"Wait, what?" Keroro looked at him. He was completely shocked, unable to grasp the concept. "Wh-why?"

"Other Mr. Sergeant loves me... He'll always love me. He said he'd respect my decision, and this is it. I don't think I can take battling over you with that woman any longer... Why should I go back to that past where I'm doomed to be alone forever, when a Mr. Sergeant loves me here and now? I don't want things to be uncertain any longer. I want love... And happiness... and here, I get it," he spoke. "Good-bye, Mr. Sergeant."

"N-no... No!" Keroro shook his head, not being able to take it. "I've made my decision, guys. Please, whoever stays to help Mois, bring her back. But I have to be here for someone else. I need to help my platoon mate..." Keroro took a big gulp. "Y-you want love?"

Tamama nodded, and although Keroro was surprised, he put that aside for a moment trying to stop the sudden pink flush on his cheeks.

He grabbed Tamama's hands and pulled him closer until they were facing each other, almost bumping heads. He then closed the distance between them and brought them into a passionate kiss.

Fuyuki's jaw dropped open as he watched. Tamama was very, very happy.

Keroro parted with him and pushed him into the portal. "Don't give up your life, all your friends, just for me! You fell for my distraction!" Keroro watched as Tamama fell through, appearing on the other side.

"He's going to be mad about that... I mean, you should have let him choose for himself instead of making your own selfish decisions," Fuyuki told him.

"My job is to protect my platoon members. Tamama is no exception from his own rash decisions. Now, I have to go and rethink everything I ever knew. Please... all of you follow me," Keroro requested before jumping into the portal himself.

"Keroro was still blushing..." Dororo realized.

"That was awkward. Wish I had a camera on me," Kululu told them. "Your turn, Dororo and Fuyuki. You better jump through the portal before it's too late."

"I'm not going," said Fuyuki. "I have to stay behind. It's wrong to just leave Mois here. Maybe I can negotiate with him, but I'm not leaving her."

"Me, either. When the innocent are in trouble, I will never leave. So I suppose it's just you who has to go, Kululu," Dororo told him.

"Heck, no. I'm not leaving. This is my mess, and I would have preferred to clean it up myself. Ku, ku, ku." Kululu had never planned to leave, and Dororo and Fuyuki smiled when they realized that fact. "I... I should have known myself better. I'm a jerk till the end, yet I didn't predict this stunt? I'd have to do something big and extravagant like this to continue my great image. B-but... I was distracted... And didn't figure he'd pull anything. I have to make up for that and beat him."

"What are we going to do with the time machine?" Dororo asked, seeing that the timer had 48 minutes left.

"Bring it with us. The box that makes the portal is small enough for Fuyuki to carry. As long as nobody touches the portal, it should be fine," Kululu told them.

"Then, to save Mois?" said Fuyuki.

"Yeah. I know how to track where she is, and reprogram one of the hovercrafts to go where we want," Kululu told them, knowing it would be pretty easy to find her. It was confronting his evil self that was the problem. "You won't stand a chance against him. You know that, right?"

"Yeah, but we'll stand a chance against Future Sarge. And he's half of his team," said Fuyuki. "We might be able to distract him and steal Mois away."

Kululu nodded and began preparing everything to find Mois.

"Why are you doing this?" Mois asked as Kululu landed on the top of a mountainside to await to see if anybody would come. He knew he'd have to at least deal with his younger self.

"Because I care about you," he admitted. "Now... under this position, do you still think I'm joking about my offer? I'm serious about it. Please, stay here..."

Mois bit her lip, waiting for the others to find her. There was a moment of fear and uncertainty in her eyes. They've been given a choice between their freedom and me. I... I don't know what they'll choose...she realized. She considered some of them her friends, important people to her, but would people she cared about like Keroro choose her, or himself? She didn't want to face the truth that he probably wouldn't come.

Nobody could probably afford to come.

"Mois... They all just stood there when Fuyuki pointed a trigger to you. Even the other me. He did nothing. But I did something. I just... I don't want you to have to go back there to people who don't care about you... To a place that might kill you. I'm not going to let you die, not ever again," Future Kululu vowed. Mois looked at him and saw genuineness.

He was honestly just scared for her life, for some pretty valid reasons, too. He was right.

"M-may... I take some time to decide?" she finally spoke. She was frightened by the fact that nobody would probably come for her, and that Future Kululu was being completely honest with her. He was trying to save her life, and she knew that made her decision all the more important.

"Of course," Future Kululu agreed.

"Can you take these ropes off of me? I won't run away... You've made your point that you're serious. I just need to think on the matter now. And I don't want this to be a kidnapping," she told him.

"I'm sorry for the extreme things I had to do to make you see how serious I was." Future Kululu undid the ropes and smiled.

She was almost his.

Angol Mois abided by her promise and didn't run.

Kululu, Fuyuki, and Dororo landed on the mountainside, seeing Angol Mois and Future Kululu talking. Future Keroro stood by loyally guarding them.

"We're here for Mois!" Fuyuki declared, carefully getting out of the hovercraft. Mois looked up, surprised.

"We're actually here for you, other me. I don't appreciate being jerked around. Ku, ku, ku." Kululu tried to keep the focus off of Mois.

"Ku, ku, ku. That's the reason you came? How petty." Future Kululu smirked. Kululu didn't smirk back, knowing the clock was ticking by.

Fuyuki left the time machine in the hovercraft, and he and Dororo ran forward to the Future Keroro, who pulled out a sword and pointed it at both of them, taking a defensive stance to protect Mois.

"So... Tamama didn't come..." He seemed a little bit disappointed, but also happy. "I hope the other me treats him well with the time they have."

"He will be quiet happy. I'm sure," Dororo soothingly said, taking out his own blade. "Do you wish to fight?"

"I can't fight you, Dororo. You're my friend. But I won't let you capture Mois. I'm doing this to set things right. Pay for my mistakes," he told them.

"We won't fight you. We won't put you in that position, then," Fuyuki decided. He knew Keroro was probably doing all this to repent from her tragic death. "Instead, how about we negoitate?"

"I can do that." Future Keroro put away his sword.

Future Kululu walked toward his younger self, who stood before him. Kululu glared back, his hand on his head phones, wondering when to turn them. It was the only weapon he had on him. The older Kululu had him outmatched in strength, wits and materials at hand. Kululu, for once, was at a loss at what to do.

I have to save Mois. I need him to give her up. That is my one goal, nothing else. Not beating him. Mois's safety from this monster is the first priority. That made his mission a tiny bit easier. He just had to somehow get Mois to the portal before it blew up.

"Why do you even want her here? She's terrifying. Admit it, you'd be happy for me to take her off your hands." Kululu tried the only tactic he knew how, insulting people. If I distract him for even a little bit, she may be able to run away, get to the portal or something. Also I know he fears her... Maybe I can negotiate?

Future Kululu just glared at him. "Insulting her won't do anything for her favor. Ku, ku, ku. How pathetic you are." Future Kululu didn't even seem to be attacking him. He had everything, so he had no reason to.

Kululu tried to glance at Mois, who wasn't moving at all. Instead she watched carefully, looking a bit hurt from Kululu's insult.

"Why did you even try to do this? Mois can fly! She could probably fly away at a moment's notice..." Kululu tried to hint for her to get away. Run. That will make it a lot easier.

"She promised not to run," Future Kululu said simply. "She's deciding." He approached Kululu slowly and pushed him down. "You have become quite a pest. Leave or I'll have to kill you."

Future Kululu's hand pushed Kululu to the ground, forcing him to make a choice between life and death. "Why aren't you running?" Kululu finally called out to Mois.

"I-I'm... confused..." she admitted. "I'm thinking... the other you wants me to stay, and his reasons are purely just for my safety... You don't even want me to come back. I mean, you just talked about how I was a burden and was really scary... So I'm thinking over his offer," she told him.

Fuyuki and Dororo stepped back for a moment, shocked that Mois was there willingly and honestly thinking it over.

Wh-what...? But how am I supposed to get her back if she doesn't even want to come back? Kululu didn't know what to do. He was pressed harder and harder against the ground, his future self standing over him.

"There, now you have it. My evil queen is still deciding. So leave," Future Kululu whispered to him.

"No!" Kululu yelled. "I'm not leaving." He finally pressed his headphones to send his wires out. That gave him enough forrce to push his older self off.

"Ku, so it's a fight that you want? Let her make her own decisions. She doesn't want you." Future Kululu pulled out a laser gun from behind his cape.

Kululu tried to dodge it as his older self just laughed.

"You know..." said his older self, "since you're going to die, I might as well confess something..."

He's trying to distract me from predicting his moves. "What?" Kululu asked, knowing there was nothing Future Kululu could do to distract him. He was too smart for this tactic.

"It's not fear. I totally lied. Ku, ku, ku."

And, of course, he just had to say the only possible words that could unnerve Kululu just enough that he'd falter. He shot at Kululu's legs, causing him to fall to the ground.

Mois continued thinking to herself, her eyes drifting off the fight.

It was Fuyuki who interrupted her from her thoughts. "Are you stupid?" he yelled.

"Huh?" she asked.

"We all came here for you, to help you! We all care about you, even Kululu! He doesn't not want you to return with us. He is fighting his evil older self just for you!" he reminded her. "Kululu cares about you... more than you could ever know!" It wasn't his place to tell her that, but he knew it could probably snap her out of her daze.

"Huh...?" Her eyes widened. Can... Can that be true? I mean, there is a countdown timer... So he really did come for me? They all did? They want me to go back... She looked back to the fight, where Future Kululu was pointing his gun at Kululu, about to shoot.

"Wait! Stop!" she yelled. Future Kululu paused for a moment, listening to her orders.

Don't let Kululu die... He can't... He's my and friend and coworker... If the cost to stay was Kululu's life, it wasn't worth it. The Kululu from her world was her Kululu, not this other one, although he did seem to care for her extremely. "I... I've made my choice... I have to stick with my Kululu. I appreciate the offer, but I can't stay," she told Future Kululu. He looked at her, listening. "Please! Please don't kill Kululu! I... I care about him! He's my friend... You should understand that."

Both Kululus froze up at Mois's confession about caring about them. Instead of an angry expression, Future Kululu just nodded and threw his gun behind his shoulders. "All right. If that's how you feel," he told her. "I won't force you to stay here against your will... If you really choose him, I suppose I'll have to tolerate that."

For some reason, he didn't seem angry. Maybe he's happy that I care about Kululu? Mois was relieved.

Future Kululu gave a large grin that only Kululu could see and offered his hand to help him up. "I have one question for you... For reasons to make sure that she's safe, answer honestly."

"What is it?" Kululu brushed his shoulders off, happy that he had won. She chose her own world. Thank frog.

Future Kululu came closer to him, a dangerously intimate gesture. "Will you promise to protect and love Mois?" he asked, loud enough for everybody to hear.

Everybody stared in shock at the question Kululu had been given. They all knew the answer he would give. Mois just blushed.

"O-of course not! No! I won't!" Kululu begin to blush as everybody stared at him. He hadn't expected to be asked that, either.

"That's exactly what I thought you'd say." Future Kululu's smile did not falter, and Kululu soon realized the reason that Future Kululu had gotten closer.

He had a dagger concealed under his cape that he didn't want anyone to see him stab Kululu with.

"Urgh!" Kululu felt warm blood flow out of his side as soon as the knife stabbed him.

"Ku, ku, ku. You failed the quiz. You don't deserve her," Future Kululu told him as Kululu begin to fall, unable to keep his balance as the knife jammed into him again.

"KULULU!" Mois screamed as Kululu's balance caused him to fall off of the cliff side.

No... Kululu thought. I'm not losing... I'm not going to lose to you... Before he fell, he grabbed Future Kululu's cape, pulling the evil dictator down with him.

Everybody watched in shock as the two fell off the cliff together, falling to what they assumed was their deaths.

"Kululu! No!" Mois screamed. She ran to the cliff side. Future Keroro turned away from the it, a tear trickling down his face.

"Go home," he told them.

"K-Kululu..." Fuyuki was still in shock from what just happened.

Dororo listened closely. "Wait! I hear some movement!"

The group looking hopefully at the cliff side as they saw a yellow hand emerge and climb up. Another hand reached up, and Kululu emerged, a stab wound on his side.

"Kululu!" Mois ran up to him in a hug, careful to not knock him off the cliff side again.

"Mois," he smiled, taking the hug from her.

Fuyuki smiled in relief. "Let's go home, guys."

"I agree. How much time do we have left?" he asked, letting Mois's hug envelop him.

"1 minute!" Dororo noticed. "We have to go!" He rushed into the portal, along with Fuyuki, who followed him.

"Come on, Kululu." Mois pulled him closer and jumped into the portal with him.

Plan C has gone successfully. I predicted his every move. Kululu smiled to himself as the four fell through the time portal. The time machine should explode, stranding him if he's still alive.

He touched his stab wound carefully, grimacing. The wound I gave myself hurts a bit. Ku ku ku. They'll remain unsuspecting.

Don't worry Mois. Now we'll be together and you'll be safe. Kululu held her hand, a large and sinister grin crossing his face for a moment.

They remained unaware of his true plan... replacing Kululu. The time machine exploded as soon as the group landed on the soft grass of the Hinata house's backyard.

"I'm so glad you're safe, Kululu." Mois smiled again.

"Me, too," he agreed, smiling wickedly. Mois was all his now. "Me, too."
